Misleading Pricing Structure
CAUTION: pricing structure is misleading. The offer was €15 for 1 day with the first hour free. I got charged for every minute.

been extremely useful to get around in my six weeks in florence but many times has failed to log in automatically and then cannot send me a mobile code to log in with my number (i assume because i have a foreign number) and so i have been stranded, unable to use the bikes :(

Good for foreigners
I have tried different apps. And some wouldn’t let me create an account because of foreign number or bank account or sth. Everything worked well with this one. My only issue was that I accidentally bought ebike plan and not a normal bike, which I wanted, but that was my mistake. Didn’t really check that i need to chose it at the top. It was automatically put on ebike.
Plenty of bikes in the city of Turin. But I would avoid rush hour. People have very different driving habits here.

Do not use - €30 for 10 mins
Downloaded for one trip. App would not let me lock the bike so I was charged for a 2 hour trip. On top of this I was fined as I parked the bike outside the operating area. I would’ve understood this but I started my ride 1.5km outside the operating area and was not told that to use the bike without being fined I’d have to cycle back in to the centre of the city (into the operating area), which was not where I needed to go. Customer services were no help.

SCAM! STAY FAR AWAY!!!
I came from London and paid €15 for 24 hours. My battery was full and lasted me only 1-2 hours, but the scam is where you give your card details where you’re charged constantly; I was charged at least 5 times and now have to wait on virtual assistance because there is no one to talk to. Never using again, even as a last resort.

Very difficult to find a bike that works, even when they do you can’t ride them without battery. Ever heard of using your legs?!

Not for short people
Paid for the bike and trip but wasn’t able to use it as the bike was too big (not immediately evident until I sat on it and the seat wouldn’t go down any further). Literally wasted so much time and effort. Put a real dampener on what was otherwise a great trip. Such a shame.

Bad customer service
I rented a bike for a “day” assuming I could use it for 24 but when I parked and locked it for the night the session expired and I was charged a fee for parking it in the wrong spot. I offered to move it as soon as I realised it was the wrong spot but was refused. If you do used this app be very careful where you park the bike and don’t be fooled by the 1 day deal which is not a one day deal.

Terrible customer service
I used this app in November 2021 and it signed me up to a monthly subscription plan without realising.
It has been charging me gradually more money every month and the customer service team will not reply to my emails to help me cancel my subscription. I have now been charged nearly £100 and my subscription still has not been cancelled.

Really bad customer experience
You top up 20m and ride for 12. Then top up another 20 and you think you’ll have 28, but no. The app uses up 8 and charges for the rest per minute. You can only use the other 20 during another ride. Then it has the audacity to automatically top up. What a scam.

Poor service and no customer care. Still waiting for refund after several months.
Was forced to move onto this app from the Mobike app and lost my wallet balance. Customer service continues to ignore my refund request. Incredibly unprofessional. Do not recommend. Also, bike rental far too expensive. I’d rather walk.
After over a year I am still waiting for my refund and a response from Mobike.
Movi say that they can’t do anything and I need to take it up with Mobike but Mobike aren’t responding.
Surely if a company takes over another, in this case Movi taking over Mobike, they should do all they can to help the customer?!
