Awful and rubbish KYC. Can’t pass verification with passport/driver license. App won’t identify documents. Also KYC system are overloaded so there is no cool stuff like with Monzo or Revolut/Starling. In the end - poor kyc, poor support typical for USA banking when you need to call a few times before your problem will be solved (maybe). Btw I stuck at “sorry for the wait”. No, thanks. Revolut and Monzo a way better then this.

Chase is an excellent banking app. I switched from my previous bank to Chase, and the transition went smoothly. The app appears to work properly - I chose Chase because of the app's appearance, quick transfers, notifications when I receive money, and everything else Chase has to offer, such as the 1% cashback. Although there are currently no branches, I would like to use physical services such as the Post Office in the future because I am aware that some banks have partnered with them to deposit and withdraw cash as well as provide other financial services.
A dark mode option, more rewards, pay links, and other features would be fantastic additions to the app.

Refuse on principle to give custom to a business whose marketing demonstrates clear, totally unacceptable racial bias, with a complete absence of white men depicted in marketing photos, a virtually nonexistent representation of white people altogether, and an overwhelming, wholly disproportionate representation ethnic minorities.
The very fact that racial and ethnic representation is not proportionate highlights an objectionable racially biased agenda that I will not support.

This is a great app on my phone, but I do all of my finances on my iPad. Every other bank I use (Santander, Marcus, NatWest and Nationwide) have amazing iPad apps.
Also, why does every card transaction (except for Amazon) need to be authorised in the app… even repeat vendors? It’s a pain and I’ve gone back to using my NatWest debit card.

Looks good. A few things could be improved.
1. Sign up process using a friend’s referral link can lead to SSL errors which send you in an insane loop and prevent you signing up. Solution is to download the app directly then apply the referral code in the app once you’ve fully signed up.
2. The pop up screen in the app which said ‘Liking Chase ? - leave feedback’ gives you the options Good, Average and Needs improvement … but the button to submit or cancel is off the screen, you need to scroll down just to press the button - a bit scruffy, needs fixing.
3. Once you press the button and get to here (App Store) I spent a couple of minutes typing this review and then the Chase app popped back into focus requesting my Touch ID (idle process) and cancelled my review. I had to type this all over again.
Aside from that. Great deals and easy to use. Well done.

Using the app for the great savings rates and the 1% cash back which is a bonus on all spending.
Easy to use and details on phone is easier for using online.
Would love for there to be a graph which categories for spending but think that is something that will be coming looking at other reviews so can manage that.

Quick and efficient application process thanks to soft credit checking and exploitation of 21st century technology to confirm id etc. However lack of Open Banking integration or even export of data to csv or excel (only hard copy like pdf statements are available) make this a frustrating nostalgia trip that is hugely anachronistic for 2022, particularly in view of the expensive marketing campaign. Would be 5 stars if had reliable Open Banking, or 3-4 stars if it at least had useable electronic data export.

Only downside I see of the Chase app to date is you can only be registered on one device at a time. I am constantly switching between my phone and iPad and have to register/de-register each time I do this. Being able to sign in on more than one device at a time (like other banks) would be helpful.

What a brilliant way of doing business. Opened an account, applied for debit card, opened a savings account, paid money into my new Chase account, transferred money to the savings account and finally withdrew money.
