Love, great for planners!
I use this app all the time for planning everything including calenders, design plans and journalling. There’s all sorts of features to help and inspire. And they add new features a fair bit that are always great and I haven’t had a problem with any updates. I don’t usually review apps, but this one has become an essential for me for a few years now so I have found it well worth it!

Years of practically & enjoyment from this app!
I have used Zinnia for a number of years now. Initially for digital planning. Now I make vision boards, journal, language learning, budgeting and my son’s schooling. Images are so easy to import and now I can use PDF files. Such a wide range of stickers, lettering & a multitude of elements - the possibilities are endless. Year after year, Zinnia is a treat for me and my future self.

I love planning in the app but…
I love making planners with this app. But I have not been able to rely in it as a planner as it has two huge problems for me:
1. It crashes too many times when I’m working on it, which is a major inconvenience when using it daily.
2. It does not always work offline which makes it unreliable for serious planning specially when Im travelling which is when I need my planner the most.

Nice app let down by Subsciption Model
At a time when a lot of people are having to cut back on subscriptions due to the cost of living, it is always a shame to see yet another Subscription only app or service.
This is a very nice app but the subscription model is both greedy and unfriendly, I consider this app to be a luxury so I will not be signing up to 1 whole year!
If the owners of this app would let me pay monthly or pay a one time fee for perpetual/lifetime access then I would be happy to pay, I can not however justify paying a full year, okay there is a free trial for 7 days but that is not the same, maybe I need a few months of journaling to really feel if this app fits me and my lifestyle, super anxious also that I will forget to cancel and a full year will be debited.

Worth the money.. mostly
I have been using this app for a few months now and I do really enjoy it. It’s a good app for normal typing journals but my personal favourite way to use the app is to use as a recap of the month or the day. It’s also a good platform that doesn’t lag which can sometimes be common in these types of apps. My only complaint / feedback would be that I wish there were more drawing utensils, I like calligraphy writing most for my journals but the options are limited in terms of thickness and pen type, the fountain pen writes okay but I end up using the highlighter to write as it reacts better to the apple pen I’m using. I’m happy to pay the monthly bill though I do wish I was getting more options for dragging from other apps like Pinterest or shops to create boards that I can refer back to in the future as a lot of the time I’m using the app for journaling or wedding planning.

This app has many amazing features, from keeping a daily or weekly diary - keeping track of all your appointments and activities to mindfulness tracing and colouring. This app has a journal for everything! I love it!

Suddenly buggy
I use Zinnia every day. I love it. However, in the past couple of weeks the erase tool has switched to what can only be described as ‘random’ mode, where it seems like it’s playing ball and then suddenly erases random parts of the page. It’s gone from being my main note-taking tool to being borderline useless. I’ve reported the problem but putting in the ratings so it will get a quicker fix.

Great but having to pay isn’t great
The app is brilliant, don’t get my lower review wrong, but having to pay for a simple writing app on a subscription basis is just wrong, I believe for £35 I should get everything for life, I used this to help my mental health by journaling and I am a tech guy so I like to use the Apple Pencil to journal rather than pen and paper. It’s a shame that such a great app is heavily hampered by paywalls and subscriptions.
Side note, if anyone reading this knows if I can copy the writing into something else then let me know.

Me personally am not a money spender.I know the game is not designed for secondary school age people but I thought this would be my big break where I could finally get organised.I was fully prepared to burn all my paper journals that get ruined so easily!
The point is you need to pay money while I know £34 per year
isn’t that much compared to other apps they hang it over your head!
You can hardly get anything ANYTHING for free you will go on a category and only one of the things is free!
And get this I wanted a calander but only 1 month was free are you kidding me.
The game is absolutely amazing it reaches all of your expectantions ONLY if you have premium.
I know I’m just complaining but I wanted to make a bullet journal but you can only use 3 pages before the limit. I don’t see the point.
If your willing to pay money it’s amazing no improvement needed but if you aren’t this is not the app for you!
Sorry for ranting I know there is no app without subscription fees but all I’m asking is for there to be a larger variety of free things and more pages!

Took money without permission

Overall Good
It is a well-designed platform and free to use unless you opt for the premium version. However, the cost for premium features can be quite high. If you are not willing to pay, I would not recommend it, as there are more cost-effective alternatives. For instance, Apple’s Freeform app is completely free and comes pre-installed on Apple devices, though users without one may need to download it separately.
I I used the platform for a while, but I found it quite limiting. Access to certain features is restricted, and the amount of digital paper available is limited unless you purchase the premium version.

I really wish I could save previous copies of what I write, for exampleI thought it saved automatically so I wrote a series of letters for my best friend, but then I wanted to look at all of the and I couldnt see any of them except for the one I just wrote, so I lost a lot of hard work because of it and it’s really annoying me, and now I’m researching other apps.

It could be better.
The number of different aesthetics you can have feels a bit restrictive. There’s hardly anything for people with alternative styles. In addition to that, some of the tools don’t work properly. Copy and paste doesn’t work and importing images or photos from outside the app doesn’t work.

For Beginers
I have seen the app, and I’m One of you guys don’t worry, and I am getting unhappy and disappointed that everything in the needs a premium pass.I want to decorate a journal and planner or even to-do list, so I can get comfortable and do what i planned.But i need one of the Developers to fix this.Im moving into year 8 soon and I really need to plan and stay clean and organised.But If any developer sees this please hear me out because if any more people join this app, they will be as disappointed as I am.Not everyone has to pay.What if they can’t pay but need to be organised.That would lead them to a bad path.What if they don’t have enough money for premium or might be a too busy.This app has the best reviews I have ever seen.And I had all my hope's up for this app.But please fix this.

Developers: Look how many people in these reviews you are turning away from your app because you have overpriced it by at least 60%. People just can not afford it. The ‘free’ things that you offer are just not worth keeping the app for, and people may as well just use the iPhone/iPads OWN notes because it is so poor what you offer for free - 2 blank pages that you can do nothing with. I understand you have to pay for the work you have done, but nearly £40 per person for just 1 year? Pure gr*èd. Downloaders: Don’t waste your time unless you want to fill out a few questions, then told it’s £40 subscription fee for a week/month/year. Really disappointed in this app as this would have been perfect for what I am looking for.

AMAZING
This is by far the best app i have ever tried! There are endless amounts of stickers, frames, paper packs and so much more. They have so many ready made journals such as pregnancy journal, 2024 weekly planner, recipe book and everything else you can think of. Everything is so organised and everything is so easy to find. As i said this app is amazing but… i do have one slight issue (technically this wasn't an issue for me) it costs about £9 per month to access all the great stuff for example if you don't pay you can only access 2 pages AT ALL but if you do pay you have unlimited pages, so if you can afford I DEFINITELY recommend but if you aren’t so fussed and would only use it a couple times a week, probably don't spend your money.

This app is beautiful
I’ve had this app for a few months now and use it multiple times every single day. The possibilities are endless - I use one journal in the morning to plan my day, and another to record that day with words, photographs and decorations (plus all the other notebooks I have for specific projects!!)
It is so easy to use and adds creativity to my day.
I genuinely don’t understand people complaining about the price. I have the annual subscription and feel it’s excellent value for money. I love all the new content and features which are regularly updated.
The one thing that would make the app absolutely perfect would be some kind of search function to make looking for information easy.
Other than that, I absolutely love Zinnia. Thank you for a wonderful app.

Very buggy recently
I love this app and I've been using it since 2020. It's been my daily journal and I have thousands of pages written. Unfortunately now I have to stop using it, because recently it has become very buggy: it's not syncing pages properly and it's losing content. Besides other UI issues that have been outstanding for weeks. So now I am no longer a subscriber while I hope these issues will be resolved. If at least their support team would have an FAQ or send updates about the status of the issue, it would be great. As it is, it's not a reliable way to store my journal anymore, which is really sad.

Amazing!! BUT….
The zinnia app is amazing, and I love using it, but I cannot subscribe to Zinnia so I’m kind of disappointed by the amount of stuff you can only get through the subscription. I wish there were more stickers, templates and pre-made journals available to people who can’t subscribe to the app. It’s quite annoying when I find a template that fits my journal theme so well, but I have to subscribe to get it 😞. Other than that, I enjoy trying to make journals, and the content available with subscription looks incredible. :)

It’s a good app but….
I joined in the morning to test it and it worked fine, but then I left for a while and when I came back I decided to try it out again, and it didn’t work I thought it was just a glitch, and then I refreshed it and joined again it didn’t load, I decided to turn my device off and go back on and tried it, it didn’t work.
I got a little bit frustrated and decided to try again, and again, and again.. for a long time, I came to the fact I literally wanted to delete the game, then I thought of making a review to see if anyone has experienced this, I think this is a glitch and if u can, try fix this. Although the app was quite good,

Amazing, but..
In the ads and in the reviews the game sounds amazing, fun and creative so I’m gonna cut this short. It is SUPER ANNOYING because you have to PAY for EVERYTHING. I know these people have to make money but really? For everything? I downloaded this app hoping that I can finally write down all the stuff I have to do on an iPad or a device but as soon as I clicked on it, you have to have a subscription or something and from my experience so far I can’t do anything without paying for it. I only gave this a 2 because of the reviews and the ads. I would’ve gave this a one otherwise.

Ok..
I saw ads about it when i was playing games and it looked really promising (unlike any other ones) until i downloaded it…it looked great when i first opened the app, but when i tried to make a journal, IT KEPT SAYING I NEEDED TO PAY. Now I wouldn’t mind having to pay before, but since im broke now im not able to use it.
I gave it a 3 star review only because if you had the money it would be very fun, aaand because it might end up on the recent reviews

amaxing but we needs pens for mac
I trialled this app on the ipad to start with and decided after putting it through its paces to pay for the subscription. Im not so keem on subscription models on the whole but realising the yearly fee was less than what i was spending on paper journals and the fact i could use in on all my devices, iphone, ipad and mac - i went for it. (Also far better and less than things which cost me a fotune accross three devices)
I went to use on my mac today and sadly the function is limited on the mac; you cant draw, you can only type or add an image/ i want to be able to doodle whilst im working and highlight things i need to do that day. i use this as my TODO lists as well as bullet journalilng. I keep going to use the pen and it slows me up as i think of a work around for what im trying to do.
As i type this i think mac is quite new to the mix so hopefully they have plans... be good to see plans in the FAQ/Help section
All in all this is a great app, and i do feel like im "paper" bullet journalling on ipad as it is rich in stickers, washi tape and templates. Ive also upload things like my own set of washi tape and icons from adobe. The link feature is a gem of a feature. For each journla i create a "template" this is much like a brand guide for my journal. My template is at the end of each of my journals and i have a hidden link on the bottom of each page (once set up, just a case of remebering to copy and paste) this template section has my core colours, my tapes, some images and so on and so forth, like a pnecil case specifically for each journal making each oe unique and beautiful.
I just wish the pens were on the mac ..// i started the review plannkng to give 4 stars but on reflection it deserves 5, with the hope of full functionality on the mac...

I love this app, I paid for a yearly subscription, which is really a reasonable price when you consider how much a bullet joournal, the pens, stamps, washi tape, stickers, stencils etc all add up to!
Im still getting used to how it works but generally find it to be quite intuitive and easy to work. I use this both on my macbook and my phone, some functionalities seems easier on the different devices, but I love that I can design the journal on the mac and then have it with me everywhere I go on my phone.
As much as I love a hard copy bujo, I have found doing the layouts for each month can get tedious, the fact you can just duplicate layouts and pages is amazing.

If You Value It, Pay For It!
I’m very glad to hear that Zinnia has finally put brakes on the freeloaders. I can’t believe these people who think they should have whatever they like for free. As a longtime subscriber, I think paying less than £1 a week is extremely good value, especially with all the recent updates. There is nothing else with the breadth and quality out there.

I understand the developers have to make money but I just find it unfair how I have to pay money in order to make more notebooks I wanted to make several notebooks with endless pages but I’m having to pay in order to do that it’s a bit unfair on my opinion not everyone has the money to buy subscriptions for apps

The day ha come when i can finally use this on my macbook. I have a 2015 macbookt hat still works like a beast and when i tell you how happy i was to see that you have made this available for ac my heart skipped a beat! I have access to all of my journals on my ipad and on my macbook but i absolutely love planning on my macbook!!

Irritating and a waste of time, fix it
I thought I finally found a good journaling app. It was, until they started the stupid rule that each journal has three pages, and you have to pay to get more pages and more than three journals. It’s literally a scam, not to mention the fact you have to pay for more than a few stickers?
Honestly, it’s outraging and a scam.
I’m going to stop using the app, like many other people have.
Please, fix this problem. Whereas you’re trying to get money off us by making things unfair, you’re actually losing more from the amount of people deleting your app.
If this problem isn’t addressed to, I'm deleting the app - again, as many others have.
It’s your loss.
Also, don’t download this app. It has potential but because of all of these unnecessary problems and changes listed above, it’s practically unusable.

Look i wanted and could have loved
I have always wanted a athstetic useful journal and I knew that it had templates stickers different types of pens and colours which it does , so as someone who wanted to try journal but not spend a ton of money just to quit it would have been great but for anything good and most things in general you have to pay it's not expensive but I don't have too much money to spear each month to pay for apps and I know some people just aren't willing to witch considering there are other free apps which don't have the same features but you could probably just find pictures online and recreate somewhat easily which is what I'm gonna try before i commit

scam, subscription, no thanks
any app that requires a subscription i consider to be a scam. had enough of this with notability taking out the search handwritten text feature and every other app for the most basic mundane feature seems to require a subscription to access it. now it seems every other sodding app just wants money out of people when things are expensive enough as it is, i just cant keep buying apps or purchasing extra features that barely even offer much in return
its getting out of hand at this point and its turning me off from using my ipad as much because everything seems to cost more for the basic stuff to use an app for. might as well buy a physical planner, notebook or download one for free etc for the amount people have to cash in to even use their tablets for digital notetaking and whatever else

It isn’t actually 5 start
I’m sorry I only put five start so it would get shown but it is actually a good app if you pay for it as you altogether are only allowed to do 9 pages before you have to pay and this is spread over 3 books so I won’t recommend this as a free app but as a ought app it seems amazing

Great content, app not so good
I love all of the content that you get with this app, the possibilities are endless and I always try to find an excuse to make another journal! The main problems I am having at the moment are:
- The app keeps freezing.
- The app keeps closing itself down after about 10-15 mins of use
- When trying to save certain thingas in “My Stuff”, not all of it is being saved and I have to keep checking straight after adding something to make sure it registered.

Incredible, I love it
Okay. I’m not good at bullet journaling. I have the ideas for it but I can’t make it look pretty like you see online, nor do I have the resources to do so.
With this app though. Oh my god. I’ve spent most of today using it and creating some pages for my planner for uni next year and it is perfection! I adore all of the resources it provides!
With the free version you only get one thing from each category which is a bit limiting but the paid version is worth it! It’s £8.99 a month which is a little steep - maybe £6 ish would be better but I’m more than happy paying the extra if it means that the app is kept to this standard!
If you aren’t good at creating the app provides pre made journals for most things you can use and then customise which is VERY helpful.
My only complaint (more of a suggestion) is that I wish they would add a duplicate button for each asset on the page. Right now you have to copy and paste which can be tedious.
I adore this app. Even if I don’t end up keeping up with filling it in, I love creating the journals!

Amazing app thanks
Three suggestions for next update please:
1. Creating Folders inside MyStuff to be able organise own things and reorder them. 😍Thank you
2. Crop tool in image export. When export image from iPad to be able crop and round corners and shape the imported image in different perspectives.😍Thank you
3. Smudge and Fill tool for sketches etc. at the moment we can only change colour to the stickers from a studio. Will be much fun if own exported one colour png could change colour. As well when draw a symbol with pen or pencil be able to fill it with same texture as chosen pen in few clicks. And after smudge it all arts with thousands swirls. 😍 Thank you

Great ! BUT...
The app is amazing ! Great for projects and has everything even helps you create planners , journals, gives tips so on so on 5/5
BUT ... it would be great if you could add videos to the pages, have a ruler to draw straight lines ( my hand shakes like I’m 90, i need it ) and most importantly if you could put the frames to the size you want them then can be enlarged but not adjustable and when i try to put a frame around a picture one side always sticks out, it would be great if u should adjust each side to the size or place you want it to be wish i could make one side of frame thicker thinner, longer or shorter. Otherwise i fully recommend the app!

Love the app -recommendations to the app developers
I love my Zinnia app.
Honestly congratulations to everyone who has made it. I’m a happy customer. Couple of recommendations I have though:
I would love to favourite some of their fonts. It’s just hard to remember sometimes the name of the font.
Also when you search for something, you can tap and hold on a design and see the other designs in the the same collection. Which is great. However this ability goes away when you save them to my stuff section. So if I could tap and hold on a design in the My Stuff menu and this action would take me to other designs under the same collection that would be great.

Worth every penny
This app is my favourite by far, nothing comes close! Ive gone paper free since having this app I absolutely love it! Its so versatile and personal, its my life planner and day to day diary! Its just brilliant!!!!! Thank you to the developers
Idea - i would really like a bookshelf or main folder drawer so i can have my books in groups and my main books eg(diary and todo’s) always at the front

TERRIBLE
I saw this on an ad and i thought "why not?" then i got it and was so excited about all the free things you can get. I started using it but after a few days I started to get really irritated. It is so infuriating because when you go to use a text box it doesn't even work. It creates a new one and starts typing somewhere completely different? Don't even get me started on the fact you can't even zoom in all the way. If you love colouring boxes and setting things out neat i hate to tell you that this app is pure rubbish because it doesn't even let you zoom in all the way and it goes way out of the lines. The way everything is laid out is cute at first but becomes annoying and tedious. Complete waste of time.

Quite good
Is very helpful for planning and making aesthetic posters. But it was very disappointing to see that barely any stickers or tapes were available without premium. One thing that bugged me soo bad was that you could only access two letters of the whole alphabet when looking at the letters in the packs. This makes no sense cause how are you meant to write anything? I would also like a few more pages in a journal(3 isn’t really sufficient enough). Pretty much everything else about this app was good. Like the wide range of fonts and page layouts. I keep having this write glitch; occasionally when I change fonts, the app crashes and closes down. It might be a problem with my device tho. Overall, I would defiantly recommend cause it is a very good app for organising and planning.

No Regrets!
I caught sight of Zinnia whilst browsing my IPad apps so, I thought I’d try it.
I found it easy to use even though I didn’t have an ‘pen’, just my keyboard but, it mattered not because Zinnia caters to both Pen and keyboard!
I used the free intro to the app whilst looking for a cheaper way to build a Planner. The cost of making my own was climbing so I watched the Zinnia YT video’s and realised it would be cheaper in the long run so, I joined.
If you can’t get your Planner sorted or even, started, I recommend you start using Zinnia!
I’ve learned so much in the first day ... but there’s much more to using a planner and Zinnia helps every step of the way!

Used to be good until new update
I have used Zinnia for over a year now and really used to enjoy using this app. Now with the new update only certain content could be accessed which is really annoying but I understand that they need to make money. However almost everything is not free which is upsetting for me as I used to use this app always and there is no other application like it, it is very unique. Also on the new update for some reason it doesn’t even let me use free studio content on my journals and when I tap on a free content in studio it shows an ad for the paid version. This app used to be my favourite app ever, but if it continues to be how it is now I may have to stop using and find a replacement which would be very upsetting for me as I love this app. Pixite, please fix this.

New update 🤨
I absolutely love Zinnea and using it is simple, easy and looks so nice! But I loaded the app yesterday to find most of the stickers are locked, and you have to pay for them! Before, they were all free and I think you should fix the update. It is quite expensive to have premium anyway, but adding the price on most stickers is too extra. It’s really sad and you can’t really do much now. Please fix it!
Add on, I think you really need to fix this is so bad now, you have to pay for basically all of the stickers, and I keep it in hope that you will change it back, but don’t use it as there’s no point. Fix please, it’s really irritating

Amazing why are the other reviews bad
This app is really good yes i know that you have pay for most of the stuff but you can add images so why don’t you get templates online or do what I do take a picture of the template that you have to pay for in zinnia and then add the picture then you can use the template you would have to pay for. Besides from that you get a range of colours good stickers and good templates washi tape and etc. Please get this app I recommend this and btw I thought it was trash at first because you had to pay for most if the stuff but then I figured out the things you could use to get the templates you want. Please get this thanks bye

One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Zinnia is a great app for me. I have a bullet journal myself, and find it extremely helpful. This is a beautiful app and sometimes I print of the designs and stick them or trace them into my bullet journal. I’m not a subscriber to this as I don’t have a member ship, but even without the membership you get some great designs. The reason why I’ve given it 4 stars and not 5 is because I think maybe zinnia could add some more designs for people who aren’t subscribed. Apart from that, this is a beautiful app and I recommend this to people who like bullet journaling or scrapbooking. Thank you Zinnia!

I used to really love this app until, the new update.
I used to love using all the stickers and different text boxes to create amazing notebooks for school, until the new update came. Before it allowed you to use all the stickers available to make your note books more personal, but now you may only use a small section of the stickers provided. This made it very hard to make aesthetic and detailed pages. It was very disappointing. If the monthly/yearly subscription wasn’t so high I would highly consider purchasing it. But as it amounts to a large almost £100 a year, that is way to much to spend one one app alone. I think they could have done an amazing job, but let themselves down slightly with the pricing.

Deal breaker
I like the app in general but the things that where a deal breaker for me go as followed . Okay I know this app is trying to make money but locking some of the stickers wasn’t really fair because I don’t feel like it’s fair to pay a silly amount for a premium version and still have to pay that silly amount every month. The journals if you don’t buy the premium only allow you to have three pages per journal and there are only allowed five journals without a premium which I think was kind of unfair as again I don’t want to pay a ridiculous amount just to get more pages and journals when I can clearly just use some of the apps that the iPad comes with , like notes or pages. Anyway these are the deal breakers for me.

Amazing but the new update is not nice
I love this app it is just amazing and helps me stay organised. If you don’t want to get the subscription then you can print out the spread sheets and stick it in a journal as you can only get a few pages and books. The stickers on this app are just amazing and so cute but the new update annoyed me as you have to PAY to get quite a lot of the stickers and there are only a handful that are free and they are not really to my likings. So please to the makers of this wonderful app can you make the stickers free. I tried a lot of other bullet journal apps which you had to pay for a lot of things such as colours and pens when I came to this app it helped me a lot and I have been using it for months and I don’t want to stop but if I have o pay for the stickers then I might just stop. Overall an amazing app though and if you can get the subscription then I suggest you do as you can unlock even more amazing features.

Amazing!
This is fantastic game! To anyone out there who needs a journal, here you go! No money, no adverts or anything annoying! It’s great so you can do lots of stuff and keep down things you have to remember! Amazing! I rated this 5 starts I just think that I recommend this to anyone, it takes away your boredom to write down things and your daily and night routine! It’s amazing! Anyone who disliked its okay its your opinion and I respect that I just think the people who don’t really like it are just kind of jealous of the owners. But that’s okay. Worth every penny!
I found Zinnia through one of their Pinterest adverts and I can safely say it is the best app purchase I have made in years. The templates and stickers you can work with are constantly updating. I lose hours on there in the blink of an eye! The subscription price is 100% fair given the amount of content you are given - and high quality content at that. I’ve used the templates for such a wide range of functions this app pays for itself within your first hour. If you have the money to spend then you really won’t be wasting it with this app. Big big thank you to Zinnia’s designers and developers - you have done a fantastic job!

Looks great - but paying for looks
I tried this app and was tempted to subscribe, but felt it didn’t justify such a high price. The limits on the free version make it very limiting making it difficult to figure out if I would get enough use to justify such a high subscription. It feels very pressuring. The selling points to subscribe seem very superficial too (I don’t need stickers...) would prefer to see things such as enhanced security features (e.g. password protection) or bookmarks. I’ve been using a note-taking app but was looking for a separate app for personal use, this one has done a lot to promote it’s instagrammable looks, but in terms of substance, feels lacking.

Potential, but not making the most of it’s digital platform.
This is a great app in many ways, though it’s not making the most of being on a digital platform and is quite expensive considering this.
1. You can’t batch upload images
2. You can’t upload images from an external source such as a NAS Drive.
3. You can’t make minor edits or and frames to images in app.
4. No functionality for adding audio, video or slide shows.
5. Not able to make and add your own template.
6. Can’t upload gif’s so cant make your own images with a clear background.
7. In built templates can only be resized at their fixed ratio.
As a photographer and home educator I was really excited when I first saw this app as a way to journal our educational journey. Sadly it’s not living up to hopes just yet, but in time 🤞🤞🤞.

Beautiful app, with a few flaws
This app is brilliant! The templates are beautiful, the stickers are wonderful, and I love the way you can adjust the washi tape. My only gripes with this app are: 1. It crashes a LOT while using it - I have to close and relaunch the app at least once per session, and 2. The price is excessive! I’m more than happy to pay a larger one-time fee as I hate subscriptions, but £60 a year IS a subscription, and an expensive one at that. The free version is extremely limiting (3 books at 3 pages per book), especially when you consider that you can pick up something like GoodNotes for half the price of a monthly sub and have none of those restrictions. I’d be happy to pay a one-off fee for the app, and then purchase additional template/sticker packs within the app when they are released. I really do want to support this app as I think it’s brilliant and has so much potential, but the price point and crashing issue put me off committing.

Charge different prices to different people
Looks like a beautiful app with so much customisation, however I have one big gripe. My partner and I downloaded this while sitting next to each other and she was offer 67% discount on an annual plan where i was offer 50%. The only reason I can see is I’m on an iPad Pro and she’s on an iPad mini. So guessing they are giving different discounts for different (or more expensive) devices. I think this is a little underhanded and disappointing.
Also, while it’s a great looking app. £10 or £60 a year seems excessive. Would be more enticing if it was in the £20 - 30 a year range.

Great For Art Journaling
I love this app! It’s great for art journaling, which I love. There’s a journal included that explains everything you need to know to use the app. You can copy and paste your own artwork elements, which is really useful, as I love to mix it up with my own creations. Artwork is added every month, so there’s always something to look forward to. You can also request features and vote on feature requests.

Absolutely Perfect if Only...
The subscription wasn’t so darn high. I’d pay that much upfront to own it, but that amount as a recurring subscription just isn’t feasible for me to spend on journaling - regardless of how perfect the app is.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m happy to go for a subscription, but only at a reduced price point. As I’m looking for a long term alternative to paper journaling; I’m not really keen on spending this amount on a yearly recurring basis. There are cheaper electronic alternatives that don’t have the bells and whistles - which aren’t really needed when journaling. They’re nice to have, sure, but not essential to be able to journal.

Amazing
Absolutely amazing app. I love it because I can express my creativity whilst caring for the environment. It’s great because I’m not that good at drawing but can still create beautiful journals. My only suggestion would be to enable passwords on certain journals of your choice so that people can’t just access and read them. Other than that absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t live without it now!

Exactly what I’ve been looking for
Perfect. Some minor bugs, such as it freezing or crashing but it’s not often. It automatically saves so just refresh the app and your good to go. Developers are really taking on user comments and the update was amazing. Can’t wait to see whats in the next one.
Got to sell all my other scrapbooking/journaling stuff. It’s an expensive hobby and this condenses it to one yearly payment. I’ve spent more on this craft per year.
It’s clean which makes it even more beautiful.
