App has serious safety problems
So, what you are telling me is guys have their ego hurt by a girl not responding, they report you, you get banned. But they can send inappropriate messages and images all they want without any repercussions. Great app.
So, what I do not understand is. Guys can send over inappropriate images, to multiple girls at the same time, but as soon as a girl ignores or blocks one of these guys, they get banned for “inappropriate conduct” or something.
You lot are supporting pervs with this app. How are you gonna make it against the community guidelines to send inappropriate images but then when a girl reports or ignores it, they are the ones getting banned for no reason.
The amount of girls that have been banned even when not using the app is crazy. Me and my 3 friends came back after a month of not using the app and 3 of us were banned. Contacted support and it was the same thing about being reported. Best part is, we verified and even paid for Befriend+.
These issues were not a thing when the app was called Swipr.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The premise of the app is good, and it’s easy to connect. I like the verification too. But the constant ads is annoying - like one after each reply 😳 Then when they have an “offer” on the premium version, and you decline, it pops up every 5-10 mins. Get the hint! If I’ve said no, stop spamming me. Yesterday it forced closed over a period of 5 mins none stop but since the update that seems to have calmed down. While it could be great, the bombardment of ads and pop ups let it down. I get that ads generate revenue but you don’t need to shove one down our throats every two mins.

I’ve done nothing wrong, so apparently this app just bans people for no reason when they feel like it, tried to contact customer support but they’re too lousy to even bother replying, at least give me some closure. Punished for being sent pics?
This app has a points system that essentially works like a reputation marker, your number goes up or down depending on your ‘good’ or ‘bad’ behaviour. In theory this would be great, except for the fact that I not only lost 2000 points without even opening the app for a few weeks, but I have also seemingly been continuously punished through this system for being sent non consensual pictures? I have noticed that everytime, regardless of ignoring them and putting in an appropriate report, my points go down drastically and this could explain my sudden lack of adds despite literally paying for befriend+. I unfortunately can’t get a refund, despite my account now being rendered useless. Sort out your apps safety, this had the potential of being a decent app.

Banned for no reason
I started using this app and loved it. I made lots of friends in it and I never disobey the guidelines. Just for me to wake up one day to find out I’ve been banned. This was 8 months ago. I’ve been trying to contact the team but they keep telling me the same thing about my account being reported. But I’ve done nothing wrong.

Joined for a trial membership and now cannot cancel as their app doesn’t show up in my apple account. Contact their customer service and they tell me to go to the app settings and cancel. I can’t cancel and their email support is useless. There are hardly any accounts and what is on offer is it what is advertised. Very misleading and really not even sure if this website isn’t a genuine scam. Apple shame on you for letting a app like this use your serves. You’re complicit in taking cash from customers and not checking standards. Hopefully can get my membership cancelled and a refund

I’ve recently moved town and find it hard to make friends so last resort was downloading this to try and make some friends.
So far all I have encountered is thirsty men and perverted people who don’t want to be ‘friends’ they just want to see some ‘body parts’.
And the way the app runs is shocking. too many ads and you can only swipe like 5 times before you run out of gems.

i’ve made two accounts now and have both been banned for no reason ! i had a account on my phone with normal pictures that were accepted by the app and would message people making conversation pretty much everyday and then boom i was banned. emailed the company, no reply. made a new account on my ipad and again banned. I will uninstall your app because I’m annoyed by the fact that there are ads that can’t be blocked so you have to wait until the ad ends. Not to mention so many fake profiles like a person from Africa with Asian profile photos 😂It was nice but I had enough.

Too many ads to use the app effectively
Before the recent update the ads were bearable since you could choose whether or not you wanted to deal with them by doing certain things.
Now that it happens randomly when you either click to chat with someone or come out of a chat it becomes very frustrating and i immediately close the app instead of letting the ad finish. These developers seem very greedy for revenue and I have been on this app since the very beginning and have seen the subtle changes to make gems more requirable to have a good experience when before it wasn’t important.
I get the developers need to make money somehow but at least make it the consumers choice to watch them rather than making them pop up for every action you do. It definitely puts me off using the app at all
