I had this app a few years ago and I love drawing guessing games so I re-downloaded it. Super annoyed at how many ads there are but I know I enjoy the game so since it’s a one time purchase I just bought the no ads thing. Closed it for the night and the next morning there’s a goddamn ad on the main screen. It’s not a pop up ad and you don’t need to wait for it to close or anything but I payed real life money to not have ads and that shouldn’t just apply to pop up or banner ones.

The reason why I gave this app 1 star is because it’s got adds after every match and when you draw something it looks exactly like the thing you are drawing but it still gets the wrong answer like for ear I had drawn a perfect ear and it said hockey stick. When I saw this game in the AD, it looked interesting and fun, but when I downloaded it, IT IS THE COMPLETE opposite! You also spend HOURS watching ads and lose your competition! Ads come out of nowhere, even in the middle of a game! And also, are the ‘players’ you play against are even real players? I had this very weird, and suspicious, gameplay where two players EXACTLY drew the same thing EACH TIME! The very next game all 3 of them did the same thing! I thought that this would be an interesting game. It’s not. First of all, the AI that guesses the drawing isn’t that good. Second, the main reason I got this game was to play against other players. Firstly, the AI is very stupid (that’s the nicest way I can put it) for example, when I draw a butterfly it thinks its a camel???

Secondly, SO MANY ADS, I came across 3 ads in one game which is outrageous.

Thirdly, are you sure the ‘online players’ are actually real? I swear, they literally draw a cat with no accuracy or detail and they get it right!?

Fourthly, the game freezes so much but the timer continues and also the other ‘online players’ are not having any issues as while my screen is frozen they are still drawing.

Lastly, I’m not sure is this is happening to anyone else but the loading is so long and it also takes quite a while to look for ‘online players’

So there’s lots of comments about ads which I will admit is annoying but what’s worse is the leader board isn’t real & your playing against bots so really it’s a pointless game, you can check this out when you score over a thousand points (yes I played it a lot lol until I realised ) you will notice no one on the leaderboard gets over a thousand points plus the names constantly change but no one ever gets over the thousand plus if you notice the names of the people your playing against don’t change that much. I like this game a lot actually but there are a few things I would change up. When I first bought the game, (a few days ago), I kept coming first (not to boast) and theregkrs moving up the leaderboard but when I dissent come first, I think I came 3rd, I moved down the leaderboard. After a few more tries I came 1st again bit still moves down the leaderboard! This has happened a few times and I think I should probably ignore the whole leaderboard thing but it is rather annoying. Also, I don’t think the app should have adverts because they keep interrupting the game and also the VIP things as since it is a kids game, some kids are not allowed to buy stuff on games and I think this is rather unfair. On the adverts this game looked pretty fun, so I decided to download it, but now I regret it. It’s quite boring and annoying - 1) the things it asks you to draw repeat quite a lot. For example, It asks me to draw a cloud or nose so I draw a cloud. I draw it very clearly - clouds are easy to draw so it should be guessed correctly straight away - but the game just guesses that it’s a camel! No offence but I think the guessing is just pathetic. 3) I don’t think the other players (your opponents) are even real. Are they? If they’re not real then the drawing competition is just worthless. 4) I have read other people’s reviews and they said that the game is laggy and that it freezes. Because of this, they lose time and end up losing the drawing competition. Maybe it’s because of the type of the device they have or how old it is, but still please fix it. Also, they said that there’s lots of advertisement. I know it’s kind of a typical thing in a game but there’s way too much and they say it pops up in the middle of the game? How annoying must that be!?

I came across an ad for this game - it seemed interesting. I had played games like this before previously and I was excited to try it out. The game downloaded suspiciously quick and I opened it on the AppStore. It seemed genuine and I actually enjoyed playing it; although the ads on the game were a pain. This game is quite literally just a fad, the people you are competing against are clearly bots.

1) Why don't I see anyone with any inappropriate names? I tested it out and made my name an inappropriate word to see if they ban me from playing until i changed it, & I still managed to play with people, so how come I dont see anyone else with inappropriate names?

2) Following from my first point, why arent there any people that draw inappropriate drawings and don't play the game properly? We ALL know if you were playing with real people, there would be people that obey the rules of the game and decide to mess around & draw phallic symbols.

3) Everyone is just so unrealistically slow, i played like 30 games and won all but 1 of them, which is definitely fishy because a normal person would be firing through each round.

If you dont mind that you're playing against bots, then i do recommend the game as it is fun, but if you want to play against real people this isnt the game for you.

Yeah, so as I mentioned, the idea is really nice! Could even tie with among us! But the game itself.. let me put it this way; wasn’t pulled off very well. Ads CONSTANTLY interrupt my game experience and because I am a kid, I am not allowed to spend money on games. This means whenever I am playing, an ad just pops up and I have to watch through it, when I FINALLY get back on the game the other players are already 3/4 levels ahed of me and I automatically lose. If there is no ads DURING the game then there is sure to be one after which means I don’t get the money because an ad interrupts THEN the screen freezes (my next issue) and I have to restart the app for it to do anything which means my money hasn’t saved. As I mentioned earlier my screen freezes, this happens ALL THE TIME! When I am drawing the drawing suddenly stops and I can’t do anything, the drawing won’t work, clear won’t work, skip won’t work. So of course I have to restart the app or wait in the time I could be drawing then get a really bad score because it freezed so I couldn’t draw and the time ran out. Even though I only got this app TWO DAYS AGO these problems have been happening CONSISTENTLY and only with this app so it is NOT a problem with my phone. Also, it says it’s compatible with my phone so that’s not the issue either.

Far too many advertisements. There are 30 second advertisements after every game and often advertisements DURING games. Advertisements when you level up and advertisements when you unlock new words. I get that free-to-play games need advertisements but this is beyond ridiculous and I’m not over-exaggerating. You WILL spend more time watching advertisements than playing. A solution to this problem would be to buy the advertisement-free version but after getting extremely frustrated at the blatant exploitation of advertisements, I simply did not want to give the creators any of my money. I may reconsider if there is some balancing of advertisements in the future. As for the game itself - I couldn’t form an opinion as there were too many advertisements. This is absolutely riddled with bloody ads. I can’t complete 1 game without having to sit through 2 ads both lasting 30ish seconds. The more you play, the more you unlock words in an rng spin the wheel sort of mechanic. The game forces you into doing this, causing another ad to play when you’re finished. They’ve somehow managed to butcher a simple yet good concept for a game by adding convoluted mechanics and ads around every corner. Simply stripping the game down to the core aspect of a pvp online drawing game would make for a much more pleasant experience as well as giving the game a quick pick up and play aspect. In its current state, due to the flaws I previously mentioned, the game is a wreck. This is a good example of the old “more is less”; less time playing the game, and more time spinning wheels and watching ads.

I love this game so much! Cures boredom in lockdown definitely, I would recommend this app if you won’t mind the ads. My issue is that quite a few times I got a 1 MINUTE ADVERT. THAT IS AN OUTRAGE. Overall, this game is okay. I, personally, do not like it. Why, you may ask? Well, first of all, massive issue, is that when you draw really accurate drawings, the game says it is something different and if you look at the other people, you are doing way better than them at drawing skills, and they are getting to go ahead, while you are stuck trying to pass one object! This is really not fair and put me off the game straight away. Second of all, the game can be very laggy, and whilst I appreciate the lack of adverts, I find it extremely unfair that the timer carries on when you are unable to draw anything. My last question is, are the other players bots? Because they seem to be the same quality level every time!

To conclude, I do recommend trying this game, but only if you think that my description is okay for you. This is only my opinion, and I am not saying that the game is bad, I just think that it needs work. 🙂

I think it’s okay but there are 4 things I’m not happy about:

1. There are WAY too many ads. Every time I go in and out of a game; guess what. There’s a flipping 28 second ad about words with friends 2. You can’t even turn off your internet and play because you need internet to play online. So there is no way of getting rid of ads for free. It’s really annoying.

2. The guesser is just RANDOM. I am waiting for the guesser to guess, let’s say, a windmill. It comes up with moon, arm, plant and pot. It takes half an hour for it to guess an eye, with it now thinks is a windmill.

3. Lags and freezes are always catching me out, I get put last because it froze halfway through while the timer was still running.

4. It gets quite boring after a while. The same thing comes up, you know what to draw ASAP before the timer runs out. Same basic objects. Leg. Pineapple. Line. Smiley face.

I would really appreciate if anyone read this and made some fixes even to make these annoying 4 go away. If they do, this game would be 5 stars. Thanks for hearing me out.

I’m used to games having an ad between each go but this takes it too extremes. I downloaded it after ironically seeing an ad and played it for about 7 or 8 levels. As far as I can tell there’s an advert at the end of every game and before you can play the next one another second advert. If you spin to get more words to play with, an advert, in the middle of the game if you clear what you’re drawing an advert. Each game is relatively short so the amount of time playing compared to watching an advert is out of proportion for my liking so will be deleting. Obviously free games need some advertising to pay for themselves but there’s got to be some balance. Especially as the adverts all seem to be the 30 second ones rather than an image that can be quickly closed.

As far as I could tell the game itself was ok, showed potential but would have needed to play longer to judge the longevity or one where you’d quickly tire of the concept.

Not exactly what I was thinking.

After seeing so many adverts of this game I decided to download it. I played it for a very short time and now wouldn’t advise anyone to do the same. This game is quite laggy: it sometimes freezes my screen but keeps the timer active. This is unfair as I am losing time while other players are not. It’s even more annoying, as there is so many adverts, (ideally after each game) some are constantly the same and when I try to skip them it takes my to the App Store to download it. As well as this, the guessing of this game is not very realistic. For example: it asks me to draw a saucepan or a hedgehog. I draw a saucepan very clearly, and thinks that I am drawing something like a leg. I draw a hedgehog clearly instead, and doesn’t guess that. Other times, it asks me to draw a rainbow or an eye, so I clearly draw an eye and I thinks it is a rainbow! I draw a bunny with a lot of detail and other players who draw it without so much detail get the point and I don’t. I wouldn’t advise downloading this game even though it might look amazing. I feel like I’m being goaded to pay, and that actually just makes me want to delete the app. Which is a shame, because it’s great fun.

First off I would like to say that I do like this game, however the advertising on it is a joke! You finish a game, there’s an advertisement, click off the main menu and then return to it, another advertisement, is beyond ridiculous.

The reason I find it confusing is that with certain things you need to draw ie a triangle, it’ll guess everything except the triangle which is stupid and will keep repeating itself despite the fact it wasn’t right the first time it said it. Adding onto this you can draw whatever it is you’re meant to and it won’t guess it right but then the next turn, you’ll do the same drawing and then it’ll come up with the right answer???

If you have patience and don’t mind watching a crazy amount of ads, I would recommend this game.

Also how bad is the AI!!!! The guesses are just ridiculous for the most obvious drawings and even when it guesses wrong they don’t re-guess it sticks with the same guess until I re draw the picture. When the picture would be obvious to a blind man!!

I’m shocked to hear it’s an ai guessing. I had made excuses to myself that it was drunk teenage idiots who kept guessing “aircraft carrier” or “asparagus” to picture after picture.

As everyone else says theoretically great game ruined by far to high an advert to play ratio, and some positioned as if they’re experimenting with how furious a simple game can make you.

Third complaint is that even if other games will play fine, and even if this is the only thing running it regularly hangs. Sometimes it’s permanent hang/crash - that’s usually in adverts, sometimes it’s lots of little hangs in your drawing so it garbles the picture making curves into angles or worse, and you have to clear it and start again.

I downloaded this for relaxing creative fun. I’ve noticed I’m more stressed after playing it because it’s such bloated adware.

It’s idea and style is great so I’ll give it a go occasionally for a while to see if it gets improved but otherwise the greed of too many ads will lose a player who usually is happy to even sometimes click thro and download from ads if they are presented in balance.

Such a shame.

A great concept made unplayable by greed.

I would definitely play this game a lot more if I could actually compete against real people. The other ‘players’ are just computer generated. I enjoyed it for a while until i found out that the “online players” are not online players AT ALL. when you click the play button to start the game it says that it is looking for world wide players when they are just waisting time by “searching” for people. The way i found this out was by turning my wifi and my mobile data off so i have no internet connection. And then it brings me into a game! Also it forces you to buy words. A) this makes the game harder and I understand that. B). It is unsatisfying because it would be satisfying if you could save up tones of money and spend it all at once but that is impossible on this app. Also the guessing AI is not very good. I draw a very clear eye that has eyelashes and all detail but it doesn’t pick it up and the other “players” do the exact same thing with less detail and get it right. It would be a lot more fun if you could do REAL online play and maybe local play too. Not the best of games out there.

This is potentially a really good game. The amount of advertising is horrendous. How much life have I got left. If you try and erase your picture ADVERT. If you win some new categories ADVERT. If you close the iPad and come back to it, yes, you’ve guessed it, the advert is still there. I was drawing ie a flower does that look anything like a police car. A camel - squiggle. So who is guessing? Having said all this I really do like this game, it’s just the perishing adverts.

Really good game, but if you want to clear you drawing you have to watch a video?? That’s so pathetic and it could put you down you to fourth place😒also once I drew a house it thought it was a smiley face? It clearly wasn’t a smiley face and one last thing I was on 11 drawings first and then this guy got to 11 and the rest got to 11 and we all stayed on 11 because it was a hard round and at the end I was 4th??! I was clearly the first on 11!! Like ughh this game is fun and great graphics but very annoying sometimes! YOU NEED TO FIX AND MAKE SURE WE DONT HAVE TO WATCH A VUDEO TO CLEAR OUR PICTURE! But other than that great game

This game is so much fun to play, i havn’t been so addicted to a game for so long. It’s fun to the point other people have asked for a go on my phone to play it. Unfortunately theres a couple of issues, firstly, as someone that really can’t draw, once you progress in the game and unlock more packs, it gets so difficult. Suddenly the easier ones just disappear, one would be nice occasionally. Also the main issue is since the lat update the ‘clear’ button created an advert. Personally, i naturally close the game every time this happens. It makes the game a lot slower, long winded and boring. Ads for skips, i understand, but not for clearing.

Overall, really fun game though :)

Overall it is a great game although it can get a bit frustrating as when trying to clear your drawing when you mess up it gives you an ad in an online game may I add. This then means that while playing against others you may lose five seconds of play which may not seem like a lot but in this game that can mean a loss or a win because there is a timer going down which due to the online nature of the game means that is still going down while you have to watch this ad waiting to be able to skip it. However though what I have said it is still a great game that I would recommend.

The game is alright but I am having problems with the fact that I always end up last because the game doesn’t guess my picture even though I draw the exact same thing as everyone else on the game with me so personally I don’t think that they are people from around the world and I believe that they are AI’s. Secondly the amount of ads is horrendous and is making me not want to watch them to get free stuff because I have had to watch about three before getting to that actual page. I was going onto the page about characters and it made me watch an ad then I watched an add to get something and then I had to watch an add to get back to the home page and then another to begging to play the game it’s REDICULOUS!

I absolutely love this game so much !! It has the best quality and the best drawing genres!! The reason I took off one star though, is because of how the guesser is very um.. let’s just say dumb ?? When I had the item “umbrella” I drew a teacup and it guessed umbrella ?? I don’t understand that but also,, when u draw it’s also very hard because I don’t have good internet so it’s very slow. This means that my timer goes fast because my game freezes and the timer always speeds up OR skips many numbers. Please fix this bug. Other than the negatives,, it really is an exquisite game! Many people would enjoy it ( if they had good internet unlike mine) !! So if someone downloads this,, I’m sure they’d have a fantastic experience !!
