Better than the online portal but not perfect

I use this almost daily and it is pretty good but one thing that annoys me is that when setting up a payment you can’t see the bank details of the payee until you’ve set up the payment. I pay 2 different departments of one company and they have different bank accounts so I’m never sure if I’ve chosen the right account until the very last step

Excellent, so easy to use... nothing like the website!

This app is easy to use and navigate, everything is simple.
The only reason for taking 1 star away is that you can’t see pending transactions, if I’ve authorised a payment and want to see it/make an amend (or even just delete would do) it’s not visible unless I go into the main website.

Paid app now with spam promotions that won’t go away

I pay for Bankline, it’s a pretty rubbish service from NatWest but it’s the only way to access foreign currency accounts with Nattwest.
The new pop up adverts are just a plain nuisance; no matter how many times I select that I don’t want to see the advert for Tyl, there it is every time I open the app.
I do not want to see paid promotions in my paid for banking app, thanks very much.

Ads on Account Screen

Bankline is not free, the charges are at the high level for a bank. To then put an ad on the accounts screen for a card processing service is bad. The worst thing and what led to this review is when you close the ad a pop up asks if you want to be reminded about the ad or never see it again. It does not matter what you choose the ad is back next time. If you want to advertise make my bankline accounts free of charge or I am going to another bank.

Can’t update!

I have just downloaded and installed the latest version of IOS for my iPhone… IOS 12.4.9
My Bankline app will not update and not operate and I see a message telling me I need IOS 13.
Is there a solution or am I now precluded from using the Bankline app? There doesn’t seem to be an online help facility dealing with this aspect rather than general banking queries.

Issue

Something wrong this this version. Th app asks me to download new version because the currently one is old. When I download, it was not downloading. The app is not working now.

App is fantastic but we need the ability to switch between Bankline accounts

The app is great and is working really well. With the planned updates coming soon it’s goi g to be a valuable tool for managing my business accounts but I also have a second Bankline login for a different business and short of having two handsets I can see no way of switching between accounts. This feature would be incredibly useful.

Was brilliant!

This app worked brilliantly and I used it multiple times a day using Touch ID to log in. Then the login process changed.... I tried to log in using my passwords, PIN and card reader and it repeatedly said they were wrong and locked me out of both the mobile and desktop accounts. Passwords reset... works fine on the desktop but again is telling me they are wrong for the app. I know cyber security is an issue and they have had to tighten up but being repeatedly locked out of your own accounts makes the app not fit for purpose.

Feedback

This is a solid app and I am pleased to see that there has been and continues to be ongoing development.
I would however request that when viewing transactions, the app also includes the transaction type in the same vein as the information available when using the web version of the software, eg. Direct Debit, Standing Order, Cheque, etc.

Dangerous for international business

At least once a week the app will not show a foreign payment that is awaiting authorisation. Tried reporting issue weeks back, but all I have been told is can’t see why and it should work! Still the same issue

Great App but needs to handle multiple Bankline Logins

App is getting better and better and I find myself using the app to make and approve payments most of the time.
Given this is aimed at larger scale business users who may have multiple accounts (instead of basic internet banking) it really needs to have the ability to access multiple Bankline logins. Currently I have to use my iPad for one and iPhone for the other. I don’t always carry the iPad so it is a real bind as it is currently. It is not helpful when the ‘Developer’ responds 6 months ago saying the feedback is great but then nothing is added. It can’t be that difficult to add the extra functionality.

Bricks itself

This is a great app when it works but it’s got a bug. I’ve had to install it multiple times now as it keeps bricking itself. I use it fine for a few days logging out each time. Then the next time I try to log in I get a message saying my session has expired. Trying to get past this message just keeps looping back to the message again and I have to delete the app. Please fix this ASAP.

No International functionality

Great App for UK.
But there is no means of authorising International payments and international inter account transfers. It is missing this key feature!
I have to login to bankline each time for international payments/transfers and that’s not easy when I’m not sat at my desk with the gadget! Frustrating.

No log out crashes app plus still need desktop

The app is flawed in that you can’t cancel a payment only approve payments. I went on holiday with the “convenience” of app and did not take smart card. needed to cancel payment but could not do on app and no smart card. Ridiculous as can approve on app? could not cancel by ringing help desk or relationship manager .. please inform customers about stuff you can’t do instead of just what you can.
Also using i phone 10 get timed out and app crashes, or forget to go in settings and log out .. no visible icon so easy to forget. Have to reboot phone to sort.
if these niggles sorted would get 4.5 stars so hope someone listens ..

Latest upgrade for Bankline app keeps looping

Trying to use app but it fails saying I am not on the latest version pushing me to upgrade which I do but it says the app is up to date and opens the Bankline app telling me I am not up to date. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but it still does the same.

Laborious payment approval

Very time consuming to authorise more than one payment. Each individual payment needs your code entering and your finger print. The month end payroll or suppliers payments can take ages.
Why can’t we select individual payments and then authorise the selection instead of one at a time?
Also not yet found a way to export from sage payroll in such a way as the uploaded payroll batch is visible in the app. Bizarrely only visible on a pc. So to authorise payroll on the mobile app the payments have to have been input not using the batch upload and then each authorised in turn.

Great but would like to be able to use across multiple business accounts

Great app but we have multiple businesses so would be really valuable if we could set different login codes relevant to each business as at present I can only accsss the app for one business on my phone which is not efficient for me. Could this be looked at in the next phase of development? So maybe logging in using user name and id of existing bankline and then verifying this is face or Touch ID? Really hope this is developed as the app is fantastic and I would really like to be able to fully utilise this for all the business accounts

Payment amendments

I think that the app is great, however, after entering a payment, there is no way (that I can see) to amend the payment. Nor cancel it? Is there anyway that this can also be built in to the app?

Great App

Love the app, helps me keep an eye on the bank daily even when out of the office. Only issue is that payments aren’t always showing for me to authorise? We do 2nd authorisations and my colleague has text me this morning to authorise but the payment isn’t showing? Worked once when first released but not since?

Payments & Transfers

So I can set up a payment using the app for existing templates and bulk lists - Great. However I cannot authorise the payments or amend the payment from the app. I have to log in to the Bankline website to be able to authorise or amend.
