The Life in the UK test is a Compulsory Requirement for Citizenship.
The Life in the UK Test is compulsory for each person wanting to apply for naturalization as a UK citizen or permanent residence. This is also known as Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or UK settlement.
Life in the UK Citizenship App helps you prepare for the official exam.
There are 500 single questions with 43 tests and 1075 questions in total to help you to make practice.
- Each test has 24 questions and passing marks are 75%, you need to answer 18 questions correctly and each test is 45 minutes of duration.
- Do not forget to take practice tests daily and frequently until you get the achievement and well enough to pass the actual test.
- Make practice and understand ice with our multi-language (Helps with Turkish translate only now) questions.
- Follow-up your progress bar and check your test scores to get ready well enough to pass your official test.
- Review your questions and test results in your practice bar to see which question answers are incorrect and correct.
- Send us your feedback directly from the app and inform us any of mistakes.
- Dark mode is available to allow you to study in dark.
Note: Please remember to book your Life in the UK test online at least 3 days before. There is a fee to register for your official test and there are around 60 test centers in the UK.
Remember to bring your proof of address to the test.
Frequently asked questions;
What is the pass mark for Life in the UK test?
You must score 75% or more to pass the test. You'll get a 'unique reference number'. You'll need this number to complete your citizenship or settlement application. The Home Office will use it to check that you've passed.
What happens if I fail the Life in UK test?
If you fail the test, you will lose your test fee. You can retake the test after 7 days, and there is no limit on the number of resits you can take. You will not be able to make an application for naturalization as a British citizen or for indefinite leave to remain until you pass the Life in the UK test.
Do you have all the official questions in your app?
