Why isn't there an option to make an additional payment? Why call you to do it? It should be in the app - do you want to make a payment?

I found this app very useful except for one flaw that I found very disappointing. Otherwise it will be particularly helpful for those who like to monitor their finances in their palm instead of via their PC or over the phone. Upon opening, there’s two icon tabs at the bottom, ‘dashboard’ & ‘account’. Your dashboard is a simple & precise layout with your ‘total payable’ amount that you were given to pay from the start, ‘remaining to pay’ amount and ‘total paid’ amount first. There’s a coloured progress bar that runs along the top underneath your agreement number and ‘00 out of 00 months’ left tally which is great for visual learners/a quick glance. You can click your payment history next to the ‘total paid’ amount and see the paid direct debits as well as the dates to ensure everything’s going out monthly on time. I like how it advises you at the bottom in a small font that payments can take 1 business day to appear on your account as I’m guessing some people do call in worrying. You get your ‘next payment’ info like amount, date, option to change it and make a manual payment button. Then lastly; your details, your cars details and contact preferences conclude the dashboard page. Do select/deselect marketing preferences in ‘contact preferences’ (sms, post, email, phone) to your choice to ensure you do or don’t get the type of marketing contact you want from Oodle & their 3rd party partners. I deselected all. Halfway down the dashboard page, there are a few icon shortcuts for requesting a settlement, changing your vehicle registration, changing payment date or details and viewing your agreement. (Clicking ‘view agreement’ only results in a request to do so, not immediate access to it. A prompt states they will send it ‘immediately to your inbox’ but I did not try this so don’t know how quick it actually is sorry). On the account tab page, your email address is displayed at the top. You then get options to change both your app password or app pin that you created upon app registration. Aswell as options to amend the apps auto lock time duration, enable Face ID lock/unlock for capable iOS models and here is where the log out function is. The only thing I hated about the app…. You can amend your address, but you cannot change your phone number – you must ring in to do so or use the live chat function during office hours according to the FAQs and help section. Some people cannot do either as some work during these hours and/or take a very short break/lunch hours so cannot be potentially waiting on call centres switchboards or hold for long periods to do this. Why they allow you to change addresses where potentially confidential financial letters can go yet not change a simple phone number where SIM cards are interchangeable – I do not know. This was extremely disappointing for me. Otherwise cool graphics, easily readable layout and info, easily lockable contact info which can also be googled. Responsive, quick & never slow. Appealing UI, opens quickly, smoothly. Non tech savvy users will be able to navigate. Only glitched on me once, when I deselected marketing info - it kicked me out the app while I was doing so. But I retried it successfully. Never had problems again. App is never down or inaccessible. 4.9/5

Very easy to make changes and cool to access your account

I have been unable to access this app since installing. I have up to date software, but cannot get past the ‘set your six digit pin’ page.

Unable to get any answers from Oodle.

I have tried unloading, deleting and starting again, but it keeps reoccurring.

Set up a new car finance agreement, have tried numerous times to log in to this app, changed password and still doesn’t work.

Very poor app does not work when making payments not worked for 6 months or more made payment and showing as missed payment not quick to resolving issues don’t bother better finance companies out there

My experience with Oodle has been a pleasant surprise. They’ve been a company that seems genuinely interested in working with me and any unforeseen issues I may face with regard to payments. I have found Oodle to be flexible and helpful as a self employed person who often has to wait for my own invoices to be paid.

Since upgrading my iPhone I can’t open the app , I have deleted it , then re installed it and still can’t open it , please help and get it sorted

Took out finance with Oodle back in October 2019, never had any problems. Easy to access the app. Over all a great service.

Hello I can’t thank you guys enough I am currently going through a messy divorce and was still having to stay connected to my wife through a shared car paying a large amount of money every month for it as well as having to still remain constantly in touch and always knowing that she could ask for it back anytime these guys have given me back my independence to move forward not worry about having to get to work it’s half the amount every month in payments to my ex and now I can move forward many thanks

The app does not recognise my email and password repeatedly. I can log in fine online so will just delete it as it is useless.

So, you’re here because you’ve recently took out finance with Oodle? Yeah, me too. Oodle as a company seem to be good, they’re legit, they’re regulated, and they’re on hand to help, from a customer service and finance company perspective they do everything right.

Apps? Yeah, no. They fail massively at that, I’m hoping they will sort this out very soon, but right now as many other people have stated, you download the app, login, and it’s great! You see your policy agreement, dates and amount left to pay - but as soon as you close the app down, that’s it. To access it, you need to reinstall it and then redownload it all over again, everytime.

Alongside that, myself and a few others from what I can see downloaded the app to make early payments - of course it’s a lot more user friendly to do it this way than ringing up and waiting on hold for an answer, although it’s hugely lacking this feature, assumingly because they want as much money as possible from interest and want to make paying it off early harder, but then do you really want to finance with a company that care more about money than the people they associate with?

Alright, look, Oodle seem… ok. I trust them, if they listen to their customers, read the reviews and do ask they ask, hopefully adding a way to make early payments via the app and stopping the stupid token / data glitch that happens everytime you want to access the app, then I’m sure we will all be relived and much happier!

This looks a well written app. But every 3 or 4 times you open it it crashes and I have to uninstall and reinstall to work.

Other than that it’s fine.

You can only use the app a handful of times before it stops working. Absolute pain in the neck .

I have had to download this app 5 times in the past 2 months. The app lets you log in to view your finance once downloaded but when you come out of it and try to go back on a few days later, it just says ‘Cannot access your data / Missing/Invalid access token’ and this has happened every time I’ve downloaded it!

Won’t even recognise my log in details, had to use a browser instead to log into my account. Crap

The app keeps crashing, I’ve signed in, then works for a day or 2 then, it won’t let me sign in, or even open

What a fantastic app, I loved how easy it was to apply! The interesting facts when submitting were great and I would encourage anyone applying for finance to finance with Oodle!

Application always not working ?

Whole point I downloaded the app was because I was hoping it would have an option to be able to make extra payments and it does not. All you can do is view your finance details and change payment details/date of direct payment 😒

I like this app to keep you updated with your payments... do think u could add.. face recognition... also an extra payment option would be helpful 😊

I have the ability to view my all of the important information about my loan at the touch of a button. Super user friendly, I highly recommend!
