Scam app!
I wanted to send £200 bitcoin to a friend.
It wouldn’t let me send it. It was saying, I needed to update the app.
So I withdraw my money. So wanted to withdraw £200. MoonPay said, I would get £140 back and had to pay £3.99 fee.
So all together got £136 paid out too me.
Not very impressed with the large withdrawal fee.
Plz people in the UK be aware of this SCAM APP!
I will be closing my account and deleting the app.

I purchased bitcoin £200 worth and sent it to a friend , I did not receive a receipt for the transaction and my friend didn’t receive the 200 worth of bitcoin therefore moonpay has lost the money and I did everything correctly
Customer support is useless if you are in the uk I don’t recommend this junk to anyone as it is a fraud app with useless people running it I don’t even want to put a stay but I can’t put 0 stars .

Lost money
My friend has paid for over 200 worth of btc and when he went to send the btc it was somehow lost and moonpay support somctied to give bogus replies instead of fixing the issue. We’re in the uk and we’ve had to learn the hard way that moonpay is a scam app and it shouldn’t be used

It’s a scam
This app is a complete scam. I purchased some bitcoin and even taking into account the ludicrous transaction and processing fees, the currency fluctuations, the amount of bitcoin in my wallet was less than what I purchased. I tried to contact them and the only thing they had was a virtual assistant. No matter how I phrased the issue it came back with the same response. Saying it didn’t understand and please select from these categories, that had no relation to the fact MoonPay had stolen money from me. Saving your money and time and never use this app

Worst app ever to sell on
This app is great if you want to invest your money in crypto but trying to get it out by selling the e crypto is impossible!!! There are numerous hoops to jump through and send this auth code and that that in the end I’ve just given up !!!! Try it are quick enough to take your transaction and give you crypto so why is it so hard to do the reverse ???? STAY WELL CLEAR AS I STILL DONT HAVE MY MONEY

Dont use this at all once you deposit you wont be able to send your bitcoin anywhere. The app will just say address not recognised no matter how many times you try with other wallets and crypto addresses. Had to close my account after hours of helplessness. Avoid at all costs

Clean UX and a nice customer journey. It’s a lot cheaper to buy directly from MoonPay than to use MoonPay on another wallet. Would be even better with a native purchase flow.
