Ahead of The Open's return at Royal St George's this July, The Open Tickets app will hold your tickets ready for entry to the Championship in 2021.
Discover the features of the app below, and how you can prepare to attend golf's original major.
Instantly Access Tickets:
The Open Tickets app offers instant access to all your purchased tickets through TheOpen.com website.
After completing a transaction to purchase tickets on TheOpen.com, you will receive an email closer to the event with a link to download the app.
Simply download the app and register with the corresponding email address you used to purchase your tickets.
From there, you will instantly be able to access your tickets in the My Tickets tab, ready for the Championship.
My Tickets:
In the My Tickets tab, you'll be able to view and access all purchased tickets bought with your registered email address.
You'll be able to see full ticket information and all relevant details in the build up to The 149th Open, as well as useful information on arriving at the Championship, gate opening hours, and travel and transport links and suggestions.
In addition, the app keeps your tickets safe and secure, as the QR code required to gain entry to the Championship through a contactless scan will only be visible and accessible within 24 hours prior to the gate opening time on the day your ticket is valid.
Ticket Transfer:
The Open Tickets app makes it easy to transfer tickets to each individual attending the championship.
With the email address of each individual guest, you can quickly, safely and securely send each ticket you have purchased to the guest who will be using that ticket, simply by pressing the Transfer button in the bottom right corner of the ticket you wish to transfer.
After your invited guest downloads the app and registers, the ticket you transferred them will appear in their account.
Notifications:
Get quick, easy and convenient notifications regarding your tickets, with information on gate opening times, Championship news and so much more.
