Great idea, but the interface is quite clunky and hard to navigate. Also, it seems like there are a lot of inactive accounts so I didn’t manage to make any actual contact with anyone

Students go through a simple but secure verification process to ensure they should have access to the app. There are a number of safeguarding features within the Umii app, as well as safeguarding services and wellbeing officers at your university.

Brilliant Idea But Could Be Executed Better
The idea is truly great as there’s nothing else like this. However the layout of the menus is sometimes I think confusing and certain personal info/settings take a lot longer to set than it should. Also the limitation on 3-5 matches per day is slightly low I think as from personal experience as a 1st year, I have not yet matched someone even I my year yet after 2 days. Brilliant idea though!

Good app, but performance is awful
I like the concept of this app, but it's extremely painful to navigate with the time it takes to load. Performance needs improvement. All other apps on my device are instant. It takes forever to load connections/messages.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues? I don't have any problems on other apps so I'm assuming it's related to this one app.

Keeps crashing
App keeps crashing, bugs need to be fixed.

Terrible Functionality
this app is barely functional- it crashes every 5 minutes and that’s if the app loads at all

Great!
I loved using UMII in the beginning stages of my first year at university, it really allowed me to easily make connections with other students and find people to talk to which was especially useful during a pandemic
