Description

Mileage Logbook is designed for company employees and self-employed people to simplify mileage logging for expense claims and tax-deductions.
AUTO TRACKING
Mileage Logbook automatically tracks you when you are driving, cycling or using public transport. If you wish you can simply disable it's auto-tracking option and start/stop your journeys manually. Or you can use both options at the same time.
You can also connect the app to your vehicle's bluetooth, handset bluetooth, or Apple CarPlay. This option ensures the app only tracks for your selected vehicle and not journeys in other vehicles.
LESS BATTERY CONSUMPTION
Mileage Logbook is designed as a battery friendly app. It can accurately track journeys without draining the phone's battery. Here is how:
• Once your journey comes to an end it stops tracking and creates a trip log.
• It stops consuming your location data once you have finished your journey.
• It consumes your location data when you walk but only if it receives a new GPS update. This process is less frequent than the journey tracking.
Battery Use Disclaimer:
Please keep in mind that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Reports & Mileage Rates
Mileage Logbook automatically updates your monthly and annual reports when you review a journey. The reports can be customised and can be generated as PDF or Excel format for your accountant.
When you install the app your mileage rates will be the standard flat rates set by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). However, you can at anytime edit these rates with an easy one tap -> edit process on the app.

Tracks journeys very well

I have to admit there is a serious engineering or whatever it is behind this app. It doesn't take space on my phone and tracks journeys very well. The only problem is you shouldn't touch the phone while driving for a long time. Otherwise it ends the journey. I all the time check my phone at the lights and/or in a traffic. If you don't like touching the phone while driving this app is the best option for you guys. Maybe I am asking too much I don't know. I am still thinking to subscribe as it does record quite accurate.

So easy to set up!

This app doesn't deserve it's current place on the list! I have been using Mileage Logbook for around 3 weeks and the journeys have been accurately recorded. Also my accountant approved it's mileage reports. Highly recommended

Great app

Finally I found an app that tracks my journeys accurately! It doesn't track when I am walking only travelling in a vehicle. In traffic jams it didn't split my journeys. The reports are easy to read.

Straight Forward to Use

Easy enough to use and like that it doesn’t use much storage, only 20mb. Straight forward to link to the car Bluetooth too!
