Perfectly restrained

Really nicely designed app (and web version) that allows for easy and clear planning of your week. No complicated features to get in the way — it “just works”.

Suggestion: dark-mode support for the web version would be really nice. Yes I can use the iPad version on Mac instead, but it has a few bugs when run on desktop (e.g. text cursor gets stuck in a task field, certain UI elements don’t redraw when they should, etc.)

Love the app and use it daily. Another reviewer described it as perfectly restrained which is a great way of describing it.

My only problem is that I duplicate a lot of tasks.

When I tick a sub task in task 1

It is then ticked in any subsequent duplicated tasks which is obviously not what I want - can this please be updated

Not working

I’ve loved Tweek for so long, I use it everyday for the Lock Screen widget, but for the last few weeks there has been a bug that prevents entire usage of the app, it won’t let me add any new tasks anymore. When I click to add a new task for a day it just doesn’t register, I have to go back to a seemingly random date in the past, write it, then reschedule for today. Now having to delete and find another app as I was hoping it would be fixed in an update but no sign of that. It’s a shame because I genuinely think it’s such a good and simple app! I just want to open the app to today’s date and write my task, I don’t want to fiddle around going back and rescheduling :(

Almost perfect!

Tweek is an incredible, simple to-do list app. Would love to have the option for the desktop layout on iOS/iPad app, as I use it on my Mac. The portrait layout isn’t as good on large screens. Also would love to see days that have already been disappear so the left-most/top-most day is always the current day.

Lack of colours

Can we maybe have more lightish colours (I.e green is good but purple is way too dark), and maybe we could get the delete button back in the bottom right corner?

Edit: never mind the latest update has the colours! Btw my favourite app that I use everyday and love it. Better than notion imo for day to day to do tasks, appointments, chores, meetings etc

Simple, easy and so effective

I initially got this app to to help manage my time for school and with having a clear list of what I need to complete each day. Now I use it for everyday tasks and it has been a life saver. I love how the app is so simple and minimal yet so effective. It has truly helped me so much in dedicating different things for different days. The display of the app is also very cute, just a bonus :).

Perfect app for minimalistic planning

I’m someone who loves a very minimalistic approach to task planning. Tweek has everything I need for my daily planning - I’ve been using it for almost 2 years now! I usually come up with random ideas which I like to keep in a “Someday” bunch.

Btw It would be nice to have month calendar view!

Perfect app for control freaks lol

If you are someone who cannot sleep at night without knowing how tomorrow, the week or even month is going to pan out, this is the app for you.

Sometimes minimalism is key and that’s exactly what this app has to offer. Incredibly user friendly, allowing you to allocate yourself tasks for the day, with colour coding, ticking off tasks and you’re able to interchange the order of tasks too.

Perfect; straightforward and basic task planner

I discovered this app whilst looking for a to-do list and it’s the perfect implementation of a task planner, scheduler, to-do. Simple and straightforward to use. I find I can easily check off or reschedule activities I need to keep on top of. Wouldn’t use anything else for day to day life admin.

Overall great app

I really like the ability to drag and drop tasks and that you can rename the task lists whatever you like. I’d like if there were more take colour options in the free version but it’s understandable why there isn’t. Overall I really like it for planing out my week because it makes it easy to rearrange things as they change.

Absolutely love it!

I have been looking for an app like this for so long. I love notebooks and making lists to try and keep my life organised. But I spend so much time writing my list out again. On Tweek it’s so easy to move tasks I haven’t done to a future date. I also use it for my meal planning so I can change days if I need to. No more crossing out! Being able to share with my husband so we both have access to the list is so helpful too. I didn’t think any app would persuade me to move away from my notebook. It’s simple, but in a really smart way!

It can’t be easy to resist adding all the extra bells and whistles. But oh boy does it make a difference. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It would be nice if there was an toggle to only show today’s tasks though like you get on the widget.

Don’t know I needed this

I hadn’t realised that Tweek was exactly the TODO x Calendar app that is was looking for. It perfectly matches the way I’d want to organise my task, and gives me a clear view of the week ahead.

I’ve also started using it with my wife and it’s great to keep our family’s weekly plans in sync.

Does what it’s meant to

I use the free version and it’s quite nice. I like that I can move a previous days uncompleted task to a different day. For me, this app is much more effective than writing in a journal.

Great app, but invasive review notifications

I use Tweek daily. It’s a great app for being able to organise your week and aside from some bugs around deleting recurring reminders and renaming someday lists it’s pretty solid.

However today I opened the app to have a modal that couldn’t be dismissed blocking me interacting with the app, asking me to leave a review. Nothing out of the blue here as most apps pull this kinda nonsense but what was not cool was the immediate follow up email I received begging me to leave a review after I said I’d leave a review later.

So here’s your review Tweek. You’re a good app but whoever created your social proof strategy needs a hug as clearly they’re needy as hell.

Brilliant Minimalist To-Do App

I have been using Tweek consistently since 2021, and I will no doubt continue using it into 2024! It is a brilliant, easy to use to-do app that is perfect for people who don't want too many overcomplicated and uneccesary features. It is aesthetic and allows you to focus on what is most important - getting stuff done! I would love to see more colour choices with the premium subscription for further customisation, but all in all it's still a great app that is a breath of fresh air compared to others on the market. Another plus is that you can still get the majority of the functions without a premium subsciption, which is quite a rarity these days. Great job Tweek team :)

Great app in general but problems with the update

This has been a great productivity tool for me however the new update makes has caused it to loose some useful features.

1. Recurring tasks now remain at the top of each day. This means that I am unable customise the order of recurring and ordinary tasks between each other to give a rough schedule to my day

2. Also after deleting a recurring task, when I move other recurring tasks there is a small delay where all the previously deleted tasks show up before adjusting to the new order.

Very good free app

I had been using a different app before discovering Tweek. There are a few ways I’d improve upon tweek, but it’s an incredibly solid tool, with sync across devices!!! it’s mostly intuitive and I’m already getting used to any of its differences from other competitors in the field (that require a fee!). so I’m very pleased to have switched over to Tweek for the foreseeable.

Love this app

Over the years I’ve tried many task apps, from time blocking to just having a running list of tasks. I’ve never found that I’ve stuck to any of them because even when they were very simple, they just weren’t formatted in a way that was useful.

This app is brilliant. A running list of tasks that can be put under any date any time in the future. With the widget, seeing what I’ve got to do that day is simple. Moving tasks around is simple. And the sometime tab is great.

Wish you could do reoccurring tasks but other than that I’ve finally found the task app that I use and will keep forever. 😊

A great app to boost productivity

The app itself is great, even without the premium subscription. You get more versatility when purchasing but its not essential. Tweek has helped me organise my tasks for each day and the overall week. Only improvements I would appreciate is to the iOS widget wich sometimes I need to open for it to load, and maybe a dedicated desktop app. Give it a go! You won't be dissapointed.

Innovative life-changer

simple and easy to use

I love using tweek! It's simple but effective. I like that I can connect my google calendar and that I can colour-code my to do's. A couple of things that would improve it for me would be more colours for each to-do, and also having the option to have the days divided into hours of the day so I can clearly see when I have classes/work and can allocate my things I need to do to timeslots throughout the week. This would help a lot for organisation I think! But for the price I still give it 5 stars, and i use it every day :)

Not a fan of the new update on iPad

I use Tweek on my phone and IPad and I do really love the simplicity and minimalism of my to do list it makes my life so much easier to organise because it’s so clutter free. However, I used to be able to use this app on my iPad and see all the things to do in the whole week meaning I can plan and organise and rearrange more easily but with this new update I can only see 3/4 of 1 day in landscape mode and I have to keep scrolling through to see everything which is frustrating because I might as well have not bothered to write it down. Hope it fixes soon.

Simple and Clear

I find this app very simple to use and my week is clear to see.

I like the minimalist approach. Printing the calendars.

Only fault I cannot find a way to copy a task, as I do the same thing at different times each week and you cannot move a scheduled task.

Amazing app, but please fix the Home Screen widgets

I love this app. Amazing interface and reasoning. My one problem is that the Home Screen widget doesn’t automatically reset to show the current day’s tasks, it only reloads once you’ve tapped on the widget. Sort this out and it’s perfect!

Beautiful app but flawed functionality

I really wanted to use this app but my tasks kept disappearing when i switched between the app and the web page.

Looks amazing and love the simplicity but the functionality is a deal breaker.

Tweektastic

Everything I need and nothing more or less with a nice clear layout and intuitive functionality. Like that I can see the whole week at a view (on the iPad app). Also syncs to my iPhone which is super convenient. Also like that you can queue up to dos with a Someday status at the bottom of the screen and then move up to specific days (helps not to forget longer term stuff). Would prefer to pay a onetime fee rather than a monthly sub for the premium features though.

Great App!
