Great!

Works well, loads GPX files correctly, navigation is clear, UI makes sense!
One slight issue is that the navigation instruction voice does text-to-speech in your phone's language, including street names - those become almost impossible to understand if you're in a foreign country. It would be great if the app could read the street names in the language of the country you're in - however, an easy workaround is to change the app's language from Settings.

No CarPlay Support

Great app and displayed nicely for motorcycles but without CarPlay support. I won’t be able to use this until CarPlay becomes available.

CarPlay would make it even better

I tried it on a few rides and works great, but unfortunately until Apple CarPlay support is missing, I won't use this app as my daily driver.
I like the route planning options with the added waypoints and the gpx import. These make it stand out from the competition.

Under development, but shows promise

Firstly, Needs CarPlay Support. There’s a few motorcycle CP devices coming on the market now, and this would be a big win for the app. Don’t mind if you put it behind a one off unlock payment.
Apart from that, routing is good, ability to save and import GPX is decent. I wish the app worked better offline - it tends to whinge when you haven’t got coverage, and that’s a common occurrence when you’re heading through the MFN.
One presume when this app is finished it’ll have some kind of charge associated with it, and an offline mode will become available. Again, I’m fine with that - it seems to be headed in the right direction.

Not great

Could be a good app if it didn’t keep routing through town/city centres. Have tried to use it a few times but rather than go round towns/city’s it took me straight through the middle hitting traffic and lots of traffic lights 😐

App stops

In Spain at the moment and sometimes the app freezes, you have to and clear the app and start again. Will keep trying the app to see how it works.

Needs to work with CarPlay

Very impressed with this navigation app. Having used many over the years on my motorbikes, this is the quickest and most intuitive to use especially when out and about. Sharing routes between friends is very good too.
However, I like a lot of riders, are moving on to CarPlay devices on bikes.
If this functionality could be incorporated in the next update it would be an absolute game changer!!

I am unable to change the km o miles

I am unable to change the km o miles. Changed in settings - but on the free ride still shows km/h. App deleted and reinstalled. Still not working properly. No use in UK for the speed control

TomTom go Ride

I have an Honda Africa Twin with CarPlay, but I’m not going to use the go Ride app as it really needs to be CarPlay compatible, such a shame as TomTom is a great sat nav.

‘Reverse route’

Excellent App but how about a ‘reverse route’ option? Maybe it’s there and I’m missing it, if not it would be an excellent addition. I often ride out to somewhere and want to ‘come home’ using the same route. Just pick a saved route and provide a ‘reverse route’ option…

Every time I import a gpx file it says cannot find a way there and won’t let me navigate. If you don’t want to use gpx files it works but so does google maps

Lots of promise and working well

This definitely has the potential to become a go-to navigator if you like things to be simple but very effective. It’s doing a great job of finding interesting routes between places, and its display is a model of clarity and ease of use.
It’s an improvement over standard navigation apps because of its ability to find “fast” or “thrilling” routes but it’s still just as way to use.
There are some features not yet implemented - looks like speed camera alerts are coming soon, but it is missing the ability to keep a library of favourite destinations, and I’ve not seen any mention of traffic avoidance. It does seem to route around closed roads pretty well, though. I’d like CarPlay support as this is now standard on some bikes and there are CarPlay display accessories for others.
I’d say this app will be staying on my phone and probably becoming my main navigator when touring or on fun rides.

Tomtom go ride app

This app is amazing for all of you straight rides to the best twistiest roads in England . I love it because it uses all the exciting lanes . It’s very clear too . You can enjoy the roads more even if your on your own . LOVE IT SO MUCH

Basic

So, as a rider, I thought of giving this app a go.
The routes are good and you can customise them, plus they are free.
What let’s this down is
The ability to find the address of a place (i.e. Honda motorcycles)
The voice instructions are terrible. And the voice itself is awful
First half of the first word I can’t even make out
Why say turn right on a roundabout then 2nd exit. This is straight over
It may be better if one has a quad lock or similar where you can see the route, but if the phone is on the pocket and just listening to the directions, this needs a lot to improve
And as mentioned from others, no speed camera notifications

On its way, but lacks a few essentials

It’s got some nice features, such as the GPX import which works nicely for pre-planned routes. However, it’s missing some essentials that are present in TomTom’s other apps such as Amigo (and their primary competitors) - most significant being speed camera locations and average speed zone monitoring. Not talking about the mobile police reports - there’s no fixed location cameras included. Decent WIP release, but needs a little cross-pollination from Amigo to make it great.
Update [3/8/2023] : Latest build seems to have some issues with the voice directions not starting playing correctly - the first portion of a spoken direction often doesn’t play through Bluetooth (not a problem with the headset, as other nav apps work fine).

No speed cameras & tracking

Great looking app but speed cameras are essential these days so 2 ⭐️⭐️’s deducted. Also motorcycling apps need tracking so you can keep a record of where the good roads are. I tried Amigo for the speed cameras and it’s also a great looking app BUT… it’s incredibly power hungry, my quad lock wireless charger can’t keep up with it. if you sorted this out and combined it with tom-tom GO ride and added tracking, you’d have a winner !!

Startup Location Always incorrect

Looks a good app in the future until they’re able to fix the issues already reported, specially your initial location that always shows Amsterdam even when you’re in a different country!!

Quick & Easy to use

Great app for planning routes 👍
Fastest or Super Twisty 😎
I use it to build up a route with multiple waypoints.
The saved route can then be sent to my Rider 550, via the MyDrive app and wifi 😊
Improvements:
- It would be good if it could also list My Places as well as My Routes from your account.
- If it was listed as a Navigation app within What3Words, that would be perfect 🤩
