There’s just too much going on and I’ve no idea what I’m supposed to be doing. The endless process of upgrading things so that you can upgrade other things isn’t something that holds my attention for too long.

Amazing, addicting game.

This game is so fun, I can’t stop playing it even though I’m writing this on the second day of playing. It would be nice though if things were slightly easier to get as sometimes it takes a while to do upgrades just to get to the next chapter. Also, it would be nice if getting more ants was easier as sometimes you need a larger population to place certain things down to hurry up production. However, I think it’s an amazing game for those who have plenty of free time to spend getting better at the game. It’s really easy to make friends and it’s a fun game to play if your bored of your normal mobile games. Plus, it has no adds!

Do not let children play this game

The age rating for this game being 9 plus is completely wrong it should be 16 plus, the amount of truly disgusting things said in chat is horrific as a parent and I’m not easily offended. But for children aged 9 and over to be seeing the homophobic, racists and sexually explicit things said in chat by people who have admitted they’re adults to people who have said they are a child is a concern.

Don’t be fooled

Don’t be fooled by the adverts. This isn’t one of those “multiply” type games but is actually a real time strategy “freemium” type game. Also when you are on the game there is no real obvious way to exit it. I had to hit the “community” button to load discord and then exit it by swiping. Quickly deleted the app. Some people may like it but not for me and the no obvious way to exit the game is a major red flag.

After 3 yrs in ROK

I left ROK because it became Tinder and a real life catfishing spot and I did not have the time needed to play seriously. This game is too compacted for me. For a start I am not a fan of the dark background it strains the eyes big time. I got raided now twice and there is nothing I can do about it. Luckily I have not spent any money on this game. Because it is so complicated to really advance and make a difference you need to spend a lot. You have way too many things to upgrade to be even a bit competitive. Otherwise people will just bully you. Which is happening to me atm. It’s a shame. I soon will delete it. Unless you play seriously and spend serious money you will just be cannon fodder.

Would be useful to know how to play

Downloaded, launched, and it just starts with some green circles appearing indicating you should press them. I have to press them twice (no idea why). I keep pressing them, things happen. I have no idea what is happening or why.

Still no reply after another week. Then I get warned for calling him homophobic in chat… clearly they don’t care about the players. This game is purpose built to choke you for time in order to squeeze money out of you, that’s literally its purpose it’s a ground up frustration simulator not a game. Yet another money pit pay to do everything and win game. It seems interesting enough and playing just for fun, however every other option is buy this or buy that. Pack prices vary from 89p to £89!

Mostly decent strategy game.

Good game, and it has a lot of potential. There’s a few problems that could be worked on - there are far too many servers and not enough players in each. This means you end up with 5-6 alliances controlling each, and nobody wants to attack their own server because of Server V Server.

Server V Server has also become an issue. It doesn’t matter how much work you put in each day, how many points your server gets. 10 minutes before cut off, it all depends who has the biggest wallet. EVERY DAY offers points for buying diamonds, and it’s a complete killer. Nobody joining in SvS because of diamond buying and nobody attacking their own server. It is making the servers, and the game itself, stagnant pretty fast.

I have played many Strategy games the most notorious being GOW but this game is better than most others. There is loads to do and the graphics are really cool. Although you can purchase items to develop quicker the cost seems a lot less than similar games. Yes the game provides some information regarding ant species etc, but… It’s exactly the same… It’s the same layout, the same functionality/metrics… the world map is exactly the same as PoC, just not at sea.

Like all games similar to this, fast paced start but gets a little slower, however no ads, very quick to learn and enjoyable to play with plenty of things to do!

Okay so far, enjoying it

Novel concept being insects, if you enjoy your base building/ skirmish games that are usually dominated by pay to play Russians then give this a go. Would I still have played it if it was humans? Probably not, dropped one star for as the game progresses it gets a lot slower. I enjoy the base building more than the generic map skirmish stuff.

Same but different

This game is generally the same as all the other war games but in an underground anthill. It does teach you about different ants and there whereabouts (turns out there are more than just Black, red, flying and Queen)

It’s fast paced at the beginning so you have to go back through and work out what bits are but if/when you get the hand of it, it’s all good :)

Really good

I really enjoy this game, and it’s so helpful that you get rewards while playing, makes it so much easier, plus you get to learn about ants, and you get to customise your hill layout

Rok vibes

It’s early days for me. Gives me ROK vibes (rise of kingdoms) Which ain’t a bad thing! I spent tons on that game the only thing that ruined it was repetitive alliance point collection by killin barbs all the time just to stay on top of the event rewards. So hopefully it’s everything great about ROK with it’s own ideas without the dumb repetitive alliance events later own

For now I give it a 4. Let’s wait into the future

Really good game

I saw an add on fb and thought nothing of it, downloaded and started playing and it’s really fun once you get past all the tutorials. It’s a bit slow at first but once you get some stuff built you can really get into it, shame it can’t be played offline, or I haven’t figured it out yet.

Enjoyable

Found this game by accident and I’m glad I did, though building times takes ages after a few chapters, I just love playing with the ants as it is different from the other games always played by humans. It helps me chill out after work.

Love this game

I absolutely love this game! It’s one of the few real time idle games (whatever they’re called) that is like it’s advertising. There is micro transactions in the game but they aren’t essential for a decent play through.

Great game

👍👍👍 really enjoyable, only issue for me is that it seems the only thing you can use diamonds for is to complete buildings/speed them up. Wish they could be used for getting special ants or something

Great game BUT technical issues!!!

It’s a great educational game for all ages BUT if you actually want to play with friends and create alliances it’s absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to change servers. There is a step-by-step guide on how to change servers BUT it doesn’t work… I have tried numerous times to use the “newbies teleportation” but you can’t use it above a level 5 Queen or you have to restart the whole game…YOU DONT GET TO SEE YOUR INVENTORY UNTIL YOUR QUEEN IS LEVEL 5?!?!? it doesn’t make any sense I’ve tried to follow the steps but it’s impossible and there isn’t a way around it… I’m already bored of trying and restarting the game to try and obtain moving servers that I have give up playing completely :(

Decent game

Nothing new apart from extra resource management. Lots more resources to look after and to make sure you don’t run out. Still pay to win but not as blatant as some games
