On the face of it this is no different to many other editing apps. The ‘easily turn yourself into GTA character’ is simply not the case. No problem easily subscribing and then cancelling, since I wouldn’t subscribe to something that doesn’t do what it says on the tin. I loved this app, I’ve been using it for well over a year, weekly at least. I happily invested in the annual subscription because the features were the best for my usage and what it allowed me to do. Sadly, I’m fast going off it thanks to it constantly crashing, having adverts popping up frequently and being asked every time I try to use it, if I mind being tracked throughout the developers other apps, to which I say I do mind! I’ve always had to click on ‘restore’ numerous times whilst using the app, which was an irritation, but with everything else, I’m very tempted to turn my loyalty to other apps. Please fix these things! I love this app, but it’s at the point I can’t use it anymore.

How to work this app
So I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying how u have to pay BUT U DONT because I didn’t get the no water marks thing. I saw an ad for this app and I thought it looked cool! So I went to the App Store to download it, it was free. It took a while for the app to download but once it was done I went strait into it. When I got into the app it said that I would need to pay for the app, even though it was free on the App Store. After I was about to delete the app it asked for a rating, even though I hadn’t even used the app! I bet this app is amazing but I just thought it was a bit confusing.

I would suggest downloading it for the three day total. Just make sure you cancel straight away (you can still use it for the trial period).

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - Don’t download
I personally downloaded this app because I saw an Instagram ad for this app where you can see what you look like with different hairstyles, which is completely false as it isn’t even a function present in the app. After reading some other reviews I saw others were coaxed in the same way with the promise of being able to convert photos into an anime style composition. What makes this all a problem is that you must pay a monthly subscription which you must agree to before being allowed to explore the app. Luckily it gives you a weeks free trial where you can easily cancel your subscription without paying anything, but nonetheless the app’s developers are liars and this app should be removed from the App Store. All this app really is is an unimpressive generic photo editing app. You can find much better photo editing apps for free.

I found this app in an advert that showed turning photos into anime Characters. I thought it would be fun to see how I looked as an anime, so I downloaded the app. As soon as I got on to it, it asked me to continue with a subscription and there was no cross or any option not to. I pressed continue and explored the app. There was nothing about turning pictures into anime. The app was poorly presented and it was rather boring because all you could do was add stickers borders or text. I decided to delete the app but it seemed that I was still paying £7.45 per month for it. I googled how to cancel a subscription if you don’t have the app any longer. I found out a way to cancel a subscription so if the same problem happens to you, just do this: Go on the update option at the bottom of the AppStore page. Then click onto the person in the top right. After that, press on Phonty and the it should come up with the option to cancel the subscription. I hope this helped!

Looks like a free app but then after you’ve entered Apple ID, you realise they charge you £7.99 for subscription and then say it’s not their fault that you’re being charged. You have to go through 10 pages of terms before being told (rather basic) how to get rid of the subscription and now I’m having to check Apple ID everyday to make sure I don’t get charged. Other apps do it better and for free. Wouldn’t bother.

In the past few days I have seen multiple ads for this app which had shown people using the app to transform themselves into an anime character. This however, is untrue as there is no way to do this and looks as though it was a marketing ploy to lure people into downloading the app and subscribing to their ‘content’. Rip-Off False advert emoji conversion
Download the app hoping to use the convert photo to emoji option advertised on Facebook.
Unable to use any functions or sample functionality without signing up to a subscription.
Once signed up opened app and no such functions available just a big standard photo editing app for £1 per day.

But why lie about what it can do - that is really taking the ****.

What ever you do do not download this app, they lied about certain things you can do with the app as well as lying about a commercial what brought me to the app in the first place. What ever you do do not download this app unless you would like to be completely disappointed I feel like I’ve actually stolen money from you. They’re are disgusting degenerates, that are scammers.

Lies about the anime thing
Decent enough photo editor, but the weekly subscription fee is too high when other apps on the market doing similar.
Downloaded because it said you could turn yourself into an anime character, but cannot find a single way to do this! FALSE ADVERTISING IS ILLEGAL

Blatant false advertising on Facebook made me download this. It claimed to be able to tuen photos in anime characters yet this app has no such functionality.
I’ve visited the Facebook page for this app, and it’s full of fake FB profiles for friends all called Phonty, Phon Ty etc, probably to give fake positive reviews of their page.
Awful business practices, and even without the anime function, the app is incredibly basic and in no way worth the money they are asking.
