Free subscription
I subscribed and paid for a one-month plan to get a bag, but every time I log in, it still shows the free plan. I reported the issue 3 times l, but it’s been 3 days, and I haven’t received a response.

Пробовал много впн на айфон, которые бы дружили с автоматизацией и при этом имели гибкую настройку в приложении на ПК. Этот впн всем критериям подходит: работает отлично, запускается «командами» и стоит не прям дорого (даже можно пользоваться бесплатной версией, скорость норм, объема трафика хватит на месяц). В общем супер :)

Slow, Laggy, poor support and given Russian IP when selections London from UK
My connection is 400 Mbps, 8ms latency. With AdGuard VPN I’m luck to see 8 or 9 Mbps and latency rocket’s to 30+ ms. The privacy protection is good, but man so slow and laggy. What makes this worse is that websites think I’m in Russia even though I’ve selected London! Contacted support, no response on this.

...vpn's just get worse. the 'new' v2 cannot connect you to your own country reliably. websites think you are abroad when you're not. didn't happen til the update. what's the point... more money wasted on another shapeshifting software company. a good vpn is hard to find.

Should have option to allow certain app use VPN!!
There used to be a service on laptop where the app lets you select certain app to use VPN. That option is completely removed plus its not feasible on computers. It should be introduced on ipad and smart phones. This way users can use certain apps that they can use VPN. The company should also start making an app for Apple TV. Note - SafeShell VPN have already allowed users to use VPN on certain apps.

Dodgy server locations and terrible speeds
I used this because I’ve been using Adguard Pro for ages.
I connected to a UK server and tried to login to youtube. It flagged an unknown location and asked me to verify. As part of that I had to put in a phone number and youtube believed I was located in russcum based on the VPN IP address!! I disconnected and tried again to join a UK server, this time the locatiom said it was in Stockholm - so something dodgy is going on with this VPN.
Furthermore, I did a speed test of this VPN, another I usually use and without. This VPN tops at 20Mbps, the other VPN did 100Mbps and without a VPN does 190Mbps.
So it’s exceedingly slow AND the servers aren’t where they say they are.
It’s now been deleted - there’s a reason they don’t offer a free trial first because you won’t want to pay for this!

Unreliable and overpromising
Quality of the connection is REALLY patchy. It can be 200mb and 3mb with very similar latency and signal. I switch off their vpn and my internet speed is back to where it is supposed to be. This vpn cuts it by an unpredictable ratio.. it could be 2x it can be 5-7-20x. This is VERY disturbing for connectivity critical applications. This is my second time I am buying subscription after a reasonable break (I gave them some time). It has become better (it was aaaalot worse), but still I cannot rely on their stable and good bandwidth connection. The only reason I keep coming back to try this out is adblocker/tracker and vpn bundle. It is still faaar from smooth. I remain very disappointed..

Switched from ExpressVPN
I've been using ExpressVPN for two years. Their support has always been so-so, but more frustrating was the fact that they took nearly a year to ship a stable M1-compatible build of the app.
I've been a very satisfied AdGuard customer since 2018 when I bought a lifetime licence. I've barely seen an advert since then – I just keep AdGuard running in the background and forget about it.
That's how a VPN should be, too. I'm really excited that AdGuard are entering this market. If their ad blocking software is anything to go by, they really get it.
(And three bucks a month is a ridiculously great deal.)

Forced to write service without having a chance to use it
I amGiving this one star because I was forced to rate it as soon as I had downloaded it. I hadn’t even been given a chance to use the service I’ve just subscribed to. Please give people a chance to use it before you force them to rate it. If you don’t rate it then they assume there is a problem with the service and then you have to explain what the problem is when you haven’t even used it yet. SoHere I am giving you what you want but it’s not what you really want

Perfect Companion
Similar situation to Steve@Aberdeen, I’ve been using AdGuard Pro on all my devices for many years so I was very interested in a VPN service from the same company.
I had been using another VPN service on all my devices but it was a trade off between a VPN or complete system wide adblocking. Adblocking wins every time so I wasn’t getting my money’s worth with a VPN subscription.
Introduce AdGuard VPN and now I can continue to benefit from system level adblocking and have an encrypted internet connection... heaven!
The most recent update has solved a peculiar issue I had where if I was connected to the U.K. server it would block internet access. Any other country would work, weird.
Since the update I’ve had both my iPhone and iPad connected to the U.K. server without any connection issues.
Bring on the MacOS app!

Beware
As a longtime user and fan of Adguard Pro, I thought I’d give this a try before subscribing. Within a day I began suspecting that my phone was broken as I couldn’t send emails and internet access was slow and appeared frozen at times. Everything recovered after deleting the app. Possibly if I subscribed the app would be usable but my experience of it so far doesn’t inspire any confidence in it.
