Not sure if it’s me but looks nothing like video reel or pics

If this is just me I apologise and will remove the review. App syncs well to put your calendar and reminders into one place of which you can add notes (albeit you can add notes to calendar entries anyways).

I cannot for the life of me see in any way shape or form that this app looks vaguely like the video reel or promo pics for it. That is exactly what I wanted but it is definitely not what I got.

Nice app!

I like the app but unfortunately after to write the notes in a meeting the app don’t have the option to share the Note.

For me is really necessary and for this reason i didn’t choose your subscription.

Let me know if you added the option to share the notes.

Made really bad update

I used to really like this app. However, they recently made an update which means every time I restart the app, all my defaults are reset. It used to remember them. Ive contacted them but heard nothing. It really makes it too frustrating to use, and I’ve cancelled my subscription.

I like this app a lot. It’s very helpful and easy to use. The only thing I would say that is bad/annoying is that you need to pay for premium and some things aren’t available otherwise. But you can still use it without premium and it is a great app.

NOT WORTH IT

The app erases random stuff on the calendar, and it is not practical as it lags A LOT of times, whenever I write something the app doesn’t read it and gets me frustrated. Definitely not worth the subscription.

Really oversold in photos

Tbh, it's just the notes app with an overlay and more difficult controls. Zooming and moving around is almost impossible to do easily which you literally have to do to be able to write on it....

Just what I needed

I had just downloaded another digital planner template to import into GoodNotes when I thought, what I really need is something that integrates with all my calendars that I can write on too. I went looking to see if I should bother looking to build my great new idea or whether there was something already on the market and there she was, pencil planner. I love it, it does everything I need and the things I want (stickers, more customisation, themes, reminder integration) are already detailed in the roadmap. Seems like they have a pretty frequent release schedule too 😍. Also to those reviewers upset it asks you to sign up to do the three day trial, there is an x in the top left of that window, you don’t need to give your details to have a look around and connect your calendars. Either way it took me 5 minutes of browsing to decide to pay for the month, and I’m pretty confident I’ll be upping that to the yearly subscription soon. You guys if you ever need any beta testers hit me up, I work in UX.

Not Really Free to Try

I’m giving this 1 star because the developers need to start reading the reviews on here, and realise that the way they have this setup on the install front feels like a massive hard sell.

When you install this you can’t just try it for 3 days. Instead you actually have to immediately signup for a subscription, on the promise that you can cancel it.

It feels horrible. I immediately uninstalled it without even trying it. Honestly. There was a very, very high chance I would have purchased the 1 year subscription if I had just tried it for a couple of days and liked it.

But, because you cant try it without the hard-sell of signing up for a subscription (without even trying it!); I immediately deleted the app.

Guys. Wake up. People should be just able to install it. No subscription prompts at all. After 2 days of use just have a pop up that says “Warning! You only have one more day in your Free Trial! Here are your options…”. People are 100 times more likely to agree to a subscription if they have used the product and can see the value for themselves.

The hard-sell way you have this setup, where they have to agree to a subscription before trying it is both a little immoral, and also crazy from a business perspective.

This app promises a three day free trial. I deleted the subscription and app on the first and they still took and kept my money. Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointed. Had to agree to pay before I could even open it. Very misleading. Please state you have to pay not show it as available to download. And yes. 3 days free but you will already have my payment details. Shame on you. Hate being tricked into paying for something. It’s a shame because your app looks really good.

Not designed for iPhones!

How in gods name are you supposed to read the text on the month view on a standard sized iPhone screen?! I don’t own an electron microscope so this app is no good. Poor design.

Not the best :(

I thought I would be a great idea to have a amazing planner which I would be able to organise, but when I downloaded this app it only let you go one week ahead and if u wanted to like 2 or 3 weeks in advance for something it would make u pay. I was really looking forward to this app because it had so many good views but for me it just wasn’t right. I wanted to make my own personal handwriting calendar and it told me nothing on how to work the app which left me a bit clueless, i would have liked it of they would teach you were things are so that you are fully aware of what to do. This app just wasn’t for me, which I am so gutted about because the reviews didn’t match up to the app for me.

Great app!

Very good app, the only option which lets me have both scribbling with my online calendars appearing too!

Only giving 4 stars as I still miss being able to have different kinds of planning pages for year finances, project planning, mindset work etc, hope you can add these, as they appear in all sorts of different planners, which lack on the decisive characteristic of having all other calendars synced.

Good for work

Good App for integrating my online calendar with my notes from my diary. Great that I can use my Apple Pencil, it makes becoming paperless easier. Would prefer if I could change the modules for each day, for example would like to be able to make the diary section wider and would like to be able to add small sections for info I might need that day instead of it being all ‘to do section’. A section for writing the extension numbers I need would be useful, these are usually on the back of the front cover of my paper diary. I have added them to the ‘ongoing to do’ section but it would be nice if I could personalise it a bit more or the titles of each section as I’m not a fan on the reflect section, but that’s just personal preference.

Don’t buy

I signed up for this based on a three day free trial - but the ‘cancel’ option is meaningless. The regulations say cancellation should be easy! I can’t cancel this so am about to be charged almost £20. And it’s annual! Good job my card expires before the 2021 fee.
