Cannot connect to WiFi
This used to be ok but now it will not connect to my WiFi. It simply does not recognise two letters in the password. Tried all manner of different things but nothing worked. May as well put it in the trash

Does not let me create an account. Running the latest iOS 18.5, constantly shows “Network Error” and if my data and WIFI was not working, I would not be able to post this review. How am I supposed to use the camera if I can’t even get in the app

Doesn’t record when it needs too
I have had two of these security cameras with the protect plus subscription. We had an incident and it recorded nothing. Cameras miss a lot despite being able to set an area to monitor.
The app is pretty slow. If you want to check your camera because you heard something it takes about 2 full minutes to open the video

Needs a privacy zone
I’m very pleased with the app, and once you get used to it the functionality of operating the camera is really good.
The only downside is it needs a privacy setting so it doesn’t cover neighbours property just your own.

Great home surveillance
Nimble and easy to use little cameras for home surveillance. I purchased a pack of 2 solar panel powered 2K cameras which worked really well. One suddenly stopped working and after contacting after sales service, a new version of the camera was dispatched. Very easy to use connected app interface.

Great customer service
I have a number of the D1 new 360 max to cover my needs . The company receives feedback on the products very well . I use local storage solutions which work for me personally. Up loading the things you wish to file is very easy and quick . The App allows you to keep memory card very clean deleting clip not required. I have Solar and on days with Sun the cameras stay fully charged. I purchased from Amazon Prime delivered very quickly. Very easy to set up out of box and even easier when you add extra Cameras as app has details of Wi Fi. I had fixed view and no tracking from another company I had to return them as you end up needing 4 cameras to do the job of 1 of the Aosu D1 max . I can recommend as long as they give consistent service!

Best value security cameras
I spent a great deal of time researching security cameras before I finally bought a couple of Solarcam D1 Max and a Video Doorbell Ultra. Both of these products have been great as well as being reasonably priced and I haven’t been disappointed with my choice. I’ve even bought a third D1 Max as a result. The video quality is great and all of the devices are easily managed via the Aosu app and integrate nicely with your phone’s notifications. The support from Aosu is also responsive and helpful. Totally satisfied with my selection 😎

Absolutely amazing products and even better customer services
I’ve made my purchase for a Cctv solar panel camera for the outside of my house. I had my product for over a year. I then had a problem with it. I reached out to the customer care team via email. They then got back in touch with me, I now have a replacement camera Which is absolutely fantastic. They are they go above and beyond to help solve any problems.

Sends spam notifications
Even though I have switched off promotional notifications in settings. I keep getting them thinking that it is a genuine notification of someone ringing my bell.
This is awful and unacceptable. And I can’t switch them off unless I switch off all of the notifications.
Disgusting. I am going to send it back to Amazon and get a different brand.

App feature request:
Ability to power on and off the video doorbell via the app, without having to physically press the button at rear of doorbell.
Great app. Only issue i found was when share doorbell, the new user does not have option in Notification settings to receive notifications via system calls. Even if permissions are set to Admin instead of guest.

Good camera but….
Cameras are good and app is ok however not being able to set a zone is really frustrating as the notifications are so many it’s a pain! A busy path and it’s constant!

Excellent cameras
I now have 6 of these cameras around the ground floor of my house.
I like to keep a check on my house rabbits and ensure that they are not getting up to any mischief.
They have been a god send, when one of my rabbits hasn’t been well. I can just rewind the recordings, to pin point which rabbit has been poorly, to enable me to meditate.
The images on all cameras are perfect.
A couple of years ago, I did have a problem with one of the cameras. I contacted the supplier and a new camera was dispatched immediately.

App easy to use
I have been using this app for several months now with my AOSU video doorbell and have found it easy to both install and use. I recently bought an AOSU security camera and linking this to the app was just as easy. There are two changes that I feel would make it better
1).For the doorbell either make it possible to reduce the time that the ring sounds if the notification is not acknoledged OR if it is acknoledged on one device, turn it off on both. This is because both my wife and I have the app on our phones one can keep ringing for quite a long time if the other answers.
2) Regarding the camera, mine is at an angle to my car and to set a detection zone to cover the whole car, part of the zone covers the pavement and people passing by trigger the alarm. Being able to covert the detection zone from a rectangle to a parallelogram would stop this.
These two improvements would improve an already good app.

The app is a bit of a hit and miss, sometimes it works ok other times like today its not loading the recordings and then asks me to hit refresh. Its still not working, so wouldn't buy this again for my other property. The camera, app and recordings have to be 100% accessible and reliable and this unfortunately isn’t

Good quality cameras but app is terrible so overall not worth it. I cannot connect to the cameras on my mobile data (when out and about when I need to keep an eye on my house). Only works on wifi. Tech support tell me this is a known problem and it still isn’t fixed. Do better!

I have been redirected from their chat to the app chat and had to register here to get answers for my simple questions. It took them 12hrs to answer for 2 questions, as they missed the questions completely or didn’t even understand the questions. They answer whatever and then see if it’s okay or not. Joke. The app is atrocious, I click on one event an the app just automatically starts to skip through every event ever recorded without letting me stop on any of them to watch. I’ve honestly never seen such a bad camera app it makes the whole thing unusable. Developers if your reading this please fix your app! Not happy with new update!!!
I just updated the latest firmware update on one camera and now it’s refusing to recognise my sd card and pushing me to use cloud which I don’t want at all!!!
This update has made my home vulnerable there was/is nothing wrong with the dd card until your update… thank goodness I didn’t upgrade the other two
This unacceptable, tried everything except deleting the app and am afraid that if I do and do a reinstall the new update will invalidate the other sd cards… again I do not want cloud services.
If it wasn’t for this bad update I would of happily give a 5 star now am only willing to give 2 star because of this issue

App support patchy at weekends
I had a really frustrating weekend trying to sort out why this doorbell would not notify me when rung. Over 6 hours on support and after getting really frustrated the tech guys got in touch on Monday (today) and it’s resolved. I’d written a really long 1 star review two days ago, but I’m amending it now as I said I would if this got resolved. It rates 4 stars because I love that there’s no monthly fee and it does do what it’s meant to. But I would look at the support. The agents are very patient, but there are some things we should be made aware of immediately on contacting you- 1. You are not in the UK so there is a time difference for “office hours”. (Are you US based?) 2. Tech support is not available after hours (your time zone) When I made contact Friday afternoon (UK time) I thought I was on to tech support. Saturday afternoon I discovered I wasn’t and they wouldn’t be available until “Monday morning “ Monday morning I discover there is a time zone difference. Once onto the actual tech - sorted in one message. But I’d spent over 6 hours with other agents over the weekend. Other than the support issue , the product is great. Please let us know which country you’re based in so I can work out time differences and maybe not get so frustrated when I don’t realise it may be the middle of the night for you, but for me it’s office hours. Thanks
