Mixed bag

Functionally one of the better interfaces of its type, though a little laggy at times.

Just a pity every picture I’ve tried so far is so badly done compared to those the competitors offer—proper painting by numbers I mean, not the weird pseudo painting by numbers where detail appears from nowhere. I’ve prepared to squint at the end result if you want to be satisfied with it!

Picture Choice

I enjoy colouring scenes, they are colourful and beautiful. However there seems to be less and less scenes. Instead every day I am getting dogs and cats dressed in stupid costumes, food which I am not at all interested in and butterflies. I like flowers but I think there is even a touch too many of them. Needless to say I am more than a little disappointed with this app at the moment.

Colouring

This app is great it is different then other colour by numbers, this helps you where that certain colour has to go better then other apps. And seeing as it is in black and white I can’t wait to see the finished picture, I am well enjoying this app.

Really good but a couple of frustrating points

I love colour by numbers games, so therapeutic and this is already up there with the best I’ve played, however there are a couple of frustrating points which stop it getting 5*. The main one being; the highlighted number is the same shade as one of the main colour groups, so if you’ve filled in the dark brown, black areas, then you have difficulty seeing the highlighted, although they are numbered brightly and big enough to see, unlike some games where the area is so small you can’t see it, even when zoomed in and I guess it’s like that so you have to use a hint.

Secondly, unlike most of the colouring games, you are not automatically carried to the next number, instead, you have to press each time, eg, number 1 finished, I have to manually press number 2. This isn’t a big problem and doesn’t by any means ruin the game, it’s just the flow runs better when automatically moved on.

The main plus points are the variety of colours and quality; even a solitary flower had 80 variants, albeit one or two segments, but it does make the game last longer, so in my mind that’s a bonus. Plus, great pictures, really colourful and vibrant, so they all stand out when looking at your own work! 👍As I said earlier, the negatives are minor, but personally, if they were rectified, I would consider buying a full version or paying a subscription, however, not at the moment, with those little buggy points! Thank you, really good!
