Can’t even give this business money
I would love to give everlast some of my money to use the gym but I cant figure out how. I’ve used both apps and the website and tried multiple times to pay to use the gym and I just go around in circles and hit dead ends constantly. A business that has made it impossible for me to give them money. You literally couldn’t be running a business any worse than this.

How not to write an app
If any developers want to know how it to write an app then this is the one to check out. What a disaster.

Works but not great
App logs out and asks randomly for username and password with no option to use Face Id. Sometimes it uses FaceId.
Dates and sessions loads very slow and not very intutive i.e. takes sometime to get use to booking classes.

Michelle Sullivan abusive lying trainer AVOID everlast
My membership was terminated Everlast Leigh because I complained about the abuse I suffered from the trainer Michelle Sullivan. I receive an email as shown below ….. Dave unfortunately, I will not be re-instating your membership back at the Leigh Fitness Club, as it would appear despite the General Manager giving you various opportunities to comply with our Code of Conduct and Club Membership Terms and Conditions, you have failed to align with these rules, which has led me to this final decision. The General Manager has also informed me, that the police have advised the club, that your membership be terminated with immediate effect. ……………………….. No various opportunities to comply with there Code of Conduct and Club Membership Terms and Conditions, was ever mentioned to me. I conducted myself the same as any other member so I did NOT fail to align with their rules. I contacted the police and they know absolutely nothing about a gym membership, and they have never been contacted by anyone from the gym. So there was never an investigation into me, even though the lying manager told me that there was an investigation from the police. And the police never advised the gym to terminate my membership as proven below….. I received this email from the police…. Thank you for contacting Greater Manchester police , If something had been reported to police , someone would have been in contact with you , I can't see anything where police have advised the Gym to cancel your membership . However that is up to the discretion of the gym who they have as a member and would not be a police matter . …..……. I am horrified and disgusted by this Gym management Joe and Penny and the unprofessional lying staff. The police email alone proves that gym management and staff have lied. Considering the fact I did nothing wrong at all, I will leave it up to the reader to arrive at a judgement, or opinion, by trying to reason why gym managers did what they have done. Basically you are not allowed to make a complaint, because if you do they will lie about you and terminate your membership. I have received many messages from gym members, telling me that I’m really missed in the gym. Thank you for that.

No way of telling how busy my gym is at all. Some of them have it apparently but not all. Essentially useless app

Hardly works
The app idea is good but it has lots of problems. It does not always remember log in details and when you try to read messages you get an ‘access denied’ message. It shows that you’re on a waiting list then you get an email saying you’re booked onto a class. It says you can cancel a class with one hours notice but when you try it does let you.

can’t read messages without it crashing or opening the main site (what’s the point of the app if you can’t even check messages on there?) used to show how busy the gym was but that feature is gone and no way to book a PT. really awful app

Too many glitches
Such an annoying app. You get a notification that a class has space but can’t book, can’t cancel. Waiting lists don’t work.

Useless App
The app doesn’t work, they had a great app and then changed to this!?!?! It wants you to log in every time then takes you to web page outside app. If you select done you go back to images which you cannot select or a blank frame. No way of managing your account via app or getting local gym info. Scrap app, sack developer, get money back and reinstate old app.

Could do with gym capacity
Good app all round, easy to use, get QR code and book classes. But one thing that other gym apps have and this one does not is gym capacity so you can check how busy your gym is.

Good but rarely works
The idea behind the app is great and makes life much easier for booking classes, getting your barcode to swipe into the gym etc. But it frequently freezes and won’t load, or the Book Classes button doesn’t work, or you sign up for a class and it doesn’t register. Frustrating at times, but if it worked properly it would be excellent.

Really dislike it - not user friendly at all…
I really don’t like this app. It keeps telling me I have loads of unread emails and when I try to read them, it makes me sign in again, accept cookies again (can we just do this once?!) and the. Tells me my access is denied. Please do something about it. The rest of the reviews are saying the same thing. It’s an horrendous app.

Rubbish app
Gosh this app is frustrating, makes me log in every time with full username and password and it’s so basic - like someone has just started designing the basic layout then never come back to it.

It wont work at all
When I open the app, all I am given is a blank white screen. No matter how long I wait, it wont change. I have deleted and redownloaded the app, logged in, only to find later on it would do the same thing

I’d LOVE to see the QR code for entry into the gym be added as an apple wallet function. It’d be so much easier to get to rather than entering the app.

Garbage!
This app needs a lot of work. It is extremely buggy and never opens on my iPhone12. If I want to book a class I have to delete and reinstall at least once to get it to open. I can’t believe I pay £40 a month for a crap app and a gym with no air con. A joke guys.

I have to login every time I get to the gym and want to scan my QR code. The app moves around the screen. The navigation is poor and overall much worse than the last version.

Error after error
Downloading the new app hasn’t worked. Can’t reset password, says to contact administrator. Shame that the only contact details for customer service thst I can find are in Canada.

Bad app step in the wrong direction
The new app is difficult and slow to use, it no longer has the gym capacity counter. It works like a clunky website rather than how most apps work. I would imagine the positive reviews are from workers at Everlast giving their “honest” feedback. Will only use as no other option.

Terrible what have you done?!
Old app was straight forward and worked. Booking classes was a breeze, then all listed in one place. Capacity counter was helpful too and my gym card loaded for scanning easy.
New app, looks a mess, defaults to the wrong gym (two where I live mine was a DW take over) it’s hard to book classes and see what’s on. Never works when I need it to. Ie when need my gym card.
Absolutely rubbish And cheap looking - as would you expect from Everlast.

The app works like a dream, very easy to use and navigate around to get what you want from booking classes to freezing my account. I feel as though I have full control of my membership which I like.

Needs Apple Watch compatibility
Good app, much better than the previous. Would be great if we could get Face ID added so I don’t have to keep signing in and also Apple Watch compatibility so that we could get our QR code on Watch to log in so don’t always have to have your phone with you!

Not ready for use
The previous app wasn’t great but it as a bit more intuitive than this one. The UI doesn’t seem to follow even some basic design principles and the user experience is poor, user journeys are not obvious and unexpected. All in it seems like a bit of a mess and could be much improved, which I hope will come in time.

Try harder
Doesn’t keep you logged in. Doesn’t use FaceID.
So you get to the gym and have to go through the whole login routine to get through the turnstile.
Ended up using a screenshot of my scan code instead.
C’mon people, this is basic stuff. Please make this app worthwhile!!

User name?
I downloaded the “app” and it asks me to log in with user name and password, which I have no idea even if I have one, and considering there’s no “sign in” or anything else where you can insert your name so the “app” can find your username for you, I deleted it. Not really user friendly is it?

Badly designed
The old app was so much better and easy to use and see classes available. I was expecting this one to be even better when in fact it’s awful and badly designed. I haven’t used the gym since the app went down because the website was rubbish and now we have this which is even worse 🙄.

Disappointing “App”
Have to log in every single time I use “app”, very inconvenient, not user friendly. No single place I can see all classes I’m signed up for. Why waste so much space on Refer a Friend? And the “app” is just a portal to the website, nothing interesting, helpful or unique. The website design is bad enough, why pay for a useless “app” that isn’t even an app? Must do better, folks.

It’s not an app it’s a web link which we could already do.
We should not be getting logged out periodically.
We should be able to login with Face ID if it’s an actual app
We should not be getting asked to accept cookies multiple times.
We need a feature to easily track gym facilities usage, date and time spent. Every other uk big gym has a usage section.
Poor excuse of an app delivering NOTHING to the user experience.

Doesn’t work on iPhone Max
The app doesn’t work on an iPhone 12 Pro Max as the responsiveness of the web-based app hides key buttons like ‘Show my QR code’ which you need to get into the gym. With the website you can tilt your phone and the buttons then appear, but you can’t do that on the app and therefore it’s useless. You can’t find the QR code from the menu button either, only the main button on the homepage, therefore there’s no way for me to get into my gym with this app hence the 1 star.
Update: I’ve changed to 3 stars as received a message from devs saying it’ll be fixed. I’ll amend this review once change happens.

Graphic Tiling Issue on large screen phones
On my iPhone 12 Max, there seems to be an issue with the graphic tiling on the club dashboard, which means you don't see any of the graphic buttons and so can't (for example) access the QR Codes to enter the gym.
Its fine on my smaller screened work phone and on the web site I get the same sort of issue till I rotate the phone into landscape.
Please a) fix this and b) in future expand testing to check all screen sizes.

Internet based app
Everlast had recently changed the system! It’s has took a while to get the app working working/updated again. You have to log in everytime you access it and the system doesn’t allow you to see all the classes you have booked in for. Also I’ve book into some classes that day approved and other that still require “sign In” even though I’m already booked. The old app was much more of a function APP and not an internet based functioning app.
