Shocking Ripoff £363.48 p/a
I forgot to cancel the trial, and was billed £6.99 for a week, that’s per week or £363.48 per year. This is scandalous- a trap, avoid!!!

Misleading trial
Your meant to get a 3 day free trial but when you sign up it charges you for a weeks subscription where I wanted to try before I bought it !?!

App not able to recognise common plants after various attempts. Instead it’s continuously asking for money even during the trial period…hmmm

No trial end reminder & v expensive
I signed up for the trial and asked to be notified befuddled it ended. I used the app but it failed to recognise 2 pretty basic houseplants so I gave up on it. I didn’t get any reminder my trial was up & was subsequently charged £6.99 x 2 wks before I realised. I messaged info@ who have so far ignored me. £6.99 a week is about the order of my Wi-Fi, crazy expensive. Sad they seem to take advantage of people accidentally paying vs wanting too in order to make money.

Scam app.
No mention of WEEKLY charge of £6.99 for at best a once or twice a year app. No email or contact to mention any auto renewal. Absolutely disgusting. Have reported and advise to steer well clear.

Not worth the money
The identification tool is hit and miss. Some identifications definitely incorrect, others not identified at all despite multiple attempts.
The diagnosis tool is just a sham. Doesn’t function at all like the multitude of advertisements that plague my social media. “Abiotic disease” is not a diagnosis, simply a clever way of saying “we don’t know what is wrong”. Suggestions include, too much water, too little water, too much light etc. Not at all helpful. Even when the leaves were clearly covered with a fungal infection, the app was still not able to identify the problem.
You can save yourself a load of money, and learn a lot more, by buying an old fashion, reliable gardening book written by real experts.

May as well google
Nothing at all like the adverts on Facebook. Doesn’t identify problems with a solution - just gives a vague response and every possible problem that could be occuring (overwatering / underwatering / too much or too little sunlight etc). Misidentified a basic plant of mine.

Doesn’t identify plant!
I’ve tried to identify 3 of my newest plant with no luck. Tried different angles and always suggested golden pothos for all. Deleted the app after 10 minutes.

Love that this is totally free (unless you want premium. Hate that it’s totally crap. Called me Goeppertia orbifolia a Peace Lilly. I have a Peace Lilly in the flat so I knew it was totally wrong.

False advertising scam
I downloaded this app after seeing an advert for it on instagram. On the add, you take a picture of your plant and it analyses it and tells you EXACTLY what the issue is and EXACTLY what the cure is. I tried it. It comes up as a page every time for every plant I scanned- the exact same page saying it could be either: under-watering, over-watering, too little sunlight, too much sunlight, too many nutrients or not enough nutrients and then the “cures” were very obviously to do the opposite of whichever you have to decide you think your plant has. HELLO!!! THATS WHY I DOWNLOADED THE APP!!! I KNOW IT IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH BECAUSE IF I DID I WOULD NOT BE SEEKING HELP FROM AN APP. Complete waste of time and money and false, misleading advertising.

Chinese Translation and Poor ID
The Chinese to English translation is poor, the ID for sick plants is far from on the money and overall I’m not impressed. Will be looking for an alternative plant app.

Contradiction after contradiction
The app appears very nice when you start, and recognised this plants! But when you actually read plant care advise there is one contradiction after another such as: this plant prefers full sun, at least 6-8 hours a day, shaded location will affect flowering. A few sentences bellow. Keep away from full sun, best in Partial shade. Same plant. Water regularly keep moist, bellow water infrequently, wait for the the couple inches of soil to dry out’
So not just a little discrepancy but advising the exact opposite!!! As if advise for all plants has been copy and paste together randomly!

Thought I’d download this to identify two types of apple trees a friend of mine has. This app identified them as everything from which hazel, Japanese Knotweed to a Dahlia. Not once did it use ty them as even being fruit trees. Hahaha. Deleted app!

I asked it to identify the problem with a plant - it suggested the problem was either:

Inaccurate
I tried this app out on the plants I have in my garden (I know exactly what they are as they are all newly planted). This app couldn’t even identify a common petunia in full bloom or a sweet-pea correctly. I’m glad I did these scans using the free scans because I would be very annoyed if I had subscribed.

I signed up for an account and to my dismay, my garden hath been rendered barren. I tried logging out to rectify the issue, but no dice. I would be grateful for my previously identified to be returned to me at your earliest convenience. By the way though, for every day this doesn’t happen, I will slaughter a sunflower.

Good app, ridiculous price
£200 for a year’s subscription? Utterly bonkers. Used to be you could buy this type of single-use app for 79p. Now it’s £7 per WEEK. Not month. Week. Or £200 for a year?! How did we get here? This app is useful and if you made it a one-off £5 fee, I’d buy it. Instead, you have gone for the “most people won’t notice they’ve subscribed so we’ll scam them for a few weeks until they cancel” model. Insert applause emoji.

Charged inspite of cancelling
I downloaded the app on 28th Apr since I wanted to diagnose why some of my plants are looking sick. However, did not find it useful and hence cancelled it on 1st May after the 3 day free period. However have been charged £6.99 for the weekly renewal. I had set a reminder to know before the renewal but that that never came. Have requested for a refund.

Omissions and too expensive
Fun, but not worth the price. Especially when you cannot save your own picture of the plant to “my garden”, for the record and to check later against a written cross reference, as identification is often wrong, or close but not close enough, if you follow.

Took the exact same photo three times in a row and each time it came up with a different plant that wasn’t even correct. I then took a photo of another very basic common plant and it couldn’t identify it. Deleted the app straight away

Scanned my plants to try it out (I know already what they are). But app, identified them incorrectly. Also, I took photo of one of plants with black and dry buds and dry leaves and result said no problem.

Very very expensive and not very helpful
I have two house plants I wanted to perk up. Whilst the app identified them, the possible problems were either over watering, under watering, uneven watering, too much sun or not enough sun. For £199 for a lifetime license (I mean, come on!) I’d expect someone to come to my house and fix the plants! Cheaper to buy new plants. Definitely not a good app or purchase, even at £6.99 a week

The app is riddled with grammatical errors. I don’t mind this too much, but when you can’t make sense of the advice it is offering as a result it is problematic.
