When I first started using CapCut , everything was free and it was good , but I just don’t get why some features ( including the auto background remove feature) is pro…

I’m not saying this app is no longer good , but I could say I have mixed feelings that are good , but bad at the same time .

It’s rubbish

I haven’t even clicked on anything that standard. I just put it onto me that’s free and then it says your usual standard thing when I tried to report it CapCut is absolute rubbish. Don’t buy it.

Buggy glitchy mess

It’s got some good features but this thing can’t even open my project without throwing a massive fit. Capcut glitches include:

Severe and long slowdown

Splits not splitting where you intended it to

The time cursor (white pole in the middle) not being able to move to the beginning meaning everything is a second behind

The window for moving along the video is too small meaning you’ll click on several elements before actually moving

The thing can just refuse to press play even though you’ve clicked it deliberately and it knows that you’ve pressed play

It gets so overwhelmed quickly that the video player will fail to load properly causing overlays and videos to be glitchy and move wrong or appear delayed

App gaslights you into thinking you have no available photos meaning you have to restart the app

Crashes after using for 1 hour

Takes up WAYYY too much space for what it is

If you’re doing short videos it’s definitely a treat but if you want to do anything even slightly complex it’s much more worth it to look at other video editing apps and learn to use them instead.

SOUND ISSUES

Can I not export a 1 minute video without the sound being completely messed up??? I'm not just talking about sound delay, I'm talking about the first part of your video synced properly then as it continues to play, the sound falls behind. Great video generator options, good length also, overall happy, just needs voice improvements sound very robotic, there is only 1 I use, needs a Harry Potter style voice for children’s stories. Would also be a good option if each video had a section of all the features on it to help one use the again next time

Okay, so I’ve been using this app for years now and have never changed editing apps since. But for the past year, everything has become ‘pro’ to the point where I can’t even edit anymore without having to do a subscription. I purchased the standard pack, thinking I’d be able to do smooth slow motion, but no. Slow motion used to be free and now I can’t even get it without paying 15+ pounds a month. I used to love using this app but now barely anything is free. You also didn’t make it clear that I wouldn’t be able to use smooth slow motion or slow motion at all with the standard pack. I think it’s outrageous and greedy that the prices have risen so high. Hundreds of people are agreeing. I’ve now switched to a better, cheaper editing app.

amazing but there are things annoying with it

this is an incredible editer, video maker and much more, the only thing i find that is annoying, is that a lot of the "good stuff" AKA the things that are really good like good stickers or auto captions, are premium and you have to pay some money for it, i get that you cant make evrything free or then wherr will you get the money for your business? but i find it is rather annoying when i finish a video and im really proud of it so i click export and i find out, alot of what i have done is for special members only. other than that, this is an amzing app and it is really helpful with millions of templates daily. on the whole, but its te small things that i find a bit annoying. but with that said, i love this app and i use it for editing videos, making videos, puting filters on photos and uploading onto capcut, this has been a real life saver for everything. and have i mentioned how quick and straightforward it is? i say about me not noticing about some of the premium iteams but too be fair, it has a clear purple crown above it. anyway enough of me yaping, GO BUY THE APP!!

Great! But… 😐

Capcut can be a great for editors choices and it lets you edit nice and perfectly in videos. But sometimes this app can have downhills. First of all is that there is too many Pros Subscriptions. I couldn’t even edit my video with decent animations and it feels like the Pro Subscription is starting to take all over the animations and styles. But another thing that is annoys me is bugs. Sometimes my video would be delayed or for some reason when I try to get a photo out of my storage there were none of the photos showing at all. And the worst annoying part is that when you spent all your life editing one video and you accidentally used Capcuts Pro Subscription. It lets you know that you used it but it doesn’t show you where it is. So you have to spend all your time looking through the edit one by bit. There should be this feature where it locates where you’re using Pro Subscription animation. I have hopes for this app and I am just waiting for it to get better eventually.

i have been editing on capcut since 2020 and i absolutely swore by this app, it was the perfect app for someone who can’t afford to buy a professional editing software. no watermarks, beginner friendly and easy to use. however, slowly over time, more and more features became “pro”. at the start this wasn’t a problem as of course the devs saw it’s rise in popularity and wanted to make some features purchasable (and completely optional since these were transitions and more advanced features) to support them. now? it’s gotten to the point that the app is COMPLETELY useless. very basic editing features that were once free are pro, like smooth slow motion, motion blur and even just adding an extracted audio. i am so disappointed in the way this app has turned out, with how familiar i was with all it’s controls now i have to move to something else. editing should be accessible to everyone, it shouldn’t be a matter of money (and it’s a lot of money). it just feels like such a cash grab at this point. if you’re wanting to learn to edit, i’d recommend literally any other app. videostar for one, it has pro but the free version is great. capcut, if you see this review, i hope you realise my frustration and disappointment with you. do better. don’t download this app.

resetting to Standard

CapCut is a good free editor, but it has quite a few downsides that can get really frustrating. Here are some of the bad things about CapCut that might explain what you experienced:

1.Project resetting to Standard mode –

Sometimes CapCut doesn’t save your custom aspect ratio, settings, or effects if you leave the app for too long or if your phone clears it from memory. It can reset to the default “Standard” project.

2.Glitches & auto-bugs –

CapCut is known to randomly glitch — transitions or effects disappear, timing shifts, or things reset when you reopen the app.

3.Heavy on storage/RAM –

It eats a lot of space and memory. On phones with less storage or RAM, CapCut might reload itself when you switch apps, causing unsaved changes to reset.

4.Internet dependency –

Even though you’re editing offline, CapCut sometimes refreshes templates, fonts, or effects from its servers, which can break your project settings if you’re disconnected.

5.Watermark (unless removed) –

Free version automatically adds a watermark unless you delete it every time (extra steps).

6.Ads & push to Pro –

Keeps pushing you toward the Pro version, and sometimes locks features behind subscriptions.

7.Limited backup –

If you don’t manually export or save a draft properly, your project might corrupt or reset like what happened to you.

U should’ve gotten 1 but I’m giving u 2 cuz u used to be a good “free” editing app but since around 2024 there have been a slight uproar, with your community based on the pro -to non pro features at first i didn’t even mind because with creativity it is still possible to make good edits but which “special” guy decided to make extracting an audio a pro feature if u legit no other editing app is doing what your doing I’ve tried being loyal for as long as possible but the way things are going you are pushing me off the edge i would hate to see you go down like this because we all know you have more potential than this nonsense, if you refuse to listen to me greed would be digging your own grave , everyone would leave your app as there is basically nothing to do on it and im going to be real with you, barely anyone will be caught paying £20 for capcut pro when there are so many other better editing apps for that for example , after effects funimate , alight motion etc. this will lead to a majority of capcut users leaving your platform to join other BETTER editing apps other than that they would 100% be thinking about giving you YES YOU Capacut , a boycott. Has Got So Greedy!!!!

For years I’ve always used CapCut and I loved how many features you could get on it, it really expressed your creativity and it was fun to make silly videos with, but recently I’ve noticed more and more of the features I used you now have to pay for with CapCut Standard and CapCut Premium (or Pro, can’t remember the name)

I’m all for companies earning money and at the time I understood that they probably had to make the more advanced parts of it payed, but very quickly I’ve noticed so many more pop up ads telling me to go Premium as well as more and more features getting taken away and put onto the Premium or Standard addition… the final straw was when I was editing for a work piece today and I could not export as I now had to pay just to extract audio… that is a BASIC editing tool that you shouldn’t have to pay for!!!! That’s like if they were to start charging stupid amounts of money just to cut a video clip down which it wouldn’t surprise me if CapCut was to start doing that!

I’ve had enough, great app but let down by the introduction of the payed features.

Free to use TO now having to pay…

I’ve absolutely LOVED using Capcut for every edit i’ve made for the past 5 years. It’s been free to use, and has been with me through my entire editing journey online. However more recently the PRO feature was added. Over time, more and more daily tools i used to use cost money. I cannot even do the simple things i used to in this app anymore. I get having the PRO feature, capcut is a very popular editing tool and to an extent it’s worth having a few PRO features for the app developers to make money. However, everytime i open the app or close an edit i was making there’s an AD. The whole app is now riddled with small ads, and features that i can no longer use without paying money. What used to be an amazing free app for beginner and more advanced editors to use, is now just another one of those pay to make anything half decent apps. I hate to say anything bad about Capcut but it’s true, and it’s become so much harder for me to make anything look how i want it to. Even over the last few days some of the tools i have used, now today costs money. Not everybody has over £100 to spend for a years worth of unlocking PRO features. Nor £20 a month if they aren’t even generating income from edits and it’s just for fun. The app has seriously started to go downhill the last few weeks.

I used to always use this app to edit as I don’t want to pay money to use a digital app. I loved it, I loved how everything was free, how I could do as I please with out a single penny being snatched from my wallet, yes the editing was not as good as the editing apps that required money but atleast it was free. Until I noticed some ‘pro features’ being added, which was fine because the pro features were never there before and just something extra if you were willing to pay, then more pro features came, and more, and more. Until only some of the basic editing features were free like fade out, fade in, and extract audio etc.. I could still work with that as it was mostly what I only used. Now I can’t even use the app, extract audio is now a pro feature and fade in fade out is now a pro feature, what the hell. I can’t even put my anger and annoyance into words this is the worst money hungry company I have ever seen. The editing features are too bad quality to be required to pay for. I am switching over to the editing apps that requires money so I can atleast make my moneys worth. I can certainly say CapCut has had the worst downfall that any other app has ever had.

Good but Greedy

I love useing CapCut it was so helpful if I wanted to make edits of things such as Tv shows I liked but since they’ve made a lot of things pro I can’t really use the app. Sure I can still edit but I can’t remove backgrounds properly but I can’t use certain texts or fonts or animations or transitions as I now have to pay. I think it was very greedy of the app makers to to do this as a lot of people used the app and not everyone has the money for it. There’s so many features on this app that I would love to use but I can’t as you have to pay and I don’t have the money for that. I get the point of making money but once you start asking for money for everything people aren’t going to use the app anymore and switch to something else that is free as people have others things to pay for such a taxes and bills. Personal I think making people have to pay to use good features was a bad move so if you are thinking of getting this app please just note that unless you can pay nearly £96 or $96 or whatever currency your country uses it’s not worth it as there so many things you won’t be able to do.

Pro features: I honestly hate the ‘pro features’ 😩! Misleading “Free” Features – Forces Pro Subscription at Expor

CapCut used to be one of my go-to video editors because of its powerful features and user-friendly interface. However, after using it more recently, I’m extremely disappointed. The app lets you edit your videos with what seems like all the tools you need for free, but when you’re ready to export your video, it suddenly tells you that you’ve been using Pro features without any clear warning. It doesn’t help that CapCut auto-applies Pro effects and features without informing you, so by the time you’re finished with your project, you’re stuck having to remove everything you’ve used or risk being forced into a Pro subscription.

The issue is that there’s no easy way to filter out or avoid these Pro features, making it feel like you’re being tricked into using them. Even when you try to replace a Pro effect or transition with a free option, it becomes a long and frustrating process of trial and error. It feels like CapCut has become more focused on pushing subscriptions than providing a truly free experience.

I used to recommend this app, but now it’s just not worth the headache. If you don’t want to pay for the Pro version, you’re better off looking elsewhere for video editing apps. Extremely disappointed in how CapCut has changed!

This app is a great use of time and phone battery 😂. However, I find really good edits on here and it’s a yes for tiktok and just edits for your camera roll to watch later as well ! It has in app purchases and the only thing I don’t like are sometimes the pictures/videos you want to make an edit of can sometimes be too much for the app to handle and your edit will not be made and some edits are PRO which you have to pay for unfortunately. But you can also create things on there and be an influencer on there ! Which is just another great thing about the app ! I highly recommend for creative people and not so creative as well because the edits are very easy to make and depending on which template you choose, they are very quick ! As I said before I highly recommend for every person with a passion for creativity or fun exciting edits to watch later on. Super cool,helpful,amazing, and easy to use app ! Thanks CapCut !!!

Money-greedy all

Talk about money-greedy.. why do you need to pay for half of the app?? like half of what we get for free is just shytty icl. Couldn’t even call it half, barely anything too use that’s free. Might as well change the ‘free editing app’ to ‘money-greedy pointless app’ atp. Like we get it.. inflation, things are getting more expensive. We know. It’s a joke. But it doesn’t give you a right to make 90% of the app cost money, we are all struggling with shytty jobs that barely pay us anything. Brilliant but….

I’ve had this app waaaay back when it wasn’t big. Yes the functions have drastically improved and are very good but now, everything is premium pro version only. I still get done what I need to get done but they removed all the good filters, editing tools like all the better fonts, transitions, stickers, effects & text animations. Also most of the auto caption, video/body/photo effects are not available in free.

TikTok integrated still in my country (uk) so u can switch between apps seamlessly to edit. AI tools such as writing context for you, adding captions automatically (English only in free version & no word highlighting). Has auto lyric creation for music. You can overlay (no PiP), record your own audio - pretty much all u need to get a just above basic video edited. But 90% of the good features are pro now sadly. Can export in various qualities. Rendering is not to slow & you can create your own thumbnails. There is an option to extract audio from gallery videos, import music but I do believe it will be copyright checked or you can do it manually. There is also a small amount of sound effects, text to audio/audio to text functions & create custom audio button. Unsure if you can import from Apple Music due to copyright check. Overall, still a great app but ruined by the 90% good feature lock to the pro paid version. Big let down. Good for those making quick social media videos on their phones or tablets, have no to intermediate editing skills.

Just not free.

CapCut. You claim to be a free app when you are very much not.. EVERYTHING is pro now. I used to be able to enjoy using CapCut and it would be so smooth and easy and best of all…. FREE!! but now it’s took a turn and it’s for the worst. I , a 12 year old child, does not have the money to afford pro and my parents won’t buy me it since obviously they have better things to spare there money on. But I know it’s not just me it’s EVERYONE who is using this app knows there’s a problem. Your already making millions even billions off TikTok and CapCut before it went pro but now you have to be even more money greedy. Don’t you think we have already paid enough money on taxes and bills well obviously you don’t because you make everything have to be PAID FOR. I just want to make flipping gacha videos and I literally can’t because everything’s pro. Not to mention you get people’s hopes up when they download the app because they think there getting a good quality editing app for free but it’s not free or even good quality anymore because to get good quality what do you need… PRO. Amazing app!

This app is so good! You can begin by editing your videos and photos by yourself or using the templates provided (these usually have example photos that you switch for your own photos).You can follow creators that make templates or you can be a creator! (To do this you need to sign in though!) There are no ads and you can participate in challenges to win prizes. There are some things that you need to get CapCut pro for if you want to use them, like certain templates or features but most things are free. I don’t have CapCut pro and I still make amazing videos that I can share with friends. If you have a TikTok account,YouTube channel or CapCut account you can upload your videos straight to there. I would totally recommend this to you if you have read my entire review (sorry for making it so long) and to all my friends! Happy editing!

It WAS good!

I’ve used CapCut for two years now, and I throughout those two years, this was the gold standard of mobile video editing. It could even be used exclusively on PC and keep all the benefits, mate, even enhance them. UNTIL… CapCut Pro rolled out. All the free features are now locked completely behind a paywall. The price itself is not the issue, it’s the philosophy behind it. It wants to be like AE, Alight Studio, and the rest. But it’s doing it in the wrong way. Sure, you need a return on investment for your product that skyrocketed over time, especially during the pandemic, but it’s lost its credibility and appeal to users since. It’s a shame, really. Because of the toxic nature of the editing community, if you tell anyone you use CapCut to edit, they’ll tell you that you’re a bad editor. Because of TEMPLATES. Those templates, while cool, they lack authenticity. You’ll get hundreds of thousands of views just for using pre-edited templates, but for those like me who edit day and night manually, averaging 8 hours per day, only 89 views per week. I’m sorry to say, as okay as CapCut is on the free version, and you want to get the paid, you might as well get After Effects or Alight Motion, even DaVinci Resolve; they may be for a higher price, but it’s a million times more valuable. Verdict: CapCut has fallen.

Why CapCut is good

Amazing editing app but.....

First off, the good points. 1. Lots of options Capcut has many different features and good editing tools and you could nearly edit anything exactly the way you want it. I mean there is so many things you can play around with to make your edit perfect. 2. Templates If you don't really know how to edit you can just use a template or if you want a edit idea. You can also see what effects / animations they used. I also hope they add this in the future- seeing what the song is called and having a button " use in edit". If i want to use that song in my edit i have to screen record / search up the lyrics and find the part in the song which is extremely annoying. THERE ARE OTHER GOOD THINGS I JUST DONT WANT TO HAVE SO MUCH IN THIS REVEIW - Bad points 1. First off the TIMING. Half of the time i have put my video in the perfect spot and then i watch my edit and it doesn't play correctly? This might be storage issues but I'm pretty sure its the app. 2. what happened??

okay so i gave capcut 1 star. this would be different about 6 months ago when it ACTUALLY KIND OF WORKED.

basically, capcut used to work decently and i could actually watch templates and use them. but when it came to saving them, it wouldn’t let me. every. single. time. so then i kinda got sick of that as well as when i used the camera not being able to add MY OWN MUSIC to it because it just said *no internet connection* even when i had full bars and full wifi. so i kinda went off capcut for a bit because all i could do on it was watch templates that i couldn’t create. so then about a month later i went back on after not going on it for a while. BROOOOOO. i couldn’t even SEE the templates any more because it just said *no internet connection* like chill bestie, my internet connection is FINE. and also it still wouldn’t let me add music to my videos. so i survived with THAT for about 4 months or so. and then, i just thought WHATS EVEN THE POINT OF THIS ANY MORE because i basically couldn’t use anything. so i deleted it and then reinstalled it (in the daddy pig fashion✨✨👺) in the hope that it was just a minor glitch. NOW I DONT EVEN HAVE AN OPTION FOR TEMPLATES AND IT WONT LET ME SIGN UP OR SIGN IN. capcut, u rlly need to sort this out babes so i gave u one star.

I use this app daily, but it’s become annoying lately

I’ve been an editor for 3 and a half years now. I make edits of my favourite show, movies etc. but in the past year so many features have been moved onto CapCut Pro, and I know I’m not the only creator who is frustrated by this. I’ll start by talking about the most recent edition to CapCut Pro: smooth slow motion. This effect was used by almost every creator who uses CapCut, it made videos you slowed down or added twixtor or velocity to look smooth, rather than choppy and laggy. However, since that feature has been moved to Pro, so many people are forced to choose between good quality videos (which CapCut doesn’t have a good reputation for in the first place) or smooth clips.

CapCut may believe this is the best way for their company to make money, but now most editors have started looking for alternative apps to use due to so many key features slowly becoming something we need to pay for. What the CapCut team needs to keep in mind is that the majority of people using their app are teenagers, who cannot afford over ninety quid a year just to have smooth clips.

To the CapCut team, I strongly suggest you remove smooth slow motion from Pro, or people will continue to search and begin using other alternative apps for their creations. I include myself in that.

I’ve been using CapCut since 2020, its an amazing app and I use it a lot as I am a Gachatuber and an editor. However, over the last two years I’ve noticed that the developers have been making more things expensive items that in reality don’t need to be. This includes Motion Blurr, the adjustments on speed (aka the option to choose Better Quality and or Faster Process), and many other things.

This has made it increasingly hard to use the app and half the time I have to screen record my video’s in order to post them, this ruins the quality of my videos and edits and is extremely Irritating. This app is a good way to learn things such as transitions, effects and Velocity etc, but making all your previously free items expensive and pricey for what one could argue isn’t worth the cash is fairly irritating.

This app is a great way to learn how to make videos, edits, and much more, but please stop making things more expensive as it isn’t going to make anyone want to use the app anymore then they already do. No hate to the developers or anythings, and I understand they need to make money, but is making items that were previously free gobsmackingly expensive the answer to that?

The pro situation

Allow me to start by saying that CapCut is the best app and the easiest to work it’s also a simple formula for editing, the possibilities are endless but I am a rather frequent user of the app since I post edits on various platforms and most if not all of these edits use things like slow motion to give it a sense of smoothness. However I can’t use this attribute due to it being PRO, i understand you want to get your moneys worth and you want big time creators to use pro effects and post them everywhere so the business gets more attention but a simple effect such as wanting a smooth slow motion clip isn’t worth the hassle.

I can guarantee that most of the people who use your app are editors or beginning influencers who haven’t got the money to buy pro which means a lot of them will likely stop using the app, I did for a week after I seen slow motion and motion blur was a PRO effect.

That’s why I’m rating two stars but usually it’s a nice and high four, CapCut was a five star app before PRO took pretty much everything.

Great app but slo mo is a problem.

I don’t usually write reviews but however I think some issues need to be addressed. As a teenage equestrian I used CapCut so often to make edits of me and my horse and I couldn’t fault it. I thought it was the most amazing app ever. I spent nearly every day using it. However, a large amount of those edits were slo mo ones, and recently CapCut have made it so you have to pay for PRO to have smooth slo mo. As it was the main feature I used, I was not very pleased as we are not able to pay £100 for a years subscription, just for me to use the smooth slo mo. I know there is probably many families out there who wouldn’t be able to afford that either. On top of that the slo mo (without the smooth slo mo feature on), is just really laggy and makes my videos look awful - I hate it as I want good quality videos to look back on but I don’t really have a choice. It’s such a shame as it really was the best editing app out there. However it is just unusable to me now. I understand that the company needs to make money but as the slo mo is the main thing that I use and many other equestrians use too - it just ruins the whole thing. If this is something that would affect you I do not recommend downloading this app. I loved CapCut and credit to the company, they have done a good job - the slo mo thing is just a huge problem. Otherwise I would have left a 5 star review. If something could be done about this it would mean so much - thank you.

stop making things pro

Ive been using this app for a year making videos for tiktok and I have really liked it. It’s not as good as some other editing apps, but that’s expected because CapCut is free and others aren’t. However since CapCut pro has been introduced, half of the effects, fonts etc have been made pro meaning it’s impossible to make a good video using the app without pro. CapCut is supposed to be an easy, quick and FREE app to use, so why is everything slowly becoming a pro feature? But although the whole time I have used this app I have put up with this, a few days ago CapCut updated and now the smooth-slow-mo feature and motion blur have been made pro. These features are very important when it comes to making any kind of decent video. Without them it is glitchy and slow and not smooth at all. I have used this app most days for over a year and this is what they do? CapCut is a successful app with a LOT of users so I can garuntee that they do not need more money, but they are greedy. As a loyal user I am very upset and I hope they at least make a few less things pro (including smooth slow mo and motion blur) because a lot of people are upset by this update.

The majority of the app is an up-charge.

I always loved CapCut, it was a simple, straightforward app. When they first introduced CapCut Pro, it was very minimal. yes it wasn’t nice to see there was up-charges, but it wasn’t too much of a problem as there was still lots of things to use. But recently CapCut have been making more and more things Pro on the app. Right now the majority of effects, options and other additions on the app are an up-charge. Recently the smooth slo-mo option was made Pro and this is used by almost all the people that use the app. I totally understand CapCut want to make money, but making the app charge people to use simple things will not do anything. Making videos on CapCut is a huge hobby of mine and it takes my mind off of a-lot of things but now i’m extremely limited with the options and effects i have to choose from and this doesn’t make CapCut a fun app to use. I know multiple other people who have stopped using CapCut (including myself) because they simply can’t do almost anything anymore on the app. All i ask is for you to allow non Pro users to have more accessibility to CapCut for us to enjoy using the app again. Very good

I love this app. I use it pretty much everyday. I love how there’s templates already made and there’s also an option to create your own template. But the part I use the most is the actually creating edits part. I love it and I love all the different possibilities. But I don’t like how you have to pay for certain parts. For example: I was just making and edit and I really liked this font and I wanted to use it, however, I couldn’t and I didn’t want to pay. Don’t get me wrong it’s not expensive but I still think if the pro thing wasn’t a thing then it would be better. Maybe there could be a free option like you make edits and get better and the better you are the more option you can get or if you make a lot of templates/edits you can have pro. I still love this app but I think if that feature was added, it would be much better. Apart from that, an amazing app and would defo recommend to anyone looking to start editing.

Oh my God you little rat

I've been using CapCut for years and have adapted to all the changes, updates and upgrades along the way. I was using it about two minutes ago when my app decided to update in the middle of editing, my phone's problem I reckoned and nothing to do with CapCut, however when I refreshed and opened the app again, 'reduce noise' had been made a pro feature and I thought fine, I'll just remove it so I'm not accidentally paying for anything. Unfortunately, it still shows up as a pro feature even when I turned it off so I need to restart my edit from scratch. The only solution seems to be deleting the entire section that I had previously 'reduced noise' on, which massively disrupts the rest of my video. Please fix this issue, other than that CapCut is a great app with a wide range of graphics and templates with no ads or watermarks either! You can use it to edit any video and it is flexible depending on your style of editing, which is also very helpful. Seriously though I've just wasted multiple hours of my life if you don't fix the reduce noise issue.

unnecessarily making thing pro features!!

Capcut is an amazing editing app and I have been using it for years now. It is very easy to edit on and easy to learn so most go to this app when they begin editing. What I have a problem with, is that a lot of editors, such as myself, have taken a notice to certain things being pro. I honestly don’t mind when they make NEW effects pro because they have to get money somehow. it’s not like editors could ever use it anyways, since it had always been pro. However, there is certain things I used to use previously that were never pro and then they randomly cost money: such as smooth ‘slow motion’. Majority of people who use Capcut do not have the funds to be paying money just to make a simple edit. This is absolutely outrageous and I feel furious! How am I suppose to make my edits look smooth and continue editing like normal without these crucial features? It isn’t just me who has this problem, many other editors use smooth slow motion and other effects which has become pro. If this continues, I will have to quit Capcut. I would hate to quit, since I’m so used to capcut, but it might be my only option. If you could stop this and make ‘smooth slow motion’ NOT pro anymore, that would be great and I would most definitely never quit.

I think this app is a really good app for editing for beginners but it was mean to be free but now basically everything is capcut pro and that is 10 pounds a month and you could get video star for cheaper and that’s a better editing app. I really enjoyed capcut but I’ve now moved on to video star witch is cheaper so I’m retiring from capcut as I think your just gonna turn everything to capcut pro and having to pay 10 pounds a month for it is ridiculous. No one would want to pay that much for a app. You want to charge people 120 pounds every year for capcut pro even though capcut isn’t even that good of an app it always glitches and the quality is rubbish so that’s why I gave you 2 stars

I also think it should be cheaper like 5 pounds a month or even cheaper than that. People who use capcut are always getting hate for using it and everyone is calling them poor and that proves it’s that bad people think it’s free. I’ve used capcut for just less then a year and every time I edit it gets so laggy. It takes so much storage as well so I hope you get a life and make capcut free at last!!

Needs more Free options, unnecessarily restrictive.

I enjoy using this app to make and edit videos, but hardly anything for the video effects and other tabs is free unfortunately, there isn’t much freedom without paying currently. I understand that you need money and to add pro features in order to run the app, I am finding it really difficult to make a good edits because everything is labelled with Pro and it’s making it a difficult process and everything feels incredibly limited and I feel like Pro needs to be either changed to allow more freedom for those who don’t want to spend money or can’t or I have an idea that might help, maybe you have to watch multiple ads to get certain effects but their is still premium ones, you don’t have to add this but it’s a suggestion that might help free users feel less restricted. Most of the free effects are very bland and aren’t very useful for making high quality edits. Also I can’t find a single app to make good edits without being restricted and limited by subscriptions, I can’t make anything that I’m proud of due to paywalls. overall if your a app user reading this, I recommend the app but keep in mind you have pay money for a huge amount of the effects, and the free effects you get might not be very helpful for making high quality edits, so just bare that in mind.

Ok but needs ALOT of work

The free version is just perfect for what you need when blogging, but I tried paying for cloud space in the hope I could use it for all my editing on my iPad instead. It’s all abit odd, you have to add all your current projects into “space” and then download them all, once you edit them you have to back them up again and spend the next hour trying to figure out how to view them on your other device until you give up 🤣 you would expect that if you paid for cloud you would just click the little cloud button and voila you can view and edit from another device, but that’s not the case. When you login onto another device all your projects are gone 😅 you can only view and edit the projects that you’ve additionally saved into your “space” but you need to download it first, make it make sense. Having two separate spaces where you keep your projects is confusing and hard to keep track of what’s been edited and what hasn’t. I’ll keep using the free version on my phone, such a shame.

Can definitely be improved

I use capcut daily for my blog. It’s has some very good features, don’t get me wrong, but some new updates are very annoying. You have to update every single project you do, unfinished or finished, just to view it, every single time you update the app. Why? The pro membership needs working on. There are a lot of things you can’t do because of it which is frustrating. No point in advertising AI filters when half your users can’t even use it. The music needs updating. There are many tunes, but I can’t find the nice ones or ones that are trending. There is a lot of swearing. I’m okay with that, but does it have to pop up in every single video? Also why did you have to remove the live makeup filter! I loved that! Now I’m not going to be all negative, as your app is very sleek and easy to use, apart from the issues above. It is very fun, and I could spend hours looking at all the templates. Thank you for changing that layout, as it was so confusing, so that really helped. Overall, there are some things which need working on, but THANK YOU FOR THIS EASY AND FUN APP! (Could you try to make a trailer/movie section?)

Cap cut, honest thoughts 🥰

To start off this review I just want to say this is honest and I’m going to tell the absolute truth no buts about it. My personal thoughts are it helps you get out your emotions in the right way. For example you have an amazing friend but it’s cringe to say you are an amazing friend. So then you think to yourself how am I going to tell tell them that they are amazing? And only people with CapCut would know the solution to that………… MAKE A CAP CUT.! First you should use a template so you tap the template box at the bottom of your screen, search up “ best friend edit “ After that you watch those videos that come up. Next add your own pictures. And click send! Then start making your own! So recently I had a break up. It was tough bc I found out he was cheating on me oh and was mad really mad 😡So I made a CapCut video not going to lie it was an amazing experience and a phenomenal video. All I did was put some pictures together and BOOM 💥 my life changed just like that. Now I feel great and he feels awful get a CapCut and your life can change in a heartbeat 💗

Accurate Review

Great free editing app with updates regularly that’s been compared to apps like adobe after effects. Capcut Pro is amazing aswell you may have to pay but it’s worth it if your looking to edit a lot on it as it has amazing features with it. I have been using it for years and have used other editing apps in the past and I think this app is far better.

Of course there’s going to be a few problems but they do not make much of a difference like if you place alot of effects in the one edit it will become extremely laggy and hard to edit but once you export it it will become extremely smooth and will turn out great. I recommend this for beginners and for people who are unable to access a device that has adobe after effects or is unable to pay for a subscription on after effects or just simply looking for an alternative app to edit on and is just looking for a switch.

I think a great twist would be to build your own filters. So when on camera there is an effects button as you know. When you go under topic of makeup, there could be and option to build a filter. So you could choose what type of freckle eye makeup/colour lip colour etc. there could also be an ability to share them with other users so that they can use the filter too. There could be a collection of filters of all kinds, a bit like Snapchat, that are made by other people for users to use.

Great for starters

This app is really great as it has a wide selection of effects to choose from to help make very unique edits. They even have templates if you may feel lazy about editing or maybe the main editing page is a bit too intimidating for you. It definitely still has is bugs where sometimes you may be trying to write a text but it don't show. This is goes away with a little reboot with the app. This is my main editing app as im a mobile editor, but sometimes this app can be a bit too basic for me, im trying to look into after effects (very big jump i know) to help get very specific effects. The most you can do on cap-cut is adjust the intensity and range and maybe other things, but not change the whole effect in itself

I cannot express enough how easy and great this editing app is, my old editing app used to be InShot but i always had many problems with it. Cap-cut all the way.

Hi! This is about your new update

This editing app is probably the best one I’ve found so far, But there is some issues I’ve noticed. I’ve had this app since about 2021. I’ve loved all the lay out and I got used to it pretty quickly. (Even though for some people it may of been harder to wrap there head around how to edit and where to find everything such as the effects, filters etc.) Although since there new update, where they have moved all the effect round and changed somethings. It has been very difficult to edit : I had got a lot more used to how the effect and the other changes were like before. I understand It may be different for some people (like new users of this app.) But since I’ve been using this editing app since 2021, it has been very difficult and I am not to keen on this update. I understand that you probably can’t do much about this. I just want to make this more aware : as I’ve seen on the other popular app you have made (TikTok) people do not find this update any easier.

CapCut is pretty good

I love how it is good for editing and it has all theses cool effects and all but the bad things about is that when u try to say do a edit and u decide you want some music for the edit but the music Is not good at all like if you try type up any tick tock audios that would be a perfect for you edit nothing comes up like the songs are just really bad so if CapCut see this please try get more popular songs cause that would be great like today I tried to type up flowers by miley Cyrus if that how u spell it but nothing came up and like flowers is such a class song so now I don’t even do edits anymore cause there’s no good songs and I really like speed up songs but the only one that came up was snap and it’s not even that good so I don’t even do edits because of the sound so now I am thinking about deleting it idk but in my opinion there are better apps so all I am trying to say is CapCut plssssss more good songs cause that would be great but I gusse CapCut is good for editing so I would give CapCut a solid 3 star but everyone has there own options thank you for taking time to read my comment and goodbye

CapCut deleted my project

CapCut is the best editing app there is, it’s the only app I use now. But yesterday, I was working on a new project and before I started it I deleted some old projects to free up space. When I was done with my project I screen recorded it before saving it and after some time passed I opened the app and my project wasn’t there! I have evidence of my project existing (screen recording) and I have even made a copy of it within the app, which I am unable to find. Instead, all of my old projects returned, even ones I deleted months ago, which didn’t make sense. There is no app support that is related to my situation so I am begging please CapCut help restore my project, if my old deleted ones came back to life it means it’s possible! This project took me 4 long hours to make and it was for work, even though I have a screen recording I had to still do some adjustments to it and save it in its original form, which I am unable to do now. Please respond🙏

Best phone video software editing I’ve ever used

I don’t usually do reviews ever but I really do think the developers deserve the credit where it’s due. This is hands down the best editing software I’ve ever used on a smartphone to the point where, for my own editing purposes and what I do…I never want to use a pc for editing again. It’s so much faster to do it on your phone these days and these guys nailed it. Everything easy to find and add Filters / Effects/ Music etc

Sure, It’s not necessarily going to be used by universal studios but that’s not the point of this software is it? It isn’t trying to be something that it’s not and because of that it doubles down on what it’s good at. Being a fast, feature rich and efficient phone video editor. The audio extraction feature is incredible and editing the soundtrack is a breeze. Only very small gripe with that is I wish you could zoom in just a little more to make macro adjustments when splicing tracks together. All in all, for the average user where speed and ease of use trumps all else, ie most people…

This app is amazing, I 100% recommend.

So the bad reviews: a lot of people are complaining they are missing features that others have, probably because they need to update the app (the app has lots of updates where new features are added).Those who are saying that the chroma key is missing, if u click on remove background, the option to use the chroma key is now under that category. Quite a few people are confused as to why when u click ‘enable access to photos’ it takes u to settings. You have to scroll down to the bottom where it lists the apps. Click on CapCut. Click on photo access. Then press enable access.

This is a brilliant app I use it for all my edits. Although you are better of using audio from somewhere else (there is a feature that enables you too use music from iTunes Store or extract ur from videos) as the audio CapCut provides is….not great.

Great! Love it, but-

This app is GREAT. i love it, it helps me improve my editing skills and its simple to use! It can teach you all kinds of stuff. You can do many experiments using this app, and it wont be hard. However… When i have a long video, for example an 8 minute one. I add a blur but i have to wait ages to bring it to the end, maybe there should be a button where it brings the effect or overlay to the end because its really annoying how i have to wait 2 minutes just for my overlay to get to the end of the video. I also dont like how making the choppy speed slower and waiting for it to finish loading. It takes way too long, especially for longer videos like a 10 minute one. Please fix them. Especially the first one because i really do like this app. Its just these little problems “RAGING” my head! Overall, i recommend this app for starters. Its a great learning experience for younger children to try out different effects on their videos! Thanks for making this app. Just please fix these before my socks fall out. 😁

Good but...

This app is amazing for beginning editors, but my only problem is their isn’t enough options for video/image animations. I really like when people do typography edits as it looks really cool, and i know there is a way to do that on capcut but i think it would be easier if there was an option for that in the effects or something. There also aren’t enough good transitions. I don’t really think there’s any point in the more cartoony transitions because they just look more childish and are less likely to be used (personally).

Also, (i’m not sure if this is a problem with my phone or not, but...) whenever i’ve spent a longtime on the app, it eventually gets very laggy. sometimes i’m able to keep up with it but other times it can be frustrating as it’s harder to match up the footage to the audio.

There are many things to be improved, but i do like that the watermark at the end of the video can be deleted without any sort of payment (which not many decent editing apps usually allow). This is a great app for beginners like i said, and i would definitely recommend if you are trying editing for the first time.

overall really good but

hi! capcut is an AMAZING editing app that we all can admit is really fun and good to use but i have some laggy issues whilst on it, such as when i add a bunch of short photos it is really laggy it is absolutely fine when i export it though. sometimes it kicks me off when im exporting it too. i also have some good recommendations that i think you should add! 1: smooth slomo - i think you should add this because it will make our videos smooth instead of laggy like the slomo that you have right now, it is very laggy and i think needs fixing. 2: hue shift - you see, it would add an effect and its really cool, you see that video star, funimate, alight motion, ae etc have them it, i think you should add it! 3 - a longer ghost effect - there is one in effects right now but its quite fast and if you slow it right down it is still quite fast. there is a way to get a really slow one but it is a huge waste of time.

Ways to improve 👍🏽

I really love this editing app amazing I use it for basically all my edits but there are some things that annoy me when using the app and wanting to make edits. One of these are the horrible slow motions they look ugly and choppy all im asking is for way smoother slow motions I try everything to make the look less bad but they still come out Looking horrible. Another thing I would say to improve is how laggy it gets after editing for around an hour or more the edit starts looking glitchy i have no idea if it’s just my phone or the apps Fault because of this I have to save it and check my camera roll to see how it looks and if it looks bad. The last thing is improve your quality of videos when I add pictures and videos the quality comes out terrible and I have to go onto adjust to make the quality better which I find very annoying.I hope these things are added as soon as possible to make a CapCut a Better app then it already is.

Amazing but 1 problem

I think CapCut is amazing I’ve used it for over a month now and it is extremely useful

But there is a crop screen effect but you can only add it to videos so you don’t know where to go if like to add it so that instead or as well as being able to do that to make is so that you can record a video with that effect and same with any other effect you could as such as colourbomb bling and time warp scan I would also like a zoom feature I would also like a feature where you can get more stickers such as icons and you can search on them so that you can make a thumbnail for a yt video if also like it so that when you make a new project it asks you if you’d like it to be a video or photo just in case you want to make a thumbnail not a video

There is one bug however sometimes when I’m trying to make an edit I go to add a photo but all my photos aren’t there it’s just black

But then after a while they come back

great but needs improvements

I think this app would be 5 stars if it made some improvements. First of all, I like how simple it is but I wish you could made custom transitions and more options for shakes. Overall the app is great, but it’s also very hard to make a pretty, slow, smooth shake with text so you have to save the video over and over again to make the shakes with the combos. Please add custom transitions, and more options for the animation of text! Overall, I LOVE the new 3D thing with pictures! But I also wish you could add transitions for photos. I’m mostly looking for an app with shakes, all of my edits are the same style and I just want something new you know? I’m trying to find other apps to do these really smooth shakes, like after affects for example, but that’s only available on a pc. CapCut is a very easy, and great app, but I wish there were more options, so I wouldn’t have to save, and re add the same video adding more and more transitions, to still not be able to get what I want. Anyways, please add this! Overall your app is great, I love it! Thank you for taking your time to read this.
