Don’t buy

Had issues with this since day 1. My screen doesn’t work at all anymore and it’s a nightmare trying to get someone to fix it! My baby was left screaming because the camera decided to restart itself when he was in bed! Honeslty DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Hubble connected

Started out great but then booted one of the phones off despite it allowing 2 devices, so paid to put back on again.

Worked well again for 6 months now doesn’t show recording of movement or notifications of our baby moving.

Customer service doesn’t respond either.

If you only want to keep it just monitoring live stream it’s good but won’t keep 2 devices as it states so you have to pay and won’t notify you of movement, two of the selling features we got it for.

Terrible app

What with the camera constantly disconnecting whilst streaming, the audio library not working (unless you have premium, surprise!) and the constant log out bugs, it’s hard to rate this app anything higher.

Within 3 months of purchase the separate monitor device that came with the camera also got stuck in a reboot cycle.

Submitted numerous support requests and not had a single response.

Save your money and buy a cheap voice only one. The amount of issues we’ve had with this is not the one and constantly having to reset the monitor is not ideal.

Camera and app regularly refuse to link up. Even when using with the monitor screen the camera stops playing sound when not asked to!

Monitor stopped working . Can’t see my son atall. Can’t hear him either. I would not recommend this baby monitor. The app is equally just as useless , doesn’t load the picture , and unable to monitor my son in his bedroom. Poor .

Consistently disconnects

This app is really poor and considering its for baby safety it’s just unacceptable. The connection between app and camera never lasts, you always have to restart or it just won’t connect at all. We will be returning the purchase.

Brilliant!

So many amazing features. I’m a first time mum and I am currently sleep training my 6 month old. This monitor really puts my anxiety at rest and allows me keep an eye on her. I love how I receive motion notifications as wel. Really puts my mind at ease.

Cannot connect to camera with built in monitor or mobile phone using app. In 2024 the very basic you expect is a camera to work. The cost is extremely high for a product that does not work when a simple webcam would work at a fraction of the price.

Really, really awful.

In short, it just doesn't work. The fact that the app is so heavily based on upselling to the premium plan wouldn't even be so bad if it actually worked in the first place. My camera 'appears offline' for no reason at all, intermittently throughout the day or night. WiFi signal is fine, firmware is up to date, the thing just does not work.

Customer service

I would love to give this product a 5 star review but the truth is that Hubble customer service is appalling, my Hubble monitor screen went faulty when just 12 months old and after messaging customer services for 3 months and being repeatedly asked for purchase receipts which were sent on multiple occasions and descriptions of faults including videos I gave and put the Hubble in the bin. All Hubble want is your money and after that it’s goodbye. Buyers beware!!

I love the quality of the imagining specially in the day time as it’s in colour. I like the fact you can press the mic and speak so your baby can hear your voice when your not in the room and how easy it is to position the camera. Along side playing music and the night light. Another feature I love about this is that you can connect it to your phone

Hubble Delixe nursery pal-AVOID

Was bought this camera as a gift when I was pregnant, she’s now 9 months old and it doesn’t work. I have been told it’s faulty by Hubble but am unable to get any help as I don’t have the receipt. Not good for 9month old when it was £200+

Love it!

Really love our Hubble Eclipse with the companion app. It's great that we can control the light colours and brightness in addition to the music and sounds all from the app. There are lots of different options (including routines), many of which I haven't explored fully yet as baby is still very young, but I'm able to do what I want right now easily and simply through the app. Thank you!

Monitor lasted 3 months

The camera is still working and linking to my phone but I work nights so it’s not very useful for daddy sitting at home not being able to monitor our son. The system does lag but not terribly. When it was working it seemed a good system to have bought… the stress it’s caused not working has made me change my mind.

Does the job!

It’s genuinely a good camera to have for watching your little one, it does lag from time to time meaning you don’t get the quickest notification to let you know the like one has moved. Records the moments when the little one moves.

You can control the high light and melody’s from your phone app alongside talking to them and sleep training - I haven’t tried the sleep training as my little one is two, and sleeps well! I would recommend this app, it does keep your kind as ease especially if your busy and only have one monitor.

Absolutely Amazing!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I can not shout about how good this piece of kit is any louder! It has been a total god send for is. Without a doubt the the best purchase we have made having a newborn. I honestly can not think of what we would have done without it.

It’s so easy to set up and use and my wife and o both have the app so I can log on whilst at work during the day and check up on our little one.

You can control the lights and music and always be just a few touches away from seeing your little one.

My wife and I can sit in the garden after we have got the little one down and have one phone open and be at total ease of mind that everything is ok, whilst we would usually run up and down the stairs to make sure!

I’ve had the Hubble essential pal monitor for about 7 months and it has full charge and the parent unit has decide not to turn on it sometimes turns on for 10 seconds then switches straight off again

Wasted £150!!! On a monitor I thought would work but clearly is the worst one out there

Now I’ve got a baby with no monitor what can you do to help fix this issue for me

Doesn’t work when you’re away

The whole point for what we purchased this was to be able to monitor the baby once we’re out for a few hours. U fortunately the app keeps bugging and tells us it’s not connected every time we leave the house so from that aspect it’s pretty useless. We tried reconnecting dozen of times. Might be better just getting cheaper security cameras then that do the job.

No motion worked for 5 mins now not working

Had great reviews so thought I would try it. Camera now picks up no motion gone through all settings advised on website and instructions. Reset the device 5 times to see but nothing. Do not recommend the Hubble pal essential especially if it’s for putting babies in there room for the first time.. not reliable now have to purchase another camera! Have been in contact with the company and no reply’s do not waste your money on this or any of there products

Broken Baby Monitor

Hello,

We've had our monitor for less than 3 months and it isn't working anymore, it’s a Hubble Nursery Pal Essentials 2.8.

It has a solid green light and won't connect to either my phone or the screen. I've tried resetting it multiple times and still nothing. I went to Argos today to replace it but they said I needed to email you first to confirm they can replace it for being faulty so please can you do so ASAP as we are now without a baby monitor which is not ideal at all.

I love the idea of this app, and when it works it’s great but I often find the app says the camera is offline when it isn’t which is sooo frustrating!! Rebooting the app doesn’t work and I can’t go into my babies room to turn the camera off and on again so that is really frustrating!!

Great baby monitor

Love the music and nightlight features too. Useful as a cat flap monitor too when my granddaughter isn’t here! Video streaming quality is better on iPhone than on standalone monitor, but that’s fine too. Does the job well. Pleased with purchase.

A new MUST FEATURE

thi s works for us and has been great so far however as an app that parents would use mostly at night it would seem more appropriate to add a toggle to switch on night view or some darker app background as it’s extremely annoying looking all this bright whites at night times

Used to be great! Now terrible!

My husband and I used to be able to both view the baby cam app on our phones. Now the app logs us both out all of the time! The camera’s motion capture stopped recording video, I contacted the support team and after 3 months they still have not resolved the issue and the service has got worse. Constant issues. Looking for my receipt to return a now faulty product to the store. Don’t bother with this product, return the camera now!

It keeps logging me out?

I have been using the app for almost 7 months now and never had a problem but the past few days it keeps saying ‘session timed out’ and logging me out after a few seconds or if I close the app. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but it hasn’t done anything to help??

Fix whatever broke

Every time I use the app it tells me my login session expired. Sometimes while even using the app. How can my login session have expired after all of 30 seconds? Previously I’d have rated highly, but until this is fixed the app is all but unusable.

Inconsistent

The camera and monitor are good quality in terms of picture and features but the app is very inconsistent and doesn’t seem to connect to the camera very often. Get lots of issues with app which is a shame.

Pretty poor device

The timings are all wrong in the app. I’ll have put the baby to bed at 7pm but it’ll say 6pm even though the location is set correctly. The video quality on the monitor is terrible (but good on phone). There’s no zoom out option so can only see half the baby. It doesn’t capture all movements and now only capturing photos and no videos!

Camera never connects

It’s such a shame with this camera as it worked perfectly for 3 months and then all of a sudden stopped connecting and wouldn’t pair, it now won’t hard reset after following all instructions. There is no people to talk to in the UK only America and what they suggest doesn’t work and just to return it to the supplier with no reason as to why it’s not working. Now after looking at other reviews this camera seems to be consistent at not working.

The app is very disappointing, we have a strong wifi signal strength, yet when I try to play a lullaby or speak through nothing works keeps saying error or can’t play at this time and it’s frustrating no point in having the app just keep with the hand monitor

Okay at best

Camera and monitor are quite good. The app is horrendous barely connects to the live feed. Doesn’t detect movement very well.

And the constant stupid notifications about upgrading to premium are ridiculous and no you’re not spreading awareness about features, your just trying to get more money out of new parents. And the actual features are not worth a subscription at all.

Buggy app and endless spam notifications

The live video rarely works on the app, and when it does it takes forever to load up. The actual footage is terrible and flashes from light to dark constantly. The temperature reading is completely off. The sound sensor is faulty so it gives me a new notification every minute even if it’s deadly silence. The motion detector notification is better but it takes too long for me to even load up the footage to see what’s going on for it to be useful. I also get notifications asking me to upgrade my membership all the time and I can’t figure out how to stop them. Overall I’m considering getting another baby monitor all together so that I don’t have to use this app anymore.

Camera no longer works. App is not reliable and frequently goes down and needs to be rebooted. I’m currently now sleeping on my baby’s room floor because the camera doesn’t work , when it did work reported movement when there was none, recorded wrong times , this product is beyond awful would not recommend , will be looking for a refund

Best App to keep track of everything.

As a new mom you tend to forget how many times you feed your baby due to baby brain. This app has been super helpful when asked by health professions about how much the little one takes/in how many hours, number of diapers etc. i can also keep track of little ones weight to adjust his feeding routine. Such a handy App. Definitely recommend.

Great app - change default music option please

This app is great and the only thing I wish could be changed is the default music track is a very jaunty one called background happiness. It’s obviously designed to wake baby up but so easy to accidentally put on in the middle of the night instead of one of the more sleep-inducing tracks.

Please allow us to select our own default track or put one of the more relaxing ones as the default. Otherwise app is great!
