Description

Moleskine Journey is a life planner created to design your day.
Designed for creative minds, independent workers, audacious backpackers, and free spirits, Moleskine Journey uniquely combines the best features of productivity apps (calendars, events, to-do lists, tasks, reminders, and notes) with features for personal growth and self-care (habit trackers and journals).
With our life planner you can organize and document any aspect of your life from one single app.
With Moleskine Journey you can enjoy recording your days, your goals, your priorities, your special moments and habits in one place.
Daily reminders, to do lists and calendars will keep you schedule your important self-care moments and stay on top on your work/life activities. Journals will help you record meaningful day-to-day interactions and thoughts to keep track of the things that matter most to you.
Use your creativity to uniquely combine productivity features with personal growth and self-care tools to create your unique life planner. Express yourself like never before.
Use our collection of Journal templates, their features let you journal on many topics.
Templates currently available: the routine journal, the sleep journal, the mood journal, the expenses journal, the mindfulness journal, the food journal, the gratitude journal, mental health journal, and the weight tracking journal.
But what make our journals special and unique is the possibility to customize them with custom prompts and type of entries, such as photos, link, quotes, tasks, and much more. So if you don’t find the journal that suit your needs you can always create one of your own or hack the existing ones.
HOW DOES A LIFE PLANNER WORK?
Here's how you can use our app every day to stay on top of your work and your life.
Start your day by opening the app and checking your calendar events and tasks for the day.
Then, open your journal and set up customizable prompts to create a taylor-made journal. Write down your intentions for the day and any thoughts that come to mind, so you can be more aware of your emotions and feelings every day.
Plan your work and personal tasks in the to-do lists and check them off as you complete them to make sure you're moving according to your goals and priorities.
Use the weekly list for work to plan everything in advance and mark off tasks day by day. If the list isn't fully completed by the end of the week, move the unfinished tasks to the following week.
For your well-being, keep a daily routine that repeats each day. Track your activities, such as reading, meditating, and drinking water, in Moleskine Journey. You can create a daily routine to tick off each activity or create a specific journal for each activity you care about.
At the end of the day, record your mood, finish your journal entries, and plan some activities for the next day.
This is how you can use the app, but there are many more features and ways to use the life planner.
Our idea is to create a modular system where you can adapt your experience according to your needs and goals.
Moleskine Journey is a membership service with a free trial. Download the app free to try it out without restriction. After the trial period you can choose to purchase a membership which allows unlimited use across all of your devices. Without an active membership, you can still use the app in read-only mode.

You need a designer to fix it up

The app is great but as a designer I can’t bare using it anymore. One massive fix that would help massively and is easy to achieve… change the font/ typeface and the kerning (space between letters). It looks god awful at the minute. Use San Francisco or for a more relaxed look SF Pro Rounded.
If your not willing to change the font, fix the kerning on the habits/ journals!! And make titles bold.
It’s not natural for the eyes to read sentences that fit on one line over three. I find myself reading like a child in my mind as the content is going in so slow.

so close

useful, really want it to take that next step and become better, by advancing some of its operations. The only big downside which is why it has 3 stars instead of 4 is the glitching. annoying when you are relying on it. the need to resync it and the fact i seem unable to make it constantly relevant to my lifestyle (which i admit is probably some of my own issues of being overly complicated). it does update and get better features slowly. I am still happy with it.

Finally have found what I wanted

I have searched for years and paid a premium for apps that just don’t cut it. This app is fantastic. I can see my whole week and day just how I want it. It has helped me plan so much where I have struggled in the past to do with other apps. I have paid my subscription which is extremely cheap compared to others.
Well done Moleskin. A truly brilliant app

3h of work to waste

After working for 3h on a project, a message popped saying it was reconnecting and that all the changes will sync once the connection would be back but I was online! I was using Assana and safari while the app spent 30 mins “loading” and then all the changes I had done on my project were erased… this is not some “free service” and it’s supposed to be used for working purposes… UNACCEPTABLE!

Almost Brilliant (Support)

This is one stylish journal. fluid. practical and a pleasure to look at. The best I've seen online.
The glitches; my weekly journal disappeared after flipping between the main screen annd the Trash Bin. I 've lost the info and after eleven days and four messages, haven't heard if I can get it back.
This is a stunning piece of software and it is regularly improved but data security is key for me. If imy info is recovered this review goes to 5 stars.

Liking it so far

Ideally wanted an app to track my habits in a simple way however I am such a fan of Moleskin notebooks that I gave this a try. I thought there was a free version and then was charged for a yealy subscription so not sure if this is not clear or I just missed it, but so far so good :)

Expensive

I bought a yearly subscription after using it for the first free week. Then I realised that I was also paying for Moleskin studio. All in all Moleskin are taking about 50 quid a year off me. Why isn’t Moleskin journal in the studio bundle? One will have to go.

Promising but ultimately disappointing

I don’t often write reviews but I feel so aggrieved that I have to get this out.
I have been using Moleskine for around two years now.
I loved it at first - it was the first time I came across an app that allowed me to brain dump ideas, make lists, manage tasks, create project pages, all while being integrated with my calendar, and a home screen which allowed me to track my mood and daily agenda. Most importantly, it was simple and easy to use.
However, each update has changed the way the app looks and operates (a bit like Facebook does) and it is certainly not always for the better.
The latest update is so bad I have cancelled my subscription. Everything I used the app for (simplicity, organisation) is now redundant. Navigating around is clunky and I don’t like it - nothing flows anymore. The Home Screen looks ugly. The way that different sections are situated doesn’t flow for me anymore.
The app has also always been glitchy and I often have to restart the app. I thought if I persevere it would eventually get better but it hasn’t. I use other apps like Trello, Mindlist, Habits, and these all seem to flow as if they are an Apple app. Moleskine simply does not compete.
Sorry guys but you have lost me with this update. Best of luck but I’m out ✌️

New version doesn’t work for me.

This is (or at least was) a brilliant app that I thoroughly enjoyed using. I subscribed for the year as i was fully committed to using this and was happy with how the app functioned.
This new update is not what I’ve paid for. I understand that there’s always an adjustment period, but I shouldn’t be forced to get used to a new way of using the app if the old system was preferred, and better yet, worked.
I’ll be emailing to enquire about a refund unless the previous version is reinstated.
Previous version - 5 stars!

Version 1.0.290
2022-07-20

Used to be amazing… then they updated it.

This app was genuinely fantastic, albeit glitchy sometimes, but I’ll take the glitches any day over the update! It used to be fully functional, in that you could add events to your calendar directly in this app, schedule tasks and appointments and generally just run your life plus a journal here or a tracker there, great stuff. It also looked beautiful with multiple customisation features.
All that functionality has been taken away now. I suspect because Moleskine are trying to convince customers to subscribe to Moleskine Studio, which is a three-app bundle. I’d rather pay more for Journey! Who wants three apps when you could pretty much do it all in one? Certainly not my ADHD brain. Genuinely, ADHD. Not being flippant. The Studio apps all function together which is great but they also have massive overlap which makes me think that they have basically taken the functionality of Journey and split it into two and a bit pieces to create the three Studio apps. There’s too much overlap to need them all but not enough functionality to not have them all!
Journey worked brilliantly with my neurodivergent grey matter but now I have to skip around apps inputting calendar events in one, tasks in another and giving Flow a wide berth as it is particularly pointless, in my opinion. Unless you can draw/write skilfully with your finger on your phone or have a stylus handy at all times, it is rubbish!
I now seem to have the option of having Journey in its new, diseased state running alongside the generic Apple calendar (for inputting events) or I get rid of Journey and skip around between the three Studio apps trying not to forget to input things and also where I put them. What I will probably do is cut my losses and find a different planner app altogether.

Oh Dear.

This newest update is just awful. It’s a big change and perhaps I am just not seeing the option, but I don’t seem to be able to customise the specific boxes I have on my daily journal.
I don’t seem to be able to revert back to the previous about either which I absolutely would implore the developers to include as soon as possible as this version just isn’t pleasing from a visual or productivity stand point for me.
I’m hoping for some changes to this newest version soon or else I am not sure I will wish to keep my subscription and will need to look elsewhere.

Hate the new update

I’ve been using this app for almost two years, I loved the simplicity and ease of use. The recent update is awful, the user experience is not intuitive. It’s clunky to use, I press on one thing and it opens another. It also keeps signing me out and it takes a long time to load. Such a shame as I used to rave about this app and used it multiple times a day for organising my personal and work life. I’ll unfortunately now have to find an alternative.

So Frustrated!!!

I bought this app (unknowingly just before the ‘update’) advertised for Creatives.
I loved the ability to change themes and have so much in one place, planner and journals synchronised. It wasn’t cheap at just under £14 on special offer, but I went for it and wasn’t disappointed.
Then One morning this week everything changed.
The update removes the planner, so now instead of everything being in one place, you have to leave the app. Use another calendar app and then return to Moleskine Journey 🤷🏼‍♂️Crazy!
This no longer feels like it’s for creatives and I feel like I’ve wasted my money- literally one week ago I was planning a 5* Review

Buggy and poor interface

The new interface is a step backwards - I'm not sure what prompted the change when the team don't normally seem to respond to user feedback. On that subject, I feel that this is more a case of style over function - there's too much effort put into pointless redesigns and not enough into fixing issues. Currently, there are problens with journal entries not being saved, a disappearing cursor in the journal and issues with selecting calendars to appear in the planner. I only recently subscribed but beginning to feel I will probably cancel before long...

Update: The worst app update in the history of app updates.

Upon further use of this "new" version, I just have to add that the developers have taken a beautiful app, with some minor flaws, and turned into exactly the opposite of what it was. It used to be a simple app, unburdened by all the "extras" that other habit trackers have. I could in the main view see how all of my habits were progressing through the week. I could add tasks to my timeline. I could see my full pics without having to click on a thumbnail to view them. For my "mood of the day" I could, in one click, note my mood. Now it takes several because it has been made so convoluted a process.
Journey brought simplicity and beauty into my daily routine. It was a pleasure to use. This "new" version is the opposite. Bloated, overdone, ugly, and onerous.
I tried for years to find something to help my workflow. I finally found it in Journey and was happy to use it every day. "New" Journey is not an improvement. If this had been the original version, I never would have tried it in the first place.
I feel sad and, I must say, angry that the developers have gone this route. This is not a good update and I will be cancelling my subscription which, unfortunately renewed just weeks prior to the update.
....Original review....
What a terrible update. Where is the beautiful interface in which I can arrange my habits and have things the way I like them? The main view does not show my pics of the day except in tiny thumbnails. I cannot mov things around. I cannot see my weekly habit progress in the main view. This is just terrible. I was using this every day. No more. And I will not be renewing my subscription unless the former version comes back.

Just terrible. The worst update in the history of updates.

Just want to let you guys know that I will not be using this app anymore, nor will I continue with my subscription. I do not know where you got the idea that such a radical change in how the user interfaces with the app was a good thing. Now the app is absolutely terrible.
I do not want my daily diary/tasks at the top of the page. I want to put a couple of things there at the top. Now I am not allowed to do that.
I do not want to just see that current day’s habit. I want to see the full week. I do not want to click to see that. I do not want my pic of the day to show up as a thumbnail. I want the full pic to show as it had in the past. I want to see the calendar for the month on my main page so that with one click I can go forward or back as I wish.
The list of things that you have ruined with this app is quite large, just suffice it to say that you really, completely and totally blew it. And I am not at all happy.

Gets worse with every update

Absolutely despise the new version. This was my favourite productivity app as you could do everything in one place (daily to do, projects, habit and mood tracker, linking calendars, etc) and also loved how customisable it was - was so useful AND aesthetically pleasing. Really don’t understand what they’re trying to do with the new version (except adding pie charts) - it looks worse, it can’t be customised, the ugly font is back, it doesn’t look like you can hide completed tasks anymore. On top of that, google calendar has been unlinked and a lot of tasks on my to do list have disappeared - I got everything how I wanted it and now I have to put in extra time and effort to sort it out. Really annoyed because I just paid this years annual subscription - it’s a lesson to not to subsribe to apps because the developers can completely change it for better or (in this case) for worse. This same thing also happened last year. No more chances - finding a better system and getting rid of this app for good 👎🏻

The reviews about bugs are true

I thought the other reviews here would be mere moans reflecting a point in time where a release wasn't up to the usual standard. However - despite the fact these reviews are over a year old the same major bugs exist.
How can an app that costs so much have such an awful buggy experience?
I'd be ashamed if my development team and QA team let that out.
This app has amazing potential - who ever is running it has let themselves and Moleskin down. I will be happy to change this when the app gets the love it deserves (its not like people aren't paying you).
Until then - you should avoid using this app. It's not fit for purpose and is full of really obvious bugs

More style than substance... needs fixed

The app looks pretty and there is possibility for the user to customise their day page with various functions to their preferences. This is a great feature as I was able to rename sections to my preference. Also being able to have the app on both IOS and MAC is a major benifit.
However, the app's use as a calender is questionable. Compared to timepages it's far more difficult to input events due to the events creation page. It's far quicker for me to input the dates into the standard apple calander and then use the app for the layout. However, at a cost of £22.00 per year the app simply doesn't justify its cost.
There were also frequent glitches with parts of the layout disappearing, events being set to the wrong date and the app crashing when attempting to use the attachment function.
Love the premise of the app and the features the app porports to have, however in it's current form then; it's not practically useable, not worth the money, and while pretty works less well than the standard apple calander.
If i had the choice between the app in its current form and having timepages on IOS, I would choose Timepages. For now I will stick to the standard apple calander on IOS but may look to try it again if the issues get fixed.

Pretty good for habit stacking

Hesitating between three and four stars. The main problem is that the stats are wrong. The app seems unable to count! If one of your challenges has been going for 16 days and you have skipped six and done seven, for example, that should come to 13. Even manually counting the days you’ve done does not match the days it counts. Not the end of the world but this is basic computing. It might relate to backfilling for example if you are changing a count historically because you forgot to do it on a different day. But on the whole pretty good for habit stacking.

Very pretty - can't see the point

I'll start off by saying that having to subscribe to get out of "read only" mode to test the features is a -1 star to begin with.
Other than that, it's very pretty to look at but I'm struggling to understand the problem that it's solving.
Yes, it's great to be able to see appointments and reminders in one list (are you listening Apple?). I hoped that I would be able to assign Tasks to a Calendar entry - a bit like Agenda does. But that's a no. The Tasks are simply an extra set of reminders that reside within the App - so you have Apple Reminders and Moleskine Tasks to deal with.
They've flung a few extras at it too - Mood, Goals etc. But, all in all, it looks like a solution looking for a problem.

Getting over-complicated. Please declutter!

The app used to be great. A bit glitchy, but still great.
But recent updates just keep on over-complicating things. Please stay true with the minimalist appeal.
The classic Moleskin font is beautiful and fine. You don’t need to jazz it up. The new font has way too much space between letters, which makes each task take more lines than necessary, which then make us scroll so much more!
To make matters worse, now I have to scroll through a dozen of “ M T W T F S S”s just to make an entry.
Please fix.

Yikes - Still not really useable

I really want to love this app. It's beautiful however since inception, it has always been style over substance and stability. So I was very excited to try out the refreshed app launched today.
Really really dissapointed so far. The UI is all over the place and illogical, the app crashes when you try and attach something to a calendar entry, you can't scroll to specific dates when making a calendar entry, when you click on the button at the top, it opens up some options but when you click on them, you only get a description of what that option does - you can't actually add something such as a task, calendar entry, etc.
All in all, it's very surprising from such a distinguished brand such as Moleskine. One can only assume they've stopped funding the app's development.

Just getting time consuming

I really want to like this app. But it has become over complex, too many little things. It just becomes a pop-up reminder, which iOS already has extremely good basic tools for doing. Much of the interface looks pretty, but the response to Apples Magic keyboard (and other touch surfaces) is poorly implemented.
I really just wanted a decent tool, that offers a basic way to manage a todo list, capture my thoughts, etc. Ideally based on GSD methods. But it’s just become too much of a beast because someone keeps throwing in more and more stuff rather than keeping it simple.
I’ve now stopped using it.

Game changer

Great app for just organising my life and getting things out my head. Loving the new style and updates as improvements keep getting made

Fantastic but useless

This app is truly incredible. Both at serving daily reminders and a useful errand tracker as well as making positive life choices through the app’s ability to set goals you want to achieve. The user interface is comprehensive but simple and obvious in the best sense of the word(s). The app has a very slick design and a lot of fantastic features like integrating your native phones reminders, calendars etc. So it’s all in one streamlined and inclusive app. The benefits me personally a lot just because of how I chop and change which reminder app.
The design itself is very beautiful like all moleskin products is very aesthetically pleasing.
My only negative with this app is the fact that unfortunately the app does not load more times than it does load for me. I often have to close and reopen it several times to actually be able to use it, even after later updates where bugs are reported to be fixed. For context I use an iPhone XR so whilst it isn’t currently the newest phone it should definitely be able to handle this app. As soon as the bugs genuinely get fixed I will update my review to reflect the 5* nature of the app when working harmoniously but until then I feel disappointed and shortchanged paying a subscription for a crashing app I rarely reap the benefits of.

Great App, could add more to it

Loving this app, paid for the subscription. It’s simple, but has some unique features. Just wish there were more widgets to add. It’s worth trying out just for the daily photo journal if anything.

fantastic organiser

I have been using this app for around 3 weeks now and it has transformed how I organise my life. As a creative it is much better suited to how I think. I very rarely leave reviews but if you are a creative and are looking for a tool to manage your life I haven't come accross a better one. Well woth paying for the subscription as well.
My only critique is that the animations around the daily planner and inputting a new task are a little clunky. A smoother experience when inputting tasks would be the cherry on top of this already excelent cake.

Disappointed

So basically, the app needs a subscription just to be able to write notes 😂😂😂 Its ridiculous, at least let a user try your app first without having to get into any subscription...Its asking for all your data then tell you about the subscription...
My suggestion would be to let at least make one function free for a user so they can see if your app worth the subscription as they are thousands other great alternatives... The app itself doesn't make you want to have a subscription, its a note taking app at the end of the day which is pretty much free anyway if you use your built in Apple note taking app...

iOS/iPad OS is mostly great, Mac is Meh

I mostly enjoy using the iOS and iPad versions of the app, and along with Timepage these have taken over my calendar and my ToDo list. Unfortunately I think this app is trying to do too much, and it's not doing it well enough. the Mac version has lodes of bugs, like adding a new task and clicking save doesn't close the new task window (so you assume it hasn't worked), so you keep clicking save, then have a dozen versions of the Task... I don't fully understand everything yet, so maybe that is some of the problem with the app, but overall I think the Mac Version needs some work in order to make this app fulfill its potential.

Best I’ve found

Loving this app, it’s really clear and simple to use, and it just works. I know subscribing to this will be a great investment for me. I have ADHD so the clarity of this app really help. I’m also a bit of a disorganised musician and teacher, so being able to plan and see things so clearly is a godsend. I’ve tried ‘em all, and I like this one best. Give it a go.
Edit:
Found the lates update to be a bit of a nightmare. It’s totally changed the app :( can’t navigate it anymore. Down from 5 stars to 2.

Can only be used with subscription

I am interested in life and work planning as beneficial approaches. I like the brand. I downloaded the app, answered all sorts of probing questions about what I’d like to plan, change and improve and was then told I couldn’t use the app without paying an annual/monthly fee.
Companies should not entice you in to capture your personal preferences before they tell you you’ll have to pay to get any benefit from that captured “marketing” personal data.

LOL You gotta pay to TRY it

Waste of time, it’s classed as free and you’re only able to view the app until you pay £25. I’m sure the person who responds to reviews will try to defend themselves by saying they “try to be as clear as possible” when it comes to showing how much it costs. Free? Sure, I’ll try it - oops, you can’t even use it without paying.
SCAM and AVOID.

Access

Really good app and has made me stick to some sort of routine apart from the lack of access to it on numerous occasions. I haven’t been able to access it for a few days now.

Not good.

Can’t see the app in full until you sign up and choose the trial and the paid option you’d like. . Can’t cancel the subscription before first payment as it’s not in subscriptions list. Presume it will show up there once they’ve got the £3.99 out of me for first month. Sneaky

This, is the best of its type...

I have tried all apps in this genre, from the big players like Evernote and todoist and things 3, down to the lesser one’s.
Journal by Moleskin, is in its simplest terms just a pleasure to use. It is a powerfully crafted, understated clutter free environment in which to map your life.
No glitches, works smoothly and the app support is friendly and speedy. Just excellent!

More widgets please....

Aesthetically pleasing UI but where are the widgets? Unlike the other Moleskin apps (where there are quite a few widgets) this app only has three to choose from. One of which is dedicated solely to the timings of the sunrise, sunset and moon phases. Hardly relevant to monitoring and achieving daily goals.
Add more (relevant) widgets please!
Thank you

Good, but not worth it until they fix things

This would honestly have a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the bugs and them not fixing it. I’ve read lots of reviews that say they have had the same issue but for some reason no one fixes them. The main issue is that your unfinished tasks in both your planner and daily goals do not move across. You end up having to re-write all of them which is very time consuming. Considering this app is for organisation and getting into better habits etc, it actually causes more stress and frustration! It looks nice yes, but it’s functionality is really poor at the moment. I’ve emailed them again now to fix this issue and hopefully they actually will this time! Would be a great app that I would recommend to anyone, BUT not until these issues are fixed. So really no point in subscribing/downloading the app until the issues are addressed. It’s a shame :(

It just works

I have tried so many of these Apps and this is the only one that makes sense to me. Really easy to use and the features are so useful and interchangeable. Love that I can track habits and also write notes directly with Apple Pencil into My Day. Perfect mix between digital and written planning, I sometimes even attach plans from my paper diary as a PDF, feels great to have such flexibility. Love it.

quite glitchy and zero customer service

I have sent 3 ‘feedbacks’ and received no response despite the promise within 48 hours. Is there a way to change the order of projects, to prioritise your main ones? and is there a way to change the order of tasks in ‘Today’s Goals’. All i want to do is create a list of things and change the order i.e. prioritise them.

Great concept, but buggy

It is everything I want from an app, just a shame it crashes or is buggy when trying to move between iPad and iPhone

Glitches A LOT

I like the app, I like the layout and the idea of it but it takes forever to load and it glitches too often. I tried to change the times for my reminders and tasks and it will not.

...

I love the idea of this app, and I think that if I could I would use it almost everyday. The principle is so well thought through and it seems like it would be useful.
There is only one problem, and unfortunately it is quite a big one: pricing. For some people, an app that doesn’t have a subscription is better- an upfront payment would be so much easier, especially for people who don’t have much money to spare. The pricing is £14 a year. Couldn’t you just have an upfront payment of £10 and be done with it?
Honestly, a bit disappointed but it’s a great idea and I’m sure it’s great with the subscription, just doesn’t work for me.

Great app, but quite glitchy on all devices

Still worth the subscription! It's the first app that ever made me stick to a routine, very helpful in creating positive habits, such as meditating, journalling or doing a gratitude list daily. It really has motivated me and helped me stick to a long streak across many positive habits. The app is beautiful and UX is very good, however, it does feel a bit glitchy on iPad, Mac and even on the iPhone. It is often slow, crashes at random times, and sync can be slow. I do write my journal on all devices and it can take a while for changes to appear on another device. Overall I still love it and subscribed for an annual plan, although I do hope it will get smoother and faster over time! Keep up the great work team!!! This app made me a big fan of all Moleskine apps and I'm now also a Studio user!

Apple Pencil Support - Awesome!!

Downloaded this a few weeks ago (I already use Timepage and love it). Really love the layout, it’s both clean and it looks great. The only thing missing for me was the ability to use my Apple Pencil.
Hey presto!! This morning I noticed that it now supports Apple Pencil and I love it!!!!!
It drops a star purely because I’d like to be able to use the pencil in all parts of the app - the planner too.
Overall though the app is exactly what I want - it’s a digital (and therefore far more organised!) Filofax - I now have no excuse not to be ‘organised’!!
Not sure what else can be added but looking forward to finding out 🙂 - I’d love the ability to pay a one off charge rather than the subscription method please.

Fixed bugs?! HA

What a load of crap! Visually this app is fantastic, productivity however is useless especially if you want to use tasks or planning. I’ve tried it free, I’ve tried it paid, I’ve given feedback, I’ve waited through numerous updates and STILL the recurring tasks and planner have never been fixed even though I’ve been told it will be. Even adding times to tasks doesn’t keep them in order. My god, I’ve got free, and more simple apps that can manage thus and I’m supposed to pay £30 a year?! Yeah right. I’m cancelling the £11 offer I got and I give up. My advice would be offer cheaper apps if they aren’t going to work or better yet fix the main functions

Gorgeous! And a big hope...

I love the look and feel of this app. It’s clean and simple and a one stop shop for digital journalling. I enjoyed my free trial, but I didn’t subscribe this time around because I would dearly love for it to have Apple Pencil support, especially for the Journal entry section. Also with Apple’s new “Scribble” feature coming out later this year I think it would be really useful for the app to support a stylus. I also loved the welcome email! What lovely customer support :) I am going to be keeping my eye on this one to see what features get added etc.

Would be good

This app would be amazing and I was so excited to use it! Then after creating an account and agreeing to all of the privacy policies ectc I went on to the app and it said I could only view it! If I wanted to actually use the app I had to pay money that I can’t spend on a calendar/ planner/ journal. I am really disappointed and, if you don’t want to pay that kind of money then it is completely useless. I would love to see Moleskin put out a simpler design that didn’t cost so much money. I hope you find this review helpful!

Finally

I love Moleskine paper dairy but have had to move to an app and I have been waiting years for this app. And thrilled it is Moleskine who have done it. Finally everything in one place.
Only thing that would be useful is tasks integrated with Apple Watch and allow Apple Pencil to write on the notes and project. Hence the 4 stars.

Good but not quite great

Just need to iron out a few glitches. It is sometimes unresponsive or tasks appear again after being completed, to name just two.

FIX THIS BUG!!!!

Love the app and paid for premium but when I am in the project section typing something, every 5 seconds the keyboard automatically just disappears and the page scrolls to the top of the page. Which is very annoying as I then have to scroll back down to where I was typing and then click again to begin typing. Very frustrating !!!!

Excellent app with lots of potential

I had written an initial review of this app but the problem I brought up regarding calendar integration has already been addressed swiftly. As a result I have bumped my review up to 5 stars.
After spending more time with it I am finding more and more ways to integrate this app into my setup. It’s versatility is a huge asset and I look forward to seeing where they take it going forwards.

What happened?

I preferred the old event handling system. I want Journey to be separate from my iOS calendar. Please bring back the Journey calendar or at least the choice to use either Journey or iOS.
