Description

The new Willis Towers Watson ‘Track My Pension’ app makes it easy for you to keep up to date with your pension arrangements. If you have a defined contribution pension that is administered by Willis Towers Watson and your employer has signed up to receive the application, then you can now use your mobile device to view and track your pension.This app is non-transactional and displays key elements of your pension funds. You can login using either Touch ID, Face ID or create a 6-digit pin.
From the Home Screen -
- View Investment Overview - details of the current balance of your account, split by the fund types
- Add multiple accounts - if you have another WTW managed account
- View Investment Decisions - shows details of any personal fund choices and strategy options
- View Unit Price History - shows fund performance for the selected funds over a specific period, alongside the current balance invested in this fund
- View Transactions - shows the totals of transactions made on your account
- View Projected Benefits - some schemes also show an estimate of what your pension could be when you retire
This App currently supports iOS 12+
Setup and Install by 3 simple steps:
1. Register
To register for the app, logon to the Willis Towers Watson ePA Pension website.
Go to the ‘Mobile App’ option under ‘Settings’, approve the T&C’s. Select the ‘Generate Passcode’ button on the screen to obtain login credentials for the app. If you don’t have the login credentials to access your ePA pension account please contact our Service Desk using the email address provided on the website above.
2. Install
Download the ‘Track My Pension’ mobile app to your device.
3. Login and access your ‘Track My Pension’ app.
To login to the app, enter the Username and Passcode credentials that were displayed during registration on the
ePA pension website. To access the app in future you can save your credentials to Touch ID, Face ID or create a 6-digit pin.

Slow, unstable, practically unusable

One of the worst apps I’ve ever used. Feels like it’s been developed by a first year archaeology student who got bored of digging up fossils and decided to make one.
Been years, no improvements, safe to say they don’t really care about this app.

Unable to log in

I’m getting network error message when trying to access my account and reading other reviews it seems to be an issue. This application should not have gone live if you cannot get past a login page… shocking and doesn’t give me much confidence that my account is safe on this application!!

Terrible

This app worked for years however in the last 3 years it has been horrific. I have been having issues and when calling they are unable to help. In the last few months it says it is a service issue or being updated. I have tried to reset using code provided online still no success. Surely if the app was working successfully for years and you have tried to update unsuccessful then you should revert back to the old process until you sort out the problems. Covid is being blamed for everything this is not an excuse. Sort this out for your customers

Extremely poor

For a massive scheme like ours you should expect the basics to be there. Login experience woeful, login issues repeatedly, no functionality, a checklist that looks complete with no Design thinking at all. Needs to be moved to someone more capable. No stars if I could give it that.

What’s the point with app?

App doesn’t load and all you get is timeout error. To make it worse, the app conveniently ignores the fact that you have enabled Face ID before but still makes you go through the 15 steps before you generate the passcode to log in … who am I kidding? I meant getting the network / timeout error.

Load time and errors

This app needs sorting out. These must be clearly known issues with it in terms of the load time every time you click on the app, and the fact that with every single time on the first time of logging in it fails / times out, and then eventually works on the second attempt. Listen to your customers and take action please!

Hopeless

Completely useless. Used to retrieve pension value maybe once every 5 times, now it never works. Shouldn’t be available as an app. Fairly typical of WTW’s approach to everything in my experience.

Still Complete crap

Frequently fails to connect, claiming network error or due to service being down. Happens on multiple different connections and other apps work fine so can only assume that they take the service down for maintenance 6 days a week or so…. The fact that the first option it then gives you is to “Remove saved account” is hardly user friendly and perhaps indicates how much confidence/interest they place in this app….
Will they ever fix it?!

Absolutely shocking

Not sure how this app has met any of Apple’s basic criteria for a financial service application … as with previous app next to impossible to get a connection and all you get from the IT devs is uninstall, clear cache and reinstall … have seen better quality apps from my child’s year 7 IT class … the developers should be truly embarrassed by the fundamental basics of access! Note to App Store for ratings need to have a zero star rating as this is a prime candidate

Very average.

The app shows some basic pension details, but it’s extremely slow and looks like something that was built for early smart phones. Could really do with a facelift and some work behind the scenes to bring it up to date and make user experience smoother.

Can’t even log on

I am using the same details as the website and it doesn’t recognise me. Just changed my password and I can see I’ve entered it correctly. What hope for the rest of the app?

Total rubbish

This is the first app I have tried to use where I have commented as it’s total crap. I phoned them to ask why I couldn’t connect and was told it was a known issue and being fixed by the end of the day. Well that was 2 days ago and I still can’t connect. If you can’t design an app for modern day use then don’t bother and save your money. If I was this company, I would ask for my money back from the developers as you’ve been defrauded as a child could have done a better job with this app.

Useless

As others have said. Historically 3/4 of the time it fails to load although over the last week or so that has increased to 100% failure. Don’t waste space on your device with this garbage.

Frustrating ….

Awful app, fails to log in the majority of the time, haven’t been able to log in for over two weeks …., takes ages to give the same error message. It seems others have the same issue, hence the appalling rating applied.

Pretty poor

Slow to load. 46 seconds..like it’s running on a spectrum , just to find it has no functionality, other than fund value . Even the ? Help buttons don’t work and points you back to the portal. Also needs different login credentials! Quicker to use the main website…

Slow, limited functionality and accessibility

This app is quite confusing to use. It took me several minutes of digging to find where to generate the passcode on the web. Then it kept wiping the data when foregrounding so I had to memorise the username and password as they couldn’t both be copied and pasted from the web.
Once in, the data is slow to load, and quite confusing. Unit prices help doesn’t actually explain what data they’re presenting, instead it shows an alert that refers to specific colours, which is not great for colour blind customers. The latest transactions is also confusing, as it includes details of phase switches without actually explaining what these are or how they work.
It doesn’t look like this app was tested with real users, either in concept phase to understand what is important to customers or once released to get a view on performance. Pity that I’m stuck with it.

Terrible app

Not sure who made this app but it is terrible. I thought there was something wrong with my connection but the issue is the app.
I wouldn’t leave a negative feedback normally but this app is frustrating and time wasting.

Timeouts / unusable

Consistent timeout messages saying network issues or service being down.
If service being down then you should publish service schedule downtime.
Feels like the mobile service is not any different from the last app that was developed.
If you want to improve your rating then please sort this out.

Worst app I have ever come across

Exactly the same as multiple other users, cannot log in at all, just presented with an error message stating to check connection - all other apps working fine. Even the website has got worse (didn’t think it was possible) and slower. Absolutely not recommended at all.

Rarely loads, the only choice is to remove the log on details. I now have no access to the pension page so cannot regenerate a log on code. Worst app I have ever used.

Worked first time, but not since

Downloaded the iOS app and worked first time, but hasn’t worked since. It takes ages to connect before failing with the same error messages noted by other reviewers. I’ve reinstalled and it’s still not worked, so have deleted.
WTW clearly need to update the app to make it fit for purpose.

Totally Useless

Managed to log in once. App now continually says “service temporarily unavailable, we are having trouble retrieving your credentials”. An EPIC failure from the development team.

What a Terrible app, devs be ashamed

I don’t normally leave reviews for app but found it was necessary in this case, the app is terrible, it takes ages to load and when trying to add to a new device you get either a timeout error or can’t be completed please check your internet connection, my connection is fine, works for everything else just not this app, I feel a child made this app. Devs take a good look at this app, then destroy it and start again with the build, i’m very disappointed with this app and would not recommend it to anyone.

Difficult to set up
