Ridiculous pay to win setup

I’ve played this game for a while and won few games. It’s in an interesting strategy game with one big REMARK: The game have built in ‘cheats’. You can purchase these for real money and they ruin game experience completely

Opponents can ‘heal’ their troops, insta build their towns & troops etc. It is clear that game devs need some cash. It can just be implemented in a more players friendly way

Great but has some issues

You need a lot of resources at the start and towards the end when your army gets bigger you constantly have to go to war because you’ll need resources apart from that the way this game controls morale isn’t the best you have to pay your gold which you can’t get any other way to get an higher morale meaning you waste the thing the game gives for free because otherwise your army won’t be the strongest it could be😐other then that the game is superb with strategic battles and real life time in game and the fact that you can message other countries and make alliances is great so a couple of improvements but other then that it’s worth giving a shot

Finally, I’ve found what I want in a game

I’ve been looking for a strategy game for a while but most of what I’ve found have either been pay to win or constant tutorials. And I hate tutorials. This one is short and swift and it’s great that it’s online because it has allowed me to play with my freinds. Very good, would recommend to anyone who likes strategy hates tutorials and/or likes ww1.

At the moment, there is a glitch on the game when you try to open it, it shows the standard loading screen, the game, then another loading screen, then a completely black screen with nothing to interact with, this is stopping me from actually playing this game.

I was looking for a kind of hoi 4 game and I came across this and because I like ww1 more than ww2 this is perfect I highly recommend this a real time strategy game for ww1 with loads of different gamemod s like the Great War or stuff like every country for itself 10000000 out of 10 by far

Unbelievable game

Think this game is top of any game I have played but I am sick of it crashing it’s becoming a bit of a joke also just payed £11.99 for for some coins and what a surprise 5 minutes later it crashed and now won’t let me get back on I seriously hope they are going to refund me!!!!!

Adequate strategy game. Serious pay to win issue

Originally played back in 2014 on the pc so I get it for mobile a new months ago and I got put in a tutorial lobby. It Was a blast where me and a french guy joined forces and we won convincingly. Beyond playing a tutorial round with new players, if you play a lobby with regulars you’ll get at least one person in every round who will use gold mark to cut out waiting times or acquire anything else they need. I just got out of a round and had another player messaging me saying he spent over 160 pounds on gold mark to fully upgrade two provinces, build rail guns, bombers and battleships, buy resources, destroy my industry and cut out waiting times all in the space of 10 minutes all because I attacked him. Now to upgrade two provinces to full capacity without cutting the wait and without weapon production would take 3+ weeks playing legit. There should be a limit to how much gold mark you can spend in one game. That would be a start to curb the pay to win advantage. My advice is to stay in the tutorial lobbies and just play with noobs and bots so there is less likely somebody using gold mark, unless you have a stacked wallet and can afford to compete with the person you will eventually bump into and then it becomes a battle of who can spend the most cash.

Pay to win, don’t bother.

Same story as all the others who gave this a one star review. Spend ages building an army you think is decent enough and methodically taking areas you need, just for some player who is throwing money at the game to come and undo what you did in a week in under 3 hours! Seriously?! This needs to sort out balancing but they probably won’t as all other comments which outline this issue haven’t had a response from the developer as they are too busy lining their pockets to care.

It’s ok but..

It’s a good game but to stand any chance of staying in any game you need to spend a lot of money to stay in any campaign. The game also has a tendency of freezing for several days and you can’t get in the game. Shame it’s a good game but these really let it down.

All I can say is that I lost my account after trying to get the thing to load because it would just get stuck on the loading screen, so what I did was tried deleting then downloading the game again as on other games it would normally fix the game but it decided to completely wipe my data and start me all over again, If anyone can help me my username on it was one of these I can’t quite remember, (salamanszca, salamanzsca, salamanzca,salamansca)

Crashing

It was fine yesterday and most of today but this past hour, it kept crashing. I’ve been waiting for my phone to cool down and trying again. I tried with my data instead of WiFi. I put it on charge and I closed all my other tabs but it still crashes immediately after I open one of the games.

Good fun

I really enjoy the game and i have been playing for around 4-3 months it is one of the closest mobile games to Hoi4 and i don't really get pay to win players in my games so I'm having lots of fun

Love it

This is an amazing strategy game that despite what others have said, does not require you to spend money to progress in the game. Obviously if you have a lot of spare money lying around then you’ll have an advantage, but I have not had any issue at all with it. I was surprised how I enjoyed the long time to wait to do things as it makes you make careful decisions and it is very satisfying to capture a place. Support was incredible. I had a problem that I thought was a bug but it turned out I hadn’t found out about a part of the game. Even though there was nothing wrong with the game and the support response is supposed to be within a maximum of 72 hours, I incredibly got a reply within 3 hours! I haven’t found a single part I dislike about the game yet, and the developers are doing a great job, keep it up! Sorry for the long review but there are so many positives. I would recommend this game to anyone, even if you don’t like strategy games, just stick with it for at least a few in game days and you’ll probably love it just like me.

Great game, BUT please reduce playing time though

One of the game on the App Store. Love the concept with the mix of war tactics and resource management. It is simplistic yet strategically complex.

HOWEVER, I really want this game to greatly reduce the time it takes to manoeuvre troops and develop infrastructure. I believe this will keep people interested for longer and allow you to have more games. I understand this is a strategy to make players spend money but I think this is ineffective. This also acts negatively on the player experience, which I believe this game requires.

I’m sure you’ll work something out.

Ruined by pay to win

Was really enjoying this for the first week, set my long term strategy, made careful decisions on construction, production and resources, gained a lot of territory, made plans with allies and decided to attack another player who had made bad strategy decisions, overstretched and left themselves exposed. The other player spawned 20 elite units (battleships, bombers and rail guns) in 2 cities in the space of 10 minutes and obliterated my entire army. Over the next day they took over the entire map spawning at least 60 more units that I could count, I worked out to instant spawn a unit (not including buying the resources) costs about £5.50 each... dude had at least 80 instantly! The game is nothing to do with strategy just utterly pointless pay to win rubbish.

Great game for the Great War

This is a very good game and even in my first game I had a blast and it was easy enough to pick up I do recommend if you like strategy games and my favourite aspect of the game is diplomacy as I love to Allie myself whit as many people as possible

Plus the customer service is fantastic and have resolved my one issue over night and very professionaly

Can’t register or login

On the start, pressing the app, I am on the screen when it says play or login with Facebook or google. I click play but nothing happens and logging in with google or Facebook for some reason isn’t working. I click continue to login with Facebook or google, but it then after returns to the same screen not doing anything, I press play but its does nothing. Please help

A pay to win/ multi account player game.

Have played six games and every single time there were multi accounts and pay to win players- sometimes the multi accounts even had clear tell names which was the same word numbered 1,2,3, and reports got nowhere.

Even the multi accounts didn’t win because the pay to wins just bombed them and everybody else.

Would not recommend this game.

Supremacy 1914

Like it’s WW2 version, Call of War, this is an engaging and enjoyable strategy game.

There’s enough economics and infrastructure to organise to make it multi-layered - but it’s not too complicated.

I would give it 4 stars but some of the unit interactions are implausible to say the least; ie, a naval cruiser (which takes a lot of time and resources to build) can be defeated by simply sending a few infantry into the sea...

That’s obviously not realistic - and is apparently not a bug - which means that someone meant for that to happen.

If they sort out things like that then it will be even better than it already is.

A game for pay to win players

Spent days building up my territory, improving buildings, aiming for more and more advanced units just so a pay to win can cripple my entire country’s advanced buildings in a single night leaving me with nothing but infantry to defend against long range bombardment from artillery and nothing to defend my coastline and airspace, strategy and effort are nothing to the games real genre of paying to win
