Although the game is brilliant and extremely fun there’s some issues I encounter firstly sometimes the size of provinces shrink and august is displayed after September Ives tried many things including deleting and re downloading but still nothing some feature I do recommend are a way to add onto your current scenarios so edit them after straying etc.

I have fixed my previous problem on the unit selection, but I have discovered a new one.. the enemy armies even if THEY are the aggressors make the first move instead of you, even against AI!!, this is very very unfair as u can rarely ever out-manoeuvre ur enemies, making a very LONG war happen, if u have a low patience and can’t spend a long time playing games, DON’T BUY THIS!!!!. ((I’m not just being very picky, it took me 30 IN REAL LIFE MINUTES to get through half of Poland as Germany in 1938.))

Ther are two provennces in Russia that when changing technology levels shows up as Iberia this causes a bit of a problem because when turning asia into waistland it turns these provences in to waistland when there clearly in Europe these provences are veryin the verry top right part of the black sea hope this helps lol

At first it takes so getting used to to know how to do everything.
It’s like a mobile version of hoi4. You can go back from modern day to the Roman Empire and even before that.
There are ranges of scenarios all the way from world wide like the 1400 and yr 5ad to wars like the three kingdom wars and the American civil wars all on its own.

This Is a fantastic and entertaining game, BUT after a while you will get bored of it. To combat this problem I’d recommend that they update the game and make people pay for sandbox mode.. ya know… capitalism? (Profit).
Another cool feature would be to add an option where you can add roads between towns and cities which would benefit military logistics and determining on how much you’ve upgraded it will increase the amount of times you can move infantries / troops between provinces per turn.

The developer for this game has abandoned this project due to an YouTuber claiming this game was an HOI4 ripoff which quite gain a lot of attention in that particular hemisphere. Nonetheless, paying customers such as myself quite enjoy this game and in fact don’t see it an HOI4 ripoff. But since the developer has abandoned this game, the game is riddled with numerous bugs, for instance once you get past a certain turn you’ll be unable to make diplomacy to other nations which is very important in this game, another issue I’ve occurred is my phone heating up (iPhone 12) a simple game like this shouldn’t be heating my phone but here we are and it crashes once you hit over 3000 plus turns.
I’ll doubt the developer will read my reviews, but I’ll hope a potential customer will and consider the possibilities of purchasing this product.

The game is brilliant on PC which is very good with hot keys like F3 for diplomacy and E for the more interface but on mobile the developers have done such a great job making up for the lack of buttons and have made the literally the same of a game made for a computer on mobile just as good. I enjoy this game, it’s one of the best history games on the AppStore although it’s know to be a half baked version of Europa universales 4 .

The game is great, however what kind of ruins the game is the fact that the game crashes all the time. For example, when you are creating a scenario, the game could just crash which takes your time. Also in general, the game lags a lot. It could be difficult sometimes if you zoom out, sometimes when you zoom back in the game will zoom in to somewhere random so you have to adjust you camera.

So like the title says, everything is perfecto, a few glitches here and there but nothing major, except for one thing. When I get too big (exceptions for when I formed the Austria-Hungary empire) when I logged off and came back whenever, when I reloaded the save it went back to the menu with a blank world. And when I pressed the button to get to the saves I clicked on the save that I want to reload, right, and when I pressed on something my screen just started to shark violently and I didn’t know what to do, so I deleted the game and re-installed it and…POOF! All of my saves are gone. And this also happened when I tried to reload my Franco-German empire save with ~1000 provinces, really truly annoying. If this was fixed then the game would be great, thank you for reading.

The game just crashes at random times which really pisses me off I’ve been at war with Morocco as England and the game crashed soo much progress lost and it happens all the time and its not even a hardware issue im on an iphone 11 so there’s no excuse for low performance issues. Second problem is just how easy it is to get to the top ten list i played bosnia and within like 50 years went from number 60 or something to 7 only taking out small parts of serbia and that one costal kingdom

Yes this is an amazing game in terms of grand strategy but it is a garbage patch in terms of functionality. I will use a game I played as an example. I was playing as brandenburg and worked up to the German empire and that part was fun but then the game started constantly crashing. It deleted areas of land I have discovered and just now it deleted the entire map from this game that I put 3+ hours into. There are no longer any countries on the map and every province is neutral. And to add to that now the game won’t load the full scale map anymore.

Constantly almost every 10/20 turns this game crashes, in fact you have to save game every 5 turns just incase all your progress is lost. Please do not do same mistake as us and look for similar other games as this is not reliable especially when playing.

Absolute great game and update to the previous lite versions etc....but it keeps bloody crashing and having faults.
Played a game for 4 hours and I saved it approx 10 times. The auto save was about 5 times.
Then when I reloaded after my break it went back to the last auto save! Arghhhhh
Just avoid until the developer pulls their finger out and sorts issues to make it a

This is a wonderful game, great idea for a game, also great historical knowledge. However I would suggest some improvements. Firstly I think it’ll be good if you have more scenarios, for example WW1 and bits in the Cold War (have NATO and communist countries as alliances). Also I would suggest a way in which you can improve troops ability other than just having a lot of them.

The game is one I spend most my time on when I’m bored without anything else to do, and I just find it pure fun, whether that be watching the AI create absolute border gore or if it’s me conquering Europe in the 1940s, the game is merely superb.
In future, I would love to see updates on the games military aspect, such as adding types of troops, rather than merely ‘troops’. It’d be great in say, 1936 as Germany with the Luftwaffe, and the Kriegsmarine. I understand if this update won’t be implemented of course, but only a suggestion

I remember seeing this game get a lot of flack among the Paradox Interactive community for being a half-baked copy of Europa Universalis IV and I originally never thought much of it, but as a mobile game I’d say this holds up very well. The game runs on a turn based model (á la Civilization) but works with the time period and general theming of Europa Universalis IV. The game manages to balance the two very well and is probably the best we’re ever gonna get to EU4 on mobile.
However, I do have a few gripes with the game. First off, the game follows the domination-oriented end goal of Civilization rather than the world immersion of EU4, leading to most playthroughs becoming mere map painting rather than true experiences. On top of this, the game is fairly prone to crashing every now and then, often for no particular reason.
Don’t let this put you off, however! As mentioned before, for a pretty good price, you’re getting the closest we’ll ever likely get to Europa Universalis IV on Mobile.

Despite the sometimes glitching, zooming out too fast, and all that, it’s genuinely an amazing game. Games in this style are hard to find on mobile, and when you find them, they’re deeply terrible, except this. The detail that has gone into every province and all the modes is immaculate. Also, I love the detail of the Soviet Union randomly declaring war and invading you with no warning, it is little things like that which make this game so addicting and perfect.

Let me start off saying that I do like this game, or at least, I like the idea of it. A grand strategy game for mobile is a dream come true for me, and I think a lot of the mechanics work well.
My issue with this game is the lagging, and the glitching, and the crashing. More or less every game I have started has been ruined by some game-breaking bug that ruins the whole thing for me. There’s a bug where the game will crash and when I reload it the civilisation I most recently annexed is still conquered but it’s territory is classed as being occupied instead of annexed. There’s one where it crashes and when I reload it seems fine until I find out it no longer lets me save, and there’s one where it crashes and when I reload it the screen will start flashing like mad the moment I press anything. I’m so sick of having my games ruined constantly by these bugs that I have decided that I won’t play the game any longer unless these issues are addressed. I hope the developer of this game sees this review and looks into the issue because it completely ruins the game for me.

I play this game a lot in my spare time, I enjoy playing it because it eats time and can be very interesting. The problem is it always freezes or crashes meaning I will lose a couple turns due to not saving and it becomes annoying as it happens frequently, if this was fixed it would be amazing!

The Game is great, I’ve unified Europe and I’m in the process of Conquering Russia, my issues are that countries with no points in a war in my alliance when I try and get a peace deal the Allies ALWAYS reject it and I have to go and conquer the whole country, which is very difficult when you are fighting a war and you are about to go bankrupt. Also the fact that my relations with certain nations are 100 but they won’t form an alliance even when I’m at peace.
If these are fixed then I’ll amend my rating to 5.

This game is great, you have no limitations and restrictions on what you can do. The war mechanics are simple yet so addicting. Bit there is one issue 90% of the mobile player base experience and that is crashing this game could be even better and all it takes is one update so please break the update drought and fix the crashing!

I love this game it’s amazing and all the things you can do is awesome but there’s just one frustrating thing. Ever since I’ve been playing as the United Kingdom to take over the world, when I started getting big as in right now I have Europe, Greenland and the top half of Africa it’s started lagging a load in between turns and then it just crashes so I have to keep saving the game every 10 turns then I have to reload the game so it runs smoothly. If you could fix this I would be very happy. Thanks ❤️ the game :D

I don’t usual leave reviews but this game is really good especially for people who don’t want to buy HOI 4. One of the features that stood out for me is the freedom of creativity and how it lets you create your own scenarios!

If you actually want to do anything on this game, you better save every single turn because whenever you save there is about a 1 in 4 chance of the game crashing and you losing everything you did since the last time you saved. It’s really disappointing because if this problem was fixed, the game would be an easy 5 stars, but like it is now, it is unplayable.

Brilliant game and I have to give credit to the developer for creating a great game. Any fan of Europa Universales will be right at home with this game.
However, that being said the game is lethal for crashing and can annihilate your save data and you can often lose up to 20-50 turns of gameplay.
Also I have encountered a issue where the diplomacy broke down when I was well into a scenario and every country started to display a neutral 0 for relations.
Please could the developer fix the bugs/crashing issues then I could rate the game at 5 stars and upgrade my review. I’d go as far to say I’d happily pay more and that the game is easily worth £7.99 rather than £2.99 if the above issues were resolved.
Thanks for a brilliant grand strategy game though Lukas, many more positives than negatives.

This is surely a brilliant game for a sort of version of hoi4 but then again there are annoying glitches like I was Germany took over all of Europe and Russia then the game crashes and I have to restart but in all it’s a brilliant game and I think to make this game the best it can possibly be is too add multiplayer and also a Cold War map and world war 1 map....all of that would make his game absolutely amazing and I may consider it then to be better than hoi4

I was worried about the reviews talking about crashes but I went for it anyway. For me, the game has not crashed at all. I have a new iPad Pro, which may help because I had issues with games with my old iPad that I am not experiencing now. Otherwise the game is great fun and I love both the complexity and the simplicity of it. Everything can be improved but, excellent effort, I give it 5 stars!

This game is amazing but has some problems like it crashes randomly sometimes which is very annoying and when I zoom in It doesn’t downsize the cites and other stuff. I got the scale 5 error and every time I try to load it it crashed half way through can anyone help me

Brilliant game, I love strategy games and this is one of the best for mobile yet, but, this game crashes frequently forcing you to save almost after every turn or lose your progress, really needs some work on the crashing side.
Is it worth buying? It would be if it didn’t glitch and crash as often but when it’s working top score.

Any fans of the Europa Universallis series on the PC will feel right at home with this game. Very similar to the Paradox games but easier to understand. I was shocked by the size of the map and how much detail has gone in.
The game does crash quite often but still deserves 5 stars. I hope the game receives updates in the future to fix these. Also I play on iPhone X and the camera/speaker at the top of the screen is in the way. It needs X optimisation.
