Way too expensive
Works good, which is why I give it more than 1 star. Yet, the price is absolutely unacceptable.
The monthly cost is too high and what the app does is something that should be given to users for a one time fee only. Even if that fee was 10 times larger than one monthly, the fact that you buy it to have it forever is worth it. But this? This isn’t worth it.
Tips for readers: there are apps out there that do this for free. This is how unimpressive of a task it all is.
Don’t get tied into a subscription model, do your research and find the better options.

Updated review
The recent updates have resolved the freezing problem. So far working ok. There is a bug with editing timing. The app does not save timing edits and exports the automated timing of initial creation. Very frustrating, please fix

I would consider that if you did a one off payment to remove watermark and to change the ratio of video so it would fit YouTube shorts and other platforms would be amazing. But a brilliant app.

Paid customer who keeps getting logged out
9/10 attempts to log in with the magic code and it just pending log in.
Really frustrating as I just want to use the functionality I paid to use.
Captions can be a limiting, especially if it’s correcting an error. Otherwise this app has potential.

The worst part(s) about it..
It asks for your DATA when you go around to other websites and apps, probably selling your data.
It only uploads your videos AND has a watermark in horrible resolution and makes the video choppy and slow. Terrible.

Not a 5 but great app
Although it’s not 100% accurate at sometimes.
It stays on a word on the screen until someone speaks, I upload videos with captions but it doesn’t do it right some times.
Doesn’t capture what everyone is saying.
Also when I’m trying to aline it up better with who’s speaking it messes the whole video up which ends me restating it all again.
Although apart from that. It happened rarely, but it’s a great app. More better then the ones they charge you a subscription which is just ridiculous.
I don’t care about the watermark. With magic it always can be erased…. But other apps charge you to just download the video.
I like this one because it’s simple.

Great app for captions
I have just done my first video with Veed captions and it works great for me. The captions are nearly perfectly accurate, with minimal editing and very easy to correct. What is more the video is saved to my library. It is a great tool. Thank you.

Super cool app, I love how I can just caption and even translate my videos both whether I record in app using the video maker or upload. I like all the different styles and fonts and love how you can then see how your video will look on Insta vs TikTok etc. super helpful!!

How to change position?

Had to edit the text a bit, minor mistakes in speech recognition (Russian language).
Couldn’t find the feature, that is advertised on App Store, so can you please help me find it? How do I change the position of the subs? Need to drag them a bit lower.

Editing ability
Hi guys app is DOPE so far first of all. I would love for you guys to add in a feature which allows you to add words in and for it to automatically or manually be synched in with what’s being said for sentences which aren’t as clear if that makes sense ?

Is there an option to change the font or add a border or background behind the words?? All I can see is you can change the colour but no to change anything else?

Missing many features present in the web version, such as different fonts and colours for the subtitles, different sizes for the subtitles and being able to manually move the subtitles around. Right now there are only a few presets. With these features added the app would be a 5/5

Easiest Way to Add Captions!
I downloaded VEED to add subtitles to a bunch of short video clips and works really well! You choose a video file from your phone, select the language and it adds captions automatically in a few seconds - a real time saver! I also like that you can change the format and video size from the presets. HIghly recommended - and it's free!

The app is clean, easy to navigate, loads quickly and completes tasks efficiently. It is also free, so that’s a win.
It does the job reasonably well.
Con’s
Quite a lot of speech is missed unless very clearly sounded and pronounced. Subtle conversation or language nuances missed.
I also feel the design of the app is lacking. It is quite a flat, colourless interface. Give it some more colour, some more life and interaction. Excited us visually.
