constant self promotion, lacking in-depth information it purports to be;
to login you need to be a member, yet there are constant reminders to become a member.
the gardening advice is on the level of Teletubbies or Gardening world for bored housewives or househusbands.
the app itself is not returning to the pages you were reading after you used one of their links.

Great tips
Excellent to have tips at the appropriate time of the year when jobs need doing. Will sort out my grasses now and check my climbing and rambling roses.

Frustrating
App needs improvements . It constantly sends me articles to click on and read and then every time I do, tells me I’m not eligible to read them as I’m not a member, despite the fact that I do have a membership.
As the RHS insists on us booking our visits , it would also be helpful to be able to book visiting slots on the app. That way, most of the booking could be done with auto fill instead of us having to waste time typing everything in on the website for every visit.
The app could also be used to order food & drinks if the necessary adjustments were made. As it stands, the app isn’t really a great deal of use .

Deep winter gardening by RHS experts
Just listened to this podcasts. It was both interesting & informative. The topics covered were varied & the RHS gardeners waxing lyrically about the passions in their particular gardens really whetts your appetite to visit. 👍🤗👩🌾

Such a wealth of relevant and timely knowledge. Articles that are useful and interesting. A must have for all gardeners.

Great app but needs cosmetic tweaks
Just found out about the app, and overall I like it.
It means I can ditch the ever increasing pile of paper copies of the magazine, that I have kept as a reference source.
As to the magazine part of the app, it needs some cosmetic tweaks, so that you can view the whole page without scrolling. Either reduce the page size (not the best option), or have the header bar at the top, and the toolbar at the bottom, disappear and reappear when you tap the page (the best option). Do this and you get 5 stars from me.

Absolutely fantastic app
Well done RHS developers for this fantastic app. Full of everything you need all in one place.
Hopefully:
The printed magazine will become ‘optional’ next time I renew and can see the new copy in app (better for the environment and cheaper production costs).
Fingers crossed that ‘digital’ membership cards will be incorporated along with vouchers (for food etc) to encourage additional visits plus ‘in the garden/what’s happening now’ info from all 5 gardens to encourage people to visit the sites more frequently.
I’d Love to see more ‘meet the team behind the gardens’ too.
