CareClinic is a game changer
CareClinic is a game changer. Setting it up was easy, and I loved how easily I could tailor it to my needs. The reminder feature is my favorite. It's been a lifesaver for keeping track of my meds and appointments. Since using CareClinic, I have been more consistent with my health routine and it's made a huge difference in my daily life. The app is super intuitive and I love how I can adjust it on the fly to fit my changing schedule.

Frustrating
Very frustrating to use as it constantly pops up asking you to upgrade to the premium subscription. The developer amusingly replied to a review 2 years ago saying they’re aware of this and are trying to fix it, which is clearly not the case and is intended behaviour.

In no way free
I have ME/CFS and am looking for a way to easily track my activity etc. for pacing purposes, I also experience brain fog…but honestly I still can’t see where it says that you only get the first month (or is it week?) free.
Again - brain fog and forgetfulness! These offers rely on a number of people forgetting to cancel - I can’t afford to.
Addendum - just received my first unwanted email, clicked on ‘unsubscribe’ - I had to do that annoying thing where I had to individually remove all the vendors I didn’t want involved in my activities (instead of decline all cookies) only to find the link took me to ‘page not found’ - so THAT’S going to be fun going forward!.

Great app, helps me keep track of my daily life as well as people I care for. Only fault is if you add new factors it may change all of the factors names and icons to be the same as the one you just created. Other than that it is an awesome app!!

Very buggy
Nice first impression but incredibly buggy. Symptoms that have been logged in my report suddenly appear in a different language (I suppose?) , I’d report on 4 different symptoms and it will logg them four times under the same name, sometimes the points are a random number. Completely useless unfortunately

Cannot use the trial
I cannot use the trial at all.
First of all it says 7 days trial. In the App Store it shows I am subscribed already to the trial but only for a day.
In the app no matter what I select (start trial or restore purchase) the app does nothing. Keeps asking to subscribe.

Ads are too much
The ads in the free version are excessive to the point I deleted the app.
You get 1 ad when you loas the app, then 20 seconds later when I log a symptom.
You have to click twice on full screen ads, each time, just to close them.
One to say close and another to confirm.
Needless to say, when you are logging things all the time, it becomes annoying,
I cut down use due to the amount, then deleted it after having enough.
Cut down the ads. I get you need an income, but stop spamming ads.
Pointless having free if you just spam constantly.
Put other ads or do something else.

The app just sent me here
I’ve had the app less than 2 minutes and it’s already demanded and email address from me then tried to make me pay twice before I even got a chance to see it actually operating (is it even what I need?) and now it has thrown me out of the app to this review screen. Enjoy my 1 star and bad review! Your app will now be deleted from my device. Also I was smart enough to give it a dud disposable email address when I asked, I’d suggest you do not give it your email address or even waste your time with it.

Bad business practices
Great App, Terrible company.
On three separate occasions I tried to upgrade my account and was charged each time but my account was never upgraded.
Hard to actually find a correct email address for customer services.
When I was finally able to get in contact with someone she was unhelpful and dismissive and told me 'someone' was 'looking into it'.
I heard nothing. I emailed again, she sent me back a rude unapologetic reply. Again said I would hear back.
That was 2 months ago!
Still no upgrade and £30 down.

No good if you want to use the free version
Really, there’s no point them having a free version because you’ll get a pop-up every time you press a button asking you to upgrade, it took me over a minute to put one medication on due to the pop-ups.
The price of the paid version would not be economically viable for my needs as I’d be paying for all the premium features when the free features are what I need. I would be paying simply to avoid the overly common pop-ups that get in the way.

Too buggy to be helpful
Dear developers. So I paid for a 6 month subscription to give it a good go, but sadly I’ve had to give up.
Appointments: despite setting the date as 1 week out they appear in the dashboard 1 week early and often are duplicated.
The check in process is confusing which leads to checking in multiple times by mistake.
The graphs when showing factors are confusing and show the latest too far to the right to be readable. Plus what are they actually showing? This is especially true of medications (I take 7 pills each day) and the graph is going up when I would have thought it would be flat.
I notice that you’ve recently updated the journey / flow to be easier. Appreciate Ui design is never easy on an iPhone, for me it’s just too complicated to go back and forth and find what your looking for.
Care plans: it took me a week to realise I’d created 5 care plans by mistake with partial meds in each. I eventually realised when the dashboard kept showing only a few med reminders. I then had to start again to do it properly which meant I lost a weeks worth of diary data. Maybe you could update the onboarding journey to make it clearer. Once you’re in the app for the first time you don’t expect to be creating more than one care plan and it’s not clear that you actually are when you do.
I do think it’s a great idea to have more than one care plan for some people, but perhaps this could be indicated by selecting by person when you open the app so you know where you are.
It is important to be able to delete care plans I think. This is especially true as they appear to corrupt reminders and appointments across plans. Given I had to delete every entry in each to get the app to work correctly, you might just as well give us the option.
Anyway, I’ve paid a 6 months subscription till July 2022, but have deleted the app as it’s too frustrating for me.
It was worth the subscription to give it a good go, but sadly not for me.

Not a medication tracker
I was looking for an app to track my medication but couldn’t use this as needed to list every detail under the sun and couldn’t move forward without inputting a caregiver which I don’t have.

I downloaded so this would remind me when to take medication and it doesn’t. Also difficult to navigate and find your diary entries at the beginning unless you look for them in depth

The apps okay but I would like somewhere to track bowel movements (other than notes), and if the app could somehow show what foods/stressors agrivate symptoms.

Health manager
Very helpful in helping manage health issues, I didn't even know I needed a health diary. My outcomes although haven't improved, but this helps me keep everything in order. I do wish it was a bit more customizable, for example, not all of us need mood tracking functionality, not all of us care ot measure total calories a day or sleep, some of us only need to track pills, symptoms, and keep notes.

Women’s Health Invisibility
This helps track many aspects of my health and I enjoy the diary function. Very disappointed that there is no way to track the days of your menstrual cycle and the associated symptoms. The impact of hormones on women’s bodies and brains can present in ways that only become apparent once tracked over a period of time. Hormones impact on mental health and can have complex interactions with many medications. To omit these vital pieces of information from a ‘health care’ app seems absurd to me.

Pretty good app
CareClinic is helpful most of the time. Honesty I haven’t used it that much, but when I have, it usually gives me the diagnosis I’m expecting, like the common cold, which is relieving.

Good, but lacking features
At £60 per year, I'd expect this app to be pretty polished. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to rename or delete care plans, to rename meds, or to clear data. Having deactivated my account, it's not possible to create a new login with the same email.
Finally a pet hate - the use of the American flag to represent English. If Argentinians and Mexicans can use the Spanish flag when choosing Spanish, then I'm sure Americans can use the British flag when choosing English.

Varied and great quality offerings
I’m very pleased with this app. The variety of different types of activity (meditation, music, story, inspiration) is good and their narrators and artists are great quality with some famous names in there too. In the month I’ve been using it I haven’t become bored or uninspired yet.
