8th Wonder?

I love playing around with art apps but most offer very similar services and results aren’t always as good as promised.

This app has blown my mind. It’s so fun discovering what I can inspire in the AI from different scenarios. “Man witnessing God” created some fascinating images!

Devs ~ proper special. I am wondering if I could create a whole story board, if I can get the images close enough.

This is horrible!!

Seen this app advertised all over my tiktok and other socials. So I decided to download it. When I downloaded the app it first made me watch an add which I’m used to but then to do anything and everything it requires an add. When I searched something it said “in queue” and has for the past 2 hours. Don’t download it. If I could I’d give it 0 stars

It’s amazing technology but a lot of the ones I’ve tried bring up results that miss detail and look like their off google images.

Unless your an artist looking for inspiration probably not worth the £20 per month!

Creative fun

I love this app, having just bought a large iPad Pro, I’m impressed at how the images look on the page. I’m enjoying the new feature where you can add your own image as a basis. Lots of new wallpapers for my iPhone and iPad! Not sure about animate though, yet.

Cool but some ads break the app

It's pretty good at text-to-image rendering but the prompt "frozen flame" seems to be too much for it to handle.

Also there's an ad, "watt" I believe, that breaks the app and forces to me to quit the app and reboot over and over until I stop getting the ad. The issue is the (X) box to exit the app once the timer is complete is positioned in an inaccessible point on my iPhone 14 pro. It is positioned in the same place as the time is displayed at the very top left meaning I can't actually interact with it thus forcing me to quit the app.

Is very good, however I’ve found myself constantly watching 30 seconds of ads between each image, and half the time, the image leaves me underwhelmed and disappointed. Not only that however you can only make 3/5 pictures a day, why would anyone would set a limit is beyond me; it’s a terrible decision as I could not only see this putting people off using the app but I can also see the developers making Less money as the user watches less adds. Overall, it’s good if you are only looking to get 1 image. It is good if you are willing to pay £4.99 a week or £25.99 as this removes ads and gives you infinite images. But it’s only ok if you are looking to get 5 or more images.

I selected a prompt, and a style then clicked then “create (see ad)” button, which showed me an ad… then dropped me back to the same menu, without showing me the created image.

But this time it said “create” without the (see ad) text… and it took me to…. An ad.

This is not how a free app with ads should work.

Hats off to the developers, after the last amazing update the app is as perfect as it gets! The searches are head and shoulders better than the competition, the new look is professional and the ability to import your own images makes this app a no brainer.

Also the image ratio is perfect now and 3 results per search is very welcome. They listened to users and fixed everything. Please don’t change a thing, the app is now complete. A five star rating all day long. Superb!!

It makes you want to add this to create something and you only have a daily create thing. So it shows the Wonder symbol underneath which is annoying when you’re trying to save it as a profile picture of the something. It makes you pay for way too many things and personally I don’t like that.

Reasonably fun, just about worth the £25 in its current state

Looking down the one star reviews I think most of those people don’t really understand the current state of the art with AI generated imagery.

To be fair if you’re using the free version I can see how it might get irritating that you can’t get very far before you’ve used your daily limit.

In its current state it only generates 1024x1024 images, and whilst you might be able to upscale them with such as Gigapixel it can still be limiting if you want to crop the image to a different aspect; it would be a nice development if you could specify ratio and indeed a higher resolution.

At the end of the day though for £25 you’re probably not going to get much more than a toy; if it’s professional grade AI image generation you’re looking for then you’re talking about Midjourney for £10/month, not a cheap phone app.

For those who left negative reviews about the paywall/ads. Keep in mind ads pay to run the servers, running AI server side isn’t cheap AT ALL!! don’t be a free loader… if you’re gonna be a little girl about it, how about you go and make your own AI? And then we’ll see how much money it’s actually costing the devs… The devs have been so generous to offer lifetime option unlike other apps which ask for monthly/yearly payments. Show some damn respect and stop with the attitudes because it’s not “free”…

Tldr; ads pay for the servers/generations. And it’s not a scam. Don’t listen to those people if you’re reading this.

Perhaps not as good as Dall-e or Midjournal (what I've seen) but very good since there isn't a wait list. Takes some tries to find the right wording of what you want but comes up with decent ideas. It even recognises popular culture like anime.

Great fun app

I went pro with the lifetime price and it’s 1,000 times better than the trial version. I must admit some of the quality isn’t as good as other AI art generators but it’s great value and some of the outcomes are funny, plus with the right combinations you can get some really good art.

You have to watch an ad for 2 results. The premium says “faster processing time”, but the app is just slowing down the processing time on purpose because they images are obviously already loaded. The technology is unbelievable and I’m having so much fun, BUT I’d love to have more canvas sizes available as quite often it cuts off parts of the image that I really want it to develop like heads and such. Also, I’d love the option to input a guide image.

Poor quality and unimaginative images that mostly bear little resemblance to even very short text requests. I’ve seen so much better online, outside of the app format. This app mainly just produces random images smooshed together in silly and un-artistic ways. And excessive mandatory ad-watching to go with it, unless you want to pay the ridiculously high recurring fee, which surely nobody would want to do - ever.

From the images that I’ve got, it seems that this app is not so much an A.I. creating them from scratch, but more like an image search engine that then applies a poor man’s version of a Photoshop filter to get your result. Even if you love watching those ridiculous ‘Play a game to make millions’ style ads, you’ll still not think the ad time is worth the image generated. Avoid!

Excellent- but a way to go to perfect

I really this app to even say this is my favourite app so far. The only things is the A.I has got to do better with human figures because they double up on the images and the hands and feet look deformed like on poser software when setting high and low perimeters. All in all flipin awesome - but please sort that out and maybe landscape version too that would be fantastic.

Basic and abstract

I tried this app while looking whether the amazing Midjourney existed in the App Store, so that’s what I was comparing to. It’s nowhere near even being in the same ballpark. But even if not comparing, it generates such abstract images that you can hardly see the resemblance to your instructions. I mostly tried simple ones with 2-4 words. Asking you to apply a style also feels like a cheat because instead of the AI being creative it just applies pre-canned elements from that style. I’d far rather pay £10/month for Midjourney and get its mind blowing results - but I realise it’s not as easily usable as an app for most people

So following from the in app prompt to leave a review, I’ll ask the same questions I have already asked and received no reply for . I’ll happily update my review but for now I’d like to understand why the export is such low quality ? it should be 4k resolution for the monthly subscription price you are asking for…… the export quality is simply not good enough for any serious use. Also no ability to select export ratios so largely useless for most platforms, and as the export quality is so poor cropping is useless as it just looks terrible like something from 2008.

So I love the idea and potential of this app but it’s useless at the moment for anyone trying to do serious creativity
