On target to save £30,000!

I’ve been using Sprive for the last 8 months on literally everything. Whether I shop somewhere now generally depends on whether they’re on Sprive or not 😆 we’re in the middle of a home renovation so just don’t have budget for overpaying our mortgage so this is literally life changing. Thank you for this app, it’s only getting better and better.

Must be better way

The idea works in theory, but in practice it feels quite clunky. Having to purchase a voucher at checkout adds extra time to the process, which isn’t always convenient—especially if there isn’t a self-checkout option available.

Great concept shame it’s awkward and clunky!

The concept of Sprive is great, however it’s far too clunky and awkward at the tills so I only ever use it on self pay checkouts with no queues behind me. However that’s if it works, as it fails nearly every time and can’t connect to the bank and therefore you can’t generate the gift card. Sprive’s support is awful too! Avoid.

Good app. Better savings elsewhere

Sprive doesn’t deliver the savings it appears to. I already use the SmartSpending app through work, which offers better value on a like-for-like basis. For example, on a £100 Tesco shop I save 4% (£4) with SmartSpending, paying £96. With Sprive, the same £100 spend earns only £2.50.
Sprive highlights the additional mortgage interest saved to make the overall benefit seem larger. But if I simply took the £4 saving from SmartSpending and paid it toward my mortgage, the interest saved would actually be greater.
Based on my mortgage details, that £4 saving could reduce my mortgage by about £18 including interest, compared with roughly £11 through Sprive. In reality, Sprive offers a smaller overall benefit—it just presents it differently.

Great idea

I downloaded this after seeing it on Dragons Den and I think it’s great and I’m earning money for just doing my normal shopping. Maybe something that can be looked at is some gift cards within the app after purchasing them show the remaining balance (Sainsbury’s) but others don’t and you need to log into whatever site they are for to check (Amazon). Also if I’m being picky I’m not sure what the point of the mortgage comparison section is as it only ever seems to show me one or two banks and I’ve never heard of them. There are better rates elsewhere but for some reason these banks don’t appear. Overall though it’s a fantastic idea and helps chip away at the pesky mortgage. Well done !!

Such a no brainer

The concept of this is amazing! It's basically free money to overpay your mortgage. I've been recommending it to everyone I know!
It would be good if you were able to see the impact you've already made to your mortgage interest rather than what they forecast you'd save if you carry on using the app.

Unreliable partner stores reduce usefulness

While the actual app itself is a great idea and works well, some stores on the app (such as M&S) have very unreliable voucher portals which leads to a ton of inconvenience. While not an issue with Sprive itself, Sprive often still allow for vouchers to be purchased with broken company portals. If Sprive improve their ‘health checks’ when it comes to partner availability I would increase my review score, but for now it causes me great frustration and unnecessary emails to their support team to actually retrieve the voucher I purchased.

Good concept bad app

App always freezes, doesn’t load, can’t download vouchers to Apple wallet so when it comes to loading it at the till where there is inevitably no signal, it doesn’t load so can’t be used.

New version is a step backwards

The original app was great, correctly tracked both auto payments and cash back. The original chart with how much you’d saved on your mortgage updated every month so felt like progress was being made, with changes in timelines for paying the mortgage off. The new version graphs don’t update, often miss off auto payments and the projections are based on averages rather than the actual. Please, please bring back the old features for tracking progress.

It’s ok but better options if your disciplined

Cashback rates are poor but they make it look good by showing projected savings. Good for if you don’t want to manually transfer savings, but otherwise Cheddar and Jam Doughnut offer you more eg £3.50 on a £100 Tesco voucher which if you manually save and transfer to your mortgage gives you greater savings. So you can trade off simplicity or do a bit of shopping around if you’re savvy enough.

Good but with one flaw

This is a great idea. It works well and it’s transparent and easy to use. Setup is easy as well.
There’s just one problem. For frequent shops that use gift cards, in my case Tesco mostly, after you’ve used a few, their anti fraud software gets suspicious and you start getting ‘human verifications’, which you can pass of course, but eventually Tesco just locks you out. I now cannot access a Tesco gift card if I purchase one due to Tesco’s fraud precision measures. Not Sprive’s fault per se but it stops me using the service for my biggest applicable monthly expense, food shopping. I’m starting to get this response from other retailers too so it would appear that they just aren’t ready for this type of thing. Great idea but let down in practice, by the partner retailers.
Probably fine for one off big purchases but repeat voucher purchases with the same retailer very quickly become a brick wall.

Total Game Changer

Over paying on my mortgage has always felt unobtainable especially in recent years with the cost of living crisis. Sprive has been a total game changer for that, by making tiny changes to how I shop, by buying gift vouchers through Sprive I am now able to make over payments. Sprive is clear to use and easily shows you how these payments have an effect on your mortgage (and the interest). Thanks Sprive you make me feel like I’m winning the adult game!

Actually very good

Pretty easy to use with a nice app that’s informative and tells you what your going to get and save.
Only criticism is you have to redirect to your bank app each time to choose the account and approve payment. But I imagine it’s because they have to do it as a bank transfer to minimise fees and maximise your commission.
Overall lets you save on your mortgage without changing your normal shopping habits. Very pleased thank you.

Clunky

In principle this is a great idea, however on using it, it’s painful especially when in store, go to checkout place the total in the app buy a card pay for shopping with the gist card, or buy a gift card upfront. Makes the process of shopping longer when in store, annoying when phone signal in some shops is poor and the queue behind you is stacking up. There has to be a better way,

This is amazing love the idea been using have £1.79 just from two days of food shop, however wanting access to my current account and being able to look at all my transactions and information as well as wanting my mortgage details is made me a little uneasy. Almost perfect

I love the idea of Spire but it needs a little optimisation. I’ve had bank payments for vouchers hang and when I started the app today it asked me to link my account then couldn’t find my mortgage (both steps had already been completed). I’ve also tried adding my estimated property value but that doesn’t work. Buying vouchers could also be more streamlined, it a little fiddly and takes too long when you’re at the checkout. Great concept but quite buggy, in my short experience with the app.

Terrible customer service

The app itself is fine, but getting a response from them when you have a query makes you wonder how trustworthy they are, given they have your bank and mortgage linked, when they don’t respond to straightforward queries.
I received an email saying as an early adopter I could claim the “plus” version with a nudge to leave a review (I’d imagine leading to the large majority of positive reviews below….). I followed the very simple instruction of replying “yes” to the email and despite reassurances in the initial email that this would be actioned in 15 minutes, nothing happened. Over the course of 3 weeks I’ve sent a couple of chaser emails and, having no response, contacted them on Facebook messenger. Initially I had a response telling me they’d look into it and, you guessed it, nothing!
Now I really don’t mind if they sent it in error or there’s a reason why they’d offer something and then not honour it but to just ignore my really polite enquiries is pretty shocking. I’m asking for a response as to why I was offered something that was never actioned. If I contacted them because there was a data breach or a hack, I wonder how long they’d take to respond because the impression I now have is incredibly poor and leads me to feel they are entirely disingenuous and dishonest. .

No credit card integration

Disappointing that Sprive do not support credit cards to make voucher transactions. They state this is to support maximising rewards/ cashback, but credit cards offer 0% periods therefore can make sense for larger purchases and a smaller cashback amount would still be beneficial.

Love this app

I love this app. Great concept and an easy way to chip away at my mortgage balance/ length using spending I'd be doing anyway! I recommend to everyone!
One star removed as, since the recent update, my graphics aren't updating and show no auto-savings (in orange) in the monthly chart, and the payment activity chart is also not updating any payments. This takes away from the satisfaction of seeing the visual accumulation each month :(

Great app

This has been a great app download. We have paid over £30 off our mortgage in the last 2 months on things that we would have bought regardless. I am always checking what brands are available. I tend to shop at Tesco but you can’t use a gift card online so have swapped to Asda and able to get cash back on every weekly shop delivered.

Sprive

Brilliant idea, great app! Easy to use, better than your average cash back site because you are clearing your mortgage without any effort. Be warned though - it gets addictive! Seeing the payments coming off the mortgage in the banking app is a great feeling. You can just use the cash back you have earned, or top up the payments from your account, it’s really easy. I don’t shop anywhere now until I’ve checked in Sprive to see if I can get a voucher first. Absolutely recommend this app if you are serious about reducing your mortgage with minimal effort.

Chipping away

It doesn’t feel like much at the time, but by using Sprive on our weekly food shops, and for some larger appliance purchases we have been able to pay off hundreds of pounds on our mortgage each year. When the app calculates how much this will save you in time on your mortgage, you can really see the difference these small steps make. I use it religiously now and it’s become second nature. So pleased to have found it.

Brilliant app

I’ve been using the app for about a year now and it’s been fantastic for helping me to save money and be able to make extra payments towards my mortgage. I find the quick payments option so good now, when I first started out I had to input my security details with my bank every time so this improvement has sped the process up. The only thing I would say is that the number of sites affiliated are a little limited until you can access Sprive Plus, which opens up a whole wealth of companies. Highly recommend if your goal is to pay your mortgage off quickly.

The app is easy to use, and a simple way to make small overpayments towards your mortgage (every little does help!) there’s a large range of places to shop participating which is great. I now buy gift cards ahead of time as it can take a while if signal isn’t great. Any time I’ve had any issues, I’ve contacted customer services and they’ve responded quickly and have always been able to help. Such a great idea to help reduce mortgage payments.

Amazing

We’ve been using Sprive for about 6 months now and the only complaint we have is that we didn’t find it sooner. It’s really easy to use and there’s 100s of shops and places on there that you can use. Every time we now go to buy something first thing we do is check Sprive to make sure the shop is on there. In about 6 months we already saved £100 off our mortgage. Once you’ve linked your mortgage account, it’s 1 click and the money is on your account the next day so it’s pretty much instant. Highly recommend it.

Excellent for paying more toward your mortgage

I had my doubts about this when I first heard about it. But that said it has changed my whole perspective when it comes to shopping. I have paid over £300 toward my mortgage in the last few months. It is easy to track your mortgage in the app and purchasing gifts cards is relatively easy. The communication between the bank and the vendor can be a little slow but other than that the app is great.

Great way to put a little extra towards your mortgage

I love a good discount and cash back and had wanted to put more towards my mortgage so Sprive is just what I needed. I love that there are key supermarkets on there so every month I buy a voucher for my fave shop which also helps me budget for my food shopping. The % you save with the voucher goes in your Sprive account and you can connect with your mortgage account, which was also super easy! Then whenever you like you can choose to send that money to your mortgage lender to overpay on your mortgage. Such a great idea to get more for your discounts and help eat into the mortgage a bit more. I also like that you can add some of the vouchers to your Apple wallet so even easier.

Makes paying mortgage fun

We really love this app, we use the shopping cards every week for our grocery shopping and it's amazing how quickly the pounds accumulate. Payments are really fast and show on my mortgage statement in a couple of days. The auto save feature is also helpful as makes saving a breeze - you've saved the money away before you've been tempted to spend it. Highly recommend this app

Great app, easy UI, great for saving on your mortgage

Really useful app for seeing how much you can reduce your mortgage if you set overpayments and how much interest and time you could shave off your mortgage in the long run. Get extra discounts whilst you shop at your usual supermarkets or other online shops you can use to further reduce your mortgage. Highly recommend, especially since their new update to the user interface (UI).

Good but…. It’s getting better

The idea of this is fantastic, chip away at your mortgage through your normal shop!
I am a ‘load a card at the till’ shopper, so it’s incredibly frustrating that the app signs you out constantly and to sign back in you have to wait for an email, click a link….I normally just abort using the app. I wish it just kept me signed in or Face ID was sufficient.
I have also found at times, it says that there was an error producing the gift card, so again I abort and just pay. Then as soon as I’m out the shop i get a notification that payment was taken and a gift card is now available the app.
I think the idea is fantastic and the app is great when it works. I just think the app needs a bit of refinement to make it more stable and easy to use.
Update; Since the latest update the app seems more stable. It still a bit slow at moments but certainly more usable.

So glad I found it

I was rather skeptical when I first came across Sprive but having used it to already overpay our mortgage from our christmas purchases, it’s our first stop when we go to buy anything to see if we can get cash back. If you’re going to spend it anyway, why not get some money back to help pay off your mortgage at the same time! So easy to use and so effective. Thank you 🙏

A Great Concept

This app has been amazing!
It is such a great a concept and way to help ordinary people to be able to save money and pay off the mortgage at the same time.
I buy £100 gift cards for Sainsburys at and earn a couple of quid off it, which goes onto my mortgage. All of the pennies no matter how small or big that you get as cashback, adds up and can then save you interest on the mortgage too.

Great app, saving on mortgage without trying!

This app is great, it does take some getting used to and by that I mean just remembering to use it! The amount of purchases I could have made money back on and didn’t because I just forgot but the more you use it the better you get at remembering. I have never overpaid on my mortgage until now! This is so much better than other cashback apps because I never really noticed the benefit of the others and cashback was minimal! I have even switched to shopping in store for my weekly shop just so I can get the cashback!

Great app but sometimes doesn't load if internet signal isn't strong

I really like this app and use it a lot for shopping. Great idea to save a bit of money on the mortgage. The gift card mechanism can be clunky, especially if internet is slow. The way it works also means that the payment shows as a payment to myself, rather than to e.g. Sainsbury's, so it can be difficult to track what I've spent where. Maybe this is available to see in the app and I've missed it, but I haven't seen such a possibility.
If internet is weak, (as seems to often be the case in a supermarket), it either doesn't open, or takes ages, which can be quite annoying.
But overall, I like it!

Great idea but very clunky to use

I like the idea but it’s a bit of pain to actually buy gift vouchers, if you buy more than the amount you need you end up with lots of vouchers for little amounts and it’s hard to keep track of them, it’s not easy to see at a glance which cards have balances. Sometimes the connection is slow at a till and you’re waiting trying to buy a voucher, total pain. The one-click payment doesn’t work for me, it just crashes. Ideally you would just link your cards to Sprive and it would automatically give you cash back when you spend with those cards at eligible retailers. The gift card thing is awful UX, hope they can improve this as then I would give the app 5 stars.

Love this app

I have been using this app for years now. I go through phases where I forget to use it but for the last 6 months I have been using it consistently and I have paid off about £100 off my mortgage just by being organised and getting the vouchers. Uses it at Pizza Express last week for a family meal and gave myself £20 off my mortgage. Combine it with a cash back site aswell and the savings are brilliant.

Absolutely worth it

This app has saved us a little money on things we normally buy. Every little bit helps towards the mortgage, right? Easy to set up and has been secure thus far. You can research the tech behind it and it seems sound.
It’s easy to navigate and has a good range of retailers to save on. You get the best rates through the banking app payment option. You do need to either buy a voucher in advance or, if you want to be specific down to the penny, use the self-checkouts to give you a few moments to pop onto the app without holding staff up.

Easy way to save money on my mortgage

I’ve been using Sprive for about 3 months now, and love it. I’ve been buying gift cards for my weekly supermarket shop, and from a whole range of retailers, travel and leisure companies that give you cash back which you then pay off your mortgage. I’ve got several of my friends also using it. It’s dead easy; I’m spending the money anyway and then I get usually at least 2-4% of whatever I’ve spent back through Sprive and straight off my mortgage balance ( and sometimes a lot more!). If you have a mortgage, give it a go.

Great app

I’ve wanted to use Sprive for years but they didn’t have Bank of Ireland on there unfortunately. However, since remortgaging with Halifax last year, we’ve really been making the most of the app! It’s really easy to get a gift card, something we’ve been doing for Morrisons weekly ready to pay for our food shop. Now we’re getting into the swing of things, we’ll 100% be using it more for more varied shops. We tend to save up and pay our lender at the end of each month. Really glad we’ve started using it and can’t wait to see how much we chip off our mortgage interest, just by shopping normally!

A super easy way to save money on your mortgage

I downloaded Sprive on a whim not knowing if I’d use it and it took me a while before I made my first purchase using the app but now it is second nature for me to jump into the app to check the retailers.
The app is so easy to use, well designed, clear and informative.
Would highly recommend to everyone looking for a simple way to turn everyday purchases into a way to save money on your mortgage.

Brilliant way to save, must try it!

This app is so easy to use and once you get in the habit of checking app before you buy, it becomes second nature to open Sprive first to purchase a gift voucher for the store you’re about to buy from. All small amounts add up and it’s great knowing it’s gradually reducing your mortgage. I’ve already recommended it to family and friends and I’d encourage anyone to try it! The process of buying vouchers is quick, so you’re not stood at tills feeling silly.

Great money saving app!

I’ve been using this for a couple of years now and absolutely love how easy it is to save money and make over payments on my mortgage. There are now so many partners you can use this with I do most of my shopping through the app earning Cashback on what I’d normally be spending anyway. With one swipe payments it is so quick to generate a gift card even with shopping in store, so worth the extra few seconds to get that cashback! They’ve really improved this app over the last couple of years and it is now super quick and easy to use.

Great App

I do not leave a lot of reviews but for this app I’ve decided to make an exception.
I am not new to cashback websites or apps but it’s just the thought of being mortgage free faster that grabs your attention.
I try to use the app as much as possible. Now I know im not going to be knocking years off (I have a low interest rate and just over 10 years left on the mortgage). But worst case is even if I just knock a month or 2 off the mortgage, that is a lot of money to save, just buy using this app before making purchases.
It would be great if they added other ways of getting cashback/funds like maybe surveys or specific brand tasks. An achievement system which small automatic mortgage overpayments upon completion would be great.
Overall, I love this App! Just wish it was available when I had my first mortgage in 2010! 😂

Why has it taken so long for someone to come up with this!!

Been using Sprive for a few months now and have made about £160 worth of overpayments on the mortgage without even trying!
The app is so easy to use it doesn’t feel like a chore to make savings. It can sometimes take a while to buy the gift cards at the checkout so we have started to preload our frequently used shops which makes it so much easier and quicker. Overall really happy using the app and have recommended to lots of people who ask what we’re doing on the phone when paying for goods.

Easy savings

I’ve been using Sprive for a few months now, it’s been great (especially over Christmas) to use the brands and shops I was using already. Making some money an shaving time and interest off my mortgage has been a great incentive to use the app. Small incremental savings really help in the long run, and the app is super easy to use as well. If you need to do grocery shopping you should be using this app to save!

Love it!

I love using Sprive! At first, buying the vouchers felt like a bit of a faff but once I got used to it and started to see the results, it just became a part of my routine. Now making overpayments on my mortgage feels like a fun game because I don’t have to spend any extra money and I can still make overpayments. I’m on track to take a whole month off my mortgage in 2026 by collecting about £50 a month in cashback on weekly shops, takeaways, coffee shops, etc. love it!

Loving so far but please add some

Loving this app so far. Some of the gift cards are a little fiddly and balances don’t always show or update correctly on the app so always double check.
Had for 2 weeks and have already got £16 cashback. Haven’t done auto save yet.
Could a couple more shops be looked at for adding gift cards or please? In this financial climate a lot of people use Aldi and Lidl to shop but they are not available on the app. Also smyths that does do its own gift cards would seem like a good option to add especially as you already have entertainer as an option

A great way to chip away at your mortgage

I’ve been using Sprive since August and I’ve managed to pay an extra £200 towards my mortgage. You get cash back whenever you buy a gift card at lots of retailers. Although it requires some planning to figure out where you’re going to shop, i often create the gift cards when I’m at the self service checkout for the amount I need. Then I create cash back credited straight away. No app fees or subscriptions - free money for shopping. What’s not to like?
The only thing that has stopped me giving a 5 stars is the frequency at which the app crashes. I sometimes have to restart my phone if it gets stuck topping up funds or logging in. Other than that, the app is great!

Getting worse each month

Brilliant concept, I’ve been using Sprive for a longtime, but the app itself keeps getting worst. Please improve it. It keeps logging me out. It keeps getting stuck on the splash screen for ages. Latest glitch, logged me out, my credentials were no longer saved in Passwords or Keychain. I guessed my email. Eventually received a magic link. Opened this. The app erred a number of times. Killed the app and I’m now logged in with no data on main screens. After clicking around miraculously it came back to life, and I could see I have saved some money this month. Please get better devs & QAs, please.

Concept is excellent, application needs help

By and large the app is great. However, the UI in the voucher section needs help. Checking balances requires a lot of copy and paste and of course you have to use notes to do it or you can never complete the process.
And then there’s deleting vouchers. It’s so easy to accidentally delete vouchers by accident. When you actively choose to delete vouchers a voucher it brings up a box that asks you to confirm, yes or no as deleting is permanent. No problem but I’ve you click next it automatically highlights the next voucher down, without realising and assuming it hadn’t worked the first time I deleted a voucher with money in it. And as they say it’s permanent so there’s no way to retrieve the voucher. Surely as a fail safe it should be a one click then return box?? Making impeach voucher delete a positive process.
Grateful for any improvement feedback on this I can’t be alone

An Absolute Game-Changer for Mortgage Management!

Sprive has completely transformed the way I manage my mortgage. The app is incredibly user-friendly, and the interface makes it so easy to track my progress and see how much interest I’m saving over time. I love how it automatically calculates how much I can safely overpay each month without affecting my budget — it’s smart, efficient, and completely stress-free.
The insights and nudges are helpful and motivating, and I really feel like I’m finally in control of my financial future. On top of that, the customer support is excellent — quick responses and super helpful every time I’ve had a question.
If you’re serious about becoming mortgage-free faster, Sprive is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Best App I have ever!

I have been using Sprive for two years and it is by far my favourite app. Not only it makes it very easy for me to save and make extra payments on my mortgage, it also allows me to keep track of changes in interest rates. I am currently in the process of remortgaging and it has been thanks to Sprive that I have managed to update my rate every time it changes as I check it daily. I would never have this kind of information as readily available, if it wasn’t for Sprive. Thank you so much team, this is literally the most useful app around!

Idea is good but can’t save much from it

Despite the many interesting (you can read between the lines when I say that) short and spookily similar 5-star reviews saying how this app is a game-changer, that’s really not the case. It’s simply not possible to pay ££££ off your mortgage (as some reviews claim) like this. Why? At a few % cashback the amount you’d have to be spending at retailers to generate anything meaningful would be insane and you’d be better off just cutting back and spending less.
Even if we accept the premise that some cashback is better than nothing, it is still a bit of a faff to not just pay normally, am you really going to be creating QR codes/vouchers to potentially save 10p on my quick shop? Maybe you are but I’m not.
Then there’s the surveys. Most of the time you get halfway through and find you’ve been screened out or you get the message ‘looks like something is not quite right here’
The only reason I’d give it two stars not one is that the concept of it is ok, you get a free £5 to try it, and if you have a few mates that want to sign up the £25 for referrals is worth having. But the app needs to be simplified and more stable and bigger cash backs negotiated before it’s meaningful.

Not bad!

It’s got some way to go but the idea is sound and I’m using it as often as I can and it works! Which is the main thing.
It’s not complicated to use, and can help project how much you can save whilst actually making those savings. It’s a great app, a few ui/ux improves would be good but other wise solid. It also shows you live rates competed to yours and shows you other key metrics than can be helpful. If you can stand another app on your phone this one will at least help you on your way to being mortgage free!

Clunky concept which needs some polishing

I came across Sprive in an article and thought I’d give it a try. I already overpay my mortgage directly so wasn’t interested in that side.
My NatWest mortgage won’t link so I can’t see the live figures in the Sprive app.
The gift card purchase is a TOTAL faff!!
Its frustrating to have to buy a gift card in the queue or at the till and the new recurring one click payments are limited to five times a month. Only some of the shops show how much is left on the gift card so you have to click in, verify to see what balance if any is left.
The app shows error messages when I pay the money over to the mortgage saying my mortgage doesn’t exist.
The app logs out without warning and freezes on the Home Screen so you can’t buy a gift card until it resets and you go through entering your email, waiting for an email to use the app again.
There’s also no FAQs to explain how many days it will take for payments to be made.

Great customer service

I use the app rewards regularly for my food shopping and monthly auto saves. I had an issue today where I had brought a voucher for a rather significant sum before I realised it couldn’t be used where I thought it could. Customer service team were excellent in responding and cancelled the order and returned the amount to my bank account within a matter of hours. Hugely relieved and will continue to use regularly for other shops (albeit will check what vouchers I’m ordering a bit more carefully!).

Unreliable from the start

I was intrigued by this App and after some research felt reassured by the FCA affiliation.
I checked the figures and was confident I was making a good choice so decided to register.
The App projects the savings you can make based on your current mortgage arrangement and you select the mortgage provider you’re with then registration is needed.
I input my email address and was sent a confirmation email but no matter how many times I tried the link to Login would not work. Every tap just generated a new confirmation email which continued in a failed cycle.
After a simple registration process failing repeatedly it leaves me questioning the software and I could not allow my finances to be accessed by a system with potential weaknesses like this.

Switched mortgage now account not working

I loved the Sprive app until I recently moved house and switched my mortgage to a new deal but with the same lender. I had weeks of error messages and was into manually change my mortgage account details in the app. Despite contacting the Sprive help team several times (and being told to wait 6-8 weeks by them to see if it sorted itself out) deleting and reinstalling the app I ended up with no choice but having to delete my whole account with them. That was over 2 months ago - today I tried to download the app again and create a new account only to be met with another error message saying my account is still in the process of being deleted.
In these times of constantly having to switch mortgage deals, sadly the app has been more hassle than it’s worth.

Fabulous App

I’m always dubious and careful about my finances online so I researched a lot on this app. I’m so glad I did and have used it for a few months now. It’s ideal to have ticking in the background and chip away at your mortgage. You get the choice to either pay the amount Sprive have holding for you off your mortgage or take it back if needed for another expense. There’s always the argument on whether you should invest your money or overpay your mortgage. I do both with investing my priority and now Sprive working out what I can afford each month to overpay any remaining. Happy days 👍🏽👍🏽😊

Super app that helps me easily reduce mortgage!!

Great app that I now use regularly to help me chip away at my mortgage. Simple and easy to use with the app pretty much all of the legwork. Simply add mortgage details and link to you bank account - love to see how the app adjusts my overpayment based on my saving account balance and my guidelines but yet I still have full control if I wish to recall money or not send onto mortgage company.
Would definitely recommend and look forward to saving more money via this app.
