Absolutely appalling service keep getting requests to pay for my prescription as being ready, then order gets closed for no reason no communication whatsoever and had to contact them to get a refund!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

The Chemist4U app lets you order, track and get reminded about your NHS repeat prescriptions. You’ll also be able to view your health records and much more!
QUICK AND EASY TO SET UP
Simply log in or create an account with us to get started. Our app is integrated with NHS login, so you can securely access your health records and test results and book. You can also request your NHS repeat prescription, track the status of your order and get a reminder to order next time.
TREATMENTS DELIVERED FREE IN PLAIN PACKAGING
We’ll dispatch your prescriptions on the same day as we receive them from your GP*. We’ll deliver your prescription for free via Royal Mail, including fridge items. If you’re not going to be in, you can select a safe place. All items are delivered in plain, discreet packaging.
NO HIDDEN COSTS
Our service is free to use and is at no extra cost to the NHS. If you currently pay for your prescription, you will pay the standard NHS charge. If your prescription is free, just add your exemption details into the app.
WE’RE HERE TO HELP
If something goes wrong, our customer service team and pharmacists are on hand to help. Our help centre is also packed full of useful information. If you can’t find the answer you need there, or you need medical advice, simply submit your query to us via the help centre or chatbot.

WHO CAN USE THE CHEMIST4U APP?
You must be:
• Registered with a GP in England
• Have medication that’s on a repeat prescription
• Have a delivery address in the UK
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
1. Download the Chemist4U app, log in or create a Chemist4U account and set up your NHS login.
2. Your repeat prescriptions will appear instantly, allowing you to view and order at the press of a button.
3. Once requested via our app, your GP will check your order and we'll let you know when it's approved.
4. You’ll be kept updated along the way, starting as soon as we receive your prescription from your GP. We’ll let you know once we have dispatched your parcel, along with tracking details to track delivery to your door.
*85% of all prescriptions received by 3pm are dispatched on the same day.

All good but privacy
This app has issues when you use VPNs like proton. Even when connected to a UK server it cries telling you the app cannot be used from outside the UK. I shouldn’t need to put my Internet and personal information at risk just to order prescriptions.
Also if I am on an extended trip outside of the country why shouldn’t I be able to order my meds to be delivered to my home for when I return?
Easier and safer for your health to just use the NHS app directly

Now not working.
Went into the app and couldn’t order a repeat prescription because it would not accept an address from me (weirdly that was missing now). So I went back to the NHS app and asked for my prescription to be sent to my local pharmacy. Shame.

AVOID
Terrible company that gets literally everything wrong. I’ve had to switch back to the reliable Lloyds Direct because I’ve had so many issues with prescriptions.

Absolute rubbish
Asked me to set a pin so I set one and now when I enter it it says it’s wrong but there’s no option to change it. I’m logged in and click on a page and it asks me for a pin and to keep logging it everytime I click on it. Frustrating 😠Will be going back to pharmacy4u

Confirm button does not work at times
Absolutely awful app, i struggle to order as the confirm button on Iphone apple Safari as it does not work. Rubbish service. I ll switch to another provider due to poor app & difficult system

Stunning
Very impressed with the service and prompt delivery. I’ve spent hours waiting for our local Day Lewis to answer the phone and again hours queuing for my medication which they can’t find or have never prepared in advance. This app is so simply and the staff have respond instantaneously to my messages and the medication is delivered the following day.

WTH have you done?
Used to quite like this app. Don’t get me wrong I’ve never had an issue with getting my prescriptions from Chemist4U and none of the waiting at a physical chemist so it’s very convenient but blimey the latest upgrade is beyond dreadful.
I’m mid 50s but eyesight not as sharp as it was so got the slightly larger text on my iPhone settings but the app can’t cope. Words just don’t fit, where you need to click is nowhere near some of the options and it’s so clunky. Please reinstate the old version and rework this version before releasing it again. It’s like going from Windows 10 to Windows 95.

This app does not work. I have connection although when I put my phone number in it says I don’t so I cannot gain access to the app.

Very poor app
App often doesn’t load and doesn’t make clear if the prescription is sent or not. It didn’t make me aware that my payment details weren’t accepted so had to chase this for my prescription

Gross Misuse of your nhs data
Be Careful : if you connect this app to the nhs, they will change themselves as your default pharmacy for all your GP prescriptions without your consent. From there you can’t opt out. And even if you ask your gp to change it back, chemist4u will overwrite their data everytime you use their services (for example if you order a paracetamol without subcription, they will still change themselves as you default pharmacy for ALL gp prescriptions). Also you can’t delete your account. Even customer service does not do it. This app is 0% GDPR compliant, so avoid giving them access to your NHS account.

Completely incompetent
Been trying for over a week to sort my urgent nhs prescription essential for my functioning and have still not received any help with the faulty app which won’t verify my nhs account. If you have a prescription you need, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. They take far too long to respond to you, have no urgency about solving your problem, they do respond to your query but not with a solution. It takes 3 days between responses and each response just asks for more information which you have already included in your original problem.

Signed up in 2 mins, ordered my prescriptions and it linked with my GP too. Plus with the free delivery service, makes my life so much easier with no more queues!

Convenient and easy to use
I really like having all my healthcare needs together in an easy to use app. Ordering my prescriptions, shopping for medicine, booking my appointments, checking my test results and lots more. Being able to do all that from my phone at home without having to go the pharmacy or call my GP is so convenient.
