Game is solid honestly, very addictive. Game used to be fairly okay for F2P or ones that don’t spend a lot. I get the season pass as personally it’s best thing for your money. Legendary units used to be rarely added now they are pumping them out like crazy and forcing you to effectively get event passes if you want them. Playing it casually you barely get the free legendary in the wheel. They have now added incarnated units charging ridiculous amounts of money. Legendary heroes cost a down payment on a house or a small car. The greed from these people is insane. They don’t care about their player feed back. Only more way’s to exploit you. Also don’t fall for the 50% off scams. It’s not a discount at all

A money sink with a lot of bugs
This game is designed to take as much money as it can, and then the units change so the money you spent was worthless and you have to do it again. Literally no response about bugs which I have reported twice and still nothing. Have now uninstalled as it wouldn’t work.

Game that create addiction
I had started playing this game and after half year I realised how hard is to obtain great cards to be b able to fight others or upgrade your current playing cards. If you don’t pay have no chance. Recently Christmas event bring up new items to upgrade your hero equipment each was 145£. I would rate this game under 1 star but that’s not possible.

Great game but almost every match you go into you’re always at a disadvantage. Super unfair matchmaking, you shouldn’t be matched with a level 10 when you are only level 1. it seems the only way you can succeed is by purchasing in-game items which ruins the game for people who don’t want to buy stuff.

Very slow and luck based
This game is very slow to level up your cards. Of course it can be sped up by paying money but even then you are forced to spend a lot. Matchmaking is awful. In my experience I am matched with players with better card than me most of the time. The RNG makes your win not satisfying as the opponent gets destroyed with bad luck. Unfortunate as this game and concept is good and enjoyable at times but the slow progression and obvious money making (as like all games yes but bit more obvious in this) puts you off after a short while.

Your money is nothing
I remember how incredibly happy I was when I got the card I wanted and could upgrade it and was even happy to buy battle pass to speed up this process, but now whether you buy this pass, or even more - you get practically nothing, before with a reasonable donation it was possible to improve 2-3 levels to your cards per season, and now you have to buy a pass, buy some offers and play non-stop to be able to +1 level per season. And what to say about people who can't buy a donation, it's no longer Pay to win, it's PAY AND THAT WILL BE TOO LITTLE. Do not nerf characters, nerf economy!

The game has completely turned into a money-grab. It’s impossible to progress without spending money. In the past, we could progress very slowly without spending, but now even when we spend money, progress is still slow. The developers are utterly greedy. Before, we could get 2 cards for £5; now we pay £10 and only get half a card. The developers are completely incompetent. The game is a blatant rip-off of Clash Royale, with tons of unnecessary and poorly implemented features.

Disappointing Development Direction
Over the last week since the latest ‘balancing’ patch was introduced, the game went from tolerable levels of P2W to intolerable.
With just one patch worth of changes, a clear strategical decision has been made in a desperate attempt to urge more users to make purchases, understandable to an extent, but the changes here are egregious. Only a few months ago it was possible to acquire enough resource to upgrade a legendary unit once per month with regular free-play.
However, the resources awarded per month have now been reduced to around 33% and the cost to upgrade has increased by varying amounts over different levels.
No surprise players are viewing this as the final straw and uninstalling… Would not recommend anyone download this game until future ‘rebalancing’

The orbs is the worst thing in the game..you now need so many orbs to level up which you used to be able to buy with bells etc.. It’s so hard to level up
I’m a fairly new and active player but I very often (almost all the time) encounter players who have high level legendary cards on the arena while I don’t even have a single level 9 legendary card yet. How’s that fair? It’s going to be even harder to acquire one now that event tokens are gone and you need a million magic orbs for everything. It’s a slow and frustrating process for someone who enjoys the game but doesn’t want to pour loads of cash into it

The game has became so unplayable as a new player that it’s disappointing. It’s not even pay to win, it has became pay to play by destroying the whole in-game economy and making it more and more difficult to improve without spending a hefty amount of money. A really great game but…
Firstly, the game is great. Looks good and has an excellent community.
However, you can’t play this game and progress without spending a LOT of money. And, after you spend a lot of money the game changes forcing you to spend even more money.
If you are happy to just plod along and not worry about progressing it is fantastic. But don’t be fooled, if you want to progress expect to spend a fortune.
It would be nice for developers to look at some of the feedback they receive and stop making changes that only benefits them rather than the payers

Event tokens
I have been loving this game for a while now and enjoyed doing events for tokens to be able to upgrade my units. I also don’t mind watching videos for extra tickets, but why have they now removed it entirely on free to play and now you have to pay for them?? I don’t understand and getting legendary cards is now 10x harder unless you pay again. This is going to make the game boring as you just have to play pvp all the time and events will become obselete

As someone who always buys the season pass and premium to get more rewards and a more pleasant ad-free experience, the last update taking away event coins has been upsetting. I cannot justify an extra 10-15 pounds a month just to get 100 event coins.. by that rate i will not obtain enough event units cards to upgrade it for a year. I have played this game for 2 years, in a top 100 clan with 3250 crit.

Taking us all for a ride
Another update, another failure. Now you are taking us all for a ride. Now we need countless magic orbs to upgrade our legendary units but fewer opportunities to acquire them. To upgrade a level 8 legendary card to level 9, we now need 3 orbs - before the update, none were required. To upgrade a level 14 legendary card to level 15, with this update we need 5 legendary units. Before the update we needed more so we tried to acquire them in the lab of experiments. Now they are redundant. What do I do with my extras now? What a waste of time and effort and experimental coins. You are taking us for a ride. Also before the update we could use bells or magic dust to acquire an orb, now we can’t. Again before the update we could acquire an orb in the lab of experiments, now we can’t. Where are the crystals this season? They have all disappeared. Usually we could acquire them as we progress. Now they are nowhere except the shop. You should compensate us for your lack of transparency and annoying the majority of players by consistently tampering and changing the rules. I feel I have wasted a couple of seasons. I should have saved all my experimental coins and crystals instead of spending them. I have no clue what you’ll do next update. I won’t hold my breath that it will be anything good. No consideration at all to your players. Shame on you.

It might be free but if you don’t pay you are just a pathetic parasite in the eyes of these devs, they keep making it harder to level your units or even to obtain new units. The luck aspect isn’t a negative it’s just part of the game but everything else is made to make your experience as a free player worse.

Latest update
The developers have managed to change this game from a 5 star game to a 1 star game in one update. If you are a F2P then please do not invest any time into this game. It starts well but as soon as you have been playing for a small amount of time you are going to want to build your deck around legendary units. The developers have completely revamped the levelling system so that it is now impossible to level legendary units pass a certain level without spending money. Before it was a slow process if you were F2P but it was at least achievable. This revamp is the second revamp the developers have made to the levelling process in a very short period of time. I have spoken to many other players who had started saving up their items in the previous update, investing a lot of time before this change came into effect which has basically rendered their efforts pointless. The phrase money grabbing springs to mind. I would happily update this review if more changes are made to the process but not before then. I repeat, if you do not want to sink hundreds of pounds into this game please do not bother to download it as you will hit the ceiling very quickly.

Inconsistent game management, a fun game and community exploited
Inconsistent game management, they abolish one system and then realise the new system is “too punishing for later levels” but to then replace it all with an even more pay to play centric system. Very little actual gameplay content is added/updated, co-op is a repetitive grind just for gold to upgrade irrelevant units. Events just seem an excuse to sell several “battle pass” like subscriptions constantly every week, with again little content added to entice and make it enjoyable. Purposely overpowering new units. Constant pop ups trying to get you to pay for things, counting on your mistakes by putting the “buy” button directly on top of the “play” button. Has the basis of a great game, love the concept and some of the characters - just rather poorly managed.

Update has destroyed progression
I’ll preface this by saying I’ve played this game basically from it’s beginning, and I have enjoyed it up till this point, but this update has slammed progress for upgrading units in the later stage of the game, the experiment coins have been made more difficult to obtain and that means shifting less useful units has gotten alot harder to do, especially since they now can’t be turned to crystals to upgrade other units, it has essentially locked players into a random chance of hoping to get the right cards to upgrade, I really hope the developers will either reverse or severely rework this system as it’s made me consider putting the game down, I spent money on this game previously as I genuinely enjoyed it, I don’t plan to spend more after the recent update, this seems like a blatant attempt to milk more money out of the user base

A Game Ruined by Greed and Poor Updates
I used to love Rush Royale. It was a fun, strategic, and engaging game that kept me coming back for more. However, since Update 26, the developers have completely ruined what was once an enjoyable experience.
Firstly, the cost to progress has skyrocketed. It feels like the game is now a blatant cash grab, pushing players to spend exorbitant amounts of money just to keep up. The previously balanced in-game economy has been thrown out the window, replaced with a system that heavily favors those willing to pay. This shift has made it nearly impossible for free-to-play users to enjoy or even compete in the game.
On top of that, the new PVP criteria have only worsened the situation. Matches are now frustratingly unbalanced, with the new system pitting players against opponents with vastly different power levels. This makes for a frustrating and demoralizing experience, as it’s no longer about skill or strategy but about who can spend more money on upgrades and powerful units.
Overall, Update 26 has turned Rush Royale from a delightful game into a tedious, pay-to-win ordeal. Unless the developers address these issues and return to a more player-friendly model, I can't see myself or many others sticking around. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for your gaming fix.

fun but cash grabby
❌ all ads are voluntary but you’re constantly prompted to watch them and it’s hard to get resources many without doing so, so you just end up spending half your in-game time watching ads. playing from certain places it becomes super laggy even on good wi-fi. it also constantly gives you reminders about new “deals” in the shop, but only the real-money ones of course. pvp matching is terrible; way too often you’re paired with ppl that have like 3x your power, so there’s not much you can do but ride out the L or surrender. these issues ultimately led me to delete the game.
✅ shame because it’s a fun game otherwise. good casual game if u like deck builders, tower defence, or general strategy. especially good if you get into a nice, lively guild. events are spaced out well and add a fresh challenge to the game when the classic pvp grind gets boring. and jake paul is in it, for whatever reason. that’s kinda funny.
💭 suggestion for a QoL addition: i should be able to tap on a unit in my deck to see what it does while in a match. especially for events where you play with random cards you might not be used to. surely you don’t expect me to sit and read through each card’s description before i enter a game. it seems so simple and obvious, i can’t help but think it’s not included on purpose.

Great Game
This is a really great and fantastic game .. personally i play this game over 2 year now and this game has always surprised me .. sometimes had a bad update when messed up most of the things and sometimes had a really good update.. when summoner get the talent was actually surprising and now we can able to multiple the unit .. HQ get talented.. fantastic! One of the best support unit with a new bonuses can make incredible strength in PvP .. I can’t say really bad as the pst 4-5 months update are actually pretty good and the growth of the units talent are fantastic! The only problem u can experience in the game when u doing pvp the matchmaker doesn’t really work well and quite often throws a way higher crit opponent or a way lower crit opponent since the previous update.. DH is still weak as hell can be stronger but personally i ain't use her often just barely.. why 5 star rating ? Simple … I enjoy much more than any other game !!

Best mobile game I’ve ever played
I love where this game is going and what to come, I know some people are saying it’s pay to win but honestly as a f2p player I don’t notice anything. All in all a very good game, However I have some suggestions 😁. I would love to see a permanent game mode like the rhandum league because it does get a bit boring when there is only pvp and co-op! Another suggestion is making legendary hero’s more playable for lower crit players, i know legendary hero’s make a lot of money and I understand that but I would love to play a game mode where everything is max level, this would also encourage more players to buy zeus.
Once again thanks to all the dev team you are doing a great job with the visuals and balance, I don’t think I have played a game where there isn’t a set meta, right now lots of cards are good and balanced. I also want to point out that there was a major update 3 weeks ago which brought great things to the game, the fact there is going to be another major update in a week is insane. I’m so happy you put so much work into this game

It’s pay to win, with the worst matchmaking
Don’t waste your time and money!
This game, like so many others theses days, is Greed at its very worst. Go play Kingdom Rush instead 🤣 and it doesn’t even play like the screenshots suggest!
It has a great base of a game; a lot of work has gone into it, but it’s all clearly been designed, from the ground up to extort your money.
As soon as you get to a certain level you’re put up against players 3 or 4 times your level, that you have 0 chance of beating. It’s designed to frustrate you and pay money to level the playing field.
I’ve put about £40 into this game (I’ll always support developers of a free-to-play game) and it’s got me nowhere. When I levelled up, it just puts me against even more overpowered opponents.
The very best items, for upgrading, are behind pay walls. Basically, if you never spend a penny, you’ll never get elite units or items. And you can’t progress unless you win trophies… but you can’t win trophies because you need to pay to be at a decent level.
I’ve put so many hours into this game; every day for months, and it’s so disheartening to know that unless I pay money, I’ll never get to progress.
Avoid this game!!!

Pretty Addicting
I cant really think of anything bad about it, i can play it while watching a movie and not have to fully concentrate (which as of writing this i am doing) but there are also intense moments where you do have to concentrate.
You can kinda leave the game to go semi AFK, i say semi AFK as theres parts where you still kinda have to merge and upgrade your units.
When i first played you were kinda just thrown in to learn how to make your own build but as of the most recent update it is way more beginner friendly with the game showing you some ok builds to start off with,it shows you on the info part of a specific unit, the likelyhood of not having a unit is high but you get something to work towards.

Money hungry cheats
Devs don’t care about the stability of the game, just micro-transactions! Don’t get sucked in, it’s a bad copy of Random Dice! Update: so, as per UK law & European law, the devs have a duty of care to deliver a product that people pay for…. So, after over 3 years of playing this game, with the constant stability issues, purchasing the battle pass each season, I have invoked my rights for a refund as the devs refuse to compensate. I provided Apple with the evidence, and received a refund of monies spent over the last 3 months Then my account got banned for fraud. DON’T PLAY THIS GAME NOR SPEND MONEY ON THE GAME - the devs only care about whales, not loyal players that have been playing since the beginning!! They are liars, cheats, and only care about the money coming in, and no thought in compassion nor delivering a quality product! DON’T SPEND ANY MONEY ON THIS GAME!!

Pay to win. Disingenuous developers
Devs have designed the game so that pop ups appear over the top of the game interface, on top of common buttons that you’re wanting to interact with. These pop ups, when inevitably tapped, will take you to extortionately priced random packed (I’m talking £60 purchases). On accidental purchase, they will refuse to refund your purchase, even if you have not used or touched the items you received as a result.
You can claim your money back through apple, but when they realise this they will put you into debt in the game in a DIFFERENT resource to the ones you received from the purchase, meaning they’ll block you from playing until this has been paid, which is unusual and dishonest. My purchase gave me coins - take the coins. Don’t remove the crystals. The game itself was good and the product was good - I did enjoy it. But the kinds of people who use dishonest and underhand tactics to trick you into purchases, and who then deny refunds and then punish you in unusual ways are not people I wish to give any more time to. There are plenty of games out there operated by honest devs with good support services to give time to people like this

Lazy development
This game could have been brilliant if not for the ridiculous match up system, caused by lazy development. The devs of this game have seen fit to only use trophy score as a method of matching up opponents. This means you can (and very often do) get matched up with someone who has a way higher crit score and a deck that is so vastly overpowered it’s an absolute joke. This means you will lose a lot of games purely through it being an absolute unfair match up. There is no skill or strategy when the ‘match up’ is completely one sided and unfair. I honestly cannot understand how or why the devs have gotten away with this completely lazy and pointless method for matchups. It’s a complete joke and unless you want to plough a load of money into the game to accelerate your deck you can be certain of spending months falling victim to unfair matches because they cannot be bothered to put effort into their algorithm/matches.

It’s becoming toxic
This game was fun when I first started, you could get fair match ups, your chance to beat someone was genuinely 50/50. But now I’m being matched with people who are way too overpowered for me to have any chance of winning, I’m at 1400% crit damage and 9/10 of my matches I’m match against people at 2000%, they have completely maxed heroes and characters, and there is just no chance, also that robot with the rockets that stun you every time it’s merged is way too overpowered, it needs to be something like meteorite, where if there is a glowing orb next to it, then it will stun. The game just isn’t fun anymore due to unfair match ups, there’s no way for me to level up either without winning, and I can’t do that unless matchups are made more fair. I’ve even put money into the game for absolutely nothing, if anything it’s getting harder. Please sort this out or I’ll have no choice but to delete the app, which wouldn’t come easy for me as I’ve spent over £100 in the last month or 2 just to give me more of a chance.

Awful
I’m sorry to write this review and only giving it a one star. I understand it’s a pay to play game if you want to get anywhere in it but that’s not my problem as I’ve spent a lot in it already but I will no longer spend any money. Your game is a rip off, with all the money you make you can’t even keep your servers running smoothly, your become just like Activision, absolute money whores. You don’t care about the game like you used too, only the money you can get. Well I’ve now after 2 years and £5000 uninstalled your game. You allow lag switchers to play the game which stop us from spawning cards. ( It’s not my internet as I’m running over a gig internet speed ) your just terrible designers who only care about money and nothing more. Good luck with your game, I’ll keep my money from now on.

Pretty fun but kinda scummy
This game is pretty fun kind of addictive even I’ve been playing it T night while I wait for my sister to go up its a good game if you want to just do something which doesn’t need much attention the only problems really was the quests thing where you had to do a survey or something to get some gems something that would be good would be if they change it so the quests are something like destroy a certain amount of invaders or play a certain amount of matches as that would be pretty nice also maybe they could also change the adds since it’s very different to the actual game anyways that’s all really but personally the game is pretty good so I suggest getting it

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE DEVS DONT CARE
This game could be amazing and tbh it is but the devs do not give a single crap about the players or the way the game plays we are constantly being disconnected from the game because of issues with the server - everything will be fine and then all of a sudden it brings up a disconnection message on your screen and marks it down as a technical loss because apparently there’s no connection to the server and it’s happening to EVERYBODY it’s not just me so if you don't believe me then feel free to download the game and spend £1000s on the game just to be disconnected constantly and no matter how many times you make a report about it or submit a ticket absolutely nothing gets done to fix the issues we can’t even play the tournament properly because all the games are being disconnected so for now please don’t download this game I will update my review once they fix the issues to let everybody know it’s safe to download but please please please STAY AWAY FOR NOW

Love it but...
...I wish there were few additions:
- I love the music but wish there were more different ones added to different battles or for us to choose from
- curse in CooP mode: many new players don't understand that if they merge they will transfer it to an ally, I suggest a small change please: if you merge on a curse you will add additional curse field to your own board (coz I have no way to tell the other player that they should be careful, saying "stop" or showing an icon has not much effect)
- that is why in CooP mode sometimes I wish I could say more to my allay, like: give me the curse, be carful, I like the sword tile please, sorry, I didn't mean that, it is the warrior not me...
- I also wish to be able to sort the warriors with a sort button on my card section of the game, that would be amazing
- more events or mini battles please
- absolutely looove the hero tryouts, maybe we could have more of those please (maybe a lucky wheel to get one for a battle)
- more bosses with different skills would be great
- I would love more videos in the info section instead of long text (English is not my first language)

Game issues and rude and childish behaviour from developers side
The game is absolutely not stable. Keeps disconnection over and over. I play it for probably 6 months now and it was always disconnecting like that. Today I disconnected during tournament game and couldn’t log in for 15 minutes despite the fact I tried WiFi and data and restarted app multiple times. Lost my sandal and clan points which is quite sad as the clan tournament is basically the only thing to look forward in this game.
Went on theirs FB page and commented under theirs post about it with screenshot provided.
Theirs answer was copy past message (exactly the same like under every other connection issue comment, yes there was plenty) saying “we are aware of the issue and are working on it” so I commented “aware maybe but “are working part is questionable” “ and *drums* got banned from the page 😅
How childish as for the owners of a game where rewards cost like £25 for ONE card!
Am I now getting banned in game as well? Go for it I am not gonna cry, game is much unplayable anyway as I keep disconnecting over and over 🤭
Conclusion? Don’t bother unless you are looking for a game which you can’t even really play and enjoy.

Decent game
It’s a really well thought out game which is engaging and offers a lot to players - especially those who don’t want to spend money on the game. However, I do find that when given spending options for premium passes etc. that they are all very pricy. The ads sometimes bug or glitch and you have to close the game without getting a reward for viewing.
As some others have said, it is luck based but that in itself isn’t an inherently bad thing. There is a degree of skill to it too and the various deck set ups really offer a great amount of personalisation to the game. Overall, it’s a really good game hence the 4/5, but improvements can be made and I’m confident they will be in the future to make the game even more fun and engaging!

Fun game but very hard to advance without spending money
I do like the game, but the matching is very frustrating and unfair. IN PVP you will be often matched with players that have double or triple your crit % and maxed level cards! These players obviously avoid playing PVP for awhile so that they are then matched with weaker players to get easy wins. This is unfair and takes away the fun of the game as it is impossible to beat them. The more you lose the lower your winning %, and of course the harder it is to progress. When I was only 800% crit I was being matching with player with over 2k %!! The Co-op matches are also so annoying. 9 out of 10 matches you are matched with players that are way too weak. For example, floor 8 you need 1300% crit yet im often playing with players that are below 500% crit. Another thing is in co-op is that many players just disconnect leaving you playing by yourself! Legendary cards are hard to get too, you will need to spend a lot of money! The clan tournaments need to be changed too. If I use all my sandals, why does a player that only uses 1 sandal get the same rewards as me at the end of the tournament? Why should I work hard to help my clan when someone who doesn’t is rewarded just the same? Lots of things that need to be changed in this game.

It’s a very good game a good concept and overall its a 5 but not after the experience I’ve had. There was a thing where you could do something to get free crystals and i picked a survey and the first survey it didn’t even give my the crystals but the questions it asked! Like do you have kids? What’s your job? How many people work at your place of work? Are you pregnant? And talk about the 21st century even tho I identify as a female, it asked do you identify as a female or male that’s it not even non-binary or prefer not to say like talk about the 21st century. I just felt like it wasn’t a fun survey like whats your favourite movie or song survey it was very personal. Like if you had kids and they did this and said that they were 18+. They wouldn’t even let you choose to not have cookies on what could tract you location and they could know if you were sick, pregnant or just vulnerable. Even tho this isn’t the games really responsibility well it is in a way, the website was from a link from the game and that shouldn’t even be allowed 5 year olds could be doing this survey and Mabel basing the information their giving on themselves or a family member. This game is a 4+ and their asking personal questions. That just seems sketchy and younger kids won’t know what their doing too. But good game 👍

Fun, addictive, but way too luck based
PVP games are too massively dependent on RNG. Combining/levelling your cards, pure RNG. Even dropping said cards at Level 1 the RNG has a massive impact. The bosses at the end of each wave can and do cripple a game on the spot if you or your opponent get screwed by the RNG.
This review isn’t coming off the receiving end of some bad RNG luck, it’s coming off a win. As is often the case in these games, when you’re spoon fed a victory that’s when you can’t miss how big of a flaw this is in these types of games. Around 1 minute in I had 17 Demon Hunters stacked, and my opponent with a very similar deck also hit 13. 13 by itself would virtually kill most games but the pair of us were “blessed by the RNG gods”. But wave 1 boss was Tribunal, which destroyed my opponent and hit me quite hard. Most games the hit I received would have been huge, but nope, I lucked out even more than my opponent once again.
This entire match revolved solely around the RNG and this is the case in a huge % of matches. This gets boring over time. This is a shame as if the game could be tweaked to remove the luck element it would be an amazing game. I personally would enjoy a match lasting 5, 6, 7 rounds if my win/loss ultimately was mostly down to choices me and my opponent made. But that’s not how matches tend to end, they almost always end solely because of the RNG even if it’s a cumulative effect rather than a more instantaneous one

Fun to play, matchmaking dubious
Generally a fun and easy to play game and definitely worth downloading if you’re considering it; loads of content and you don’t have ads shoved down your throat at all, only watch them if you want to :o
The only downside I have is that the matchmaking for clan tournaments seems to be a bit iffy and almost every single match I play in that my opponent has near enough 1000% more crit damage than me, making those games pretty much pointless for me. Wouldn’t mind so much if it’s the odd one here of there but it gets a bit irritating when it happens in every one of my daily battles :(
Still a good game though and I enjoy all the other events and game types ^^

Unhelpful support
My game keeps crashing even though my internet and device are top notch so I don’t receive any loot. I made enquiries to the help team to compensate for lost out loot as I spent time to gain these loots but they reply “we don’t provide compensation in such cases”. Recently I was playing the co op mode as I needed gold to purchase a legendary unit, after an hour of playing at the last level, the game disconnected and didn’t give me my loot even though we were about to win. I wrote to the support team again and shared all the details - date, time, mode played - yet they sent the same message back to me “we don’t provide compensation in such cases”. This is ridiculous as I’ve had the game for nearly 2 years and only recently since an earlier update the game would randomly crash and disconnect leaving you with no loot even if you win and the opponent loses, yet the support team don’t help at all. I’ve now deleted this app and will NOT BE PLAYING OR RECOMMENDING THIS GAME TO ANYBODY!!

Good but….
I feel like more tactics should be available, relying on luck can be fun but more control over what units you can have in play would make for a more enjoyable experience I think, sometimes you can be destroyed because you get a load of useless buff units that would be crucial when used in conjunction, even random unit placement is a little frustrating since a lot of units need to be adjacent to get the benefit….even if you had a tactical mode where you can choose what units are summoned and where and keep the random mode as well….something to think about maybe?

Love the game however ruined by 1 card
I have been playing this for AGES and I love it, I love how you aren’t forced to watch adverts and you can chose to watch them to progress a little faster.
It would be 5 stars however and that is a big HOWEVER; when playing against players with the card shaman, especially partnered with harlequin or mime it is impossible to play against them, I would normally disconnect from the game instantly when I see shaman in the pack but it’s very frustrating when you are trying to get points in the events and you are against these players and it is an unfair fight!
Remove shaman from the game completely and it will be a 5 stars from me and I am sure it would be for other players too!

Good Fun But Not Particularly Inclusive
I only started playing this game a couple of weeks ago. It took a little while to understand the levelling-up system utilised here and the principal of how to build an efficient team (with good stats) as some combinations aren’t as good as others.
Unsurprisingly, this game operates around a ‘pay-to-win’ construct, so unless you’re willing to put in actual money, levelling-up and beating some of the higher grade levels of the game is going to be near-impossible or slow and repetitive. It does get rather boring having to repeat the same level to upgrade unless you’re able to afford £15 here or there.
The best qualities of the game, however, are:
• The social aspect is great. Playing co-op with other players real-time, forming clans, being able to communicate with animated emojis, etc. is quite enjoyable and lends a bonding experience to the game.
• The colours and designs of characters are fun and quirky. No two characters are the same, so there is a certain quality of uniqueness to your deck(s) when constructing them.
• It runs very smoothly with no obvious glitching or bugs.
There are certainly rooms for improvement. Developers should consider making it a little easier for us casual players to level up without the financial sacrifice(s), as currently it’s far too slow and makes it boring. A wider range of bosses could also reduce the repetitiveness.

Greed Destroys Genius
This game is one of the most enjoyable I have played that is designed for phone and tablet use. The concept simple enough, yet the design team make a breakthrough from the std merge games that flood the market. The genius is found in the designers and support team. Its a 5 star game that is highly addictive and far from one dimensional. The updates frequent. The build up of decks take time. When you arrive at the levels you are met by equal or better players. Skill is a major factor to success not the level of the units in most cases, as player matching on PvP takes into account the decks ability. We get to greed and step away from an excellent design team to the company owners. We see a time where the moral fibre of individuals is dismissed under the use of organisational names. The pricing is not a little too much it falls into the act highlighted in the seven deadly sins, that of greed. To collect the spoils of that greed will see no hiding from god

FULL of AFK players!
Game is really enjoyable however almost every co-op game I play with another player who chooses to afk half way or right at the end! It’s annoying because you can’t report them and have a ban on playing for a few hours. There is literally no consequences for afk which I odd, because I play a lot of other similar games and you have the option too.
Definitely a pay to win game, not had any luck on free chests for good heroes. With gold quite hard to farm to 40k, so when a good hero does pop up you find you never have the funds to buy, as your constantly upgrading your rubbish heroes to play low level games as you can’t progress.
With all that said, it’s a really enjoyable game with little shi*s that love to ruin the experience. Good job no option to chat with the players!

Hard earned chest are stuck behind ads
The games very fun and hold potential to keep you entertained for hours, however if you want to progress be prepared to watch a lot of adverts, each chest you earn through winning is locked behind an adwall and that’s no exaggeration , all this does is complicate the game and keep you from progressing which becomes a real pain later on, this will the prevent you from being able to get stronger characters as the ads block you from getting your hard earned chest which then make your win feel pointless. The next problem is the RNG factor, when your in game and you level up your character by merging it randomises who they will turn into, it makes the game intriguing but very frustrating as you could go from having a good character to a bad one in seconds

Hugely addictive gameplay but some serious performance and availability issues
The gameplay is great, simple concept you need a good strategy but there’s just enough randomness to keep it exciting.
Unfortunately the game suffers some serious performance issues. It’s a massive battery hog (not sure how much this is down to the adverts - but unfortunately it’s hard to avoid the adverts and still progress). Can drain the battery on iPad Pro in an hour - no other game/app is this bad (even big games like Civilisation or music production software that surely tax the processor more)
There’s also no offline/single player version. This wouldn’t be a problem if the servers weren’t afflicted with the same performance woes as the client app. Frequent outages or poor latency mean that the game is often literally unplayable. Not ideal for a game that pushes so many in app payments. And a particular gripe: if you switch to another app during a game you’ll disconnect from the match. Just as well is isn’t draining the battery while in the background, but it’s very easy to gesture on a tablet to start switching apps (or swipe down to check wifi/cellular signal strength. Too many disconnects and you’ll lose the current match.

Confused player right now
Hi, just wanted to say this game is really really good, very good time burner, the adds are optional and reward you for watching which you can’t say for a lot of other games!!
I’m really enjoying it as a whole but I’ve come across one issue so far, when I tried loading up the game this morning I’ve been hit with a red wifi symbol, it’s saying “the server did not respond in time. Please check your connection with your service provider”
The internet on my phone is working just fine, I’ve turned my phone off and back on multiple times, I’ve also deleted and reinstalled the app twice but nothings seeming to work. Any help would be really appreciated!

The pros and cons of Rush Royale
Essentially this is a very good game, there’s no denying that. The tower defence concept is excellent and the visuals and gameplay are very good. There are a lot of reviews calling out white elephant in the room which is the costs involved to play RR and be halfway competitive are increasing exponentially. There are endless adverts which require to be watched, there’s even a ‘watch 10 advert’ reward which refreshes as soon as it’s been complete. However there is literally no way to grind in this game to obtain the best cards…those are reserved unashamedly for those with deep wallets. It’s such a shame that the game developers focussed so much energy on trying to prise money from players, rather than improve on what was a fantastic game. If you are even slightly competitive, then this game is not for you…unless you have exceptionally deep pockets. Honestly, if you want the good cards, you will require to pay hundreds of pounds for the chance, that’s right, just a chance of getting the very powerful and best cards. A complete money pit…steer clear.

Excellent game, p2w elements
The game is really good, I thoroughly enjoy playing it everyday. Unfortunately it has a strong p2w element to it, where you need to spend money to be strong mid-end game. I am more than happy to watch adds to get minor power ups however a lottery based system where there is no guarantee of what legendary card you will get is a massive no from me.
This aside, you will still be able to get to end game, but it may take years to get everything, which makes the daily play a massive grind.
With the recent update, it is impossible to play co-op since other players immediately leave the game once they see the sorry state of your cards. It could benefit from a penalty system as a deterrent.

You’ve killed this game with the new co-op update. I’ve stopped buying the game pass, it’s not worth it. Adverts aren’t worth the rewards anymore. Limited co-op means limited levelling up, meaning you’re more likely to spend money on this game. Which I used to, but not anymore. It’s a shame, it’s been my favourite game for a long time. I couldn’t put it down. I told everyone around me to get it who have know said they same as me, it’s rubbish. I think this is the third review I’ve left about it now. All the other recent reviews are the same. Yet you’ve kept a five star review from a year ago as the main one. All of your bad reviews are behind a different option. For the love of god, give us the old version back. I want to give up, but I want to stick it out in case you listen to what your dedicated players want. But I’m losing the will to live here. BRING BACK OLD CO-OP!

Great game but should add innovative features
Over all this is a great game that I’ve played everyday for months now but I feel like it’s very much pay to win. I’ve not spent a penny so far and always lose when I get to a certain stage which is annoying as I don’t have many legendary cards but it is what it is. I just wanted to put out there that a Chat feature in game would be very great and innovative for this game. Especially for coop battles. Many times when playing co-op the other player makes decisions and does things which result in us losing so being able to communicate during battle would help give everyone the best chance to survive.

Pay to win
Changing the events to what are basically mini season passes that are not completable without paying a lot of money was a huge mistake. Pvp just getting wrecked by robot that can only be achieved by one of the said events or paying for it outright which if I remember correctly is £90? Necromancer looks like a lot of fun, a shame I will never get to use it bc once again you have to pay a silly amount, same with Zeus. Even purple heroes, gadget etc are so hard to earn without paying stupid amounts of money. Up the chances of legendary units in the shop and give a chance of receiving blue/purp hero shards in there too. You guys are becoming so greedy it’s a joke. Even the talents for the ftp units, pretty sure the only way to receive any cores are through payment schemes. Season pass etc

WAS A 5* TILL GREED TOOK OVER
Before Hero Tavern I would of given this game 5* but since that update & the last it’s been going down. My reason is because the events they released can’t be completed unless you pay a lot. Another update has come out since which seems cool but again unless you pay there is always going to be a better player that is paying. The problem here I find is that it’s now becoming a pay to win game & with every update they are expecting you to pay more & more so yeah good game but to get anywhere you WILL have to pay, shame though cos I’d love to be able to complete the events but unfortunately I work a lot & can’t afford to spend too much on a game but again it be better if they just lowered the total scores needed & actually gave those that are giving activity a chance because if your one of those that play all day long constantly everyday, then I’m sorry but your still not going to complete any event but 1 which is the season pass which has been out since the beginning when I joined about 2 months ago.

Developers Got Lazy
Too many hackers in PvP now. Game is no longer enjoyable, lost over 1000 trophy’s because players keep abusing the game and forcing disconnects over the 6 time limit to ensure you can’t place card and lose the game - been reported by multiple people for the last 6 months. No report function, no in game messaging through friends list. (Disconnects need to be reduced to 3 & boy detection for those who forcibly disconnect more). Premium costs too much & doesn’t offer nearly enough rewards. Trophy losses above 5000 need to be lower. No boxes to ensure duplicate legendary aren’t received unless all collected. Game seems to have way more hugs / glitches over the last few updates. Needs to be additional promo codes released for premium holders. Low connection issues need to be resolved to stop ruining other players experiences (if a player disconnects you should receive additional mana to continue the game, or allow another player to join the board with the standard amount of mana up to the level in which the other player has disconnected. 2v2 PvP should be implemented. Option to name decks. More quests & better chests for premium holders.

Great but frustrating game
There is a pay to win element to this game but if you put some time into the game it isn’t as hurtful as some other games.
It can be a grind to get the cards/units but you can tell your progress by how high you get in pvp and how far you go in co-op mode. In a few weeks I’ve managed to get to 5350 in pvp and usually around 55-60 in co-op. The first week I was struggling to get past 25-30 in co-op. Just hang in there and grind coins and adverts for cards.
My big issue is with co-op. It’s my favourite mode and the most frustrating. I spend so much time wasted on people who either disconnect instantly which means the match is pretty much done and playing it is a waste of time. Or people who intentionally don’t disconnect and don’t play or place units in the hope you will grind coins for them. The 20% of the time you get a proper player, it’s really enjoyable but there is no punishment to those other time wasting players.

Random Dice copy and dependent of one card
Apart from the fact that the game is a complete copy of Random Dice, which is better, I have had fun with the game, but in all honesty can not give it more that 1 star.
Once you reach 4000 trophies your game progress is fully dependent on whether you have been luck enough (or paid $40) to get the Harlequin card. This legendary card will allow you to snowball through any other deck that does not have a Harlequin, irrespectively of its composition. The same way, you will always lose agains a deck with Harlequin unless RNG is favorable to you. The continuous refusal from the Developers to balance or eliminate this card makes the game incredible polarized: you either have it and you can progress, or you don’t and grinding trophies will be a time consuming and painful experience.
Apart from the aesthetics, Random Dice has much more variety and balance than this game.

Great game super addictive but some huge flaws
I have to say this game really grips you if you’ve got the time to play. It’s a simple enough pvp/pve mode which keeps you gripped in and always wanting more. There are micro transactions but that’s to be expected with a free to play game but that’s not really needed to still have fun. You can still push high up on to get decent rewards as long as you start to understand the fundamentals of how the game works.
The best thing about the game is that the only constraints is if you don’t have the time. You’re not capped an an energy bar, or you have to wait for lives or anything like that. There are adverts but again you do not need to watch them to keep on playing. I think this is the only mobile game to have really nailed it with the balance of micro transactions, advert and just keeping the game fun.
The only reason why I give the game 4/5 stars is when in pvp mode and your opponent disconnects from the game you can still lose the game. When the other player logs back into the game they will lose trophies as well. It just doesn’t make sense that if you are still playing your opponent disconnects that should draw the match to a close and you take the win. Same for coop if your partner disconnects draw the game to a close and move on.
Really hope the devs listen to this one point because it’s crazy to think it still hasn’t been addressed

Please nerf Shaman!
As other reviews state, PvP is absolutely ruined by the card called Shaman. Its power needs to be altered so it only activates once per round otherwise you have lost straight away. Most people I know surrender the moment they see the other person with Shaman, it’s just not fun.
Update - it’s fairly clear the devs are a bit lost on how to make the game work. Too many game breaking mechanisms are around, for example about 30% of the time you will find your deck at the start is bricked and you lose. You also constantly hit issues where you can’t merge anything. That’s probably 25% of the time. All they care about is money and releasing new units. The game also spams you constantly with pop ups for buying things, every single time you go to a menu.
I’ve deleted the game, I’m hoping a proper developer buys this, takes it offline for 2 months and brings out the game that this should be. Right now it’s a steaming pile of junk

Good Game but...
So I’ve been playing this game for a while now, I’ve reached a high rank and it was pretty easy getting there. However, after rank level 4000, it’s pay to win! All of the other players seem to have high end cards, high levels so it’s impossible to beat them. Also, what I’ve currently seen is that if you win a few games in a row, your damage is decreased or the enemies health is risen compared to the other opponent. We had the same cards, as level, same numbers on the board but I was getting beaten, why?
This game is all about luck as well, if you don’t get lucky on round 1 with your cards, then you are screwed.
Overall, a good game until you get about 4000 rank and you might as well give up. 3/5 is actually pretty high in what I should be giving this game.

Great game but...
...two things become a real frustration leading to me stopping play. Firstly, I generally don’t like pay-to-play games but this one did get me hooked (I’m 47 so this became a guilty pleasure). And ended up paying £50 in total which is a lot! However, I was shocked once I paid for Premium access it only lasts a season (1 month!), this is daylight robbery when you compare the money to any other App. And it keeps advertising decks for another £56 - crazy money for a game. The second part is the card “Shaman” which is more annoying than enjoyable when an opponent uses this to randomly destroy your deck - really destroys the game dynamic. And recently Hero’s have been introduced which adds unnecessary complexity. Game had potential but developers are too greedy, trying to find mechanisms to get more money have stopped me playing.

Good but repetitive
I’ve been playing this game now for a month or so, and it’s great. The graphics are crisp and detailed.
There are some things to consider:
Around 15-20 wins in pvp, it becomes pay to win. Unless you have specific legendary towers, you are gonna get owner 9 out of 10 times.
The upgrades from stacking don’t feel worth it. Attack speed buff is fine, but having 4 level 1 towers is better than 1 level 4 tower.
Games never last long enough to get more than a single tower to level 6 or more. So why not cap it and offer additional bonus damage for that upgrade?
Money is hard to get. I play everyday, at least 10-15 games and still barely come out with 8k per day! You need 6000 to upgrade a single tower at level 6.
No point in playing coop, literally no rewards or benefits to it. Please give something for it. 40+ waves is virtually impossible. Out of the month I have played, I have only killed wave 40 once. Usually your paired with a player who has never played the game before, which is fine. But I would like to progress the game.

This game is good, but the devs need to listen to this!’
Iv been playing your game for a week now and have reached a fairly high level, it is very clearly a semi-clash Royale clone but it has its own differing mechanics and animations which is enjoyable.
The game it’s self is very “more-ish” and playable which is an amazing accomplishment for any tower defence game. So all and all the game is very good and I would recommend it.
However iv noticed some issues. In Co-op if a single enemy crosses into the castle, the game instantly ends. Iv also found that exchanging through level 24-25 is nearly impossible. The enemy’s need to be balanced a lot more and a castle HP system should be implemented!!
I would like to add that their should be more of a reward system, cooler towers and extremely rare drops, I feel like to PVP mode is good but again enemy’s can completely ruin the enjoyment. Enemy’s like the bedlam completely wiped your team, if you’re using engineers you will lose the next round as you most likely put most of your mana into level them up and also having as many of them on the map for the power boost.
All In all it’s a good game, however you’d be sat on a gold mine if you just got the balancing right and added more updates adding new towers, I’ll change my rating to a 5 and leave an outstanding review once done!!

Good game, but....
The game is fun. The mechanics keep it varied and I really enjoy the co-op feature. I have a few issues. The first is that there isn’t really anything binding me to play? There’s nothing to “unlock” really.. there’s some chests that become basically useless at higher grades as they’re so expensive to upgrade and you just get a bit of global crit, then the other token system where you unlock new cards (but can’t use them until you get them in a chest).. which brings me to my main issue... to get the best cards you basically have to pay money. Not a bit of money either.. my “offers” are currently £55 (with a chance of a new legendary card or potential to just upgrade my current ones), £25 or £5 (for some gold coins). It’s SO expensive it completely puts me off. No decent things to look forward to and no affordable option (or grind option) to get better units, really hampers this game. If you have a BUNCH of money to waste, go for it! It’s definitely fun, just stalls after you’ve played a while.
