Don’t waste your money

It’s a scam, with loads of fake reviews that keep its score up. There’s no grace period or introductory offer, they take your money, don’t deliver on what they advertise and refuse any refunds, even when the app is broken! The customer care service is no use, I think it’s an AI bot as every email repeats a script with standard wording that doesn’t answer my questions.

Scam - Customer Beware

Based on UK, AVOID THIS COMPANY! Saw sponsored Ad on Instagram, filled in the quiz - have to subscribe to download and access the app, then fill in the questions again. Took 14 minutes from payment to download the app and have the subscription cancelled. App / Service is not as expected. Not suitable for UK customers, all prices are inflated American prices $$$. Contacted ‘Customer Service’ multiple times for a refund, to be refused, despite a ‘Money Back Guarantee’ that I doesn’t exist as they will deny on every technicality. No help from ‘Customer Service’ just generic responses refusing any refunds.

Absolute scam

The app is not personalised at all. Once you pay your trial fee, you get to a landing page which is full of generic, AI-generated images and information. It is a total hoax and scam. Nothing is personalised. All you get is prompts to pay for more “services”.
Even in their own terms, they know the app is awful and acknowledge that is likely not what you expect. Their terms helpfully preclude you from requesting a refund if you are personally unhappy, regardless of the fact that you will be unhappy because the product is not as advertised.
I have spoken to customer care 3x. Instead of refunding me, they are offering me “free” add ons. I do not want to receive a generic customer service response to this, only a refund.

I was curious so I took a test online and downloaded the app, without my knowledge and any kind of receipt they’ve charged me twice almos £50!!!! I’ve contacted immediately to let them know that I don’t wish any of their services and that the purchase should’ve been made by mistake. They replied to me saying that they couldn’t do anything due to “their T&C’s.” BE AWARE OF SCAM!

Awful - waste of money and time.

I started answering preference questions on an ad. As per usual, in order to get your results you need to pay, to gain access to the app etc. The questions were really in-depth and I felt that this might actually be useful. So I paid along with registering my details for the monthly subscription and downloaded the app. Guess what, you get access to loads of generic advice about wardrobes. Nothing that you can’t find in Google. And nothing personalised to me. In order to get any personalisation, you have to book with a stylist. So what’s the point of the questions other that to make you part with your money to begin with? All guides are extra money. Whilst tapping many buttons to actually look for content worth having, I accidentally “enrolled” on a capsule wardrobe. It charged me $28 (no secondary check of whether I am sure I want to spend it) and it had obviously saved my details as I didn’t have to authorise the spend with Apple Pay!!!!!! Even looking at the guide that I had inadvertently purchased - nothing that I couldn’t find on Google. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

It involved basic questions, rather than a more customised approach that is created when the service is being purchased. Awful, scam, all bots.

The clothes they eventually let you look at (1 outfit at a time once you’ve had a painfully slow ‘conversation’ with a bot) could be bought on the high street for less money.
Their app has many pop ups that charge you immediately, despite their money back policy stating they require express acceptance from the user to charge you for anything - some pop ups you can’t even get out of.
Their customer ‘service’ is all bots and they will just flat out refuse to do anything to help you at all, even though their app doesn’t follow their own policy.
Absolute scam, just avoid like the plague 🙄

Severe misrepresentation

Severe misrepresentation in their advertising - they get you run through a series of 39 questions with the representation that they will provide a suggested looks plan for you and then when you eventually get to the app there is nothing curated to the survey results and it is full of pop-up after pop-up to get you to upgrade services! They also say you can get 100 percent money back, which is another misrepresentation as when I requested it immediately upon entering the app and seeing that it was not what they advertise, their support team replied that the money back guarantee has two exclusions and they do not refund for Personal Reasons which they define as a user not getting what they expected - or rather what they were promised!

No indication anywhere that’s visible (because the app is so badly designed you can’t see anything) that you are signing up for a subscription, and then they take money out, with no email confirmation of any of this.
There’s also nowhere to click to cancel a subscription on the app, only to renew so I can’t cancel the thing I never signed up for. Won’t be emailing them directly after seeing some of the horrendous reviews on here so just submitted a fraud report to my bank and cancelled my card. Tricky Subscription involved

As soon as I realized there was a subscription involved, I promptly canceled it. I’m not sure what happened, but I was still charged. I initially paid for two or three items during my first purchase, but I never agreed to a subscription. I’m uncomfortable with the way my card details were used without my consent. I kindly request a refund, as I did not intend to use your service. Moreover, I find the app to be quite confusing, and the fact that I was charged for something I didn’t understand feels deceptive. SCAM!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!!

I would have explain the details, but I don't have to. I should have read the reviews before downloading the app, to prevent this from happening to me.
I downloaded the app, paid £0.99, the app was frozen on one screen so I couldn't cancel the trial. It doesn't even matter, as I was instantly charged £28.94 for subscription.
I contacted their customer service, who couldn't locate my account (what a surprise). They were quick to respond, only to each time request for more information - my card number, PayPal details, full name. I contacted my bank and they've provided me with the exact transaction number, stating that if this is not a scam, they will be able to locate me with this number. Guess what? Couldn't find it, and requested more info, screenshot and exact time and date. After providing this, no further response, despite previous very prompt replies, from Lily, Aleksandra, and Tony, who are probably fake bots anyway.
So, I lost money to a scammer. And I bet they will now respond, like with the others. I will provide an update, probably the same as the others.

But three days later I received an email that I paid 49.99 to Stylemenow and I had an automatic payment set up with them. Good thing I paid with PayPal and had my money back.

Terrible

I purchase the app on a trial basis. As soon as App downloaded, it was stuck on one page, the page to book in with the stylist. Due to this I was unable to get a customer service email or contact anyone. Therefore I was not able to cancel the trial and they then took the money from my account. I get this is due to a technical issue but it gets worse.
After getting onto the app a few days later I did get customer service and emailed them on two occasions. I stated there must have been a technical issue and I would like my money back as I couldn’t even cancel the trial. I received two replies and I replied with the informant they asked for to locate my purchases. I has been 6 days and I have heard nothing from them. They have my information and can’t do the decent thing. I will warn all do not touch this app - it’s not reliable and they are happy to take your money and not communicate with you!

This company is running a subscription scam

The website and information is genuine and pretty standard
You go through their Facebook book lead magnet and are charged an insignificant amount for the results of the survey though this charge isn’t mentioned till the end
You are then given no option but to proceed to download and set up an account
Again no notification of the subscription no mention of subscription
They then 24 hours later take out a subscription amount probably in the hope you won’t notice
But they do not make your aware
(Unless you read their small print)
that you are signing up for a 24 hour free trial after which they will start taking a subscription unless you stop them immediately
This may not actually be fraud but it is definitely very bad practice
The company may be genuine but I will not deal with a company that does business in this way

Open app it was a trial for around 3 usd. Then before I knew it without buying anything or even having any interaction within the site as it crashed I was still charged around 33 dollars or equivalent currency. Beware they advertise their advice for £1 but they charge 50 times more and don’t give refunds.

They advertise as Ageless dressing in Facebook and offer to give you advise on how to dress for a little as £1. What they don’t tell you is that they are charging you £1 just to sign you in to see their services. You pay your £1 and they give you instructions and a password to access the £1 advice you paid for but then when you get there you only get the option to book a full consultation that won’t cost £1.
I decided not to book but was still charged almost £50. I have asked for a refund but they won’t grant it because very deeply hidden in their terms and conditions that if you sign in (you did for £1) they will charge you the full price.
I also paid £1 for advice on how to style my hair but despite all the questions they put me through the advise totally irrelevant to my hair length and characteristics.

I got charged £21 for something I didn’t even know I had accepted. Not clear at all. Also paid .99p just to be forwarded to download the app. Haven’t received any styling. I think this is intentionally designed to get you to pay first before receiving anything and then signs you up for a subscription. Be careful.

I regret ever downloading this app. As I had simply downloaded it thinking I could get some good stylist recommendations but it was all scam. The stylist didn’t respond to me accurately during the session and my $0.99 was a waste actually. This is a scam app

Do not download this app. It is a scam and they will fraudulently continue to charge you for monthly subscriptions even if you haven’t explicitly agreed to the services. I have raised this with Apple store and will seek to raise this further until this app is discontinued from the store. This should not be allowed to operate in such conditions. There are multiple users complaining about the same thing and still they are allowed to operate! Unbelievable practice

I start this app as it’s seems good. But they took my money for 2 months and I didn’t purchase anything or receive anything from them. When I first sent mail they replied me nicely but when I asked for refund they haven’t replied me till now. So I sent email again but they still haven’t replied so I don’t have any choice so I have to write this here.

Scammed after trial

I paid 99cent for a trial and then they took $35 from my account completely unauthorised. I asked for a refund but they refuse and just to add to it, I can’t even access my account on the app and when I email them I get an automated reply with a link which doesn’t work. Save your money and don’t download this app.

Tricked into $39,99 monthly payment when I just paid for a trial

Not a great experience. I signed up to just have a look and paid $0,99. The subscription doesn’t show up in Apple Subscriptions so I didn’t think I needed to cancel. Was then charged $39,99 for 2 months each month before I realised what was happening. To me this seems like a con. Thankfully I paid via PayPal and was able to recuperate the costs.

Unexpected charges

Downloaded it and paid a small cost thinking I’d get a set of suggested wardrobe items. The app required I arrange an online meeting with an stylist which wasn’t clear earlier and I couldn’t arrange at the time so I deleted the app. They got a fee for nothing but I didn’t mind. Since then I had a payment demand for £32 which luckily my bank declined and froze my card. I’d say be wary.

Be Careful! £40 is the subscription fee

Nowhere did it mention the fee, in fact I paid the 99cents and thought that was it. Luckily I read the reviews and saw people complaining that 40 comes off. Checked the account under subscriptions and sure enough the trial is 3 days and autorenews at 40 bucks!! So dodgy and sneaky. Plus their stuff is so basic. Nope. Nope. Nope. Low grade con.

Avoid

Clothes suggested were ok overall but did not reflect my style or size. Though I am 50 the suggestions seemed to be for a very old 60-70 year old. Furthermore offered suggestions in the USA when I live in UK. Finally the app crashed when I was in a session and no attempt was made to get back in touch with me, plus information offered was lost. Numerous complaint emails were then sent but they then closed the complaint even though I had responded numerous times. Shocking service on top of a shocking shopping experience which cost $50 for nothing.

Never used and you keep trying to take money from me

I saw an ad on Instagram and downloaded the app but didn’t even open it and deleted having read the reviews here. you tried to take money from me a couple of days ago. You’ve tried again today and luckily my card provider has declined both attempts. There’s a cost of living crisis on and I haven’t authorised you to take any money from me. And they aren’t small or insignificant amounts.

Easy with some new ideas

I enjoyed my session. It was a chat where they ask you preferences etc then they start defining your style and make some suggestions. They suggested long tunic style sleeveless jacket for the climate i pibe in which is a really good idea. I would recommend it

Dodgy! Not upfront about costs. Also, messed up scheduling.

I was charged $25 by surprise for consultation with a Stylist.
When you sell services you MUST be upfront about costs. It’s illegal to hide costs and then charge.
It looked like my subscription included 1 session with a stylist.
The scheduling was another mess. The call with a stylist was booked on time that didn’t match time in the email confirmation. I followed time in confirmation email and missed the session. Next day they charged $25.

CON!

I purchased a guide after taking a quiz on instagram not knowing that this was signing me up with a monthly subscription. Apparently the free trial is 3days of which you have to cancel witching 24hour before that ends. I did not receive the guide it took me to the app which asked me questions and then opened the app fully at no point did it state this was a subscription app and that I had a 3 day trial! If it had I would of cancelled immediately. Please do not get conned like I have, they are now refusing to refund and reviews on other sites have said I’m not the first this has happened too.

They continue to charge your card fraudulently after your one-time purchase.

I agreed to the 99 cent “plan” and then was redirected to their app which simply does not work. It says my account does not exist but it must in order for them to charge me. I emailed support thinking it was a bug and they would fix it. I got a bot reply and nothing else. 2 days later I have a significantly larger charge made to my card fraudulently as I have not purchased anything further from them. Do not purchase form this company.
UPDATE: Developer response below claims to be investigating my issue but on the same day I had an email from them saying they’ve cancelled my subscription but no refund. Completely ignored my video evidence that they failed to advertise the 3 day “trial” and subscription fee if you do the style quiz and then purchase the 99p plan via Apple Pay. They have fraudulently charged my card and will likely do the same to you.

Total scam

BEWARE. I signed up following an ad on social media. Money taken but account not set up, as soon as I downloaded the app I couldn’t log in and support couldn’t help - apart from trying to keep taking money from my account. No way to stop it as there was no account to log into.
Same thing happened to a colleague! Both of us had to cancel payments direct with the bank. Seems like a scam.

Scammers

Terrible service, poor stylist advice taken straight from a generic library of outfits, noting personal at all, felt like I was talking to bot not a person. To add be careful with the cancellation, these cowboys trick you into thinking the process is complete when in fact you need to scroll to the bottom of a page and keep doing so for a few more pages to actually cancel. After your initial reasons for cancelling they take you to a page with THANKS FOR YOUR FEEBACK! On hold writing at the top of the page, alluding to the fact the process is complete, they then take money from your account and respond with generic responses when trying to access this. Hope App Store look into this as I’ve sent them full details of this deceiving app

Dreadful

I clicked on thinking it was £1 to look/see what about but ended up being charged £40 which they took very quickly none of this three days as according to the helpdesk. So because I paid the money for a month, I gave it a try. It is either an automated response or whoever is sitting around the office jumps on and gives advice. The resultant suggestions link to a website that is ridiculously expensive. Overall a complete and utter rip-off and my advice is do not click on the advert in Facebook.
I have cancelled my subscription which I did with in 24 hours, and I am worried that money will be taken next month. A large amount of money to get absolutely useful from it.

Scam

I wanted to have a look at this app. It took £.99 when it downloaded without warning me. I thought ok, not to worry. Not a huge amount of content on the app but loads of extras to pay for.
Then I find they took £40 a day or so later. I did not consent to this, I had no warning, I contacted them saying I didn’t want it. They said there was no option of refund and it was in their T’s & C’s. I asked what the £40 was for as there is very little content. They haven’t responded. I’ve asked twice more. No response. There is hardly anything I can access in the app and they have taken £40. Total scam don’t bother.

The worst customer support ever

You can’t cancel your subscription or delete your account yourself. Three times I wrote to the customer support with request to do so. Each time they replied that it is done but my account is still there. They don’t reply to any further messages.
This is against the law to lie about my account and to refuse to delete it!

Stung!

I downloaded this app a few days ago to have a look. Opted out of all the add-ins and didn’t arrange a consultation. I then had a brief review and thought -nah! Not for me - deleted the app and checked for any subscriptions that had been applied.
Today I receive an email from PayPal saying I’ve paid almost $50 from my bank account!!
I feel scammed and I hope the developers can resolve the prominence of their financial model as well as refund me for something I have not actually used.

Not too good

It started well but I was offered clothing ideas for a 30 something, I’m nearly 70 albeit a Modern 70 I was still sent clothing like a crop top. The ideas were good as in the colour pallet but it would possibly help that you find out the age of the person you are aiming to help and the size, there is no way this bod is going to look great in a crop top. The advisor was good a very polite. I don’t think I will be using you anymore, that’s not to say you are no good, but you are not good for me. Thank you for your help.

Horrendous

I haven’t been able to log in using the account I signed up with and they are still charging me! I want to cancel my subscription since this app is unusable. I’ve never left a review ever but this app is a scam, don’t sign up and absolutely don’t give your card information, it does nothing and keeps on leeching money.

Absolute scam

It’s just a money generating trap, no value or good customer experience. I deleted the app 2 days after download, they still charging me like it’s fine. Content is low quality, nothing new and the payment is just a nightmare cycle. Can’t wait to finally figure out how to get rid of it and never deal with this developer again.
