Fully fledged genealogy app
MobileFamilyTree has a complete feature set allowing the same level of data capture as any desktop application. From very detailed events to full referencing, it is superb.
I was recently confused by the app switching me away from my default Flat view. Although there are many flashy tree styles, most actually reduce the visibility of information. The 2D Flat view is still there though and I don’t know why it decided to switch me.
The only two features it is missing are editing the World History and direct syncing with MacFamilyTree, without going through iCloud.

An excellent feature-filled mobile app
This is a fine upgrade from the previous version and that was already excellent. It has so many features which I’d not expect in an iPad app. It doesn’t have all the Mac versions features but all the main ones certainly are and beautifully designed and the new “card” layout is a big step forward in practicality and design clarity. Very impressed. And SPH, Apple don’t allow discounts in the App Store after purchase - the price you see is the price you pay. Synium had already cut the price to 50% when you bought it but it’s still worth it if you pay 100% though!

Outstanding
This is a fantastic app for anyone who wants to put together a family tree that other people will want to look at. The whole user experience (iPad and Mac) is to the highest standard, with an excellent interface and comprehensive functionality. The app feels thoroughly up to date, unlike some of its competitors that seem to have been left in the 1990s.

Simple and versatile. Great image handling. Works well between my Mac and my IPad. Great buy. Been using it for 6 years.

Lots of facilities to record sources and associated notes and flexibility to add second marriages all beautifully illustrated with comprehensive reports

App doesn’t work with MacOS!!
I really like this app. Have this app for few years. Wanted to use this app on my Mac, but the app doesn’t work with MacOS!! It asks me to buy macOS version again for $69.99! I think one shouldn’t have to buy this again as I have already paid twice for the mobile app version 9 & 10.

Issues !
1. I downloaded this app as soon as it became available, and I understood there was to be a 50% introductory discount on the price. However, I have been charged the full purchase price of £12.99 !
2. I tried to change the displays in the ‘Charts’ option (different background, font etc.). However, the charts revert to their default formats when I exit the family tree and re-enter it’
Please sort these issues asap. Thanks
