Not great full of bugs
Riverside web based studios are amazing but this app is a nightmare

Unprofessional
Totally unprofessional and untested app.
I am on the latest version of IOS and this app sometimes deny me access to my recording studio and it consistently crash in the middle of recordings.
Totally unusable for professional use.
Perhaps they have more features than zoom but zoom is realisable and that’s the most important feature for a professional podcast software.
So one star is too much for this untested app that is full of bugs.

Bad compared to desktop experience
I use the desktop version to record podcasts but used the app due to the fact I couldn’t get to the office.
The experience was awful, I kept losing the other two guests on the podcast (I was connected to a stupidly fast WiFi network with no other traffic) the uploads kept failing with no way to get the upload completed and the final sound quality was terrible - plus support only answer when they feel like - maybe Riverside grew to quickly?!
Yet the experience from within Google Chrome is amazing, how can two experiences be so so different - they’re billing system is awful but it’s always been bad.
The only thing this company does have down is slick marketing and a clever sales team.

Mistaken disconnects
If you swipe right (as people often do out of curiosity as this is a normal gesture on other apps) it removes you from the session- no warnings no nothing.
To compound the issue, it doesn’t remember your previous session ID so talent has to go back and find their invite email to rejoin

Constantly Crashes
Nice idea but simply will not work. Tried repeatedly but crashes every single time. For podcasters to use this it needs to be reliable and it just isn’t.
