way too difficult and unfair, og shadow fight was perfect and they’ve somehow ruined it, AI is way to hard, and “upgrading gear and changing strategies” as you said is not enough

your just playing the same fight over and over until you win
progression takes ages
and again like all shadow fights,the npcs are impossible to get past
(bosses) and the other enemies are also hard
also you will have close to the same health you had on the next fight so you will end up going into a fight with 10% of your health after all them rounds then to get absolutely battered by your opponent

This was one of the most iconic games yet the weapons are recycled none of the unusable moves were buffed horrible attacks stayed the same ai just button read and only three choices each act for weapons is horrible the buffs you can select some are useless

Extremely sluggish
As per the title, the game is extremely sluggish as in how your character moves and performs, close attacks and manoeuvres are very late and it just seems like the character is constantly constipated whilst the enemies are normal, I understand it has to be a survival style combat experience but making the opponents tougher rather than the player extremely sluggish is a better choice.

Game is ok, but too grindy and glitchy
I’ve played since shadow fight 2 days and don’t mind the constant grind as long as there’s other stuff to do.
However, recently the events tab was removed which leaves me stuck doing the same boss fight over and over again who is too strong for me to defeat.

Shadow fight 2 was better
I don’t understand how nekki managed to fumble a sequel this hard like this game is so boring and it’s literally a copy and paste form the first one except 10x boring because everything is just re used and re added, so much content that you could’ve used from shadow fight 2 just got replaced with garbage because the first one was way more fun because there was variety unlike this game which basically gives u two modes to play which is the story or duels like what. Stuck to using one weapon in each chapter, hard to progress and the list goes on. Stop focusing on pay to win and focus on what the players want because in the first one you clearly did something right so why fumble it in the sequel

Amazing concept, Horrible execution
Love the idea of the game but i mean come on how are you supposed to beat this. The bad balancing in this game is honestly impressive and if you get put in a combo you can expect to lose 80% of your health within 3 hits (this could happen with literally every opponent). Truly feels like your playing a luck based game instead of a skillful battle, sometimes you knock out your opponent in 1 blow and the other times the ai goes on a rampage and kills you with 3 hits 10 seconds into a fight. It would be better if you actually got some better resources instead of resort to bad equipment or pump money into the game to actually enjoy it. This is a complete disgrace to sf2 and its sad to see what it has become. If you don’t fix the issues listed then i cant give this game anything but 2 stars and i think alot of others can relate

Dead Game?
Was fun at first. Development seems to have slowed down significantly. Not much to do other than events after you complete the story mode. The game needs new content other than these money grabbing events and I feel like the game had been out long enough for it. Seems lazy from the developers and to be honest it seems like we have taken a step back from SF2.

Buggy, but functional game
Previously I complained about the strength of AI, but it’s just a skill issue with me, and I agree. But the shades system is utter stupidity… especially in the events you can really feel it - they give you 20% Magic Damage boost, but you wouldn’t even have magic…. Same with Act 1 where you don’t even have access to magic, but there are magic related shades… like why? And the rewards for playing the main acts are inconsistent af… sometimes I finish the whole act and I get 1-2 common items, other times I lose on round 2 and I get 5 items. Like make it progressive - get more rewards the more you win? And the temple healing is pure evil - sometimes it comes at round 4 when I have full health, and sometimes it never comes until the end of round 9. At least make the game consistent, and have like a discord server to test this game for bugs and ask people to volunteer for it, like you did for SF4. I like the concept and the new stories, but unfortunately, it’s a game and not a comic book

FIX YOUR GAME ITS REALLY RIGGED
If I miss by just abit it doesn’t count but when the ai hits it feels like I’ve just been BUMMED. I’ve spent an hour upgrading and trying to beat just the second level! Don’t understand why it’s so hard to beat just the second level. So frustrating please fix your game I’ve tried so many more weapons

Feels nostalgic
It feels nostalgic like i was playing the first shadow fight but I really miss the old vibe of how you could play with real players and join the clan and fight a boss. Is there any chance it is coming back?

Shades or shadow fight… still the same
The game overall since they made the first game hasn’t improved much. Storyline and other mechanics are looking polished. But, the main mechanics of the game which is fighting!! Is terrible. Would’ve hoped they would have learnt something over 10 years. Sadly, don’t think so

I’ve also noticed a few issues with I frames and hitboxes not working in some animations? Eg flip off the wall or lynx using his invis, would be good to see this removed as it gets confusing, thank you 💜

I can’t play any games in it anymore, as whenever I press the start game button, nothing happens. This has been happening for a while now, so I think something needs to be fixed. Would be great if this could happen, as I love this game.

Its too short!!
Its nice to have shadow world back with new contents but its too short and so many weapons and enemies from SF2 are missing which i hope will be added with new updates and most importantly there should be more ACTs for story with just 3 acts so far its not satisfying.

Responsiveness and Ads
It’s a great game as well as an excellent addition to the continuation of the original game, and am looking very forward to its future development and expansion. However the game is somewhat difficult to play, it lacks the excellent responsiveness that sf2 gave, like how if I double tap the punch button instead of the special attack it die the single or heavy attack, or how when I try to do the double leg sweep the character instead just ducks and the same goes for the head kick he just jumps up. Also the ads, some of the ads play only to not give a reward and then I’d have to play a 2nd add, and most of times the ads just close down the game completely. Please fix these, especially the ad problems. Thank you.

Great Game, some bugs
Game is great, animations are updated from shadow fight 2, however ads don’t work. When i want to watch an ad to open a chest i watch the whole ad and then it doesn’t let me claim the chest however many times i watch the ad(even 3 in a row won’t work) and same for revives when you try to revive after a level it won’t let you however many times you watch a video, the counter will keep going down.
sound quality hasn’t improved, clearly has just been taken from the old game (more noticeable with headphones). would be nice to have an updated backing track to the fights

Amazing as always but only a few problems
The game feels incredible and is just like as if I were playing Shadow Fight 2, but there’s a few bugs I’ve ran across such as ads not giving rewards, not being able to connect to the online mode despite being connected to the internet. I’m glad this game got created and I hope the development of this game is even better.

Fun game but gets boring quickly
Fun game to play here and there on your mobile device however gets boring very quickly and there isn’t too much variety in what goes on. The biggest issue is the repetitive upgrading in order to progress and the game feels unfair majority of the time until you upgrade your character to a certain point where you steamroll the levels
Another big issue is the fact that even after watching the ad multiple times you still won’t be granted your reward which is why I put the review so low. Really not cool especially when I’ve read that it’s a reported issue

Problem with ad rewards
The gameplay is fine in my opinion but the ads for rewards don’t always count. It is usually the ads without the 30 second timer that don’t count but not always true.

Poor use of ads
The game is fair - you just farm over and over and over again getting no real rewards meaning you have to play the same acts over and over until you have enough parts to fuse. And repeat.
The biggest issue with this game is the terrible use of ads. Want a chest that will contain a low quality part - watch an ad - however when you watch that ad, you don’t get the part, so you watch another, and another, and another. I am current 6 ads in for one chest and it won’t give me anything - just makes me watch another ad. Absolute joke.
Uninstalled as cba with watching ads over actually playing a boring game anyway.

Its just a copy
This game has only the original shadow fight 2 weapons and the only change i see so far are the levelling up system and the SEVERELY OVERPOWERED enemy reaction time. Enemies get infinite ranged weapons and yet you only get 1 that takes 10 seconds to recharge?
Even the backgrounds are from shadow fight 2 and the game feels very rushed and just a lazy copy of the original game.

Been waiting for so long for another proper shadow fight game with all the recent ones trying to look realistic(and being laggy and choppy gameplay due to the graphics) it’s just not the same as the og Shadow Fight 2, played all through the paid and the free version it’s the only mobile game I’ve ever fully enjoyed so thank you nekki for listening to the fans and bringing it back to routes don’t fix what’s broken just make more of it!!

Terrible
Avoid like the plague. I don’t understand how they can go from a fluid combat system like SF: Arena and then totally regress with this game. Characters feel unresponsive to put it lightly. I understand the game is brand new but I don’t see this game getting much better combat wise.

Even worse than SF2.
Why the heck does the darn shadow get RIGHT BACK UP the moment it's knocked down by the enemy's remote attack?
The enemy always seems to find some darn easy escape route, even when we've hit them square in the face. They're TOTALLY UNSCATHED sometimes – not a scratch!
And to top it off, they keep relentlessly throwing those darn darts when the shadow is steps away from them. Please STOP ALWAYS throwing the fk dart

I’ve been very excited to play this game and I haven’t been too disappointed so far. The new story seems very intriguing and I like the new addition of the comics. Only 3 stars rating because the game is pretty buggy and I’ve had to close and reopen it a few times already but this is understandable as it just released today so it was bound to have a few bugs.
