Best iPhone game ever

Genuinely, the most gripping and entertaining game I have played on my phone. The storyline keeps you invested, played through the first two episode in a day. No ads, interactive, thought provoking and incredible!

Though I did pay to have ad-free hint, that’s the only ads you have in this game and they are optional.

If you’re looking for an immersive story game, PLEASE download this! I’ve told all my friends about it, now we’re all theorising together waiting for Ep 3!

Immersive game

I love this game and everything about it, the setting, the story, the characters. Judging that the game was made by 3 people, it is really easy to realise that they put so much effort into the game. I hope episode three and future episodes can come really soon as the current episodes are leaving me on big cliff hangers.

Mind blowing.

This game is absolutely insane. It has everything you could want in a game like this. Suspense, shock, fear, cliff hangers and all the above. I was shocked this game was made by three people. You can just tell how much time and effort they’ve put into making this! Can’t wait for episode 3!! The episodes are really long too, so it keeps you entertained for hours. Plus, after between or after you’ve finished the first 2 episodes, they’re are sidetrails that’s you can complete! This is a great time-killsr if your looking for something dark and mysterious that keeps you constantly on edge, with hundreds of shocking turns and tons of fun! It also gives your brain a workout cracking those riddles!! Huge shout out to the developers..this game is one of my favourite games now. ❤️

Excellent Mystery

I’m really enjoying this game so far. You have to solve the mysterious disappearance of a young girl by interacting with her friends and using various resources to gather evidence. There are hints when you get stuck and you’re not bombarded by ads at all, which is a huge plus. I really couldn’t recommend this game enough and can’t wait to work out what happened and why…

Best game I have ever played!!!

I have played a lot of games trying to find the perfect game, bur they all have tons of adds, or you need to pay a huge amount just to remove them, but then I get bored after only like an hour. But this game is far from that! Although the game doesn’t last for ever it does not once get boring, and you don’t need to pay! Yes, there are a couple of ads, but only to get hints, and not every second of the game. You can tell that the creators put a lot of effort into this game, making the phones as realistic as possible, and even making the voices of the characters seem realistic and not like the crappy A.I generated voices. If your into role play games, or mystery games, or love detective tv shows and want to play a game to pass your time, I really recommend An Elmwood trail. It’s such a creative concept and also gets your brain working. I hate games that you need to pay for, but this is the sorta game I would.

Wow my style

If you are looking for a murder mystery game to play then this is the perfect one. It has hardly any adds and the hints are good. The hints don’t tell you the answer but it says what you need to do in a more easier way. This game is so addictive and unique and mysterious. Also like a true detective would it takes you quite a while to understand. I’ve been on it since yesterday (probably 5 hours in total) and have only made it a quater way there. It feels so real as well!

This game is one of the best I’ve ever played. I highly recommend it! 😃♥️

This game OMG is amazing if you like crime thriller you will love this I didn’t know that I did until I started playing I am addicted you can buy 3 side quests for £6.99 or get rid of adds from everywhere for a pound more it’s such a good game you don’t need to buy anything for it you use adds to get hints and the hints are always free I can’t believe I finished so soon can’t wait till chapter 3 comes out. I suggest this game to everyone it’s really entertaining. Best game I have ever played.

This game was a lot of fun to play, the setup, gameplay and overall atmosphere was amazing. I’ve never seen anything like this game and wish there was more! My only issue is the first hint is obvious and doesn’t help, but it really doesn’t bother me too much.

AMAZING GAME

I downloaded this game only last night as it looked super interesting (I’m a fan of true crime/fictional crime stories or games) but I am loving it so far, it’s super easy to navigate, it keeps you engaged in the story, always making you wonder what’s going to happen next, gives you the option to ask for hints if you’re stuck, the game is very well made and just overall so fun and addicting! I can’t stop playing this game, I love that you can switch back and forth from Detective Adam Lane’s phone to Zoey’s phone and his work desk! Such a cool concept in the game. Please keep up the great work developers!

I love detective games and stories and so far this one has captured my attention. Usually I can tell quite quickly whether I am reading or playing, if I’m going to be interested in what happens and lately it’s been hard to find any good mysteries so this is refreshing. Downloaded this game without any expectations, after starting and seeing the unusual concept I thought it would be text heavy and full. Far from it! The conversations are interesting, the clues are clever and the story has me gripped. Congratulations to the team on a fantastic game and roll on the next instalment!

One small thing to amend as a suggestion: chapter 1 voice notes, can you add subtitles for people like me that play with the sound off? Thank you! 🙏🏻

Such a good game i like that you have to actually figure things out unlike some of the other games out there similar to this where you just click the texts constantly.

THE BEST WTH???

Every week i’m on Apple Store tryna find a decent game that keeps me hooked, and every week it’s the same: nothing.

BUT THEN i find this game and it changes everything. The graphics, the audio and the whole plot makes it the best game ever.

Brilliant game!!

I got through episode 1 and 2 in a day they were soo good. I love the way they chose to tell the story and the story itself is fascinating. The one thing I do find a bit annoying is that your choices don’t seem to have much of a consequence? There was a few times while playing where you would choose what to say but it was obvious the response you got was the same one you’d get if you’d picked a different option and considering there is times they don’t give you any choice at all this doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Anyway, I can’t wait for episode 3!

Absolutely amazing

I’m probably the biggest detective/ mystery fan in the known world and I’ve been looking for a good mystery game forever I’ve downloaded many for free and most of the time, free is too much money for the quality of the game but this game is a completely different story. Within the first 10 minutes I was hooked and having just finished chapter 2 I personally cannot wait. It has an amazing story incredible voice acting puzzles that really make you think and beautiful art. It’ll be hard for any mystery game to impress me after playing this.

I FEEL LIKE AN ACTUAL DETECTIVE

This game is so interesting, it has me HOOKED. I can’t believe it was developed by only three people! If you’re reading this I strongly advise you to play. Maybe just don’t play it at night. The mystery can sometimes scare me but trust me, it is addicting!!

I feel like an actual detective, this game is so far so good and the ads are so worth it! They only last some time and you can get clues but I’m already considering buying the game pass because I know this game will become my literal personality before I know it!!

Great but…

I love this game it’s really interesting and engaging but the finding zoeys lost data is almost always way too difficult!! Most the time I have to go on search for the answers and it really ruins the experience ! Apart from that this game is really well done and so much better than other mystery games.

Best game I’ve played in ages

I never write reviews - this may be the first ever time but I had to for this game! Truly brilliant and masterful game. The graphics are brilliant and it really feels like you’re on the detectives real phone as you figure out the mystery. The story is easy to follow so that you don’t give up in frustration and unlimited hints are available if you watch an ad which I’m more than happy to do as there are NO other ad pop-ups. Meaning you can seamlessly play the game with no hold back or interruptions.

The three people behind this game are geniuses. The story is incredibly well thought out and the suspense had me hooked. I finished both chapters in less than 1 day and felt on edge and creeped out as it progressed (in the best way - this is how immersive the game was!)

I hope these creators bring out more similar games because this one was brilliant. This is a game I’d happily pay to play on the likes of a Nintendo switch yet it’s totally completely FREE.

Now I’m waiting for the third chapter and I can’t wait to find out what happens!!! Doubt I’ll find another game this good let alone for free!

I just got this game yesterday and OMG I love it already I just finished episode 1 and I’m starting episode 2 once you get into the game you are immediately sucked in ! When you read the diary notes you almost immediately want to know more ! In summary , It’s an amazing and deserves a place in everyone’s hearts ♥️.

I have just started this game and I’m really enjoying it. Came here from the Scriptic crime games via Netflix and although it’s not the same it is still great, no lag or crashing or anything and I’m really enjoying it. I hate to admit it but I have had to get a few hints along the way (you do this by watching ads) which I don’t mind at all. Free games all the way, they should all be like this. This is a fantastic game. SO clever, really engaging, I just can’t put it down. The ads aren’t invasive either so no spoiling of gameplay. Whoever thought of this concept and then had the genius to put it together is nothing short of miraculous. Amazing

There is so much to say! This came really made me think and was so interesting. There were so many twists and turns and it is just the best. I finished episode one and am eagerly waiting for the next episode to come. I really do hope it comes out soon and the creators don’t just give up on the game like others do! I would definitely recommend this game! I just wanted to say, I think the age for this game should be 12 instead of 9 as I just don’t think 9 year old kids will understand, besides that, this was an awesome game and can’t wait for Episode 2! Please download it, you won’t regret it! Trust me!

Great game but get a decent translator!

This is the kind of atmospheric mystery solving game I've been looking for and is generally fun if a bit simple in places. The one thing that really spoils it is the stilted use of English throughout - it reads like a bad translation and really gets in the way of the storytelling. Just fixing this would make a massive difference. Other than that it's a thumbs up from me!

Nice game

The game’s rlly interesting and makes u suspicious of everyone. The characters are realistic and the game’s puzzles are interesting and the methods to finding evidence too are unlike most games. I like the fact we can go through multiple emails including spam(?) email and photo galleries. The only thing I didn’t like much was the stuttering and ellipses during text 😭. But overall it is a great game and I am looking forward to continuing it.

LITERALLY THE BEST GAME OUT THERE

I love mysteries, my best friend sent me an Insta reel about this game and I was a little unsure at first because most games you have to pay or they are really complicated or have very triggering topics that are discussed. BUT THIS GAME IS AMAZING. The fact that there are no ads, it’s easy to navigate and super interactive is just perfect. And the Taylor Swift reference make me giggle. So unexpectedly good!!! Everything about this game is so fun, the graphics, the storyline, the mystery!! Is so frkn goood, although i wish u could change the music or have control over the volume of the music on the game app itself, other then that, its such a fun game, the whole concept is amazing and the graphics jus make it so much better. Refreshing!

I’m really enjoying this game! Most models these days are always based around connecting gems or some other mind numbing tasks in order to progress.

The tasks here are always relevant to the mystery, they’re interesting and different.

There’s no ‘pay for energy’ here either, which leaves me more than willing to then pay for those equally well thought out sidetrails!

A huge well done and big thank you to the developers for putting so much thought and creativity into their game! :D

Fantastic game

Had some initial problems with the side trails but this is now all sorted and am enjoying very much on my phone. Couldn’t get to work on my iPad but perfect on phone. The initial game is superb too and I think it should be a paid for game. I can’t wait for the second part the story is so intriguing. Glad I bought the added content now as it’s also fabulous. Great game so far

I’m about half way through and it is really good I like how you have to look and hunt for clues and put it together by yourself mostly the phone system is verry cool and I like the little puzzles I can’t wait to finish and find out what really happened will 100% be playing chapter 2 would recommend to anyone 10 or above as some of the puzzles can be challenging but overall it’s a verry cool game Xxx

Enjoyable but a bit clunky

The story and game are good overall but a bit frustrating for those who’ve played these sorts of games a lot - even though you’ve looked at information in different places yourself, you have to go back again for the game to progress. Also true of the hints, they’re not great at tracking what you’ve already done

Amazing game!!!

This really is a great game, a wonderful combination of creepy, exciting, and interesting. The difficulty is also not so hard that it takes away from the storyline and frustrates the player, but just difficult enough to make the player feel as though they really are solving a mystery. Wonderful play style, and does a great job of telling the story without making it boring to sit through.

Though some of the texting/messaging dialogue can be slightly awkward, and sometimes lacks the flow of a normal text conversation, this is an extremely minor flaw within the grand scheme of the game.

I also greatly appreciate the creators of this game for not forcing payment from players. Many games give a free to play option, but either make the player pay for the entire game or make it difficult to fully enjoy the game unless you opt to pay for certain choices etc. Now that I’ve played the first chapter of this game and greatly enjoyed, i know that I would be willing to pay to continue the story.

THE TAYLOR SWIFT REFERENCES PERFECT IT

I love this game so much, I’m having soooo much fun playing! I love how real the phones feel, I literally went to my real home screen by accident multiple times when wanting to go into other apps in it 😂. The texts are kinda irritating I’ll be honest the way they talk is really annoying but it doesn’t take any stars because it doesn’t impact the story or anything. The diverse types of puzzles you have to solve make sure it isn’t repetitive and I can’t get bored of it! I love that you can get hints when you are stuck, and I don’t mind that they require ads because most games I play on my phone have an ad pop up as soon as I press a button. Truly well made game and the Taylor Swift references made it so much better for me as a swiftie.

Could be really cool but too restrictive

The dialogue/syntax is really weird and unnatural. That's a minor thing, but it does prevent really getting into the story.

The full response options in messages don't show up, either so you get a teaser clip to choose from and have to hope the rest of the message says/asks what you want it to.

The biggest flaw for me, though, is that there's only one way to move forward, and it's basically by being walked through the story step by step. There are a few riddles and puzzles, but basically you're just a spectator.

BEST GAME I EVER EXPERIENCED

the title says it all. this is literally the best game ever!!! i finished the game in about 5 hours, but it was so fun while it lasted!! i loved being a detective and figuring out all of the puzzles. i also loved the fact that you could fully investigate everyones phone, and all of the different pictures. the clues were very fun to figure out (think ive said this already) and some were quite easy, but some could get you a bit stuck and you could be sitting there for a few minutes trying to figure it out - which i loved! i love a challenge and this game had quite a few. anyways, totally recommend this game!!!

I have no complaints, this is just a genuinely well made game. The plot is incredibly engaging and the game mechanics are smooth and easy pick up. Although I had my reservations on the game, it’s far surpassed any opinions I held prior. I’ve already spend a hot minute playing this game and time truly flew past. Definitely would recommend

Very well put together

Engrossing mystery story and mostly good puzzles - a couple are a little counterintuitive in terms of the exact words they’re looking for. The only thing at the moment that’s a bit broken is the clues you have to put together at the end of each ‘scene’ are already next to each other in pairs - think it’s a bug. Otherwise extremely well made.

In love 🥰

I have been looking for a game like this for a while now, where u get to be a detective and solve crimes from phones and puzzles. And this is amazing!!! I love the sass on the main character and how he just roasts everyone, it’s so funny 😂😂. I am a little bit though the game and am in awe at it and since I don’t normally leave a review on games, it shows how special it is. It’s also free!! 😱😱 there are other games like this where u have to pay after the intro and get into the game mechanics but this is all free for u to play which I was amazed at.

There are some reviews on the English being incorrect or hard to read, but it isn’t even that bad, and I think adds some comedy aspect to the game which keeps me interested. So I wouldn’t disregard the game because of it, as it plays just as smoothly.

So guys please play this game it’s so good and such a distraction from reality as u solve this mystery, good luck solving the case. Also thanks to all the developers of this game it is amazing and has made my day 🤩!!!

Great game but unsuitable age rating.

I absolutely loved the plot and variety of puzzles included but chatting occasionally included inappropriate language and somewhat mature detail in a specific part (no spoilers). I would also appreciate it if you could specify how to get to the data recovery puzzles as I was quite perplexed at the time. Overall, it was a great game, I recommend it for people who love puzzles and are interested in dark stuff. I will 100% recommend it to friends and I can’t wait for episode 2!!!!

So far so good! ☺️

I’m enjoying the game so far, especially for a free game. The only improvement I would make at the moment is that it could be written a bit better in English. Most of the sentences make sense but the odd sentence feels odd and not something someone would type or say if they were fluent in English. But it’s really subtle compared to most app games so it’s not a major issue.

I also would like to be able to gather clues before it’s needed by a task. Quite a few times I’ve been a step ahead of the tasks but I’ve had to go back to the evidence I’ve found because it wouldn’t let me record it earlier than needed.

Enjoying it so far though, i love a good mystery and I hope the ending won’t be too obvious ☺️

This is a great game, I have played ones similar to this but they cannot compare with this one.

Great puzzles brilliantly balanced so never to frustrating [well almost never] and this might only be me but bloody tense to the point that you lose count of the time.

Try this game you will not be disappointed

Loving the game

Great game and totally accessible, unlike other games of this type where you have to play ridiculous match 3 or other horrible games to progress, and then you end up playing those for longer than the actual game. The hint system is brilliant in this game, just watch an ad for a hint. Excellent game and I will recommend to everyone.

Feel like a real detective 🤓🤓

This is a great game, I love how you can fully investigate the phones and the contents. The story line and characters are brilliant. I’m only half way through and I have a slight clue who it is but I’m not sure if that’s too obvious 😆 however it keeps you guessing and it’s free !!! No ads so you can really enjoy the game. Well done to the creators I hope there’s a follow on from this relating to this story maybe ?? That would be cool like a series. Thanks for making a great game ✌🏻

Love it so far!

The game is amazing would highly recommend it, I've played other games like it where you could only get so far before you have to pay but this game is completely free, it's super straightforward to play and the game gives you instructions on what to do so you stay on track and the in game hints are there so you're not stumped. There's also Taylor swift references hidden in the game so bonus if you're a swiftie 🤩
