Does not work
I received a message from Toyota the other day telling me to upgrade to this new version. It does not work. It actually shows a car I sold (back to Yoyota) over a year ago. I will stay with the previous version.

Remote services no longer available.
I’ve received the in app message on the old app to migrate to the new app for my Yaris cross tech pack. Now in the new app half the services are missing. I can no longer lock or unlock the car and check the alarm is armed nor can I pre set the climate control from my phone. New app for better service yet most services are no longer available

Disappointing!
I was prompted to download this App as an update to my existing one to find that I am now without the ‘Car Status’ information; basically, I no longer can see if my car doors are locked/unlocked. Most frustrating. I have spent considerable time trying to identify why this is the case but to no avail and have emailed the App help administrators for assistance. Is this just myself experiencing this issue or is it a common problem?

Do not download new app
I received an alert to download the new app today and the old one will stop working( should of just ignored that message). The new app is useless as I am not able to use any of the functions that was available in the old app such as climate control etc. This is a new car so the app function should of been working

Hit and miss
App is a bit glitchy, it doesn’t update the build process and doesn’t load all previous trip data.

Trips missing
Would be good but keeps failing to record trips. Would say approx 1/3 of journeys not recorded so makes it useless for keeping tab on fuel economy.

MyT New and worse than old app
Old app was fine. This version has no remote services available for Yaris 2020. Used to be able to remotely activate climate control. No remote action available even tho fully subscribed. Wish developers could just get out of their sandbox and speak to end users on what’s good/bad.

Why two apps
I’m waiting for my Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid to be delivered. Thought I’d get the app. First confusion is which to use - there are two listed on the App Store! Why is this?

When will the app be available for a 21 plate Yaris Hybrid, as it doesn’t like my VIN number

Missing features - Updated
Installed the app after getting an email. I have no remote services, some connected services missing. Contacted MyToyota over a week ago and still waiting for a reply. Luckily the old app still working.
Update - MyToyota must have looked at my issue because I now have remote services. The connected services is still missing ’send to car’ but this never worked on the old app with the Toyota connect system so maybe they have dropped it. The hybrid coaching is presented better but you don’t get any explanation of the red and green symbols on the map with regards to braking and acceleration like you could on the old app. There is also no way of downloading a report of your trips. Maybe this will be rectified in a future update. Also still getting missing trips as in the old app. I think the new app is clearer. Upgraded the app to 4 stars.

No new features?
Migration from the old app to the new app was reasonably straight forward. I did find I had to unlink my phone/key in my Smart Connect profile in order to generate the required QR code. Just logging off and back in wasn’t enough to make this appear. I’ve not discovered any new features yet, just cosmetic differences. It also got the year wrong on my car; stating 2021 instead of 2022. My car is a Yaris Cross with Smart Connect infotainment system. One retrograde is that past journey details only go back for one month.

Not clear if UK users should be using this app or the other MyT ?
Plus this App refuses to send a verification text.

Misleading
My car is a Aygo X exclusive which Toyota says from this model I should have basic remote climate control for which this is one of the reasons I purchased the car but so far it does not 😡Also the images shown for the app are misleading, as shown is a Aygo X air edition (picture of car) and the car/app has NO information on weather the rear windows are open or closed.
