SMART ORDER

You can use the LEON Club app to skip the queue and easily order all of your favourite dishes for pick-up from our naturally fast-food restaurants.

Simply select your LEON restaurant, choose your dishes, choose your pick-up time (incl. ASAP), checkout and pay.

RE-ORDER

Ordering over the app is even easier than in-restaurant as, using our re-ordering feature, you can simply tap on your recent LEON meals to enjoy them all over again.

LOYALTY & REWARDS

Ordering with the LEON Club app is also more rewarding. You will earn LEON Club loyalty points with every purchase, which you can then use to order anything on the LEON menu for free.

You will earn 100 points for every £1 you spend. Once you hit 3000 points, you can choose to pay with points at checkout and get any LEON dish of your choice for free.

Worst User Experience Ever

Not just this app but the whole customer loyalty experience is beyond belief. Bad connectivity at their end (nothing wrong with every other app) means constant error messages while trying to create an order, with actions interrupted by messages asking if you want to continue. I am in the shop but I have to use the app if I want to use a discount code (because it’s not accepted at the till or at the kiosk) and selecting for collection as soon as possible means that the collection time becomes invalid while I am entering my card details, which causes the app to crash. Constant interruptions to upsell with sides make ordering three mains really difficult (while losing signal and getting prompts of imminent end of the session). There are not enough discounts that will ever make me want to go through this again. 30 minutes inside an empty shop, re-entering the order 4 times and my card details twice, when I could have just gone at the till and paid in five minutes.

Very frustrating with the roast rewards

The app is full of bugs constantly telling you’ve lost connection at which point you have to go back to the start of ordering food or coffee, this is the only way to order coffee through the roast rewards club and can be incredibly frustrating when ordering (which should take 2 minutes) ends up taking 5-10 due to the bugs in the app.

Allowed me to select a number of items for a party of 4, then it made me create an account. This removed all items from my basket.

New update has broken meal deal ordering

Unable to add a poached egg pot now when ordering a Meal Deal. Just shows a white screen with Back and Poached Egg Pot in the top left.

None of the discount codes are valid at the kiosk. Why ? This is stupid. I haven’t ordered anything on the app yet , I bet won’t work either . Even if it did why can’t I use the kiosk with voucher discounts?

What’s happened to this app???

This app used to be pretty good but in the last month it’s fallen apart. First Apple Pay stopped working and today it reckons there are no click and collect restaurants nearby yet I am standing outside Leon at Borough market in the heart of London! Please fix these issues.

Works but frustrating UI

Please optimise your reorder payment flow. It literally takes *10 clicks* to reorder my usual order that I have every day. Makes the app significantly less efficient and more frustrating than it could be.

Not able to place order

I’ve tried several times to this month to complete an order for coffee that fails when you submit it. I then have to resort to using the kiosk which doesn’t seem to allow me to use the points I’ve accumulated. I love Leon but this is a poor experience. Such a shame!

Don’t know why this exists. Can’t use in many stores. Doesn’t work with Apple Pay. Crashes routinely. Can’t collect points in store unless ordering through the aforementionedly broken app. Will delete.

Can’t create an account so can’t order food

Just used the app for the first time. Went to order food and it asked me to create an account but it just kept saying “network error” even though I’m on reliable WiFi and everything else on my phone is working fine. Unusable unless this gets fixed.

Absolutely shocking app

First download, freezes and says ‘something seems a bit off with your connection’ and reboots randomly every 2 minutes. Which deletes your cart. Absolute waste of time downloading, save your time and effort.

Also any discounts don’t apply to meal deals, which isn’t clear anywhere and is the main type of food to order. Restaurant suggestion was order each item individually, but what a farce. A terrible system, UI and app.

Currently doesn’t seem to be accepting Mastercard saying that 3D authentification failure. I tried this a month ago and got the same message. Nothing wrong with my card as am using for other things

Installed the app but doesn’t apply at franchises and you don’t get loyalty points. So in what way is it Leon? Also surprisingly few veggie options (though maybe out of stock). Food is still way better than other fast foods - it is proper, and contains actual vegetables. So really I’m just moaning about the franchise thing.

Repeatedly requested password reset via email, but just going round in circles as it never gets me anywhere to create a new password, just goes straight to log in page, forgotten password, request new and so on. What a waste of time.

Collected 3000 points but app won’t open and so I can’t redeem. Went to ask the staff and they offered me a 20% discount, but Ben though if earned enough for a free meal.

They need to change the loyalty scheme to rip off scheme.

Absolute rubbish

Ordering anything through this application is a horrible experience. Unless you know the exact address of where you are or the place you want to order from, you will continue to try the restaurant from the super long list. When you place an order and need to change the location - forget about it. You need to start a new order from a scratch. For something that should be easy to use it fails miserably.

A lot of improvement needed

The app doesn’t work or can’t be used at so many stores. Motorway service stations and Liverpool Street station are not supported.

No Apple Pay and can’t save card details.

If you order ASAP whilst standing in a queue you end up being served last. You’re better off queuing.

Can’t collect points if you order from a person. Add a QR code so we can just go to the checkout please!

It has potential but every other loyalty programme works better

Too many clicks

I find this app quite annoying despite using most days.

First up the ‘hello good looking’ welcome message is just naff.

Secondly it takes far too many clicks to do everything. I generally want to order the same thing for breakfast every day. It’s great to make the order just before my train gets into London however what should be super simple actually takes an inordinate number of clicks.

I just want to press one button to repeat my order from yesterday. Same order, same shop, same time (asap), same lack of allergies, same payment method etc instead of the 15 clicks required today. This would be a big win.

No Apple Pay, are you serious?

Gave up trying to order when I realised I’d have to manually type in my order details. Add Apple Pay and this app might actually come in useful.

Also, do you seriously expect people to manually type in a long membership number into your kiosks? Especially awful when there’s a queue. Please add a QR code scanner or something quick and less archaic!

Does this actually work?

All I get is ‘network error’, when I’m stood with full 5g signal. So it won’t even let me log in.

It had worked twice.. but logs you out too frequently which was annoying.

Rating for app not food

Love Leon’s food but experienced immediate disappointment with the app. “Join Leon Club and get 30% off your first order” it says on the sign up page. Signed up, ordered, of course no discount. And very poor visibility on how reward scheme works on the app itself - haven’t dug any deeper but shouldn’t have to. Rubbish app.

Leon App is no longer fit for purpose

I’ve been a big fan of Leon’s food and their customer service, never had any problems until recently.

My colleague told me about the Leon App and told me how I can order and collect with waiting to be served during busy periods.

I’ve been buying the vegan meatless almost every week, because it taste great, however about a month ago this item disappeared as an option when using the App.

No idea why, and it seems the Managers at the branches don’t seem to know either.

I’ve got 1,000’s of points accumulated which I can use because the item that I want to order is no longer available.

I’ve contacted Leon, still waiting for response, it seems the issue is with the App.

The only way I can buy this item is buy waiting in a queue and placing an order.

What’s the point.

Unless you fix this issue, you will be losing a lot of customers.

There are other items missing too.

Why would remove items that are readily available to purchases at your Leon branches in all locations.

It’s really illogical that you can’t scan a barcode or QR code, and have to manually input your card number at the kiosk to get points 🙄 Please can the product team look into this?

Needs improvement

Placed an order at 13:59, chose ASAP (14:00). By the time I’d added card details it was 14:00. This caused an error and the app to hang on the payment screen.

Removed account without knowledge

Having used the app multiple times to order I finally had enough points to redeem. When I came to use them after an app update I had been logged out, then on trying to log back I. With my saved details I apparently no longer have an account with Leon anymore (when trying to reset my password it says account not found). Seems like a big scam if im honest. Tried contacting their help but they don’t even acknowledge contact. Oh and unable to add card details to app anymore, have to pay in person which kinda defeats the purpose of preordering for quick collection.

Every m week there seems to be a problem with this app. Last week the payment option wasn’t there; this week I can’t spend my reward points as there’s no option (and it’s showing that I have 10x the points I should).

Why is it so hard to get this right? It’s a fairly simple app.

Not available on some of busiest stores

I downloaded this as I eat at the Canary Wharf Leon regularly. The staff didn’t seem to know about the app and then someone said you can only use in branches where there is a kiosk. Just think that’s rubbish given this must be one of the busier Leon’s!

This app is hopeless. I have to terminate it and reboot every time, it hangs constantly, and it’s badly designed in that there are far too many confirmation stages to get to order. You guys need to get a better developer!

The Apple pay option randomly doesn't show up, if it's not there, I won't complete my order as it's a hassle.

The order buttons are hidden below the home bar.

You can select an order time a few seconds in advance that is immediately invalidated.

Good, could be better

Leon’s great. Food’s awesome and have been a happy customer for some time.

App’s not quite there yet. Preferring to order at restaurant as it’s a headache at times.

1. It logs you out when you lose connection (ie on a tube).

2. Login is typing manually, no Face ID. So when #1 hits, you’re rushing to log in.

3. Kiosk loyalty should be a QR rather than a typing lengthy code

4. When you’re logged out, order doesn’t save so need to resubmit

5. In store they use names to call forward rather than order numbers, they called someone’s similar name whilst showing my number (some confusion)

Used it for the first time today but unfortunately when a tried to order a Korean burger meal, it wouldn’t let me know complete it because it kept asking me to choose my burger type but it was already selected as the Korean burger. Had to order items individually in the end. Also it wouldn’t complete with Apple Pay. Had to input card details in the end

Some basic app functionality missing

Not used in store yet but already just by flicking through the menu there’s some basic stuff missing.

Why no swiping to change to different sections or go back to main page?

Why no basic filter to sort through the menu quickly? vegan or gluten free etc.

Can’t see a save list for favourite stores either.

Shame developers need to be told these things.

I love Leon and would like to see your app reflecting the quality of your food.

Surprisingly no Apple Pay and card entry details didn’t pull in saved details from safari. Payment also failed anyway so had to use the terminals in store. Unusable for me.
