A Good Site

I was introduced to Jacqui Lawson ecards by my sister in law sending them to us. I love using it because it gives me the opportunity to send greeting all over the world if needs be. It’s also great to use last minute if I have forgotten a birthday or anniversary. Equally even if I have sent a card in the post or delivered by hand I still like to send an ecard as it’s a lovely, lasting memory that my friends and family can carry with them on their phones.

Best way to send any card for any occasion

I have subscribed to Jacquie Lawson Ecards for years, the cost of ordinary postage in the UK is exorbitant, to send just one card by 1st class is £1.65 and by 2nd class at least 85p.

My annual subscription to this site pays for itself many times over, especially at Christmas.

I would highly recommend this site to anyone who still uses snail mail, there is an excellent selection of cards for every imaginable occasion, or you can choose your own occasion. You can send as many cards as you want, there is no limit

Trust me you will save £’s or if you are across the pond $’s

Dear Team, I have used your e-cards for many years & Advent cards since you have been doing them.

I love all the beautiful artistry and enjoy sending cards. Regarding your service, I am disappointed. Sometimes I want to get hold of you and found I never receive a response. Even when I want a new password if I have forgotten it, you never send me the link. 2 years ago when I tried to download the advent card to my mac , it stalled my computer so I could not get into it. I had to get it fixed! I reported this to you and no response. There have been other occasions where you have not responded. I can’t tell you how frustrating this is. HOW DO I RENEW FIR TWO YEARS

I found this about 20/25 years ago. It improves all the time. I see on your website now that it is possible to renew for two years, this could’ve saved me a lot of money over the years and at the right old age of 78. And a bit short of pennies I would like to do two years this year but I cannot find any way to do it. There is no email address for me to ask a question, your facts do not have the answer. I cannot do it on the app only a year. So I found that perhaps you might I hope read your reviews and answer the question can you get back to me if you do please? I’m due to renew by the 18th. And as I started at the very beginning way back when it would be nice to know that someone does read these.

Jacquie Lawson E Cards

I have been a subscriber since almost the very start of Jacquie’s cards. It has changed a bit, over the years and is not quite so easy to navigate, but it has been a godsend to me, living in the sticks, away from shops etc and getting older.

Now postage has got so ridiculously expensive, it has saved me many a penny/pound. I love seeing new cards but enjoy the old ones a lot, and find myself reverting to using them quite a lot. Long may it continue and I really hope the subscription doesn’t continue to go up too much for a pensioner like me.

What I find difficult to find is the list of the cards I have sent to individual people so that I can avoid repeating. It seems I can only find the last card, but what about the ones before that? I used to be able to see them all but no longer. This is disappointing. The old format was easier.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Been with Jackie Lawson cards for many years now but sad to say with the various modifications this site has deteriorated, with blank screens and the choices of cards. More complicated navigating the send pages too. It may be better on a pc or laptop but not very good now on a iPhone. Same problems with Samsung too. Did contact about this previously and was told probably the faults lay with low broadband signals, but had this checked and signal strength is fine and strong enough mobile signal too. This site used to be very good, but not so good now.

These cards are a life line to me, being disabled I would have no chance of sending a card to anyone, friends or family. They enable me to maintain my independence. Jacqueline Lawrence e-cards help me to keep in contact with so many people, thank you. Jacqui Lawson cards are absolutely beautiful and the artwork is amazing with so much detail. Sending an online card is very useful if you are late sending to someone, have not got a suitable card or cannot get out to a postbox. I have been sending Jacqui Lawson cards to family and friends for a number of years now and they all say how much they like them and mention things that happen in the cards.

Perfect app for the thoughtful but perhaps less organised person!

I love that I can send messages of all descriptions with a beautiful animated card to individuals, groups etc.

I am currently housebound which makes sending regular cards especially challenging and somehow a “Happy Birthday” email doesn’t quite cut it..

I am so glad I have resubscribed: at £36 for 2 years. I’m also going to be saving plenty on paper cards and it’s better for the environment too! :)

Reliable Service!

I have been subscribing to Jacquie Lawson Cards since its very early days. Their service is convenient and far better organised than I am! When I arrange for delivery, they never forget! And they never fail to deliver on the right day. If only Royal Mail was equally reliable….

I sometimes have difficulty with the website, which is frustrating, but friends and family love to receive the cards. And a subscription is great value compared to postage.

Problem Solved thanks to the App!

Been wondering for ages why I had such problems trying to send e-cards. Could select card, select heading and type message, but as soon as I tried to Send Card, it reverted to the blank message box. Finally checked “Help” and it turns out iPads have a problem sometimes, which is solved by using the App. It worked! Thanks.

Love using Jacqui Lawson e-cards and the fact that you can schedule them in advance. Love the huge range and variety of topics.

I have used Jacquie Lawson e-Cards for years, I have groups of friends all over the world and with the cost of postage it’s impossible to even think of posting Cards.

The best and easiest way to manage cards!

I love this app - I have had it for many years and the cards just get better and better. It is a doddle to use, I love being able to send a longish message with each one, a subscription is WAY cheaper than the post, and solidly reliable.

I can do all my Christmas cards at once, tailor them to particular recipients, and it takes a fraction of the time of doing ‘real’ ones. Love it, thank you.

The cards are wonderful, the website is clunky

I am in the UK on Apple equipment and I find it very frustrating to use this website because it just doesn't work the way it's supposed to work. Today I am getting an audio description with each card. I can find no mention of why this is happening. The questions and answers section does not address it and there seems to be no way to access a live chat or which is not helpful since today is the birthday.

My current strategy is to try sending the card to myself to see if the audio description turns off when the card is received.

I hope that Jackie Lawson will think of their UK customers and their Apple customers and sort the website out.

Please male email contact available. My daughter had to re set my account with you -even then it was difficult for me I have not been able to send cards for weeks as I was told that I had made a mistake in the address book but I hadn’t - it’s easy for you but very frustrating for me as I simply couldn’t see what was wrong………and no possibility of contacting a real person to get help.

I love this card app, it has every occasion you need, also the choice of changing the occasion. The animation is fantastic quality. I sometimes find the clip a bit too long, but I definitely think the music needs updating. I want it to be more upbeat, I think sending a card should cheer someone up and that is reflected in the music. I am finding myself sending a card based on the ‘music’ rather than the ‘scene’. If at all possible a chance to change music would be a fantastic option.

Card main titles

Once I’ve chosen an appropriate card it would be nice to be able to change the main heading ..

I just chose the Auricula card which only had thinking of you & get well etc. an extremely suitable card picture wise for the person but not so good for the Birthday I wanted it for, I wished I could have written my own heading …

Website problems

Have just recently renewed my subscription and on the JL website I have used for years I have have having failures in sending e-cards.

Once the message has been done I go to send expecting the page for selecting the address however it defaults back to the blank message page. Message lost. Several times so frustrating.

I downloaded the App and seems to work although I do prefer the website with which I am familiar. Disappointing after all these years of use. RMA

The best ecard collection on the planet, whatever the occasion. Such a wonderful variety & so ingenious in creation especially their Advent calendars which are a delight to open each day, plenty of activities to do throughout the beautiful Christmas festivities which thrill young and older generations. Best of all they keep costs to a minimum so it is affordable to many. I'm have been a member for many years & have sent their cards to friends & family in the UK & overseas & they are all so well received.

Always beautiful

Jacquie Lawson cards are always beautiful. They are an addition to a normal posted card or very convenient if you forget to post a card ( or are unable to) the Advent calendar they do each year is excellent value. Again beautifully done and has a real essence of Christmas about them. This app makes it even easier to send a Jacquie Lawson card.

Sussex Advent Calendar

Very disappointed when after three days my Advent Calendar stopped working. I contacted the Help Centre who, after several days, replied and told me to delete the App and reinstall. I did this but still didn’t work. My calendar was one of three that I bought and the other two are working! Given that I gave them my Order Number I’m amazed that such an organisation cannot reinstate my purchase. The App says it doesn’t recognise my email address when I’ve been purchasing cards from them for several years! Sadly I’ve just renewed my membership for two years and I’m wondering if I’ve made a big mistake!! Very disappointed!

Needs work for up to date mobiles

These cards are loving but truly require some work. Why is the music notifications visible? Quite annoying. More than half of the cards are in the wrong digital format for the latest phone sizes. It appears across half of the phone and not full screen. It cannot send to the Whatsup Chat at all and you land up paying for international sending though MMS or SMS. The privacy policy is too invasive considering the purpose of the app. The music is not for everyone and should be omitted by user choice. The music does not always complement the scene. The app is good but definitely needs a lift up

Don’t know what they are doing

Don’t touch this e-card site unfortunately they’re unable to get their subscriptions right you can’t cancel you have to contact them and write them a snotty message on help question which I am still waiting for an answer from to cancel my account the site will not allow you to cancel your subscription and neither will the app on updated phone there is no cancellation button on Subscriptions which they try and tell you there is in the helpdesk just watch yourself beautiful cards but they’re not worth The hassle

Absolutely Brilliant - Jacqui Lawson E-Cards

Like sending these & love family + friends happy responses. They actually make my day when I receive their thank you notes back. Everyone loves the two playful cats on the piano whilst it’s playing boogie-woogie - that card is my all time favourite. So many many thanks for making it extra special fun picking cards for certain occasions.

Disappointing

I have been a happy member for so long that I have lost count of the years. Sadly, your ‘new improved’ website is terrible. It is hard to navigate and no longer intuitive. The grey writing on a pale surface is hard to decipher. What should have been a simple task of choosing and sending a card of thanks has given me a stressful end to a wonderful birthday.

Best e-cards by far

Had a subscription for years, have sent thousands of cards. They are always appreciated be the recipients. Beautiful designs with background music to suit. As they are constantly being updated and in Card History a check can be made of what was sent to whom previously, no excuse for sending the same card twice.

Keeping up with technology.

I am delighted that an app is now available and it makes the whole process of choosing a card so much easier and quicker. It’s lovely to have such a good selection to choose from which is added to frequently. I’ve been a fan and a member for many years and hope to be so for many to come.

New website

Don’t like the website changes. Running dog throughout is irritating. No information with each card now and I like to know which play Happy Birthday- very important as other music not so appealing for birthdays. Address book now not in old order so more difficult to look through. Have enjoyed sending your cards for years but now becoming more of a chore

E cards

I have enjoyed sending the cards and have subscribed for another year. The technology is great. The ones I like most are those with people involved.

With regard to the card history, I find the former system of showing the list of my sendees, which included the dates and titles of the cards sent and whether they’d been opened, very useful indeed.

If we could return to that system, I’d be very pleased indeed.

I choose my cards carefully, bearing in mind my friends’ and relatives’ tastes, including their tastes in music as well.

This unfortunately leaves me with a small list to choose from.

I don’t think there’s anything you can do about this but I thought you’d want an honest opinion from one of your subscribers.

Old fashioned

I have subscribed to JL for several years, but I don’t think I’m going to renew. I’m finding the cards old fashioned and uninspiring now. It’s rare that anything new comes along and the collection is looking dated and rooted in the 1990’s.

This is compounded by videos that are slow to load in the app and don’t play correctly. JL say this was fixed in IOS 15.1. It wasn’t.

And where is my address book?! I’ve searched everywhere without success, and their help pages don’t allow me to search for the topic. It’s all a bit early days of the internet. Get yourselves a decent IT person!

What a selection of cards, I get spoiled for choice’.

I love sending JL cards to my friends, many of who are far away. The occasions vary, and thankfully, at Jackie Lawson, you seem to cover all eventualities and occasions! From cards just saying’Hello’ to special days like birthdays, anniversaries and special holiday times, world wide. Keep up the good work and we will keep subscribing. Thank you. The accompanying music is always good too.

Lovely cards but no privacy to share on social media

I adore these cards but I do not want my email address on show every time I share a card on social media, I asked them if there was a way to not show this but there isn’t apparently! It’s for this reason alone that I will probably not renew my membership and I have been a member from the very early days, when they first launched the new app, your email address didn’t show up on posts shared on Facebook, this was exactly what I wanted but then they changed it again. If they could sort this out then my rating would change but they aren’t bothered when you contact them and just send you a link to their help page which isn’t! Such a shame as the cards are delightful and everyone enjoys receiving them, but they need to rethink how to protect people’s email address when shared on public forums.

Jacquie Lawson cards

I have been using Jacquie Lawson cards for many years now and they are delightful. They are ideal for any occasion and always bringing out more. You can order a year in advance and send out as many as you like. At Christmas I send out 150. I also get notifications (if I want them) to let me know when cards have been sent and viewed. Sending a card to Facebook

Thank you Jackie Lawson for creating an app. I love your website and make use of sending ecards to my family and friends. Especially more so at the moment , where it is so much easier online to purchase things. My only issue is that I tried to send an e-card via the app and post to Facebook, however my options were only WhatsApp or messenger. I had to revert back to the website so that I could copy and paste the link into Facebook. Apart from that amazing thank you.

The Advent Card helped me through lockdown

What beautifully crafted cards these are. Thank you so much Jacquie and team. I do not think you realise quite how much pleasure you give us out in the world. Whenever I am a little down I go to my advent calendar app and make the dog and cats sit up a few times in the gorgeous Christmas cottage and then play the ‘bubble’ game, as I call it. Thank you for hours of quiet restoration.

Now it works

I wrote a review below in which I expressed my disappointment with the app. When I opened the app today I find it works perfectly. I can’t think why it wasn’t working previously. Any way, it’s working now and with the ease and convenience you come to expect with the website. Thank you Jacquie Lawson for providing this app. Being able to send a card from my phone is a bonus.
