New season a total failure.
This new season is the worst ever, last season I was Platinum and now I can not win a game , a single one, match after match I’m loosing. I deleted it, wasted of time and energy. People are doing lvl 3 champs at lvl 3 and I had at lvl 6 4 champs lvl 1. That’s crazy, RIOT FIX THIS SEASON.

Keeps getting worse
With Every update they do they make it even worse. Used to be so fun. It’s so unbalanced. The whole game is now just based of luck. It honestly feels like the game picks the winner before it even starts.
The last game I had I got 3-4 removers. Couldn’t get any items or anything. Struggling to find tier 1 3 star and I’m going up vs a guy with a tier 3 / tier 4 3 star. It’s just ridiculous.

I used to play with this game everyday, all day. But since this new meta is been update it’s no fun anymore. For example, too many group now with so bad skills and the dragons as well, what the hell what dragons they are??? And why?? Show me in LOL where are they? Its really good
The game is obviously very fun, the cleanest of all tactics games and seasonal themes protect it from becoming stale.
Im playing on a tablet and it finally recieved tablet support (so im not playing phone version), but with that came the over heating and battery drainage. Im on apple air 4 and this is the first time my tablet actually started heating up. Even diablo immortal doesnt drain my tablet. I hope this is something that can be optimised.

The new patch made this game so much worse as in players being able to have 4 champions of 3 starts while I struggle to get a 2 stars is so unbalanced that I can’t even get out of silver, I have to wait 4 stages to get the champion that I need and others just simply get a 4 tier at lvl 5 this is disgusting.

Great Game
I love the game, although my luck is so bad it’s enjoyable when you start winning. However, the main critique is that the mobile version feels very choppy and the UI is so big. It could do a lot better if it was redesigned for mobile (The UI), as it’s meant for PC. For example, you could make the heroes that you buy on the bottom but smaller, and tap outside the UI to close it easily. There’s so many things you can do to make the overall experience enjoyable.

This runs decent enough on Mobile but is not my primary choice for gaming. I love playing this on PC and would also like to play away from home. Sadly this is one of the very few games on my IPad which has to be stretched out and looks ugly. If Riot can be bothered to make it a native resolution like literally everyone else this would be an amazing improvement.

Good game but lacks communication
The game is good and everything. I’ve been playing it for 2 seasons now. My main issue is not having the ability to communicate with my teammate in double up when I’m on my iPad as there’s no chat, plus the lack of having iPad version of the game.

Still TFT but app needs polishing.
Love to play TFT on my computer no issues.
Most of the app works great, however there is a couple of issues that completely ruined the experience for me.
Number one and the main issue for me is how hard it is to grab the items you want from the champions roulette, the character movement feels delayed and clunky the roulette seems way too small but at the same time the hit box of the champions seem to be way too big, so most of the time you end up selecting the items you don’t want by accident, very very frustrating for a game like this.
I have an almost new iPhone 14 pro max and it just doesn’t seem to run smooth.
However not having high fps or character movement being clunky is something I’m not bothered at all compared to how frustrating are the roulettes.
I’m sure there is plenty of ways of fixing this issue, maybe separate champions more, fix the hit boxes, make the roulette not moving, make the roulette bigger, perhaps having a way of selecting what item you wanna go for rather than selecting the item by walking on top of it.
Whatever you guys do but please do fix that as for me just that thing ruins the experience.

Would be 5 if it wasn’t for the rondel
I used to love Dora Underlord’s but stopped playing as it wasn’t getting the updates/players. This gives the same game and i want to love it but I find that the wrong unit always gets selected when using the rondel no matter where I click. I’m playing on a 12” iPad and this is supposed to be a mobile game so I don’t see why this should happen. Not only that but when you are last going first in the selection should give you a minor advantage which is completely gone when the unit selection effectively becomes random.
Honestly I don’t understand why it’s a rondel at all and not a list of units with their items imo this would be far better for mobile game where you’re playing on a small screen with no mouse.
Sadly this puts me off playing at all because I find it too frustrating.

If you hate battery
If you hate your phone battery, play this game. Go from 100% charge to 0% in just 1 hour.
But seriously what is the battery consumption of this game. Each game consumes 35% battery. My phone gets so hot as well every time as well that I’ll just start lagging. Can’t even think of charging my phone or else my phone becomes a literal piece of molten metal and the game becomes a PowerPoint presentation. Even if I do charge, I still lose 25% battery per game.
I’ve played 1000s of mobile game. Yes 1000s and none even come close to this monstrosity. I’ve even played Wild Rift and I can play that game for at least 3 times as long before battery becomes a problem.
Not to mention a whole host of other issues with the port, such as not being able to see what traits of units do until you actually field them, especially important for Janna and the most basic UI in the world which looks like it was made 20 years ago.
I know you don’t care about mobile players Mort but come on. These quality of life changes will take a fraction of time that sets or even balances in that matter take and have been a problem since set 1.

Also begging for some wild rift level visuals. Play on the move!
I play LOL & TFT on PC & really enjoy both. Now I have my tablet it’s so easy to just relax away from the PC & drop into TFT games while keeping my progression on one account. This game has no benefit to PC over mobile or vice versa so it’s a really good fit.
10/10 would suggest for anyone who plays on PC or is looking for a fun game with some progression & a ranked mode!
ooo I almost forgot you can play with up to 4 friends while doing ranked. & 8 without going into ranked which is great for those with social groups who game.

Great game but terribly implemented on mobile
This is a great game, no doubt.
The issue is that’s it’s terribly optimised for mobile and lacks features of main PC game, this is made worse on iPad, where it’s not even full screen.
Such a shame as it has potential to be fantastic but the lack of care for the mobile version lets it down.

Amazing game, needs more mobile support
Been a fan of league and TFT for a couple years now, and this has become a game that I literally play any chance I get a spare 30 minutes.
It’s amazing! Sometimes champs are busted but the meta constantly changes, meaning you can learn different teams and ways to play.
HOWEVER.
The game is locked at 30fps, without any options to customise graphics, fps, or anything else, the only option you get is in game audio.
I’d love to see them add a couple options for us mobile supporters. Then it’d easily be 5 stars

Overall the game is great and it plays just the same as on PC. However, the app is buggy, crashes frequently (buy/augment button disappears) and sometimes kicks you out of games (cancelling your game/not allowing you to rejoin, and instead entering a new queue).

1. The game is unbalanced and largely dependent on luck. Even if you reach a high level of mastery, you will be frustrated because no matter how good you are; you will never win all games not because others are better, but because sometimes they get more lucky. This already makes it a poor game in the context of a competitive strategy win-loss scenarios.
2. However the game also is addictive. There is clearly a lot of effort put by the developer to maximize addictiveness and none that I can see in protecting users from addiction and mental health damage as a result of it. You would expect more from the largest(?) game developer in the world, but unfortunately they don’t feel much responsibility towards this clearly. In the end, the game will give you no improvement of life, but is even likely to over time damage you and deteriorate the quality of your life. You aren’t guaranteed to experience positive emotions when you play it, and more likely, it will be the opposite. This isn’t a sustainable way to spend your free time.
3. I suspect the small screen and how much is packed into it is also damaging to your eyes, I easily get headache after playing this and my eyes start hurting.

So I have been playing this since it came out and when it came to phone I was super excited. Can honestly say I have 0 gripes with it. From the Queue, the load times, the actual game play; I have had 0 problems. None. None that were the apps fault but user error. I have absolutely no idea why people would give this 1 star because there is nothing wrong, sure maybe the set isn’t fun but that’s not the apps issue, it’s just how the sets go.
All in all great game, great app, quick to respond and fix any bugs and cross platform which makes is 10/10!

Even deaf people can type and read
I mean the game is fine as i don’t really expect much from a mirrored game transplant, but (and this is a big but), is having a chat box and communication system with friends that all expensive for a multi-million section of it’s mother company? Again even deaf people read and text, we can’t even talk playing double up yet there is so much idiots in the game. I can’t even talk about my strategies before the game with a friend in the waiting room. I cannot believe the developers would not found this a problem and let it hang for so long. Just that we play TFT doesn’t mean we are all introverted nerds who does not talk to each other. Please fix. yes, it is an illicit problem. You either do something to reduce the battery use as well. I love this game so i’d have more energy on making legitimate criticism. It’s your sloppiness, deal with it like an adult.

Mediocre game, terrible app
Constantly logs me out. My password contains plenty of different characters which means logging in using an iphone keyboard is a real pain. Every time i open another app, even if just for 10 seconds to check on a text between rounds i have to re-log in. It’s a huge pain. Sometimes when this happens all the champions won’t load in. Game is fun enough but the app is terrible. If I’m not switching devices, I shouldn’t have to keep logging in, it makes no sense and is a massive hindrance

This game is great, like wow. However, it takes 12 years to go on and it does drag a little bit in the game but I’m not to bothered with that. I was once stuck on 98% loading for 10 minutes :/. Fun little tactical game. Not the best game ever but definitely one of the best free phone titles.

Game itself is fun and nearly as good as on pc but could really do with a dedicated iPad app. I also have issues with collecting orbs stuck under units when the board gets busy, and sometimes the ui resets when shop refreshes/ new powers or items become available for selection and I end up accidentally making a choice when trying to equip things on champions.

I love the game think it’s made incredibly well now call me terrible etc but no matter what this game denies me a win genuinely went 17 combats untouched and still lost. Something that needs I’m proving is the fact that you can start a build have the build nearly completed and the rest of the game not get any of the characters while your opponents are stealing your build and being able to build them quite irritating but other than that it’s good fun

Great app if disappointment is what you’re looking for!
If youre looking for an app that will only work 10% of times- this is for you! It closes 2seconds after it starts, constantly reinstalling might help but how many times should an app be reinstalled to work? 10? 15? Never had problems like that with any other app or mobile game. Im an Apple user with updated os. The once every week that it actually allows me to play a match its really fun! Not sure if that’s enough.

User interface needs an overhaul for phone use.
Everything is too small and dragging items to champs is difficult as they tend to overlap. Because you’re using your finger and double checking everything you’re doing you end up not being able to do as many actions as you would on a computer.
Touch controls sometimes just don’t register, like dragging items to a champ or even dragging champs. At times you could double click the refresh shop button waiting 2 gold or missing a champ you need.
If they gave the UI a small overhaul making it easier to navigate on a phone it would be great.

After the newest update the game keeps closing
I have an iPhone 12 Pro and played the new set without any problems. Yesterday I was prompted to update my TFT app and since then it keeps closing without even loading over and over again. I’ve restarted my iPhone, I’ve completely uninstalled and reinstalled the app and nothing works. This seems to happen pretty regularly (happened on my old iPhone 7 Plus too and to my boyfriends iPhone 7 and iPhone X) and I find it super frustrating if you’re in the middle of trying to climb ranks. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars this time around. I guess I’ll just wait for a new patch so that this stops .........
Other than that, the app is pretty fun. It does have some issues w/ repeatedly showing the same accomplishments that you’ve already finished and being a bit glitchy (I’ve tried on mobile data and also on internet so it’s not dependent on my connection to the server, I’m in EU).

Great game, could use some ease of access improvements
This game is really great, however I feel it was quite difficult to know what item combinations makes what. It would be useful to be able to have a menu or something that shows all the item combinations. I know that you can click on an item to see what it can create but you cannot click on the would-be crafted item to see what it does.

No native iPad support
I would love to provide this game a 5 star rating, but the fact that Riot has ignored support for the iPad since this games launch on iOS makes me think they will never provide this for the player base. I can’t and won’t play this on an iPhone, and the scaled size doesn’t fix the fundamental issues I have on the small screen as the UI doesn’t change with the size increase on the iPad... it’s simply the iPhone version sized up and pixelated... I switched to Auto Chess and can say that I will remain playing that game over this until this flaw is fixed. I find playing this type of game on a tablet to be so enjoyable compared to the PC or iPhone. Please Riot... Fix this!

Nice game, but…
First of all there is huge minus in this game for the beginners. When you can choose your first fighter you don't know nothing about it. In every cycle as well as there is no way that you can click and check details. Same thing when you have already some characters from some build you can not check names of missing ones. Simple things but really making game little bit annoying.
Also, developer should add language packs do download separately as an option.

No iPad version and buggy!
The game itself as in team fight tactics is fun and I’d give it 5 star if it wasn’t for the amount of issues with this game. Firstly you’ve got the fact there isn’t an iPad version, so On iPad you play on a mini version that’s zoomed in.... come on guys it’s 2021 .... Secondly everytime I go on the app and try log in, just sits on login for ages, it’s like I have to go in and out of the app multiple times just to log in and actually play. No issues when I can actually get on the game but with the two things stated it’s not worth the hassle.
Someone please fix these two problems.

It’s good but the app takes to long to load
Overall the app is good and you can play from different devices with your friends, however it’s very annoying when opening the app it takes lot of waiting and refreshing before it actually logs you into your account.

Problems loading the app
I love tft I love lol but never had a pc to play when they came mobile I got addicted but the issues loading the game are making it so hard to enjoy it, it takes me like 10+ minutes to load the app I’ve deleted and reinstalled it multiple times and this doesn’t fix the issues! I would love if you fix this as the game is amazing and has such potential this is just letting it down please fix this! I have friends who play on pc and don’t have these issues but friends who’ve tried to play on mobile have experienced this also...

Completely ruined
Tft used to be an amazing game, set 1 was stand out, 4 looked like it had potential then with the latest patch they’ve tried to speed up the game second krug is a myth, in fact some players will be lucky to get to 3rd carousel, I don’t know why they’ve sped the game up so much. Patch by patch in set 4 they’ve been playing with the damage formula, with the latest going of the scale too far. Sadly this game just become unenjoyable and unplayable.

Riot constantly screwing the meta
This game is usually a fun game to play but once again the fun is ruined constantly due to riot making horrible patch decisions. Fate chosen is such a flawed feature the fact the multiple players can get the same fate chosen with same fate chosen trait is ridiculous meaning you intentionally put others at a disadvantage having to make them wait for another unique fate chosen champion to be found thus making this heavily and I mean HEAVILY RNG dependant rather than being strategy based thus not making this once somewhat balanced strategic based game, heavily luck based and constantly continuing to subtract the strategic element form this game. Everybody I see in ranked just follows the bog standard build guides these days there’s no originality anymore. It’s a shame because this because used to be an enjoyable game but it is no longer a game of wit and strategy but rather a game of who gets the jackpot fate chosen champions no more different to gatcha games except you won’t spend real money at least...

Great addictive game
So this is my most played game app on my phone and just love the app version. Used to play normal league for like 8years then just prefer TFT now tbh. Only downside is, I just play TFT on mobile and you can’t see your match history which would be a good useful feature to add in. Other than that can’t fault it

Really good game but lack of native iPad app
On the whole, I think TFT is excellent. My biggest gripe right now is the lack of native iPad app though. Somehow LOR came out after TFT, with a gorgeous native iPad app on release, and TFT is still waiting.
The only other issue I think is that games can be long, in the 30-45 minute range, which I think, for mobile users who usually have much shorter interactions with games, might hold it back from growing as much on mobile as I think it should.
I also think it could be improved by having something like an item list in game that actually shows what each item does before you combine two parts together. On PC I naturally have Mobalytics up alongside it, and I generally do the same with my phone when playing on iPad, but annoying you can’t do it in game.
Otherwise though, really excellent and enjoyable to play. Feels a bit overwhelming at first when you’re trying to learn comps and items, but lots of ways you can work to master the game, and it’s fun climbing the ranks.

Good game but needs matchup fixing
This is a very good game love it and play it every every day hut there will always be a part of me that hates this.
I was introduced to this game from league of legends of course and instantly started playing it since season 1, and played it on mobile as soon as it came out but....
There are too many scenarios in which I play and end up on the bottom of the leader board (which of course is not a big problem as it can happen to anyone) and I always end up fighting either the strongest person at the top or someone that’s at a win streak at 20hp when they are around 80.
The amount of times I have died from this is uncountable and it just enraged me at the matchmaking system. This is the main reason why I’m hard stuck gold II/gold I and it just really annoys me and I’m sure many people have experienced it themselves.
Another issue I have with this game is that whenever I play and I’m doing either decent or really good it just suddenly needs reconnecting although my internet connection is absolutely fine!! This has caused me to lose many win streaks and opportunities of getting 3 star units and I have to exit and restart the app every time it happens. This usually happens to me once per one or two games.
If you are reading this please would you consider responding or even fixing this problem?

This is a good game to play in pc aswell as phone but the fact that some people think it is luck annoys me it is complete skill you pick what you are given not decide what your team comp is before the game and most people don’t realise that there is a limited pool so if 6 people are building the same thing non of you are gonna get the things you want

Love this game!
I started playing league of legends just before TFT came out and thoroughly enjoyed it then TFT was released and I gave it a go and fell in love with it the fact that is now on mobile is amazing it means I can play with my friends who all have a pc and not feel like I am at a disadvantage for being on my mobile updates are rolled out when they are needed and riot actually listens to its audience. If you haven’t tried it yet I suggest you give it a go the games take a little while but when you get good and win it’s so satisfying

Would be great if the developer actually tested the app before releasing each update
Nothing wrong with the game itself, but the fact that the app crashes as soon as a ranked match is loading is nothing short of frustrating.
Crashes again a few seconds later if I attempt to re-open the app and reconnect to the game, if I’m lucky, or just simply crashes as soon as I open the app.
Really a great shame. So here is your one-star.

Good,fun, unoptimised
Been playing the game since it was released, very fun easy to learn hard to master game, in order to get 5 stars there needs to be a full iPad mode as playing with the zoomed in iPhone version really affects the resolution.
Also keyboard support for those of us that use Bluetooth keyboards and are used to the shortcuts from the pc version.
All in all a good game just needs some fine tuning

Great game
I would give this 5 but the health bars disappear out of view sometimes on the oppositions back row, which is frustrating as I can’t tell how close the champion is from dying during the battle. All you have to do is increase the field of view a bit, similar to the PC version. Seems like such a silly oversight and an easy fix. Not sure why you haven’t already picked up on this?!

Top notch entertainment!
A great little game that a friend introduced to me on PC. I never played LoL surprisingly but this game is more for me. When it came to iOS I was happy to have it on the iPad and have spent hours experimenting with different builds. I would say it is a little imbalanced with some item combinations and characters but this changes with each patch. It is highly competitive and challenging. The best part is you don’t need to spend cash to advance through gameplay. It is 100% free to play. I bought a season pass purely for cosmetics and to support the game. Great model for other games.

Great TFT App
Honestly the mobile version of this game was better than I expected. Love the game on PC and now on mobile. My only feedback would be if the chat system is added to the mobile version. I can hear the pings which means someone has typed a message, would love to be able to read these messages and respond to them. Apart from that, great app well done devs! :)

On the whole really well done.
Played plenty TFT on both mobile and PC. This is a solid version that will be great for beginners but also still allows competitive play at a decent elo (ranked low/mid plat).
Few pointers to improve
- res on IPAD needs to be fixed.
- I don’t think it’s necessary to have the sell buttons on both corners, it’s quite easy to accidentally sell a piece when just trying to drag it around on your bench.

Great Game!
Pros- Enjoyed on PC and enjoyed on phone. Easy to learn difficult to master. Massive replay ability added to by constant updates and changes.
Cons - Changes can be a bit much to keep up with. Not the best UX on small screen (iPhone 7, I should get a new phone). Runs smooth generally tho I have dealt with a few crashes mid game.
Rito - Please bring Valorant to PS4!!

Original Experience
I tried TFT when it launched through LoL and it was quirky and fun, now that the game is on mobile and it still links to your original account, I can continue without the hassle of a pc. You still need a decent chunk of time available to complete a game and there aren’t really any team building advice or composition strategies readily on hand in the interface but once you pick up the gist of it it’s hard to put down. The lack of an in game store is surprising, purchases are purely cosmetic but can still only be accessed via PC. They aren’t necessary but, come on, who are we kidding here, yes they are. The only options available are locked in another effing “pass” which is a game mechanic that needs shot into the sun to attempt to cancel out its cancer with a fresh dose of radiation. That doesn’t detract from the gameplay which is still solid.

Amazing Game with a big learning curve
Going from the PC version to the mobile version, The mobile version is pretty much spot on. On an iPhone 11 the game runs great, haven’t had any crashes or issues. The only thing I wish is if you tab out for longer then 15 seconds or so you need to reconnect to the game, would be nice for the game to run in the background (not sure if this is possible).
The only issues I have is only being able to see HP in between rounds. I quite like being able to see my HP all the time. Also sometimes I’ll miss click the level up and waste 4 gold if I’m repositioning my phone.
Otherwise props to Riot Games for making an amazing mobile version, I’ll continue to play this on the side when I need to cool off from Valorant.

Well I guess this is me now...🤣
I am a league player so slightly bias, however since downloading this game I literally cannot put it down!
My review so far...
Pros:
-Easy game to pick up (hard to master, lol!)
-Games pace doesn’t feel sluggish, nor rushed.
-Great graphics.
-Multiple ways to build and strategise.
-Good server response; hardly any lag.
-Tutorial is easy to understand.
Cons:
-App randomly closes (Gameplay not too affected though).
-(My phone) Rather draining on battery.
-No game mode descriptions
-Initial ‘free’ missions bar maxes out quick
-Level rewards, and almost all additional content has a cost (Classic ‘Rito’ 🤣)
Basically if you’re after an addictive game to play for a while and really aren’t fussed about stuff like ‘skins’ and ‘emotes’; download this. It’s great!
