Experience is average
I bought the annual subscription thinking I would have full access but I only got 50% access. I wish I’d known that before hand or I wouldn’t have paid it because the information provided I can get easily from other sources and the Tarot cards make no sense to my questions..they are on a completely different topic. I only downloaded it because i like the idea of the birth chart…If you download the app for the birth chart extras, purchase that and don’t bother purchasing the premium subscription because it isn’t included which I feel I have been had. The app design is lovely and warm and the information is well written and inviting but I feel like I’ve wasted 3 hours pay for this when it was very under whelming. I wish I could get a refund but that’s hard to do with these app’s especially when subscribing. I would rather pay a 1 time £40 to see a physical psychic for an hour than use this app for a year.

I decided to try out Moonly for a free trial and see what it is about. The online reviews seem to be varied, with many saying good things. I thought I’d give it a go. Immediately, it asks you to BUY MORE! For the app to work in full you need to buy the birth chart add-on. I thought I cancelled the subscription correctly and accidentally got charged. I kindly and calmly asked for it to be taken away within 20minutes of the charge. They declined. It then said I can ask again with more details. I politely asked again and said it is just not for me. Usually this work 9/10 because honesty and trust goes a long way in this world. Not with Moonly. They declined again. I just purchased the birth chart because I thought I might as well use the app for its purposes if I have it for a year! I put my details in and it has read my entire birth chart wrong, saying I’m a Capricorn when I’m an Aquarius, my moon is cancer when it’s Leo. It did get my rising sign correct so that’s why I’m leaving a review. I don’t want this app and yet I have to have it!

WRONG INFORMATION
The moon tonight is in Virgo? The app says Leo. The birth-chart is a complete rip off for a lack of better words. And there’s no way to freely explore the features of the app before payment which is a huge red flag. Even if I paid, the information is no doubt incorrect.
I gave 2 stars and not 1 because of the nice GUI and overall branding. Shame so much money is invested here though and not in quality content for users that aren’t so gullible.

Disappointing - paywall
I used a free trial of this app and liked it - I’ve just paid £39.99 for the lifetime subscription only to find all the personalised suggestions are only included on the birth chart, behind a paywall of another £30. Really disappointing and feels deceitful to not declare this before people pay. I will end up paying £70 for an app if I want the full features - I’d never have subscribed in the first place had I known.

Birth Chart Info Needed
It’s a great app, full of great information. The only issue I have is although I’ve paid for the yearly subscription, I still can’t sync the info to my birth date unless I purchase the Birth Chart, which I think is a little too expensive as I’ve already paid subscription fee. The Birth Chart that is so expensive gives different results I don’t connect to + not much information. So basic. It’s basically a bunch of nice graphics visually & some words, that’s it!! Not very meaningful or life-changing. I’m really disappointed. What a waste!

I have been informed by the app developer that the “Free 3 Day Trial” is conditional on you taking up a year’s subscription. Thus, I have been invoiced for a year’s subscription which I didn’t want. Apple are refusing to refund me. Very disappointed!!!!

I was hopeful, and I think it had a good start, but almost everything is behind a paywall. Also, the moon and the birth chart is inconsistent with other providers. I am also so disappointed that, despite paying for a birth chart reading, you don’t unlock the “full” chart reading in the app. I don’t feel like the chart gave me ANY information that you can’t find for free online. And there’s another charge if I want more information, and for all I know there’s another after that! I would like a refund, honestly, but it’s not at all clear how to do that.
I appreciate the aesthetic of the app, and the general information they give is detailed and easy to understand. I think it’s evident that a lot of work has been put in, but the pricing is so disappointing and I don’t think it’s at all clear what you’re buying in the one time purchase versus the subscription versus the basic free app.
I don’t want to undermine the clear work that’s gone into this, but the pricing is so unclear and poor. Really sad

The free version is good for an idea of what you can get from the app. I opted for pay monthly and didn’t get full access to everything else and this is a deal breaker for me. If I paid a full subscription fee for the year I assume it would unlock everything else but there is no way of finding out. Uses a wrong system
As a Scorpio with Moon in Capricorn I was deeply insulted to be impugned as being Sun in Libra and Moon in Sagittarius. Insulting and wrong. And if you knew me you’d realise how laughable that is.
Now I know this app uses a different system, so they will claim that it’s correct and that Western astrology has it wrong, and if that’s what you believe then that’s your lookout. But they’re still wrong.
On the plus side the app looks very nice and works smoothly, but anyone who accuses me of being a Libra is a dick and therefore this app is a dick.

Great app idea, but overloaded experience
I found the app really hard to navigate. There appears to be no conventional links or buttons. More importantly, I tried the birth chart feature. The app didn’t even have my basic birth sign right! I navigated out of the chart, and due to UI overload, cannot find the chart again. It’s a great app idea, but needs better organisation - and accuracy.

Birth chart is completely off
I was born 25 march 2001 at 11:15pm and by a lot of sources my sun moon and rising is Aries Aries cancer but it’s saying Pisces Pisces Gemini? (And all the other planets are obviously incorrect too) Everything else about the app is amazing and beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing I’m just unable to use the birth chart section as it’s really inaccurate. I feel like this then makes the daily activity section off aswell?

Disappointed - Highly inaccurate
I decided to do a tarot reading and being a tarot reader myself I thought it would be interesting! However, the first card was the king of pentacles and they stated this was an air sign. Pentacles are linked to earth signs. Air signs are swords. This inaccuracy has me questioning everything else now. Is the moon information accurate or have they just typed anything in?? Really disappointed because I’ve paid for a year’s subscription of this. It runs out in February so I’ve been using it for all these months and now I’m left questioning the validity of all that I’ve seen. Plus, who needs to know an good day for a hair cut. Thought the moon was about emotions? Wouldn’t it be better to provide optimum days to deal with challenges. What about a good day to clear the air or to tackle difficult emotions?? Drop the haircut it’s ridiculous and adds to me questioning the accuracy?????!!!! Would love a response from the developer but doubt that will come

I purchased the years subscription thinking it would get me a full natal chart. No, you have to pay extra for that on top of a subscription. The natal chart says I am a Scorpio. I am not. I am Sagittarius (and possibly ophiuchis)
I haven’t found some of the pages that they use to tempt people to purchase on social media.
Feel rather let down and wouldn’t recommend.

Wouldn’t work
The graphics are beautiful and from what I read it sounds like the app has lots of features I would have found useful. However I didn’t get much of a chance to use the app. The 3 stars are purely for the time and effort I can see the developer has given to make this app. The forced subscription puts me off. Why not offer a free version with limited access (as the free subscription was limited anyway) from other reviews it sounds like you used to offer this.
I have the latest iPhone and updates. The app worked the first evening I down loaded it. Forced a subscription (starting with 3 day free trial) before it would even let me open the app. Even then I couldn’t access everything, but I think this is probably due to the content could be screenshot and used. Many things asked for a fee. Then when I went on today it just wouldn’t work. Just a loading screen. Tried to reset the app. I had to force a cancellation through my apple account as I couldn’t access my account on the app.
If you’re going to force a subscription from the second you open the app I would expect access to the app for longer than a few minutes before it bugs out on me.

Hey I’ve been using Moonly for ages and I love the app. However, I just came across the Fairytale Archetype Wisdom card which mentions Cinderella being stuck in an abusive situation is her fault… I think this has been written from a place of privilege and no understanding of the struggles of orphaned children or children stuck in bad situations with no access to education / employment opportunities/ financial instruments. Please be more careful with your discourse.

I like the articles, tarot, runes and love the meditations, ai do find the moon info to often be out of sync. As someone who follows the moon cycle this does show at times to be in sign that is incorrect - for example tomorrow shows on here a new moon in Aries when we will be in a New Moon in Taurus. I have questioned this, incase there is some astrological reason I'm unaware of (as a newish person to lunar work) at different times on their insta but no one ever responds. Other than that I do enjoy this app.

Flaw with the meditations
I’ve been enjoying the guided meditations and all neatly under different theme headings. However, one major flaw is that if you do have to pause it for a brief moment, it tends to revert back to the beginning. There is no option to fast forward or slide alone to where you left off!
I understand the idea is to listen the whole way through, but there shouldn’t be a pause button if you’re unable to pick up where you left off.
Also, it would be handy to have an option to play the audio through a speaker.
It would also be handy if they weren’t marked as listened to just by clicking on them to read more info about the meditation. It would be handy if it was marked as listened to once I’ve actually hit play.
Otherwise, so far so good 🤩

I love this app it’s my fave
This app is fantastic, amazing content and I’m excited everyday to use it!
I love the practices - daily rune and tarot, the Vedic astrology updates and the healing section which includes mantra, sound healing and meditations.
I highly recommend the plus version to gain access to everything- it’s great value.
The developer is also great with customer service, I encountered a bug this week and it was sorted quickly. I got a response to my feedback explaining what had happened. Very good service - I’m sorry for my 1 star - now upgraded to 5 as that’s what the app and you deserve.

I like this app overall, however occasionally it gives the wrong information, like today is says full moon in Gemini, that was last month. It’s full moon in cancer this month… this has happened before in the past too. Very off putting. The main reason I’ve decided not to pay for the full version… it has great potential if they fix these details…

Magical!
I am in love with the authenticity of this very app! As a graphic design graduate I truly appreciate the effort put into the mesmerising graphics and illustrations that keep the standards high, magical feeling even higher and my will to progress out of any scale!
It’s very informative, gentle at the same time and very understanding by suggesting to do ‘XYZ’ BUT!!! To listen to your intuition and ‘go with your own flow’.
I guarantee to be staying with the Moonly app for longer, a lot longer and I am hoping that this project may even go a lot further. Eg. Biorhythms, law of assumption, law of attraction etc. Also, would be great to see the Moonly app and DailyHoroscope app to work together! The second app resonated with me on so many levels for a good few years now, that it’d be rather interesting to see what the creative minds of both apps would come up with! Or even moon omens collaboration would be mesmerising! 🥰

I like this app even though I already have some knowledge. I love the mantras but I’d like to give feedback on them. The sound isn’t too clear to me. It’s beautiful but not clear enough and so I think it would be really good to have the words to the mantra whilst listening. I am a visual learner more than listening. It is beautifully designed, simple to use with added extras such as daily affirmations, tarot card, astrology events and more. Beautiful & soul warming app
I tried this for first time and the app features and content is all styled pretty and perfectly laid out easy to read, understand, & navigate. I tried a programme on their for 20something minuets to meet my inner child of myself. It was extremely emotional and surprising that I gained so much from something, of which I didn’t fully believe at first would help. But it did help I was wrong, & it was an incredible expierance. Great app so far
The look of the app is great and has a lot of features which is nice to feel like a lot of relevant/connected information is supported in one place.
I was wondering though, whether the app is planning to add menstrual cycles to it for us ladies to track our cycles and how to align it with the moon? As majority of our cycles in this modern technology society has messed up. It would great to have an option to switch on the feature, and see our period cycle added to the calendar with future cycle predictions also. An extra plus would be to then have tips around each day/week of the cycle. I really hope this can be added as this would be a game changer for todays modern society.
An extra note of feedback, I would recommend removing the floating image stickers when joining the app that float across the screen, is more of a distraction and takes the attention away from the great interactive images in the background.

Content today very frustrating.
Good interface, I like a lot of what it has to offer, but in the meanings of tarot cards and in daily readings there’s so much heteronormativity, and the focus on the “feminine” is incredibly traditional in the gender binary. Some of what I have read today on the app actually made me quite annoyed.
Here’s a couple of quotes as an example:
“ And the most important thing is to

(wear skirts and dresses of light tones..”
“…according to the Empress. Women
focus on relationships, and men
- on work and fulfilment. “
“Therefore, the Empress believes that a woman's task is to develop relationships and take them to a new level. It is important to learn how to get in contact with a man, have a nice conversation, and choose favorable conditions for him. “
For me witchcraft and feminism are one and the same and to minimise women’s worth like this - and quite frankly this isn’t what the Empress represents AT ALL - in a witch’s forum is incredibly frustrating. These quotes sound like they’re from a 50s woman’s magazine. I’ll be cancelling my subscription now, I don’t need to see this kind of content.

Could be better
After reading the reviews I was really looking forward to using this app and the features it advertises.
Unfortunately it is very limited without paying in app for things.
Such a put off! I would rather pay for an app and have it all available.
Daily moon phases, daily runes and daily tarot is all you can really do which is short lived and I end up closing the app after.
This app has the resources to be much better.

Moonly is God Given.
This app is divinely appointed as inspiration for us Womenfolk. It has totally transformed my life and is continually making me face tough challenges which are helping me tremendously with the hard work I am facing. As well as helping me look back and see how much I have changed for the better and what I have achieved. I AM learning to praise my own achievements and appreciate them. Furthermore I AM learning to approve of myself and my actions and activities.

Very high quality
I have been an avid follower on all things spiritual for over 40 years. This app cuts out years of hard work collecting assimilating and presenting knowledge worth having. It has a unified perspective and offers excellent teaching, guidance and insights.
I can’t fault it as I’m constantly amazed at how accurate it is in its insights. I could not recommend it highly enough. I’m a spiritual coach who uses this everyday as an act of self care and to experience being personally supported 💖🐝

Just for money
This app isn't really free anymore, it used to be so much better and almost everything was accessible. Now they keep updating it to make you have to pay for more and more things each time. There's no point even having it anymore its utterly useless unless you pay them lots of £££ for things that just aren't worth that much. It's a shame because the design details are so beautiful and the idea of it is good, but I don't see how anyone would pay that much for what it offers. I'm going to delete it as I am fed up of this.

One stop shop for complete spiritual alignment
Absolutely love the Moonly app it’s always evolving and I get excited every time I open the app as there’s so much information tools and tricks which I resonate to and make use of to give myself that extra boost . And the subscription is so reasonable I have an annual subscription which I have also recently renewed and will continue to renew.. Priya

WOW! Much more than you expect
Warnings! Something too many magick areas forget to mention. Magick IS NO JOKE. It can ruin your life and change you. This is based in positivity and although not Wiccan magick practices its excellent for moon states and rune magick. With proper warnings. I love this truly as I reconnect and centre with the divine feminine. The Moon is my lady and protects me, remember though the rule of three, what is done to others is done to thee. Do no harm and blessed be.

Amazing experience
I never wrote a review before but I love this app so much so I had to. Especially that it never gets boring but also has consistency. There are always new mediations uploaded, the haptics when choosing a rune, things to play with, discover and learn. Thanks so much for making this!

It’s great to focus on something ‘other’
Moonly gives a great little focus away from the day to day hum drum. Tuning into the movement of the moon, the secret language of the runes and ancient wisdoms is just what we need at the moment.
Have just done the mountain water meditation and found a little bit of bliss😀

Beautiful app - needs tweaking
There’s a lot to love about this app. Design is gorgeous and UI is a dream. Ideal for daily use. However, I do feel the app would benefit from a homepage which explained a few basic things. What are all these Vedic time periods? Somewhere it should give resources for where to find out more if you want to go deeper.
I was disappointed there is no graphic indicating what the various moon phases are best for in life - this graphic was used by Moonly to promote the app on Instagram and is what prompted me to sign up! Finally I didn’t really understand the daily “haircut” advice at all.
Overall it’s a great app but I think it’s trying to do too much - veering off into tarot etc - when it would be better to properly explain the moon element that is the strongest thing.

Triggering! Recommends fasting
I paid for the lifetime membership for Moonly and was really enjoying it. I’ve started noticing on some days it recommends fasting. I think this is so irresponsible and damaging to recommend fasting of food and water when not backed up by science or a doctor! I found it so triggering to see that recommended and I know many others who have recovered from disordered eating would find this harmful and triggering too. I used moonly for spiritual comfort and to develop my spiritual path but instead I found myself feeling let down when using the app. I contacted Moonly by email regarding this more than 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing back

Subscription not working
Have always paid subscription. Last few weeks it asks me to resubscribe constantly, which I do, and then a notice comes up saying “oops.. something has gone wrong” and it wont let me access anything. I love this app and have relied on meditation etc for mental health quite heavily and this issue is very frustrating! Please advise

This is amazing app I have downloaded and paid for a few and this is best one for me, lots of advice and what you can do in mediation rituals and a breakdown on each topic of self awareness.. etc honestly I haven’t put it down since I downloaded 2 days ago 😇😍

Pleasing to the eye, informative and uplifting!
my only issue is how much is locked and how expensive it is to unlock it. they recently took away the bell sounds which i really benefited from and cannot afford to pay for it. any way you’d bring the bell back for free users?

Used to be great
Used to love this app, but the recent update has made the graphics look far more childish IMO - there was nothing wrong with the previous graphics. Appears there’s also been an update overnight in that most of the daily runes are locked under a premium membership now, when they’ve always been available previously. Very disappointing.

Impressed (not a review writer)
Very happy with this app. Bought lifetime (big fan of lifetime License’s) I’d like more guided meditations but I’m confident over time these will be added. No noticeable bugs for me, have no suggestions I could put forward. Interested to see what future updates bring. Thanks for making a reliable, informative app. Wish I’d found it sooner.

An app so apt!!!
I’ve always been interested in the rhythms of the moon and how it affects my moods, my emotions, my intimacy, my vulnerability, my intuition etc. but have never been able to find something that could give me the insight I truly needed until I came across the app. It’s everything I need and MORE 🙏🏽♥️🙏🏽

Okay but basic and not worth the subscription
I think this app definitely has potential, but at the moment I don’t feel like it delivers value for money for subscription. I saw some picture on a Facebook advert of Mabon, Full Moon bath etc. Which were really detailed but there is nothing like that in the app itself. Like I said it could be amazing, but for now I feel like it needs more work.

Beautiful app
I love this app, I installed maybe 20 moon apps and deleted the ones that I didn’t like, and Moonly was one of the 5 I kept. The other 4 aren’t as informative as Moonly either, they mostly just show the current moon phase etc. But Moonly has sooo much more! Info on the moons signs too etc. Definitely recommend it :)

Great app
Loving this app right now, really helping me make strides with myself. I have found one problem that when I do my daily rune it doesn’t tell me if the rune is inverted or right way up, it would be useful to know which way up it was so I could make my decision.
My rune for today was laguz, if it was the right way up I should trust my inner voice (for me on this day would have been to leave my job that is causing me stress and anxiety which then contributes to my depression) but if it was inverted it tells me not too which has caused me not to leave evidently being stuck with sticking to with it

Automatic Renewal despite cancelling
I paid for a month and decided to cancel after that. I used the app to cancel the subscription but that didn’t work I still got charged the following month. I then tried to cancel again through the app, going to settings and clicking on subscriptions - the app just froze despite trying multiple times. I had to go through my apple account to cancel. Just be wary that it’s not as easy as it should be to unsubscribe.

Breathtaking
I never write reviews and I usually opt out of paying for premium features on apps but, I was actually amazed by what moonly had to offer. As someone who is very curious and interested in learning about spiritual practices and ancient knowledge, I often find myself googling phrases such as ‘Practices similar to astrology’. The results are often vague and hard to sift through but, this app has a lovely little wisdom section filled with information on runes, moon rituals, affirmations etc. As soon as I saw this section I knew I could get lost in it for hours so, I subscribed! This is just the app I needed in all honesty. I also love the little daily affirmation section because it helps lift your mood and strengthen your vibration. I’m just so in love with the app :).

Fantastic App
I absolutely adore this app! I’ve tried a few different moon apps and I find this one is the best! I love how it explains the moon’s daily position, what the day’s energy holds, and daily affirmations to perk up your morning! The wisdom page is really engaging and insightful with rituals and routines that can be good for maintaining positive energy and mindset! The layout, the aesthetics, the content, everything about it is amazing!

Lovely App
The app is lovely to look at, and there is some great knowledge available. The section you pay for is interesting to read through, however it would be great if the app had functional calendars and the sections were functional/personalised, this would make this an app to be used daily. Looking forward to seeing how it moves forward!

Beautiful App
The app is not only aesthetically pleasing to the eye but has such an inspirational touch to it with daily affirmations that inspire me to be my best self and to inspire self love.
The daily random rune is a great way to start the day with a new goal, or a reason to have a new goal. Not only that but to be productive and live up to what’s been suggested of the day. Which is very benefiting for mental health by keeping the mind focused and busy on something goal orientated.
Wisdom; a section within the app which gives so much knowledge about meditation, astrology, rituals and more. It’s so fascinating to learn about something new and root it into everyday life to the point where it changes your perspective on things in life.
Overall I believe this is a beautiful app which is a hidden gem amongst other apps and deserves to be recognised, like I said before it is pleasing to the eye. The way it is set out, to the little animations and pictures which are just so mesmerising.
I do believe it has so much more potential to grow and develop into something even better than it is now, once it gets the recognition it needs and deserves.
