Zoom in feature

I am so pleased with this app. I need to delete backgrounds for product photos, which PhotoRoom does far more accurately and easily than any other program I have tried. I can finally place my sculptures in room sets
I have seen my fellow artists put their paintings in different room sets for a long time. I now can do the same for my sculptures- actually seeing them sit in a shelf and scale them - brilliant.

Time saver - worth the investment
After a few initial glitches with the app, I can wholeheartedly recommend downloading and paying for photoroom. I use to hand edit all background on my online listings on an ipad which would take hours out of my day - photo room takes about 5mins max to edit a batch of 100+ images. After fiddling around with the app for a while its easy to work and there are so many options on how to make your photos look better.

Sooo slow….
A worthless App to be honest… couldn’t find or open my photos at first, it had to have a second go at it. Then after simply tapping on a selected pic as instructed I thought the App had frozen it’s THAT SLOW..! It took forever to remove the background from a simple daylit portrait, then even more time to come up with the option of either plain white, black or transparent backgrounds… everything else is in the overpriced Pro version.
If it takes this long to offer up 3 simple backgrounds, how long would take to drop in an interesting background..? Too long I suspect.
I got bored and moved on.
It’s advert is very misleading, no way does it work that fast.

App constant crashing and deleting our templates
For a last year app was great but in about5-6 weeks we can’t use it at all… constant crashes, deleting our templates. I sent to developers videos with evidence of this issues and shows when it happening. We checked it on 3 different devices - iPhone X, iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPad Pro 6th Gen. Situation is so bad that for whole time customer service is trying to fix issue and now app is crashing when I am trying to send them message.

Adjust the date & time constantly!
I used the premium app on my Samsung device for the 12 months and never had an issue with anything. Cracking bit of kit, HOWEVER, I have since swapped to an iPhone and have NOT paid for premium this year as I cannot justify £50 for an application again.
What I have noticed under the free option (presumably), is that when I save my images the app sends across that the images dates are from wither end of March or beginning of April, when we’re in May! I have to manually adjust them instead.

Great when working.. but keeps crashing and is slow
It's a great app, great for white background. Works well on my iPad but when it comes to using it on the laptop it keeps crashing and freezing when I try and upload a picture. Unusable.
Now the only way is to airdrop from my ipad to my laptop and i need to do this for over a thousand pictures, one at a time. Ridiculous!

Use this all the time for my Pokémon Instagram account but as of today I cannot remove any backgrounds, or do anything on the app really, without it crashing. I’ve reset my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled etc. Nothing! :(

7Days Free Trial/ Go Pro Not Working after payment
I started a 7 Days free trial which work fine for 2 days, after this the app was prompting me to buy the full subscription and I couldn’t use the free trial anymore . After 7 days I bought the yearly subscription and it’s still not working, it’s still prompting me to buy the pro subscription.
For the 2 days of the free trial i was very satisfied with this app which is the reason i purchased the full subscription thinking it would work fine.
The app is still not working and continues to prompt me to purchase it.
There is also no easy way to contact the provider to resolve this issue

Beware of Free trial. They’ve charged me even tho I cancelled on time.
This app has charged me without my permission for 2 months. When I contacted them to cancel future payments and get refunds they just sent me to deal with Apple.
Apple couldn’t help because indeed I have cancelled my subscription so there was nothing to cancel there.
Anyway, a dead end that took me many many hours to sort out.
Finally I had to order my bank to stop the payments and PhotoRoom did absolutely nothing to help, so it gives me trust issues about this being an error or deliberate.
I reported them.

Problems using pro version on 2 devices
It looks that the app recognizes my account only on iPad. I am signed in with exactly the same account and yet I can’t use the pro version I’m paying for. Shame as it’s mainly the pc I need it for! Waste of money? Definitely wasting a lot of time now trying to make it work. Would have done it in photoshop already.

It’s a really quick app to use and amazing for the clothing items are hang up and random bits of furniture that I’ve been selling recently. Excellent app but bring back the old cut out editor
I have been using the app for a long time and I was really impressed with how the cutout tool was used. However lately there has been some changes to it and the use of the manual cutout is terrible - especially on jewellery which is the main reason I used it. Before it was much more sharp at picking up the silver and white but now I end up with missing parts of the jewellery and a lot longer editing which is a shame. Some of them no longer work in the app now and I’ve had to resort to other apps and also an editor to sort them. Big shame!

Easy to use with great results
I’ve been using free version, playing around with it to test out how well it works and how easy to save to photos. Great results at clearing backgrounds and a range of free themes to choose from. I might look at Pro version now, though don’t really have a need for it.

Best on the market.
Great app for resellers. I save so much time when getting photos ready to be listed. I don’t even need a back-drop anymore. The remove background tool is very accurate and even when it makes a mistake (which it rarely does) it’s as easy as a tap to erase or restore parts of the image needed. The only thing that irritates me is sometimes when I select a batch to upload (5 - 10 photos) it only uploads a few or none to the app so I then have to do it individually.

Probably best tenner I have well spent on the App Store.
Normally I use photoshop for all my major work, but this aids me and saves me a lot of time.
I am sand picking here still, Only issue I would fix is, to have the ability to fine tune mask areas as sometimes I had problem with isolating the subject when background and subject contains similar colour range (i.e person wearing white against light grey background). For me it’s not a major issue as I can fix them photoshop.

Do not like new batch function.
I really like the app but the new batch function isn’t as good as the last version in my opinion and increases the time it takes to edit photos. Pop up menu is annoying to apply to all and you have to click on the image to resize instead of pitch zoom without selecting the item. Selecting background is slower because I have to find it every time. It’s definitely increased the time I take to edit photos and reduced my productivity. It also seems a bit clunky the new interface and not as responsive. Please change it back 👍🏻

Recently discovered this app, and I have to say, it’s pretty fantastic, however, I can longer access the pre installed backgrounds. Whenever you select ‘replace’ it just takes you to your devices images. Please can we have this feature back? This is what stands you out from the completion! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hello! I am loving your app and am using it a lot for edits. I just have one issue recently, where I try to scan my photo to erase the background, but it stops and says I have poor connection.
I have reset my wifi, turned my iPhone off then back on, deleted then reinstalled the app, checked storage and tried to download older versions. I’m not sure what to do as I can’t erase anymore of my backgrounds.

Nice but too expensive
I like it and I would like to have it (without the logo). But the claim of “studio quality” is overstated. It’s fine for Facebook and eBay, that’s about it.
More importantly, it’s overpriced. For ten Sterling per month I can get Photoshop plus Lightroom, two fully professional apps of great width and depth. I suggest three pounds per month or twenty per year, or thirty to own.

I wasn’t sure at first because it was removing part of my product thinking it was part of the background, but you only have to select cut image and it brings it back in.

It doesn’t remove the whole background and there is no option to delete what wasn’t removed. I was using bazaart before and with all its pros and cons it did better job so will stick to it. Also you upload imaged in bulk buy you can’t delete background in bulk and you need to delete one by one and save and keep remembering what you have done as the app doesn’t show which imaged you cleared. Also the price is not reasonable for such service at all.

Hello, I love this app so much because I’m a video star editor, and I like making edits and it takes too much time to mask and I just feel too lazy to masks it usually takes 30 minutes just to mask a photo for me but now it doesn’t even take that long, thanks to this app I don’t even have to worry about cutting out pictures. If your an alight motion editior, funimate, CapCut and so on you should get the app cause it really helps!

Text needs fixin!!
I really like this app, so easy to use and can make some great thumbnails for it.
However I noticed the last week that something has happened with the text. When changing the outline to the text it keeps reverting to white and when you change to another colour the size selected reverts to what is set as standard. So now I cannot have the text the way I want it, please please fix this issue!

A very nice app that does many things, it’s a shame they do not do something similar to the Pro version with a one off payment to download & use. The current Pro version paid for on a monthly subscription is more for business & regular use.

I have used this app for a long time and have just discover the the Manual cut out has changed and I think it’s going to make it harder to edit quickly - red for erase and green for add back is a nice idea but when I flick back to look at my progress it wipes the work and takes me back to where I started with no correction - the blue out lining is too complicated trying to help me edit but I can do that by eye - it’s editing it at this stage badly trying to copy a different outline - I’ve frantically started looking at other apps as I have loads to do tomorrow and no time to fiddle about - such a shame as it’s been fantastic up to now.

Insanely useful and easy to use app ! The free version has more than enough to play with and produce quality content.
The auto crop is fantastic, and the ability to manually adjust and change everything is phenomenal and incredibly easy to use.
I cannot praise this app enough!!!

PhotoRooom. So. Powerful.
This powerful software condenses all the desktop-class features of Big Apps (like Adobe Photoshop) into one app. It has great templates and much needed tools like auto-remove-background.
I would really recomend this app to someone who wants a free, easy to use photo editor. Well done developers!

Fantastic app and excellent customer service
This is one of the best apps I have ever used, the templates are excellent, the output is quick and fantastic and the only time I raised a support query when I swapped devices especially on a Saturday, the team responded with a solution instantly. Fantastic app and service, please keep it up.

Time Saver. Worth it!
This is my first review of any app after being an iPhone user for the last 7 years and this app deserves my time to write a review. If you value your time then this app is for you. I use it for my online businesses and editing can be time consuming task but not for this app takes approx a minute to take a good shot and uploaded on your website or e-commerce channels.

Great on tablet, bug on iPhone.
On my iPad, this app is truly the best thing available to quickly edit pictures and so easy to use. Absolutely superb functionality.
Unfortunately on my iPhone, though I can select a background and an image, I can’t actually see the image I’m creating until saving it, making it a guessing game... not ideal. And I really want to use it on my phone more than on the tablet!
If that can get fixed ill certainly be updating this review to 5 stars in stead of 3 right now.
In communication now. Added a 4th star already for quick response and great communication, fingers crossed the bug can be fixed!

This is life changing!
I downloaded this app after seeing it recommenced by another eBay reseller, but it wasn’t until I watched rockstar flippers video review of it, I decided to open it and see for myself what the fuss was about. I’m so glad it did! I had some ugly photos on eBay that I thought I would need to re take but this app has let me cut out the horrible dark background and made my photos pop! with the white. Thank you! And thanks for having it free!
