My partner signed us up at a club with a joint membership so are both members on her account. On the website we can switch between us, but can’t see how to do this on the app. It just defaults to her.

So much better!
Since the latest update, this App is fantastic. It’s so much easier to use and there’s no more white screen. I’m a member at different clubs that use ClubRight too and it’s easy to switch clubs. The images really make it look premium too 💪

Bad update
Used to be able to see how many were in a booked class/session. Since the update this isn’t possible so no idea if the pool will be full or not. Very frustrating.

Could be much better
I have been using this app for over a year now and found some major flaws.
1. When you have multiple memberships, it is difficult to switch between clubs (this may have been addressed in the latest update)
2. The app has forgotten about one of my clubs so I have to be signed in manually - defeating its purpose.
3. There is no option for cancelling a membership or sending a cancellation request.
If not for the above, this would be a decent enough system.

Rubbish App
This app is terrible. So hard to use and navigate. When on the waiting list for a class and you select that class to check where on the waiting list you are it roves you! Doesn’t automatically add you to the class when a space comes up! Terrible app needs to be completely changed to be user friendly.

Awful app
How people use this app I don’t know! It’s so hard to use, not simple and definitely not user friendly especially for older people who are not so tech savvy! Book to join a waitlist you select class to see where you are straight away removes you from the waitlist and have to rejoin. Does automatically add you to the class when a space comes up! Absolutely rubbish and far too complex to use! Need to look at other gym apps and see how simple and easy they are to use and adapt this app, as I’m not paying a gym membership I cannot book onto classes so would have to swap gyms! Sort it out and simplify it!!

Easy to use
I’ve been using the ClubWright app to manage my gym membership, and it has made the whole experience so much easier. The layout is clean and easy to use which makes browsing and booking classes simple. The app sends me reminders of upcoming session, which has genuinely helped me stay consistent with my routine. Cant switch clubs in-app
I cant believe after installing and uninstalling the app and deleting data so many times, it still doesnt allow me to switch clubs within the app, it instead always reverts to a very old club I no longer use.

Really bad app
In almost 2026 it’s insane seeing an app like this from an established company. I use this app to manage my gym membership and book gym sessions and every time I log on to it I get so frustrated. The layout is poor and not user friendly at all, pretty sure it breaks quite a few applications development guidelines as well. There is no way to book multiple classes at the same time without having to go back to the main screen and restart all the process. Most pages aren’t responsive, which is ridiculous considering this is a mobile application.

Log out / app doesn't load.
Regularly now I find the app doesn't load, is lagging or logs me out for no reason. It's become more apparent recently that I open the app, clear the app and open again to a blank white screen. Several times I have had to close the app and I am still getting the same issue when I open the app. Thought it might be because an update was needed but turns out not the case!

Awful mechanics.
The app logged me out for no reason. I can’t login because I don’t know my password. When I click ‘reset password’ it just goes back to the login page & I don’t receive any temporary password.

Irritated constantly
I have previously registered with a gym that uses this app. It was a temporary membership. I then joined another gym that used this app. I can’t get rid of the old one and often it logs me into the old gym and I can’t gat back to switching to the gym I now use. It’s highly annoying. I have to delete the app and reload and even then it doesn’t always work.

Badly designed app.
Not too sure what the purpose of the app is? Doesn’t do half the things it says it does. But very concerned that you lose control over your profile info and are not allowed to update or delete it. A very bad data protection policy. Avoid!

It works, after all fashion. It’s fiddly and a faff, not easy to use at all. The user interface could do with simplifying. Making icons/text bigger would also help.

App just booted me out, again. Reset password won’t send the reset link. Called my club and was told there was a system upgrade, delete and reinstall app, all that done and attempted to reset and error message says my account can’t be found I must contact my club.😣. Worst gym app ever if I must say

Helps me keep organised and get to my classes
I really like the app. It’s a great way to enable small business to offer an app to its customers, without the need to build and maintain one itself.
The email confirmation allow me to easily manage the bookings in my calendar, so my alarms remind me to turn up.
I’m really pleased with what it gives me and it’s much easier than using a website all the time.

Clunky and slow
Functionality basic but serves purpose and reliable. If it was a car it would be a Lada. User interface could be easily improved with processing icon to avoid multiple attempts at asking it to do something. No option to switch on/off notifications

Could be a good app, but the qr code system to open the door at the gym is useless. Never seems to open and neither does the code. Can be stood there for a while waiting. Would be better to use a barcode then qr code or just the pin but done better

Who’s high school coding project is this
My Pilates studio started using this app instead of a wonderful one they had previously and it could not be more useless. Terrible UI, no calendar integration, it doesn’t even look like an app, just a browser window. Please do something about it or hire better devs, it’s completely unusable

Unusable if you change gyms
I previously used the app when I was a member at a different gym. Just signed up to a new gym and the app does not let me log in to my current club. It has the front page for my old gym (which actually doesn’t even exist anymore) and there is no way to leave that front page and choose my current gym. I think something was overlooked during the app development - surely I am not the first person with that issue.

Which genius came up with this?
I must commend the skill with which the developers of this have worked in order to develop such an extraordinary bad app. So few people take the time these days to make things more complicated than they need to be. It is most refreshing to finally find a group who buck this trend with such a high degree of expertise. Not for them simplicity and user friendliness. Who wants that? Much better to complicate things beyond all comprehension. Surely a statue will be erected in honour of such incompetence.

I think user experience was low or absent when designing this. Forced into using it for our local gym, it looks awful, provides all the basics for club management at the lowest level of functionality, not something I’ll ever use unless I have to when told by my gym, otherwise I’d delete it now.

Terrible terrible app
I never write reviews but since I’ve just spent 30mins of my life I’ll never get back trying to book a swim session I thought I’d waste another 5 on a review. If you want to book multiple family members for the same session you have to book AND PAY for each separately! Takes forever. Clearly designed as a website, screen often fails to resize appropriately so you’re scrolling around looking for the content which is squished into one corner. I would give it zero stars if that were possible.

Dead as a dodo since ClubRight did an ' upgrade' the app won't open on my iPhone SE. I have raised issue through my gym who have passed all technology details to CR to no avail. ClubRight have had four weeks to resolve but still no joy. Don't join a gym with ClubRight if you have an iPhone SE 2020. It won't work for you so you can't log in/put or book classes. Hopeless.

App just says no connection
When opening the Clubright app, it immediately displays the logo of my gym but says “a connection is currently unavailable, please try again later”. The gym say it’s my problem on my phone and I've emailed the app developers, without reply. I’ve swapped to a different phone but still the same issue. With no app working, no support from my gym and no support from the developers, I'm stuck with no way to access my gym.

Functionality is basic. Lot of improvement to be had
So much worse than our old gym app. Lots of unnecessary emails. No way to add to calendar from the app. No way to add classes/sessions to favourites. Class list is clunky design. Difficult to scroll through and find sessions. The app often doesn’t work if you had it open previously, I keep having to force close it and reopen. No in app notifications, only emails, which is very strange and outdated.
Also doesn’t work at all since the last update.

New to the app
My gym just started using the app. Functionally seems basic, but it seems to do the job. Seems unnecessary to receive an email confirming when a booking is made and messages reminding of upcoming bookings. These are unnecessary given the app clearly shows booking made. Unfortunate there is no way to turn off these email reminders/notifications. There should be the ability to amend in user settings/preferences.
Also needs to be the ability to mark classes etc as favourites which would speed up finding the events I want to book.
Overall basic and room for improvement.

My gym uses the app and it made my life so easy
My gym uses the system for couple of months now and there is a big difference in how I can book classes and navigate it- I can update my payment details and book and amend my classes.
My gym does loads of on demand content too and it is easy to access it though the app.

Club Right to run my gym
I have been using club right for nearly 6 months now as my software to store all details and more, It’s worked very well and the support provided by the help desk is second to none and very quick in helping whenever I don’t understand something, 100% would recommend to any other gym owners looking to really cut down on time spent counting numbers.

Great app but ….
The app is great and easy to use but once you’ve made a booking it’s impossible to cancel it which I found out for the first time today! Often I make a booking and see there’s only 2 spaces left for swimming and when I arrive there’s only a couple of people there. This is most likely because they aren’t able to cancel their booking when they can no longer attend which gives the impression the pool is full when in fact it’s not. A few times I haven’t gone because I thought it was full!

This app is hard to use, ugly, slow, counterintuitive, among other things. I hate this app so much, I am considering offering my gym to design and build them an app for free!
What I hate most, is that I am forced to use this app to book classes at my gym and the website is just as bad!!!
Whoever built this, needs to go back to the drawing board!!!

Rubbish!
If I could rate 0 stars I would! This App is awful! The only reason I keep it is because I have no other way of booking classes and accessing the gym without it. It logs me out all the time and often just goes to a white screen. I constantly have to delete and re-add to make it work - not very convenient at all!

This app only seems to work when it feels like it. Quite often when I’m using it the app its just a white blank screen so I have to delete it & go into the App Store to re install it & every time I have to login. I use it for my gym to check in but it works it’s great but 9/10 times it’s not working. Sorry if my gym didn’t ask us to use it to check I would never touch it let alone pay for it. Please improve it!!

Logged in when my gym asked me to download the app and it was fine. Went to check a couple of hours later and it’s just coming up with a page saying it’s sorry but there’s a problem. Had this message for 2 days now and it won’t go away. Not the only one to have issues with this app

Rubbish. My gym has recently joined the app. It is terrible. I struggle to book classes, when I get on the waiting list, I have to look out for an email to say I’ve got on it, but then I have to go on the app to accept it and there is nothing there to let you do it, so I lose the place.
It’s shocking ! I wouldn’t give it 1 star but you have to select something

The app would not let me log in and I was getting so mad, then when I complained about it to the gym, they checked and I was trying to login using the wrong email to what they had on the system, which explains why - I was unimpressed with the app initially, but now it works perfectly.

Joining was a breeze
I joined the club online first and I downloaded this App after that via the verification email I got sent. I then got a Push Notification welcoming me to the gym and it told me to claim my free protein shake on my first visit. Excellent service so far ❤️

New parental feature
The new parental feature is great, I go to a gym who uses this app and my daughter goes to a gymnastics club where they also use it too and I can manage everything from my app - it saves me loads of time.

Great App Overall I love it ❤️
At first I was a bit apprehensive to download the app as my friend said she couldn’t get it to work when she first logged in, but after I found that the club had told her the incorrect way of how to login as you are meant to use the unique link that the club gives to you and not just download the app first. Now i feel like it is one of the best apps around, it makes booking my classes a doddle and I can now purchase things like PT Sessions and additional classes that are not part of my membership in seconds, I can see when the club is quiet or busy, and I can even watch prerecorded classes on there if I decide to do a class from home, thank you ClubRight I love it xx

Terrible last update
Last version of app seemed fine, it didn’t look great but did the job. New version is a mess and is frustrating when it fails to work when you arrive. Old version you could just open the app and the barcode was there. Now you have to open the app and go on the check in tab and that’s 50/50 if your unique barcode comes on screen.

Another disgruntled user🥵as I do not have 13ios this app will not allow me to complete a booking only allow me to put in my basket and go no further. I am therefore paying a membership for a gym/spa that I am unable to use due to the app not working and not allowing me to complete a booking. Get this sorted not all of us have the latest I phone😡

Was ok but now unusable.
Worked ok (although a bit ugly and clunky) until the latest update and now it won’t recognise my log in details despite web version having no problems. Have tried all of the developer suggestions and still no joy. Hopefully they’ll sort it out. Very frustrating.

No longer working after update
Another unhappy customer, like others I found that the previous version did the job. Have tried to log in and the app says will only run on version 13 of iPhone and not 12.5.4 however the App Store says works on 10.0 and upwards, unfortunately this is my only way of booking into the gym so now I have no way to use my gym membership at all, or scan in for sessions, as required. Are the app developers going to refund my gym membership payments?

What have you done
I have only been using the app for one week, it worked beautifully was easy to understand and use.
Today it has changed and makes no sense, you go on the app for the timetable of weeks activities and it has gone, now there are only boxes which you have to click on which gives no information, you have to keep going backwards and forwards,
Total disaster. Change it back please.
