Description
The LifeSight App aims to make saving to and through retirement as easy and understandable as possible. Working alongside your online LifeSight Account, the app is the most convenient way for you to engage with your pension savings to help you plan for your future.
FEATURES
+ View your account value and compare it to how much you and your employer have paid in.
+ Access the ageOmeter tool to understand when you might be able to afford to retire.
+ View a breakdown of your account by contribution type - the source of the savings in your account - or by the funds your savings are invested in.
+ View your current investment decisions.
+ View your recent transactions such as the amount of your latest regular contribution.
+ View the investment performance of funds you are invested in and compare that to other funds available within LifeSight.
+ Easily click through to your online LifeSight account to action any changes.
+ Set up notifications to remind you to check the LifeSight app.
+ If you have multiple accounts within LifeSight, you are able to add them all to the app and easily switch between them.
GET STARTED
- Download the ‘LifeSight Pension GB’ app
- Using a web browser, log in* to your online LifeSight Account
- In the top-right hand corner (or in the footer of the page on mobile), click on Settings -> LifeSight App
- Generate a secure token to be entered into the app the first time you log in
- That's it! You'll then be asked to enable Touch or Face ID, or set up a PIN for future access.
*IMPORTANT
You must have an account with LifeSight GB to be able to use this application. This will be the case if your employer, or a past employer, has selected LifeSight as their chosen pension arrangement. Alternatively, you may have selected LifeSight as your drawdown provider in retirement.
If you've never logged in before, you should be able to get to your online LifeSight account through your employer’s HR portal if you still work at the company. If your LifeSight pension savings are from a past employment, you will need to request login details if you do not already have them, and then log in online at http://lifesight-epa.com/.
SECURITY
The LifeSight mobile app has been tested extensively by independent specialists to make sure it’s secure, so you can use the LifeSight App with confidence.
The data used is encrypted to ensure privacy, and the app will only use a trusted secure channel for communication with LifeSight services. It also automatically logs you out after a set period of time if the app is in the background.
As mentioned above, you’ll use a secure token to log in to the app for the first time, after which you can create a PIN or choose to use Touch or Face ID, ensuring nobody else will be able to access your account.

Ageometer doesn’t work on device
Pretty useless change from the old app which work quite well, the age alter section which actually tells you what you might get out of the system doesn’t work as it wants to load a file on your phone.

Useful and entertaining app
Well done to the development team, I enjoy this app, I almost check it every day as I like to see my pension performance day by day. Great reports as well that allow to see the split by contribution and fund and current value of them.
Only thing, in the last update the colours have changed, personally I liked more the old colour scheme, this looks a bit too punchy. Anyway, keep up the good work!

When it does work it’s useful enough but that’s about 50% of the time, the other 50% just hangs on the loading screen.

This app is really bad and the website not much better. Slow, doesn’t work properly, looks like it’s just a frontend to the website. Please improve it.

Nice tool to check up on my pension
Does what it needs to do so I can check how investments are doing and when my contributions are paid in. If I need to transact I use the main site.

Incomplete function, unreliable organisation
1. The application does not allow the set up OR monitoring of progress of ad-hoc drawdowns.
2. The WTW organisation seems incapable of reliably processing simple ad-hoc draw-down requests. Of the 7 requests I have made, giving adequate notice of the date required, 4 have failed to complete as requested, requiring further prompts and chasing from me to be delivered between 7 and 14 days late. That’s just not good enough in a competitive sector.

New Version Crashes
Just loaded new version. When I access it all I get is the message”This data cannot be displayed”. If I try and go into the performance option the whole thing just crashes. Unbelievable. Would really like a response from the developers about when this will be fixed. Please don’t respond by saying “send us an email”. Update:- reloaded, rebooted and all is working well. Have revised my rating to 4stars.

Lost sync with App Store
Deleted app to try to reset a problem synchronising to LifeSight website (token refresh not working), now App Store still thinks I have the app on my iPhone even though I haven’t and won’t let me Re-download it. Instead now have to use the website via laptop which is painfully slow abs often offline or partially offline

Waste of time
Apparently after calling as I couldn’t get in I have 2 accounts but can only access one with zero fund - confused. Cant get a secure token ( I have iPhone XR and latest updates). My other account goes to an old employer and I can’t access anything. I reckon understanding pensions is easier than gaining access to this app

Good when you can get in
Problem Is that the app keeps forgetting my login details which means I keep having to login to get a new token. This renders the app is useless prepared to just accessing it online. I hope they can fix this as otherwise it’s an excellent application.

I’ve tried to use this app and it’s userbility is quite shocking - I will be looking to move my pension pot to another provider that doesn’t charge extortionate fees and actually manage their own range of funds unlike this cowboy outfit

Pretty good always room for improvement
A great secret app for getting a snapshot, and watching the ups and downs in fund performance. Layout is really user friendly, and love the fingerprint login. Room for improvement as for example the 1 year fund performance gives 1 year and 1 day performance, as the start date is a day early. And I’d like to see the planning tools here too.
