Ads have literally ruined the game.

Great game, plays well. Then you get to the inevitable ads and you see to be able to skip them after about 30 seconds. Now you’re stuck just looking at them and have to come out of the game to play another round. This needs fixing adap.

Love the game but there are some horrible bugs with ads recently. I have to restart the game every time when the ad loads as I’m unable to close it (even after waiting 3-5mins). Please please please fix it.

Adverts that you can’t close

Have been playing this game for a while and really enjoy the smooth gameplay. Recently however a number of adverts pop up which are impossible to close. As a result there is no other option but to close down the game. (Please fix if you can)

To be honest

All of the things are good in the gameplay, but , the lagginess of the game is simply rubbish! When I am in the middle of a game, the bad connection causes the screen to freeze and so if I spent like an hour on getting a big snake , I die in the game and all is wasted !!!! 😡 But also it is hard to get coins too . Apart from all of this , I have absolutely no other complaints about this game.

I just LOVE everything about this game, it’s pure fun and ridiculously addictive. I had downloaded it for my daughter when looking for something fun but also safe for her to play, but when she handed it to me and asked “mummy can you please make me king” that was it.. I was hooked!! As a grown adult with a full time job I’m not afraid to say that this game is my Friday night treat with a glass of wine in hand. Last update has some issues

Love this game it’s really fun but the only problem I have is that since the last update the games keeps crashing on the load up screen then I closes itself and the only way I can play is by deleting the game and then re installing it

I play against my 4 year old and I’m not sorry

This is the best purely for fun game for children I have come across. Generally, I don’t like my children going on apps because the in-app adverts are so intrusive and the games seem to be needlessly complicated they cause more frustration than fun.

I don’t understand how to use anything apart from the gems really - if there was a way of finding out how to use these things I keep collecting at the end of each game that would be good.

Finally, there are some in-app adverts that are not suitable for children - like the advert for the Epsiodes app. Is there a way of turning these off? I don’t like my 9 year old seeing them.

Snakey Snake

For many many years I have been playing mobile games, I owned a Nokia 3210 and played snake on it daily.

This version, not only is it the best snake game I’ve ever played, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best mobile game I have ever played. Literally.

Loads of things to customise, plenty of options for other gameplay. It’s box, colourful and very addictive.

I love it.

Would recommend to his game to anyone at all, all age groups, 24/7. I doubt highly we will see anything better.

I love this game, hours of fun! Only thing that is advisable is you can choose your own snake name & some people but offensive names - particularly racially offensive so one to watch out for kids. The game makers perhaps could disallow this feature to make the game safer. But other than that, fab fun game!

Now, this game is fun, sure, good graphics, unique story, it’s fun, however, the connection to multiplayer is horrible, I’ve checked it with other games and they all work fine except for this one, every time I play, it boots me off saying “connection error” or something like that ALL THE TIME, or. Other times it’ll freeze and kick me out the game, I’ve deleted the game now, but I don’t recommend at all if you want a game with good connection.

When downloading this game you expect there to be a catch to the game, like buying something or ads every time you die. This is not one of those games! Yes you can buy gems but that’s purely cosmetic or a slight advantage when you respawn and a perfect number of ads keeps you playing for hours. Been playing a while, got all my kids on too which is loads of fun. Until they try and pop the king cobra. Plenty of options in game and gems etc are always a bit pricey but that’s normal these days. My only add on is I’d like to be able to drop an emote as and when I want. Like when another play tries to take me out and I evade them like an absolute boss.

Why so many glitches

So I love the game however I have so many glitches, constant signal issues, and what really gets me is if it glitches out while starting the game you lose the power up you have pressed. Then you have the ‘invisible’ snakes, you know the ones that kill you but there nothing there

The most glitchy game ever

In essence this game could be brilliant but the development team behind it seem completely uninterested in fixing basic faults in the game. The connection to the game is extremely poor even when using high speed internet. No other app I’ve used has suffered connection issue but this poor game does.

Even in game, the mechanics fail regularly. Just now I was in a game and none of the special moves were being activated.

Basically, the game has lots of potential but it’s being managed poorly it seems.

Brilliant Classic game with a 3D twist .

Great game, took a little time to learn the controls, but once got the hang of it, I play it nearly every day now. Been top snake in classic mode a couple of times now. :) I love the gold rush play mode too, and though there is the pay to win option, and advertising, it doesn’t overwhelm the game play. Love the designs of the snakes , it’s fast, fun and fastrating at times but can stop playing.

Great game, but could be improved

I really like the game but it could be better as I just can’t figure out how to earn chests maybe you could earn them by (classic mode) reaching a certain length, achieving a certain number of kills or staying alive for a period of time, the better you do, the better the prize eg. 3 kills = bronze, 5 kills = silver, 7 kills = gold etc or for gold rush or battle royal a certain place would earn a certain chest level (corresponding to the trophy challenge) eg. <40 = nothing, <10 = bronze, <3 silver, 2 + 3 = gold and first = platinum

It would make an amazing improvement to an amazing game to get the clarity over how to earn chests. I don’t really mind how we earn them but these were my ideas.

Went to play this morning, after saving up for a long time (5000 coins) for a snake I want. I’ve lost it. I’ve gone back down to zero? Is there any way I can get my money back? If you play this game you will never want to leave it! I love the idea of the leaderboard and all the different sized chests. It is an awesome game and I love the different snakes especially the ones with circles around them, they have very cool body parts, I’m just a beginner but I have already got lots of different snakes! Fun but issues

I enjoy this game. The graphics are great the game modes are great fun too. I have found that the game however crashes all the time and the connection always drops out. Why my score is a 3 rather then a 5

Hi there!

I moved over from food street (which is my favourite game to play especially when there’s competitions on) but when I played this game it was great at the start and then as I died and respawned into a new match I was getting a high score and the game crashed unexpectedly and closed.

I went into a match again and the same thing happens again, it lags too but I’m assuming that’s from many people connecting to the same server or whatever but it’s a very disappointing flaw to such a great simple straight forward game, sorting out the lagging and the crashing would be the only improvement that I can see, and maybe the option of different fruits to eat, but overall love it!

The customisation is great and the graphics and customisation options really reminds me of spore (if anyone’s ever played that then you will hopefully know what I mean) overall love it but please fix the lagging (hopefully) and the crashing!

Fun but

Fun but can be annoying at times. The game gets conveniently buggy/ stucks when I’m trying to open chests. More than once a day at some point it would get stuck, resulting me losing the gems I’ve spent, and not even getting the items or power ups in my inventory.

I don’t usually play io games, but Snake Rivals caught my attention and kept me playing. Very crisp and polished graphics. Intuitive and responsive controls. 50 players in Battle Royale mode make it really fun. Not too much pushing of the usual Free To Play nonsense. Great little game for the commute or a little break. Graphics are great!!! Although it’s very heavy on paid items to progress, you don’t need to spend a penny to enjoy the game which is nice! All in all I really enjoy this game, it’s the only one I have on my phone and that’s saying something!

Great and addictive game! Can spend hours on it. One thing I don’t understand is I’ve played the game for over 6 hours and still haven’t unlocked a new skin and have only earned about 800 coins in total which isn’t enough. I must be missing something as every other player I see in the game has different skin to the default options.

Really enjoyable game but the battle pass is impossible to level up, please add a way to make it go up faster like the first 5 games doubles the amount of points you get for the battle pass as it really kills the game as you have to spend hours trying to get up one level. Other then this it is a good game and very enjoyable.

Keeps glitching and going off

The game is great don’t get me wrong I love it, but the fact I love it makes it 10 times worse when it legit turns itself off and glitches out just randomly in the middle of a game, I looked at me internet and if too many apps were running on my phone but no, no problems with any of that, it just keeps going off for no reason /:

Absolutely Amazing!

I love this new game! I think that it’s a real upgrade to certain... other games that are similar to this. I really love the cartoon art style and the addictive game play that can persuade you to play for much longer than anticipated. However i do think that the whole coin system could be improved by making it a bit easier to get them, like making some new challenges. But all around I think that this is a work of art in its own rights and you should definitely try it out if you have not done so yet

A new favourite. Small bug, though

Absolutely love this game. Though, every time I reach 20k-30k +, whenever I use ‘ghost’, it kills me as soon as I wander through a snake. Claiming that the snake killed me, despite only just turning ‘ghost’ on. This only happens when I’m ‘King’, which is super frustrating. Other than that, the game is a lot of fun and competitive.

Amazing Game And I Have Many Ideas For The Game!

It’s a really amazing game It’s the best game I’ve ever played on and I have many other ideas for this game like new modes snakes and eggs for the snake abilities maybe new ones because I have a great idea like if they get a Dino power up they become a T-Rex for a limited time and the eggs could be like I don’t know an Easter egg or a pumpkin since it’s Halloween? I mean I have tons of ideas but I can’t really tell you all of them on here but I can’t go onto any other apps because I’m only a kid but I really like this game but I do think it could be improved but overall it’s absolutely amazing and keep up the great work!

Good game when it works

I haven’t been playing this game for long but I love it already. It’s goofy with its design and fun with its game. I’d recommend it to many people.

However, regularly in the middle of the game it will lag horribly or crash. I’ve cleared a lot of my storage and lowered my quality and it still happens. Sometimes it just crashes completely in the middle of a game for no reason.

Also just a minor problem even when I’m at the front of another snake I still somehow die even when I didn’t crash into them they crashed into me, which is kind of unfair.

But I love the designs, the idea is cute and I enjoy the game modes!

My Review

Overall, the game it self is actually entertaining. I’m pleased they’ve added different game modes, maps and wide variety of snakes and the customisation for them snakes. Same with the power ups.

However, during my hours of gaming, I’ve had eggs spawn right in front of me, not giving me enough time to move, especially when I’m 10k+ in size. It’s happened 11 times during around 3-4 hours of playing it.

Another thing which I think should be changed is the food which other snakes drop when they’re killed. Rather large snakes don’t necessarily give you any different size. Even when you’re under 1k, and a 15k snake which died wouldn’t give you a boost in size nor food intake. I wouldn’t consider this a major problem but I personally think it needs to be redone.

Lastly, earning coins take rather long. I would’ve expected being alive and the size you die would have an impact on the amount you’re given and if that’s the case, it’s bad. I’m given such a low amount during each death and when these snakes are in the thousands, it’s essentially going to be a long progress.

I’d rate this a 4 out of 5. Overall, the game is nicely polished. I do get the od frame drop when I’m around 20k+ snakes but it’s nothing major. However, food intake on dead snakes and these egg spawns need to be sorted. Getting rather annoying when I’m killed by a user who simply spawned in.

Supersolid snake fun!

I like it that I get to play different modes in this game—and they all have their own fun. When you feel like you just want to laze around being a snake, there’s a mode for that. But when you feel like you need to be the king of snakes, there’s also a competitive mode for it. Well done!
