Over my years of playing farming simulator, this is the best one I’ve played yet. I have played 14,16,18 and 20 so far but I like this one best.

Crashes On Starting

I’ve just started playing this and hit a problem.
It’s started raining which denies you from harvesting and it won’t stop! I can’t continue playing. It’s been like this for several hours now .
I could start another game but would mean starting from scratch.

Great graphics, but annoyingly hard to earn money.
Story: I bought a million pounds for £2.99, and bought a cotton harvester, only to find out that there is only one cotton field, and you can’t change the crop. Also, one potato field, one sugar beet field. They’re just scamming you to spend money on buying all these different combines. Impressive step up from 18 though…

Great effort
It’s amazing how well the game runs and quality of graphics. It’s a shame it’s just the one map however. Nice if they added one or two more even if they were £0.99 to purchase. It would be worth it. However the fun is there and the gameplay runs smooth. Worth it in my opinion.

I got a bit bored on Fs 18 and 16 but once me and my dad got this game my boredom had completely disappeared all my boredom was gone it’s so fun and in my 6 weeks holidays at school the game I’ll be playing is Fs 20 i love this game so this is now my favourite game ever

The game is great I think it just needs a medium sized fendt and Massey tractor, and a bigger Valtra. It also needs a telehandelar for picking up bales that would be a lot more fun. Finally I think it needs a machinery shed or two. Overall great game I give it a rating 7/10

It is a wonderful game more realistic that all the other farming games but it would be so much better if there was an update where we could turn the beacons on and if we was given the John Deere harvester rather than a new Holland harvester but other than that it’s a great game to play but it would be so much better if we had more cars rather than the pick up truck

Big improvement can do with some more tutorial/manual
It is a big improvement from the previous versions and while it could do with some ironing out graphically, my main issue is that there is little to no manuals or help on most aspects of the game. You are only taught basic arable farming and you have to figure everything else out by Googling yourself which is not good. Most of the forestry or animal care is still a mystery for me and it is a bit overwhelming.

What I wish
I don't know why, but when I want to cut the grass that grows alone on the hill with the mower, the color on the map changes to a light blue! Why this is happening, I have no idea. I would like this problem to be fixed. I would not like to delete partition A because I bought 2 million coins. And as a novelty in this game, I think that some buttons would be useful to indicate: left / right signaling, headlights, front / rear lights, and lastly the radio would be great. thank you!

Just a little wish
Really great game great to play and you just don’t want to put it down. If anything I would like to see a update where the tractor s etc have better lights for work in the dark as seeing is hard also the ability to be able to switch lights on when ever on use with mobile phones and indicators becons to be able to turn on and to be able to take grass to bio gas plant with forage wagon instead of only being able to use biogas plant with a self propelled forager. Also the way bales explode when trying to unload them and the fact you can’t make hay bales and store them it doesn’t accept them in your barn as a result I have one stuck on the barn roof and no way to get it down, iv come a long way spent money for coins to buy kit so restart isn’t even a option as I would loose everything I spent money for, and it would be great if we could get mods and new maps to keep this game fresh and stop it getting mundane and stale . Hopefully enough people agree with me and we can get to see new maps and tractors and machines.
Also it’s amazing how much difference in amount of crop you get so much more if you muck spread then use the subsoiler but you have to use manually because the muck fertiliser the field so the bednar won’t work with a worker because it also adds fertiliser, and won’t work without fertiliser with worker either. Those are the only glitches I have found after over 90 hours of play, but i do hope that we stop being left out from the rest of the farm sim family by not having mods available especially when the whole feel and look of this game comparison to 14,16,18 brought us closer to our pc and console brothers and sisters,

A great farming game but..
The graphics on this game are amazing don’t get me wrong but, the shop could be better like change colours of machines and have Masseys in the game also I think more maps to be added and multiplayer around the world would help a lot but overall a great game and buying cash should be added to all worlds in my opinion as if it gets corouot you have lost money but all in all great game but just needs more machines like tellyhandlers and other things like front loaders more tractors and stuff like that.

Farming Simulator 20
There’s no plough to extend a field, there’s no way of chopping down trees so that the tractors can work without hindrance, there’s no roller to adjust the width or length of a field, E.G the end of field 4, the harvester leaves patches of grain because it can’t get to the edge of the field to cut it, field 1, the seeder gets stuck on the end of the field to the right of the farmhouse as it turns to the left to go back to seed the rest of the field, in the proper game, we can put up a fence so that the tractor will do a reverse turn instead of trying to go over a mound and in F S 19, I can use the ground edited to fatten or smooth out the land where this is a problem.
Any notices that come up for buying cows when passing the shed in a tractor and empty trailer should pause the game even though a special trailer for carrying livestock should be the only tool for bringing the notice up in the first place, alas the tractor kept on going and ran into the seeder on field number 1 at that precise time and smacked it off course.
Give me the original game anytime, the only thing this game is any good for is passing time, I have a lot of that at the moment being furloughed.
In all I find the automation a pain in the backside.

Good game but considering the prince of the game itself and the device I play on wouldn’t be expecting faults, however I have had problem after problem with trying to get my animals to breed (4 week after purchasing my cows and not a single one had bred) and these grey squares keep popping up all over my map. I am also having problems uploading my game to the cloud, I have reported all this to The developers but again weeks later and no reply or problem solved.

Excellent except the last update
Superb game that I spend many hours playing, so much fun and a simplified gameplay experience compared to console/PC versions which in some ways is not a bad thing. Loses a star because of the last update which was really quite bad. The new bale trailer doesn’t unload properly and there are now graphical glitches with the way the ground is displayed that weren’t there before. Once these issues are fixed it will be back to 5*! Hey Giants, test your updates better before releasing them as there is no going back for users!

Hours of fun gaming
I love this game it’s one of the best and play it all the time however I have found lately there seems to be a wee bug or something ! When unloading the bailer trailer the bales fly every where it’s frustrating can someone have a look at this ! Still 5 stars as it’s a great game and the best farming simulator on iOS

This game is great but there are some bugs that still need to be fixed, like the bales flying all over the place while unloading, I would like to see active mirrors when driving in cab view, need to see what that trailer or implement is doing behind you, scenery is a massive improvement over Fs18 and walk mode is a very nice addition as is the ability to ride horses, all in all well worth the price.

I love playing this game but the few downsides to this is that it looks like you have a-lot of land but you only have like 20 fields to buy so that my first one
The second one is that there is barely and machines well i say there isn't much but there is quiet a-lot but they could add SO MUCH MORE!

Farm sim 20
I play both farming simulator 18 and 20.
The graphics are a little better on 20 the fields a little bigger.
The controllability is much less than 18.
The equipment is less played one years ago could put up wind mills and all for extra profit .. 18 had forestry at least.
If didn’t know better would think the 20 is the the older version much less to do and much less control can’t send machinery to places that it’ll be needed, can’t send them to get washed, refilled all that.
Gimmick is you can ride a horse.
If debating with one to pick you’ll be happier with the 18.
Severely disappointed
Payed for the app and bought 4-5 of the million coin packs to get it up and running leaves plenty still needed to play for so wouldn’t advise spending too much to begin or what’s the point in doing anything if have a full reserve of money and everything straight away.
Love them sims just wish they had put more work in instead of planning it that people would spend and with the least amount of effort to make the game the most profit. Farm sim 18 could pick what colour truck you wanted etc too. So a lot less detail on the the newer version.

When I looked at the pictures it looks like those game what put nice pictures and then when u play it it’s trash but this one isn’t it makes me remember the times when people played / me to the farming simulator 2013,2015 and u know it 2017 all of those games are classic I remember when YouTubers made videos about farming simulator / they still do but u should try this game and it will make u forget about 2020 it’s a 5 star game like the other ones but maybe not 2016 not much tractors anyways thank u for reading this review and have a nice day farming if u wanna play

Sensitivity & more
Personally, I think it’s a good game although the only things that ruin it is: The sensitivity is really high and I’m not sure how to turn it down? I’d prefer to use a steering wheel when driving and I don’t have access to this?? I also prefer break and throttle pedals but those aren’t there either which I find highly disappointing when you pay £5.99 for a game only to find it’s not much better than Farming Simulator 18.
The animals and being able to ride the horses is really cool! I like that! But yeah definitely change the above and this game will get my 5* rating! In the mean time I rate it a 2*.
Also they’re are much more available on FS19 for Xbox - I.E forklifts and things and I think these should be placed on the app also!

Ugly map and terribly laggy gameplay.
I downloaded this game having been a fan of farming sim for a while now. It advertised what looked like a nice map with clean graphics and lots of machinery. In reality it was laggy the map was ugly and the vehicles were very basic with no customisation. I couldn’t even change the colour for gods sake. I would not recommend this game and would instead recommend the old game( Farming simulator 18) as a very good and fun game with nice graphics a nice map and lots of ways to change up your vehicles. Although there is not as much to do in fs18 it is way more enjoyable to play than this game.

Great game I love it so much but there’s only one thing that the fuel is not reilistic which is kinda annoying and one other thing we need a front loader in this game with a flat bed trailer to load the bales on.
Also we need MORE tractors combines and more cars and stuff because when all my tractors and combines are working I like driving round in my pick up truck (which don’t get me wrong is a great car) but we need more.

Great game
Love the fs series. Only really started playing when 19 went free on PlayStation but can’t put it down. Really enjoyed playing 16 on mobile as it was free as well. Though I’d purchase this one and was not at all disappointed. My only gripe is that the auto drive function for selling and cleaning etc has been removed. I really liked that as It meant I could do the actual farming work and let the worker do the hauling.

Bug where screen spins continually
Like this game but we keep getting a bug. You’ll be driving along nicely then suddenly the viewpoint starts spinning around and around. If you exit the game to the menus, the selected option then also just spins around and around. The only option you have is to quit the game then re-load, which cures it for another 10 minutes...... but it soon gets frustrating.
If I can provide any info to the developer we’d be happy to do so to get this fixed, probably 4*s from my 5 year old if this annoying and quite massive bug wasn’t present and very disruptive to gameplay.

Pretty good so far
I like how realistic it is with over 100 different vehicles to choose from. Can be a little slow at the start but after playing for a week or so more things are needed to be done so keeps you busy. Tutorial could be a bit longer and show how to do more things. But overall I really like the game.

Awesome game but needs work
The game is great but it has some glitches which need working on for example the workers do not use lights at night which I find very annoying because when you go to empty the harvester with the trailer it is hard to see the harvester also I would like to increase the amount of light the vehicles give of. Waste of money
I have played farming sim19 on Xbox quite a bit and when I found that I could getting a mobile version for farming sim 20 but I was merely impressed as you can’t walk about on the map you can only stay in veichle’s. The veichle’s that can be bought have been limited and on every new game you are immediately given a plot and some basic equipment you are unable to tree farm and I found that doing tasks are much harder I believe the mobile version is an utter waste of money and I would love to be able to have a refund

I really enjoy playing this game it is a lot more realisticOn the iOS the one thing I do dislike is that in farming simulator 18 we had the option for a round Baylor and a front loader tractor that is the one thing I do not like about FS 20 is that we don’t have that option but for FS 21 I think a way to make the game just so much better is by adding a front loader tractor a telly handler as well it will just be so cool and as well I think you should create map like we have on the Xbox farming simulator 20 because the farm is just a lot better The one thing I have noticed that there was only one thing off is that there is only one bomb on if it’s 20 which doesn’t give you is realistic farmlife I think if you could add these things that I’ve said game will just be amazing

Very good, but can improve
I really like this game. I think FS20 is better (but different) to FS18, but I do like them both for various reasons.
To the developer, it would be good if the following can be reviewed/added please:
1) Still some glitches when using the app, in that the frame skips, so it’s not as smooth.
2) Make it possible to chain link trailers/tippers, like in FS19, as this does not seem possible to do in FS20.
3) The rain, although annoying sometimes, could do with having an option to switch off the weather.
4) Add the option to hire a worker to deliver grain to a silo/shop.
5) Add more realism to the game i.e. vehicles need water, oil to run, and maybe a periodic service/tyre changes based on mileage?
I will still keep playing this game, as I do like it.

Farmer jiles
The games good but there’s things you can’t do in this one that you can in others like logging have helpers to help you do like on this you can’t have helpers doing the bailing of hay you should be able to load the back of the pick up change the colour of vehicles you should be able to hire people to help
With your live stock because I find I don’t get time to ride horses or look around it’s about different if there was another update where you could do more and just a few things off my list il 5 star it

Bring the steering back!
This a great game, more involved than the previous, which is great as that (FS18) became about a routine. The limited workers here creates a different problem which has now been resolved with the ability to change the time scale, perfect. The detail in the machines, of which I have real life experience of is impressive, amazing in fact.
I’d give you 5 stars if it wasn’t for the meddling with the steering in this update, I’ve tried altering the sensitivity to counter it but it just seems so irresponsive and slow. Please can I keep all the changes you have done and give the steering back so it realistic again?

So satisfying
One of the most pleasing mobile games I’ve ever played. A well thought through mixture of slow methodical manual effort and grander strategic automation. It is simple in the basic contracts and vastly complex once you get into the macro management of your stock, economy and crop rotation. There is plenty of depth to enjoy here and I’ve personally found it very relaxing during the COVID lockdowns. My only tip for the developers would be to have more information in the help pages and perhaps more tutorial options for some of the items you only start to progress onto later in the game (such as animal management). Thanks for a great game and a decent last update too. Keep them coming!

Great game
I read some of comment and saw so many hates. However, I ignored all of them and still downloaded the game and it was what I expecting!
Graphic are great, game play is fun and works so smoothly I get 60 FPS without drop sweat. However, after playing for 15mintues my battery drops down faster than any apps for example in 1 hour I lose about 20-30% which is too much in my opinion compare to call of duty mobile. Also the rain is too long and does not let you harvest your crops so I had to drive around for good 30 minutes before being able to play

Gutted
Really disappointed with the game.
I’ve been playing FS18 and just fancied something new so thought i would finally give 20 a go. I can not believe how bad this is compared to 18!
The good points, and there really aren’t many. The graphics look really nice and the map having hills etc looks great and a nice touch with machinery slowing to go up hill. But that’s pretty much it....
Having come straight out of FS18 I didn’t think I’d need the tutorial, how wrong I was. So I reloaded the game and did the tutorial and it helped.... for about 2 minutes as that’s the extent of the tutorial. After that your on your own as the in game help and guides online are incredibly poor. It was a struggle doing pretty much everything. The lack of AI to take crops to be sold or move machinery around the map is infuriating. I kind of understand the reasoning being to slow everything down which would be okay if the actual game play was any good. Moving any machinery is completely different to previous games and not enjoyable at all if you have to go to the other side of the map and back just to sell goods.
I’ve played for barely an hour and for now, until major changes are made, I won’t be playing anymore. I wish I could get a refund..... so disappointing

Step backwards in gameplay
So far the graphics are horrible on anything but the high end tablets and very difficult to set the camera in a good place without knocking it out of position. The steering is very difficult compared to the FS games. Lots of things missing compared to FS18 making the game not as enjoyable, yes the map is better but at the expense of the game play, definitely not a upgrade over FS18 in my mind. I spent days playing FS18 but hardly touched this game as it’s so backwards to play. Some serious updates needed to get back to the same level of gameplay as the previous versions. Overall I’m very disappointed after being very excited for this version!

Really loving the farming life.
A qualified well done. I had a lot of fun with fs18, but in truth got a little bored with the repetitive game play and just racking up the $millions, with nothing left to spend it on. Fs 20 is just fab. I take little drives to look at the scenery, this is stunning and really uncanny in its realism. Not having so many of the activities automated means you have to stay very hands on, I wasn’t sure about this at first, but now appreciate the thinking behind it. Having weather that impacts on the harvest is just genius and heightened the realism. Lots of people have commented on the great graphics and I would agree. I did pay for some extra spending money, but given the low cost of the game, I have no problems with that.
The are a few bugs in game that hopefully will get sorted out. For instance, suddenly finding that the ‘helper’ option is not available and having to restart the game to get them back. I have had some spectacular crashes, but just driving on sorts things out. I saw one review suggesting sensitivity controls for stealing, this would be helpful.
I’m really looking forward to playing on and utilising all the crops and animals. I highly recommend this game even though it has some irritations.

Love it but
This game is great and I love it, but I think you could optimise it for the iPhone XR more. I just have these boarders around the app screen. I know you can’t really have it extending beyond the notch, but at the bottom and right of the screen, it could be extended slightly, just a little suggestion.

Meh
Big fan of this game so far the graphics in This version are ten times better than any others however the gameplay is somewhat lacking. Maybe you were planning to add it in updates or something but more equipment and activity’s are needed such as a front loader and the ability to harvest and sell timber using saws etc. Also maybe add the ability to adjust steering sensitivity as the slightest bit to much one way and the whole trailer can just jackknife and topple.

Frustrating
Been playing for a week now and frustrated at the cost of equipment in comparison to how much money you get back for the produce i.e forage harvester £515,000 take a huge trailer of chaff to the biogas plant and get £3000 for it!!!
Took me a long while to work out how to keep animals & all the different equipment you need to keep animals as the tutorial is very basic. For someone who has never played FS it’s been a tough learning curve of wasting money on equipment that isn’t really needed.
You will have to buy coins if you want to progress otherwise write off a month of your life just to get anywhere.
The game has grabbed me but it does need some improvement, knowing what I know now I probably wouldn’t buy again unless changes are made.

Some issues
The game is really good and the graphics are amazing. Although there are some underlying issues to do with this game.
1. My progress keeps getting deleted... I don’t know why but I’ve wasted a lot of time starting over because my farm gets removed.
2. There is no reset button! The mower has tipped over and there is no way to get it back up right...
3. It is virtually impossible to earn a decent amount of money without spending 600 hours on the game.

Super! But I feel more machinery is needed.
I’m giving this 5 stars because I think, out of all the apps out there, this is definitely one of the best and an improvement over FS 18 but I feel more machinery is needed. At least one more combine harvester and much more equipment in general. We have lots of tractors and not enough things to use them with. Also I feel front additions would be useful for the tractors as right now the $ 70,000 bale collector is really all we have to pick up bales. Also the edition of tree cutting would be a big plus as well. That being said, it is a tremendous game and I thoroughly enjoy playing it. Keep up the good work. I feel in a few updates time it could be just outstanding.

Crop rates
There is many things so good and many things bad.
Good things— looks natural, vehicles speed feels fast rather than fs18, Feilds big,
Bad things— crops rates so bad, it very less price, every crop should be start from $1500, crop graphics looks not good rather than fs18, and signs of crop as well bag like a little child drowning, not mills giving extra price rate like in fs 18 1.9 times prices, Not auto drive option for sale. Roads are so wide.

Awesome but not there yet...
It is absolutely great , but, there is no access to in-game purchases. So I highly recommend buying this because it is definitely the best one I have played ‘cause I’ve played fs14, fs 16, fs 18 and now fs20 personally I think this one is the best. It is so realistic! The farming equipment is intensely impressive if you ask me. But, Giants, you need an update so you can do in-app purchases. So yeah download it and help Giants to release updates because a few updates and this one will be absolutely fantastic, perfect and just absolutely great. I honestly love 💕 this game it is absolutely great and to you out there you should buy it , it is just so great I cannot even explain how good it is. Like I said it will be perfect with a few updates...
That is all I have to say so Giants make it so farming dreams come to life.

Disappointing
I have 30hrs on this game, the rewards for your grinding are ridiculous. The yield from 4 fields of soybeans (fertilised) 29k. Seriously? That is less than half of a semi trailer (60k) from 4 fields!
Obviously the developers are going the same route as every other mobile game developer, frustrate the players enough so they will relent and buy coins in game just to be able to gain any sense of progress. But due to a back-end glitch in-app purchases are unavailable. LOL
Game is heavy on battery and when you consider the amount of time you will need to log, playing while charging is the only realistic option.
‘Realistic daylight & weather’ = night so dark that it is virtually impossible to see and there is no option to turn this off, the desktop version of the game allows you to go to sleep and fast fwd time to daylight. This version doesn’t allow that. But hey tractors have lots of fieldwork lights yet they only come on when the implements are activated. Yet you need to align the vehicle before you activate!
As for the weather again there is no disable option in settings or fast fwd time option. And today this was the final straw that caused me to delete this game. A real life rainstorm prevented me from going out so I logged into the game to kill some time only to find that a hailstorm in the game prevents you from doing stuff too. So there is your realism!

Overheats and other issues
Over heating my phone so limits play so much that I can’t even finish a field.
In app purchases aren’t available yet which makes buying and upgrading kit very hard also the lack of AI help is silly, except for the flat map I much prefer FS18 so far. Hopefully a few updates are being sorted to fix the issues especially the overheating of the phone and the in app purchases.
Also the camera settings are terrible. Can’t recentre properly and lack of controls all over is disappointing

Not at the expectations for a 2020 game
Graphic is great, I can play at very high without any problem. I don’t understand why so limited vehicles, tractors and harvesters. Honestly most of the tractors I don’t find them useful because most of the tools require low bhp or high bhp. For example I don’t see why I should spend money on that John Deer of 300 bhp because I don’t have at what to use it. Most of tractors are very close in power. The harvesters only 3. Why? The game must be bigger? So what? I have 512 gb memory. There’s games with 3 times bigger memory then this game and are more fun and also for free. Honestly Giants you can do more then this. Right now FS20 is not worthing the money. Prices for crops are to low compared with FS 18 and we need too much time to earn some money to make upgrades. Add more vehicles, tools and harvesters like in PC version, expand the map more, make it more exciting, bring it much closer of PC version. Make it worth. Cheers.

Certainlly different to all which is hard and challenging , was ready and expecting the same sort of version as previous , but that s not tue case no more ..6/10 camera angle pisses me off cause keeps moving about , which u didnt get on previous , it just stayed stiff ( only thing i would change is the camera or an option to stay in a good specific position )

Missing some previous elements
Good graphics and machines but there’s a lot missing from the game. No AI to take grain to sell. Camera doesn’t auto centre when you double tap the screen, instead goes to internal view. No easy way to recenter. No auto driver to move a vehicle to a waypoint. Tractors can tip over and there’s no way to reset without a lot of mucking about.
Game has so much potential but is let down by simple things that were in farm sim 18 and now not included.

Amazing game !!!!!
I love the compatibility with iOS the graphics are awesome and the fact you have can view is even better I’m looking forward to further iOS farming simulator games due to the amazement of this one I believe the fact that there are no bank loans makes it feel a bit unreal if they could add in bank loans to fs22 or even a future up date that would be amazing for all so this is an game and I hope you like it too

So far so average !
Bought this game due to all the hype , I’ll start with the good points , the game runs well and seems like the usual grind is in place to prolong the playing experience . The new terrain is great and beats the flat linear fs18 hands down and can’t wait To play further. Love the new and improved equipment graphics wise .
Now for the bad ;-
Game lags a lot , even on low graphics.
After playing for 6 hours on and off its destroyed one phone already due to the heat output just by playing for less than 5 mins . Now playing on a new tablet and the heat it’s produced over the last hour has rendered the power button useless so watch out for the heat!!
There’s no auto drive to sell goods / empty harvester
No hired help when using a wagon to pick up straw / grass / hay
No front-loaders of any kind
No multiplayer of any kind
No logging
Overall the games pretty decent , I was expecting a lot more not a lot less being the follow on from fs 18 but you cant have it all i suppose . Shame it’s destroyed my phone so will have to fork out for another one but with future game optimisation maybe it will sort it self out but ultimately still a phone down which I will have to foot the bill for unfortunately.
